As a killer your survival depends on other three guys that might be literally braindead? No.
NOED rewards you if you fail as killer, the hatch compensates for having a bad team.

NOED halves the amount of hits the killer needs to down a survivor.
He still has to track and hit them.

Also NOED only punishes survivors that are to lazy to cleanse totems.
Which happens often in solo Q, I get very often lazy sacks as mates who hardly pumping gens and doing 0 totems lol
I don't understand why people don't do them. 600 points for a few seconds. Way more than what they get from repairing gens.
I don't know either, lately so many killers are using noed that I thought "well, I did 4 totems now, SOMEONE has to do the last one"
Nope, we all end up dying because noone did the last dull totem. It seems like no matter how often people die cuz of noed, they don't learn their lesson

This game profits from people having to grind in order to keep their interest and get in-game store sales.

They have bloodhunts periodically so just wait. In the meantime, you have perks and offerings to help you on that front.
    - Bloody Party Streamers
    - Survivor Pudding
    - Escape Cake
    - Ardent Wreaths
    - Fragrant flowers
If a game only is interesting because of leveling and grinding, the game is bad. It's the cheapest and laziest way to keep the players playing, sadly so many casuals are falling for this trap. I know some people who as soon they got every character to p3lv50 they Completely stopped playing because it's not fun. They didn't even bother touching it after several new DLCs

This insane grinding is bad game design and it can backfire sooner or later.

That's not 100% true, the worst player in the team can get the hatch while the best players die. But I get what you mean

Its not even optimized on PS4 and Xbox one yet...so port it too the weakest console?

PS4 and Xbox should be optimized before Fall. They've promised FPS improvements for all platforms this year.

They have 8 months until Fall.

8 months can go fast. Depends on what they are planning. If they keep pushing new content I can't see that happening, it would be to much stress for the devs.
  • Do you know what the sad thing is? They skipped the recourses and time for the optimisation patch we were waiting for so long just to appeal a minor community (yes, switch community is the smallest), a community which probably isn't interested in a game like DbD... Thats sad, we the guys who supported BHVR for so long should have gotten the optimisation patch first before even thinking about porting it another platform. That's just my opinion .

    I love the map.

@powerbats everytime a killer burns The Game offering, it’s either the doc, the spirit or the nurse. Tell me about abusing beneficial maps heh
The game map has probably the most pallets lol, and most if them next to each other so that perks like spirit don't matter to get a hit.

I love the map. I think it's the variety I enjoy. Indoor play, outside play, height in the pagodas, grass, rocks, long open edges. I enjoy it :)
Play killer and it will change your mind :)
  • 1. Don't be rude (I understand what you wrote)
    2. Only if you write in English people can help you. Don't think turkish is a world language and everyone understand this
  • That soon? Hopefully the killer map is interesting, I wish they'd tease a bit more since so far all we have is that teaser which gave nothing

Idk about a new map, lately the maps are really bad designed (not from the looks but from the layout). I would like a map like from the clown release, probably the most balanced and fun map for both sides
  • Her neck area looks a little bit weird when she turns her head to the sky btw
  • Flashlights? Christmas crackers? New year crackers? Pallets? DS? Insta heals to a certain extent?

What else do you want man?

We all know that doing gens is boring and playing survivor was way more funny back then (reason why I shifted playing killer more, survivor got boring), but killers will get bullied or even harder genrushed. Maybe in a casual mode if devs would finally introduce such a thing, but not for the one and only game mode we currently have. It already can be really frustrating and hardcore to verse well organised and skilled death squads.

Sorry if you don't like skepticism, but hearing it from 1 person without anything to go on is sketchy to me.

How else are cosmetics getting into the game? Magic or what? Especially if it comes with physics.

Furthermore watch the dev stream of the creation of spirit, they show and explain how they work on that stuff

I'm sorry but this game is littered with bugs and probably the most offensive one is the infinite loading screen. So how are they gonna be constantly updating the store with cosmetics when they can't even get their game to work properly? I could also give like a full list of balance changes for both sides if I wanted to. It just seems like cosmetics are the least of our concerns right now. In short, fix your [BAD WORD] game before giving us any unneccesary #########.

