Let's have you play Huntress on Lery's or Haddonfield or Rancid Abattoir and see how many times survivors loop you around the same window 3 times.
I was only referring about killer shack here, not about other windows.

There sure is.
PC
Rank 1: Feng Min
Ranks 2 - 19: Claudette Morel
Rank 20: Meg Thomas
PS4
Rank 1 - 20: Claudette Morel. Literally all Claudette.
Xbox
Rank 1: Jane Romero
Rank 2 - 5: Ash Williams
Rank 6 - 18: Claudette Morel
Rank 19 - 20: Meg Thomas
You can imagine why we didn't bother to make a fancy graphic for it, it's not very interesting. Xbox is the only real surprising one, as it appears people there tend to play the newer stuff.
Btw, is there data about how many players have prestiged? For example 10% prestiged once, 0.2% prestiged 30 times etc?
Would be interesting to know how much of an addict I am lol
-
Trust me, it's not because of her perks lol
-
Tbh, if u can't catch a survivor after 3 windows vaults u have different issues than getting them banned.
-
Probably bhvr has only the licence for the name but not for the actor

@Orion Ah come on, lets be realistic shall we?
5k escape okay fine, then you need 10 self care heals which means that you need to heal yourself 10 times wasting 320 seconds. 5 min to max one category because the category is not designed well.
And then we have, well, 27 self care scenario. I honestly don't even want to talk about this.
How many times have you gotten 32k as a survivor? Be honest with me. Even though I am a survivor main, that number is 0 for me.
How many times have you gotten 32k as a killer? I am pretty sure it is so much that you don't even remember. At least, I don't.
Of course no though, as always, developers and survivors teaming up to molest killers and it is so much easier to get 32k as a survivor with unrealistic calculations.
Have to agree and confirm this.
I by myself with around 1k hours of playing survivor (total of 2.4k hours with killer) I never got 32k points. Never. Even when farming, the closest was around 31k with farming. Without it was 28k max, which happens really rarely.
On the other side as killer I can get the 32k quite consistent, every 2 days at least.
The points for survivors aren't good designed. It needs some improvements.
-
I never farm as killer, and as survivor if I get a "friendly" farming killer I either DC or go afk.
Most boring thing in dbd are the farmers.

None whatsoever. If an EAC update decides to scan for changes to perk icons, you'll be banned. The fear of the ban hammer is always there.
That's not 100% true.
To OP: U can use ReShade (ReShade.me) for DbD, it's whitelisted on EACs homepage.
Furthermore using custom icons in the UI folder is the most safest thing you can do. It's not whitelisted but there is not a single record of someone getting banned for that since release simply cuz EAC doesn't care about that folder but about other folders and files. U can get any advantage by changing those files.
-
Adrenaline is fine how it is. It really doesn't need to be touched. People just come with changes cuz they broke self-care meta. Now, after 2.5 years people use more adrenaline and out of the sudden it's broken and needs changes? No, it's in a good spot.
-
Where can I find the stats? Did they made a stream on Twitch or so?

Hillbilly takes skill?
Yeah, hitting m2 can be difficult. Especially against good and unpredictable survivors. Also, using it at his full potantional to curve at loops is nothing you gonna master in 1 week practice. It took me months to be deadly af with my chainsaw at loops and with the introduction of new buildings and new tiles it's difficult to adapt to that.
Anyone who says Billy doesn't take skill is probably the worst Billy using his m2 only to travel or against survivors right in front of you cornered.
-
@JetTheWaffleCat said:
Billy is probably one of the most balanced killers (without add-ons). They just need to fix phantom hits and revert the hitbox change a while ago. Getting hit through corners, trees, and far away from windows is very unpleasant. His charge add-ons need toned downed as well.
Dedicated servers will hopefully allow more active dodging. Keep in mind that hitboxes are broken for both sides
-
@xChrisx said:
Billy instead of oneshot should put the mend status, and nurse needs a complete rework for her broken power
Why would you go as billy for a difficult and high punished (if missed) m2 attack just to apply deep wounds? You would make him to an M1 chasing killer.
This is a suggestion coming from a 110% biased survivor main who never played killer for a long time against strong survivors.

