If counter to NOED is cleanse 5 totems, counter to MoM is hit again. If you can't enjoy as killer play as surv. Sure you escape all games.
I don't use NOED, nor did I ever used that argument. Nice strawman, wanna try again?

@HavelmomDaS1 M1 Killer hits you twice, downs you on the second hit, picks you up, takes you to the hook and makes sure no one gets to rescue you. Well done, you've just denied (or countered) MoM.
So no, MoM is not a 100% guarantee, you have to earn it by escaping the killer after they hit you then mending afterwards 3 times before it's even primed to activate and give you 1 extra hit point.
So yes it most certainly is not debatable because I've just proven it to be fact that it does not activate 100% of the time against every M1 Killer.
Besides which M1 Killers who have Surprise attacks can abuse a bug that doesn't trigger MoM's pip system.
Well then healing wouldn't helped you out anyway. That was all about the discussion. Don't try to jump in without knowing the sub topic

@Milo said:
@HavelmomDaS1 .... Debatable
U will get MoM 100% against every basic M1 killer without healing a single time. That's not debatable, that's a fact.
-
@SlinkyJinky said:
Remember folks buyer beware. MoM is useless if:
- You don't escape, then mend each time your hit
- You don't find someone to mend you
- You don't find a med kit to mend yourself with
- You didn't bring a med kit with you to mend yourself with
- You didn't take Self Care as a perk
- Your up against a Killer with Nurses Calling
- You don't get rescued / de-hook yourself
- Your up against a Killer who face camps
- Your up against a Killer who tunnels
- Your up against an M2 Killer
- Your up against an M1 Killer abusing the Surprise attack MoM exemption bug
- Your up against a Killer who uses Noed.
- Your Claudette
Now armed with the correct knowledge about your purchase, enjoy MoM!
U don't need to heal a single time to get full use of MoM, ######### are u talking about?

A lot of sweaty survivor mains came back playing, mainly cuz old Legion is gone. Therefore you will have a much harder time, I'm currently experiencing the same

"Finally gets the boot"
Don't you think that's a bit melodramatic? MoM has been out for a little over a month. This whole thread is too much, really. Nobody is forcing you to play any Killer.
If I want to be a serious killer who stands a chance against that bs I'm forced to. I don't like losing. But I especially don't like losing cuz of unbalanced bs and survivors getting cocky cuz of that.
-
@SunderMun said:
>pretending lack of variety wasn't an issue before MoM
It was an issue yes, but now it's extreme. I was versing Wraiths in red ranks, especially between DS rework and MoM release. I haven't versed a single wraith so far nor do I want to play wraith

What do you expect from players to play? A Legion?
I expect the devs to fix this mess so I can play every killer in rotation again and can verse different killers. That's it.

Just look away, then you won't see them t bagging... Some people have problems, I wish I had them.

Mastering Billy takes a lot of time.
Getting chainsawed from huge distance is 100% your fault.
Stop crying about the most balanced killer in the game.

I don't think he's reliant on them. Unlike the OP, he's not asking for exhaustion perks to be deleted.
He's defending ex addons which means he needs them which means he's reliant on them. Basic logical conclusion.
-
@ClogWench said:
Not many things cause exhaustion and it's literally the only thing in the game that counters exhaustion perks so honestly it's not a big deal. If you're that reliant on Balanced Landing you should work on your own skills.

If the leaked power for ghostface is true, then ghostface is the next killer that can counter MoM, given that you stalk enough to expose them.
I started to see a pattern here.
It depends how much time it takes.
MM can counter MoM in theories, but practice shows that it's not realistic to get exposed on everyone. U have to use basic m2s and use EW3 well timed.

@Mushwin said:
ugh...she does have some bright clothes as i said on another post....if you can't find her, if in doubt check the grass of corners...i really have had no problem as a killer finding claudettes who wear dark clothing....just maybe listen out, take a second glance and watch the scenery around you with crows etc
This doesn't mean people use bright colour cosmetics. Majority is using p3 or those extra brown green cosmetics.

