Accuracy is one important thing. Other important things are making sure their ability is fun to use and to play against, making sure they fit tonally within DBD, and making sure they aren't too repetitive or boring.
I think, though I cannot prove it, that the last point there is why Nemesis doesn't sprint even though it's the only other thing he does that'd fit within DBD. Lots of killers have a sprint/dash/hurtle ability, so it'd be kind of repetitive- leaning into his tentacle and adding an infection mechanic to evoke RE in general was more unique, and since it isn't inaccurate it's totally fine.
Besides, from what I've seen, Wesker seems shockingly accurate? His main thing in RE5 seems to be super speed, like, dashing and dodging to and fro. In DBD... he has quick dashes that look very similar, on top of a fun new mechanic that plays off his strength. Similarly, he has Uroborus tentacles to play off his Uroborus form-- the infection is the only thing that isn't accurate.
I think your main issue is that you think the only way to be accurate is to translate things one-to-one. There are other forms of accuracy and faithfulness to the source material, like evoking it with similar mechanics and similar themes. Wesker fits that perfectly- drawing straight from the source for the broad shape of his power, for his voicelines, for his mori, and for his appearance, but giving them new specifics that make him fit within DBD even more smoothly.
Thank you. And if I may add on to this point.
You mentioned they need to fit TONALLY within Dbd. And that's the reason Nemesis doesn't have his rocket launcher or Wesker his guns. Such technology doesn't fit the tone of dbd.

There's no reason to make others.
So you say
But you have made 2 about this ptb alone and plenty since the first re chapter. That's not counting the times you just randomly brought it up in other threads.
It's gotten to the point you're so predictable. More predictable than most people on the forums
-
We're going to get quite a few of these threads I feel
-
Because they STILL haven't added Sadako as a Pfp and Spirit is the next best thing
-
-
Honestly I think they should revert the stun, keep the disable at endgame, leave Iron will the way it is, and revert Spine Chills nerf
-
Aside from the very beginning paragraph, Sluzzy is actually making sense now.

How is Sea of thieves? Been considering getting it 🤔
Cyberpunk 2077, Apex, Death Stranding or my all-time comfort game Metal Gear Solid V
Honestly. Unless you don't mind hard-core grind. Sea of thieves is a really fun game. I think this because it can be so many things. Action-packed, relaxing, it can be many different things but regardless it's always fun.

I was, but sadly I lost both my ultra sun and sun, no clue where they went
That happened with my overwatch and Spiderman disks.

Insert Monty Python reference here...
(Which I would do if I remembered that scene well enough to quote it lol)
Eh just put the for honor execution that VERY VERY subtly referenced that exact scene/s

Idk, those animations seem like something a crazed serial Killer would do.
These look like For Honor Executions

He's a good a tier killer. Great map mobility. Good anti-loop. He needs no buffs

There's just no way this will make it into live servers like that. The devs will surely realise they have to nerf tunneling and camping properly, now that the fair killer strategies are finally buffed.
The sad thing is they've apparently been working on a solution but it won't go live at the same time as the rest of this update making us stuck with this.
-
Because those slow killers have powers that make up for it. Nurse can blink. Hag has traps that should be set up in an inescapable web. Huntress , Deathslinger, a Trickster are all ranged. Spirit has her phasing. These killers need to be slower than usual because if they were faster there powers would make them border on broken.

I feel like the Wendigo of Until Dawn would be a better killer

No.

I think Hitokiri would be the best fit since she's supposed to be a bit creepy and I love their design. I could see Shaman working too though. I don't really think any of the others would fit the horror vibe.
Yeah that's what I thought as well.

Because interacting with lockers at all is supposed to be risky. If he couldn’t grab survivors who were locking lockers he would almost never get a locker grab because people do not hide in lockers when they realize they are facing dredge.

I was about to say this. I know everyone or most people would dodge nurses and bubbas
And let's not forget nor forget. Every killer would be doged. Every killer has someone who doesn't like playing against them. While some would obviously be dodged more than others the bottom line is no killer is safe from the issue

@GillyBeannn said:
Can we at least have the option to see the killer's ping?
That and the username I would be fine with. Or hiding all usernames until after the match is over.
-
Why tho?
It's one of the very few instances flashlights have a good use
-
I'm fine with Wesker as a killer. But imo the RE Franchise has some better villains for dbd in it. Specifically Jack Baker or Mother Miranda
-
Probably not the next 3. There is probably a license somewhere in the next 3

Seriously guys… come up with a better quip than “survivors are entitled”. What we’re entitled to, what we’re ALL entitled to, is a FAIR GAME.You can keep avoiding the facts of my post all you want…. But you know I’m right. I’m not saying the killer should stand still and let survivors farm. And you’re being disingenuous just to argue with me if you think I am. Farming is MUTUAL. Killer gets points. Survivors get points. It’s even. And saying, “hey, killers don’t like DC’s either…..” and then acting like you can’t do anything about it but slaughter the 3 man team is also disingenuous. You can show sportsmanship and let everyone who got screwed by the DC get points or you can be unsportsmanlike and slaughter the 3 man in your way too easy game. The fact that 95% of the time killers choose to be unsportsmanlike speaks VOLUMES about this game. Talk about entitled? Sure sounds like killers feel entitled to that free game….
Incorrect.
When you click ready, you are entitled to a game and nothing else.
You click ready, and you accept the scenario you're describing as a possibility
Nothing unsportsmanlike about playing the game how it was supposed to be played

Stop trying to nerf killers to make them weak so you can beat tired of survivors doing that pisses me off leave him ALONE
Someone misinterpreted the purpose of the thread

No

Dark devotion? Light born? Claustrophobia? Discordance? Really?
-
No. Que times would inflate and swf would never get a game.

But for how long?
-
Depends how long it takes my teammates to ######### a skill check

You gotta be more specific. Everyone’s solo q hell is different

I mean is SB really a problem. I think dead hard is the only real one.

Yeah even in the entity's realm the rpd breaks the very fabric of reality

Great 1st post

As a killer main...no.
It's commitment

I mean I don't like dead hard either but don't you think you're overreacting a bit

Sounds like it's being used properly to me