i agree, its mostly her addons
Additional blink addons to be more specific, other than that she's fine
-
"hey, let's nerf the most balanced killer in the game who takes skill to be deadly af but has plenty of counter plays aswell!!"
Yeah, what should go wrong with this idea. Smh.
-
At the end it doesn't matter, just don't use offerings during the event. Save them for later

@GrootDude said:
“This perk truly makes me want to only play Nurse and Billy” Then why don’t you? Nurse is a lot of fun and Billy is good at countering it.
I really hope u will verse ONLY hardcore Nurse players just cuz u said that. Funnier when u come here complaining about versing the same killers all time

Where the game isn't dictated by people making mistakes, instead rewards for nice plays.
Nearly impossible, I don't know of a single pvp game not building on mistakes of your opponent. It's a big part to punish mistakes in every game.

U can hide it tho, but takes more skill. They need to fix sound, more important than red glow imo

I doubt Crossplay would be allowed between console and PC. Case in point? Bill Overbeck. He's PC exclusive, and on top of that, all of his teachables are neutral perks in the console versions, meaning there would be more issues than it would be worth.
I believe the devs wanted him playable in the console versions, but for one reason or another, it was disallowed, and led to the situation with console players we have today.
There is a difference between having access of an character and just showing a character.
Also, you could put a requirement for pc players: wanna play with/against console players? Bill not allowed to pick.
Simple.
-
@drunky26 said:
I voted against.
I really don't want to play against console killers, they're gonna have an even harder time catching survivors that use kb/m. It's not a good idea if you ask me.
You wouldn't be forced!!!
Why is everyone assuming that Crossplay ability is automatically forcing console players to play against pc players?? You would have an option turn it on or off. And probably at one point u would wish to have this option activated to play with friends on other platforms. Or at least at the end of DbD's life, when the community shrinks down more and more.
-
@foxboxunionttv said:
I voted against it, its a terrible idea to put a pc player vs a console player as the time frame between mouse inputs and controller are huge plus frame rate differences.
Calm down buddy. This isn't call of duty, counter strike or any other high fps shooter game. This is DbD. The delay of wireless controller input is absolutely insignificant.
Only professional e Sport players need these differences.
-
@ClogWench said:
I voted against it mostly because there's definitely ability gaps between people bound to a controller and people with access to mouse and keyboard
U as player would have an option to enable it like an other game with Crossplay support. U are kinda throwing stones into the way of people who really want this.
Also, aren't the console players talking all time "console is competitive aswell and with practice better than pc players?"
Furthermore, it's just a matter of time (probably with the next gen consoles) that mouse and keyboard will be supported on consoles. Microsoft is already trying the first attempts with exclusive hardware to play with m and k.

It's a matter of if you're lucky. BHVR themselves won't ban you, and I hear it's very rare that people do get banned for it.
But knowing how the universe works, a 1% chance becomes a 99% chance.
This has nothing to do with "beeing lucky".
Bhvr won't ban for this, so only eac could do it. BUT eac doesn't care about UI files in the UI folder, pak files are more interesting for them.
Furthermore, if eac detects missing or modified files in the UI they will fix it by not starting DbD and forcing you to verify the files if eac will ever care about that.
Also, NOONE got banned for that, I don't know a single person and I investigated a lot of banning posts on different platforms. Noone was related to UI changes.
Changing the UI is probably the safest thing you can do with DbD. You are more likely to get banned for using a macro with AHK and that's already out of scope for EAC as far as I know.

ur wrong... I luv youtube gameplays and very often specate others, so I see if they ally with the killer, t-bag, troll hard....
as well as players dead 20 minutes ago participate in the end game chat and comment my actions
"as well as I see players dead 20 minutes ago that participate in the end game chat and comment my actions"
What's wrong with that?
-
U seriously complain about that? It's absolutely standard in nearly every single team based pvp game.
The only people who complain about that are probably hiding something cuz this has nothing to do with "privacy".
Could be cheating, exploiting etc or beeing a bad team mate (hatch camping) or just in general beeing a bad player.
Accept it, that's not gonna change. It's part of the experience.