thats not what i meant.
It would require a rework of her p3 clothes.
Yeah, whats the issue? As if adding some bright spots would take multiple hundred hours of dedicated work for the devs. It would be a matter of 1 hour at best, probably even less. I could do that for them.
-
@Peanits said:
This would be more of a progression change, and typically rank and progression are treated separately. Allowing only people at rank 1 to sell their unwanted items would make it way easier for them to progress since they have an additional source of bloodpoints, meanwhile newer players who arguably need that jump-start more don't get to take advantage of it. Selling back items at a reduced cost would be interesting, although tying it to rank might not be the best option.
With that logic grinding should be taken out of ranked completely. Cuz, why should a newbie start with 0 perks and put in Hundreds of hours to get decent perks to be competeable against others? Ranked should be like league mode: all perks and items available.
Then there would be a casual mode, where u have to unlock everything
-
Same happened with the huge post called "why I'm stopping to support BHVR with money".
Many reactions, some Devs were answering aswell and out if the sudden a mod deleted that post. Here is a biased mod censoring and I'm pretty sure know who it is.
-
If you shrink killer hitbox looping wouldn't work anymore as it currently does. This means they had to completely change the maps against to balance everything out, add more pallets etc.
-
What exactly is the issue tho? I mean, what are those people saying exactly and why? I don't get why people call him names

This is true. To be perfectly fair, the perk grants tokens on hooks, not deaths. Since you did not hook them, you should not get a token for it.
You could make a case for getting a token when someone DCs, since you would often be about to hook them and that removes your chance to do so, but if you failed to catch someone the entire match, that's a different story.
But how about DCs. It's not my fault when a survivors rage quits on his first down and denies my token. I should get the token anyway.
And some survivors are locker jumping in the basement, hard to catch that randomly.
-
Leaking stuff is a business and marketing strategy. Ofc it could be on purpose, I wouldn't be suprised at all.

1 hit won't make that much difference to good nurse mains. it usually only extends the chase for about 5 seconds. unless it's a boosted nurse.
1 hit can make a huge difference, especially with the adrenaline meta.
I personally will play nurse with moris now, I have so many stored cuz I never needed them. But now I want to avoid MoM cuz it's annoying af

I try to go easy when it's a three man. I'll still kill them in the end. I just try to not depip them because of a shity situation. I've had it happen a couple of times (interestingly a Freddy both times) where it was rapid fire DC's. He let me get enough points not to depip and even gave me hatch. I always appreciate a killer that's a good sport and try to pay it forward when I can.
But why blaming the killer if he plays normal? That's my question.

It was myers, but since MoM I don't want to play him anymore and sticked with Billy and Nurse.

@HURRI_KAIN said:
Explain why MoM is better than DH. I'm waiting.
DH - Pros: Prevent damage, insta down, M1 down, and Myers Tier III Mori, every 40 seconds. Prevent Bear trap damage.
Cons: Must wait 40 seconds to use again. Must have skill to time the use at the best moment.
MoM - Pros: Prevent being downed from injured, one time per game. Requires no skill.
Cons: Prerequisite of being M1'd three times to prep perk, (likely this means you've been hooked at least once before perk is available) Permanent killer vision on you if used and healed to full health. Makes you killer's obsession. Only useable once, per match, IF prerequisites are met.
MoM is fine. DH is fine. MoM is fine.
If you're afraid of MoM, use any of the following OP aspects of DBD, and you'll laugh at MoM: leatherface, Myers, hillbilly, Mori on any killer, Plague, Spirit's silent phasing and grabbing survivors, clown red head's finger, Pig RBT, Huntress Iridescent head, Huntress headshot one kills.
Let me be clear, I don't feel that everything in the previous list is OP or needs changed, but everything in that list DOES counter MoM. The italic ones need changed. Huntress one shot head shots should never be in the game. Moris are important in the game, however there should be a bigger penalty for using them, like no BP for Mori, or less BP with each subsequent Mori. Mori is important part of the game, but is Very OP, and ruins the game for the survivors, especially the Ebony Mori.
The counters above counter DH as well as MoM. Change my mind or stop whining.
By that logic old DS was fine aswell. 1 time use only. If missed the perk was wasted.
-
@CallMeSpidey said:
Hm....I've had a difficult time debating this perk since I use it but I don't suffer from it because I'm a Nurse main.
But it's the perk that caused Ardetha to stop maining killer and I miss his Nurse videos.
Really? U have a clip of him saying that and maybe explaining his opinion about that perk in detail?

With the amount of perks we have they are.