You cant sell bug fixes though

Not directly, but in the long run. I know many friends who didn't bought it after a free weekend cuz of some bugs they encountered

Furthermore, bhvr has limited money recources, so it's legit to say to say that they should put more resources into the coding team instead of the teams for cosmetic/event etc

While I like the idea of the devs sitting down and balancing the perks, it's probably not gonna happen like that.

About the number of perks, aruably the devs could remove those unconditional statusboosts like Brutal strenght, shadowborn, unrelenting etc, while compensating with basekit buffs.

That would allow for new "interactive" perks  to be used as replacements.

I think if the devs looked at who was using what perks, they could nerf the ones at the top that everyone was using and buff the ones at the bottom that nobody uses.

Stupid idea. Why would you nerf perks a lot of people use? Just so they don't use it anymore?? As long as a perk is balanced and fine, there is no need to touch it no matter how many people are using it. Don't force people to select perks they don't want to use.
  • I would like if the devs would stop with new content after the upcoming DLC and focus on balancing, reworking and alternative gamemodes. We are really at the point where we have to many perks (50+ right?), balancing them is getting more and more difficult, ideas are getting more and more bad (every new dlc introduces more bad than useful perks) and there is still nothing mentioned how the devs want to combat the grind.

We are already at the limit, friends stopped playing after they realised they have to put multiple hundred hours into the game to get access to some perks on just a few killers and survivors and it's getting worse and worse. This isn't WoW, the game should be easy to access for newbies. Normally there shouldn't be a grind to play ranked matches in the first place, everything should be accessible like in league gamemodes of call of duty. But ranked matches is the only gamemodes we have currently.

What survivors have to do in order to win:
    Repair Gens

I don't quite agree. If you don't rescue or heal survivors wont win.
Also depending on the game cleansing a totem or disarming a trap could be the difference between winning and losing.

Hatch is always there, no point to rescue if your only goal is to escape.
  • What survivors have to do in order to win:
    Repair Gens
Open the exit gates/Look for the hatch

    That's it.
Survivors know that gens are to quick, but noone is going to play bad just so the killer has a chance. Furthermore, noone wants to hold longer M1 at gens, so the second objective is what smart survivors want. More fun for everyone.

Idk, the description was weird at the release but now I'm used to all the terms.

They need to rework the Shrine of Secrets - make every single perk available to purchase and eight of them go on sale every week.
    Make it like this;
Perks from DLC Killers and Survivors = 8k Iridescent Shards
Perks from non-DLC Killers and Survivors = 4k Iridescent Shards
Every week, two DLC Killer, two DLC Survivor, two non-DLC Killer and two non-DLC Survivor perks go 'on sale' and their prices are halved.
On Sale DLC Killer and Survivor perks = 4k Iridescent Shards
On Sale non-DLC Killer and Survivor perks = 2k Iridescent Shards.

Maybe they could bump up the prices a little bit to make it more difficult to get DLC perks, and perhaps add the option to buy perks with Auric Cells maybe so they have another way to make money, to make up for a potential decrease in sales resulting from DLC perks being purchasable for free.

Not even a bad idea, much better than what we currently have

  • And people wonder why killers get picky about lobbys..

  • Sorry, but I hate everything about him. His voice, his sounds are disgusting, I literally can't take it. His whimpering is even more disgusting.
His character model while running is making me angry, Idk why. Whenever I play killer I break chases against Jeffs or completely mute the game, I can't take it.

Just wanted to share this, am I the only one?
(Sorry to all Jeff mains tho, but I really want to smash things when I see or hear a Jeff)
Damn sounds like people should start playing Jeff against you lol
I will go afk if people would last second switch to 4 man Jeff lol

Just don't use weak killers. Pig is garbage, everytime you try to use stealth the survivors give each other a heads up on the mic.

Guess it's Nurse/Billy for everyone.....but then they intend to nerf Nurse so guess it's Hillbilly: The Game.

All other killers are too slow so voice comms hurt them more.
Isn't it sad that we have so many killers but only a few are actually viable?

Why bother purchasing new killers if they get the Freddy treatment after a week?