@Delfador said:
As long as there is a little bit cost, I am okay with this idea.
If there is no cost, people will just search for ebony mories, insta heals etc.
I wonder 5k cost is enough though?
Maybe the costs will be depended on how many BP is left to finish the bloodweb, from that 30% or so? All values can be changed ofc, maybe the devs like this concept aswell.
What do you think about that @Peanits?
-
@not_Queen said:
I like the idea. Let me ask around.
Oh please do, I and probably a lot of others love numbers and statistics. Always interesting to see results of surveys
-
It would be much easier to just remove perk tiers, cuz this wouldn't involve to rework the bloodweb and entity consumption
-
"Which is better then hitting a hex check under unnerving presence while at Madness 2."
What does that mean? I don't get it lol

Next week? Maybe in 2 weeks, who knows.

M2 attacks aren't available to every killer so no there's no actual Game play counter other than face camping, Ridiculous I know.
Not only that, it's also ridiculous to expect a Billy using m2 against an injured survivor. No point to make downing someone even harder.

That looks glitched; Claudette doesn't blend in anyway near like she did before the lighting system change.
Are u mixing stuff up? Since the new engine update with the new lighting and shadows blendette is even harder to stop at certain spots. U cant remember the outrage back then??

That and I would think before would be good too. They can easily workaround the amount of times a killer would doge. Just like other games like Overwatch for example. You go play quickplay, leave like 3 times in a row. You are punished. They can do a cooldown increase for the amount of doges in a row. Also they shud let the SWF be able to stick together without inviting. (Assuming Dedicated servers can bring that)
Why even give a option to see swfs to dodge just to get punished later on? Doesn't make sense to me tbb

Spine chill. I think this one might be slightly popular but I never see anyone else use it.
How is it game changing? With game changing I understand to come out of a really bad situation and flip the table to win. I don't see how spine chill fits into the description.

The % of DCs per match for the last 12 months

Salt.

So you realise why a lot of survivor dont heal now and it's being called the non heal meta?
People complained SC is op it should only work once, people heal too fast we need a nerf to healing overall.
Devs hang off doing it saying healing wastes time and they are not on gens, a debate ensues on the forums with people against nerfing healing overall being told they want to kwep their crutch.
Devs eventually nerf healing, survivor adapt and don't heal and stay on gens.
Now gens are going faster and we have posts saying being Injured needs more of a downside.
I sit here reading these shaking my head as low and behold when you got what you asked for it didn't have the desired effect you thought it would.
Ikr? People can't think multiple steps ahead.
-
It already has a big impact. U r one-shot, leave blood, grunts (audio bugged tho)and perks like thana, sloppy and bloodhound is making it worse. It's alright how it is imo

Noone tested that perk in the PTB?

In some ways, it is. The issue is that we'll need dedicated servers in order to do it properly. It was mentioned in the dedicated servers news post, but they will allow us to be distinguish between intentional and accidental disconnects and create a better system for punishing those who do it excessively.
How realistic is it to implement this theory into reality? As far as I know even big game developers teams can't tell for sure if a disconnect was on purpose or not.

I'm saying it's the reverse, that one person's game won't load, despite still being open, and it's only when they close it that everything is fixed.
Exactly this, can confirm that by random tests with friends.

I haven't say that, don't put words into my mouth. I'm talking about EGC only. It doesn't make the killer game more stressful.

Your bias is Unreal lol, calling MoM useless now? Mental.

#########? This doesn't make sense at all, how is it more stressful for the killer?

I will go ahead and bump this one cuz the cuz a lot of discussions about DCing are starting.

Same happens with addons when using white ward. A bug since a year or even longer