You seem to forget the part where the devs have stated over 20 million times legacy IS NOT coming back ever it was a reward for those that had to deal with old bloodwebs which were insane
And the current bloodweb is fine or what? Imo the current Bloodwebs are as horrible as the old ones cuz getting the perks u need takes insanely long

@gantes said:
When all you know how to do vs a killer is loop, it's obvious you're gonna dislike going against Spirit.
There's more to the game than that, you know. Sometimes you gotta adapt. And unlike Nurse, who is only limited by her player's skill since it's all about precision with her, Spirit is actually VERY mindgame-able. Some killers you gotta loop, some you gotta mindgame. Mindgaming is harder, that's why Spirit is a strong killer.
And why do I not dislike to go against Nurse? Such a stupid strawman, this has nothing to do with looping in the first place.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
IMO.
1- nurse. because basically no counter play. all what you can do is pray that the nurse sucks. if she's good. that's ezpz 4k for nurse
2- spirit. mindgames 99% of the chase is a bit annoying
3- tombstone myer. otherwise he's fun. it's just annoying when a survivor feeds myer to 99% and myer comes to you because you're the obsession and he has dying light. and get mori'd instantly
Why do you bring up Nurse and myers into my discussion? That's not my topic.
-
@theArashi said:
I guess amount of people complaining about the killer shows how viable he is. I haven't seen anyone complain about freddy or wraith but we constantly get flow of whine for nurse, billy and spirit - killers that pose a challange for survivors that just want weaker killers.
And before you quote me... you do want to go against weaker killers because they let you make more mistakes and goof around more while powerful killers require strategy and thought.
Recently I have been playing with no mither and games against the nurse were really fun and it wasn't some run of the mill baby nurse but a very accurate p3 nurse. As long as survivors don't ragequit the second they go down, games are fun.
I prefer to go against billys all day long. Most balanced killer, it's really a skill vs skill situation versing him. U better? U win. Simple. No perks required, plenty of counterplay, mistakes get punished as it should etc
Don't know if you reference to me, but ur wrong if it was referencing to me.

The only people who play using Legion are 1.) people who haven't played with him before and are just testing him out or 2.) People who are just messing around with no intent of winning. It takes no skill to win against legion now. A newbie could easily escape against him. If there is actually someone out there who can get 4k using legion then that takes real skill. Sorry but you have to play as both survivor and killer to get a complete perspective otherwise you sound kind of ridiculous. This isn't complaining about balance but rather just stating a fact that everyone who plays killer knows is true: Legion is trash. Don't kid yourself about "skill."
Listen bud, I have 2.4 k hours of playtime. 1k hours is survivor, guess what role I played for 1.4k hours.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
Spirit isn't that hard to run from, you just have to be extra unpredictable. I feel most people don't like her for the same reason they don't like Freddy, because they don't actually understand what the killer sees when they are invisible.
I main Spirit and I use Stridor, but I still get very smart survivors that know how to juke my phase walk. Most of the time it comes down to backtracking after running or slow vaulting windows. You have to be aware of when she last used phase walk too as a lot of Spirits will fake phase walks at pallets and such. I will admit Prayer Beads are stupid. They need a drawback, specifically just remove the ability to grab out of phase walk and they wouldn't be as bad.
I know those tricks, works very good against average spirit players. Against experienced spirit players no chance, constantly guessing and to often guessing wrong

@thrawn3054 said:
They're more annoying to play against to me really. I enjoy play against Pig, Billy, and non camping Bubbas the most. Evading those chainsaws is super fun for me.

believe me, the grind is NOWHERE as big as it used to be before they added Legacy Skins.
the current level 50 Bloodweb used to be a old level 35 Bloodweb, level 50 Bloodwebs had always all possible spots used, which was insane, considering we didnt even have perks like BBQ or bonus BP events to boost our killers / survivors.
the devs already said they wouldnt want legacys to return in any way, so i doubt they will ever implement new ones. the only exception i can see for the "no legacys given out anymore" rule would be people that got struck by the "loss of progress" bug, which was not that rare back in the day. however, since its mostly fixed now, id like to have my lagacys back...
Well, unlocking all perks is harder task now then it was back then for sure. And it keeps getting harder with each new DLC update. I'm an OG player since release and tbh, the grind feels as insane as it was back then. Especially when u get unlucky and don't get the perks u actually need.

U can use ReShade.me to get the same or even better effects. Besides using different AA options u can also activate adaptive sharpening or Luma sharpening to remove the muddy blurry mess. For me it's a must have, the standard DbD graphics are hurting my eyes and my brain to much