Survivors get what they want. Killers get told to play survivor or civ.
At this point we should not bother that much about new killers but keep our defence up so our nurse and billy won't get nerfed. That's all we have.. I know, it's boring to have only 2 really viable killer to combat 99% of survivors (if the skill is there obviously) but at least we got something. My biggest fear is a nurse and billy nerf and lately I heard a lot of people saying that billy will get nerfed
I think that would be the breaking point for many killer mains.
Yeah would be for me I guess, I can't play nurse all time cuz the fatigue makes me sick..
  • I think it might help a bit, although the frequencies are separate (footsteps are low while breathing is more mid-high) and shared with other sounds in the game. Would this be counted as cheating if used?

    What program exactly?
  • A lot of killers play with their audio quite loud to hear that stuff. Useful for countering things like Iron WIll and the dreaded flashlight pallet blind after breaking. Anything to give them an extra advantage

Advantage ingame more important than a disadvantag of your ears in real life? Lol

Mathieu said on the spotlight that when the survivor becomes an obssesion, killer and himself gets a benefits from this. HOWEVER, decisive strike gives only a benefits to the obssesion, killers doesn't get anything from this.
So what about if we rework the DS in that way, when they both gets a benefits from this?

If you're using that logic, then apparently Sole Survivor, Play With Your Food, Remember Me, and STBFL are all "incorrect" obsession perks. I don't think that both sides have to particularly benefit from obsession perks.

Play with your food and STBFL gives a survivor benefits in countering the killer, since those perks better works when you leave your obsession alive. Dying light gives a survivor an increased speed to altruistic actions. I agree with sole survivor and remember me being an incorrect.

Doesn't the obsession counter completely the effect of remember me and can open the exit gates at normal speed no matter how many stacks?
  • Any moment you run a killer long enough and he fully committed on you.. He doesn't care about gens, he just wants YOU... and right before you are going to die in a dead zone, adrenalin kicks in and you are in a save spot + fully healed. Escaping in these situations are satisfying, but a rage quit of the killer is even more funnier lol
  • They'd likely start lobby dodging until they were in the same lobby like they did before SWF was added to main gameplay, or leave.
No, it's not 2016 anymore. The playerbase grew up immensely, there would be no point to even try
  • Sometimes the worst spot of ruin is the reason why I 4k 5 gen a match. But that's because the survivors are greedy af and want the totem to badly that I can capitalise on that, it's totally up to the survivors and not to me doing amazing.
  • Reloading hatches after killing the last survivor, "job done, next pls"

Crusing with billy as long as possible around the map when last guy is on hook struggling.

Generally farming as much points as possible while last guy is on hook.

Moonwalking at the exit to the escape

This is actually a really old issue. But since I've never found out what causes it or why it happens so randomly I never bothered to report it. Most people will just say it is lag or bad hitboxes of DBD and that could be it but It's hard to say.

No no, I think u misunderstood. Im not talking about hitbox, I'm talking about that when I blink and press M1 nothing happens. Just nothing, I go into fatigue as if I never pressed M1

I want more 'general' perks not situational, especially for killers.

Look at last perk we've got with the legion. Mad grit and Iron Maiden, both of them are situational and people don't use them. Again, as I have stated before, killers can not afford highly situational perks. We need perks that can affect the whole game like bamboozle, brutal strength, enduring etc.

    As a survivor,
I want to be able to see my scratch marks. I would love to have a perk that allowed me to see them so that I can make good jukes and plan better.

I want to have a perk that makes me quiet when I am walking or sprinting or grass sounds. When the sound system was broken, I was able to make good plays since killers were not able to hear our sounds.

I want to have a perk that allowed me to have a map first time I search a chest just like pharmacy. A lot of people still don't realize how good detective's hunch+map combo. I wish I could get that perk as soon as possible.

I don't play killer much so I don't know what I want for them.

Why do you want a perk that messes up with sound? Don't you know how absolutly necessary sound for killers is? Didn't you saw right after the engine update it was ez pz to lose the killer around a corner because he couldn't hear you? That's such a stupid perk idea

That's because there is a pattern among the most toxic players.

Nea with the long 80's hair, or the short dark hair is ok. If she has a flashlight it's just a flashlight who cares.

However a Nea with a flashlight and the pink hair or the beanie hat, there is a high chance they're going to be a Decisive using extremely toxic little twat. Gee I wonder why, I wonder which streamer promoted toxicity and used those Nea cosmetics.
Nurse it is man :) seriously, I agree this pattern really exists. If I see these "toxic" cosmetics I know whats going to happen and I will switch to nurse or billy
