Horror fans have been saying were fake horror posers in dbd community. I always hated them saying that with strong killers like pig in immersiveness. But im starting to believe those people were right. Noone cares about the character being themselves and more if they play well. I have given up on dbd and been here since the alpha.
I just wish they stuck to original killers and didn't destroy love for these horror icons. I still love them in movies but in games they get zero care and respect. I really hope they don't touch candyman or any other killers cause just gonna take a piss on the franchises. We have enough of creators doing that in the franchise itself. But to have a game that is proud of making ######### tier horror icons. Is a bigger load of garbage compared to making all killers weak to survivors. Always thought making killers weak was dbd biggest issue but making killers not go with the iconic roles is mine.
I hope all these killers get own games where they get some respect cause bhvr is sure not caring to lend some.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I stopped spending money on this game after Ash released. All we get are more rubbish killers, broken perks and weird changes that don't help the game to be better than it is. As for ghostface who looks like an Assassin's creed cosplayer with the ghost mask slapped on and his lame power that's a weak version of Pig/Myers, it's not worth the time or money.

Well this changes everything...at least for the chance of getting the movie robe. It would also explain why Ghostface has the correct buck hunting knife from the movies in game.
The problem is that they'll probably charge us more for a movie accurate look. Which is stupid in it's self.

Plague is overrated, just like clown.
.No map pressure due to having to walk around the map and her fountains insta heal you so anti-heal is useless on her
.Has nothing in chase for most of the match (I'll get to corrupt purge later down the list)
.vile purge barely helps in chase, only really good in deadzones and the "stall" plague is supposed have barely matters
.Survivors are notified when she has corrupt purge so they can just hide and make you waste corrupt purge
Freddy on the other hand is very underrated but you must understand his playstyle and be able to multi task
.Power is best counter to gen rushing (50% reduced action speed is a big deal). A good Freddy will keep at least two survivors in the dream world, at all times.
.the seven seconds can be mindgamed to get a free hit. Freddy disappears and reappears in and out of existence, which allows Freddy to mind game and confuse the survivor in where you are
.Freddy is also the best killer for typical killer mind games because of his short stature and the dreamworld makes him harder to see
.Freddy has the best perk pool out of every killer and gives him a large variety of builds

I don't know why but it's really fun to camp the basement with leatherface. Probably because survivors fall for it.

ghostface will be the second dlc under license that we will have this year, do you think will be the last?
As bluberry said I hope Ghostface is the last licensed character. The only licensed killers I like are Myers and Freddy (No he isn't as bad as the community says he is). The rest are complete garbage and an insult to their horror icon status. As for ghostface, he's just a recycled killer (Myers and Pig) except that he doesn't have the stall potential of Pig or the snowball of Myers. In conclusion, Ghostface is just another cash grab for the sheeple to eat up. While the devs continue to pump out more expensive cosmetics, rubbish killers and broken perks, instead of fixing the core issues in this game. Enjoy! :)

I've never understood why killers overrate the game (map) so much. Nearly every pallet is save and most killers are garbage on it.

DS was premium as well and DS has been in the shrine just like MoM will be. Legion is completely different from Ghostface and have you even played new Legion yet? They're far from perfect but far better than they were. It's a rework not a nerf ffs.
Ghostface and Scream are the inspiration for Legion, which should be obvious.

Hopefully the devs will make it happen at some point, but the scare factor of Myers is why people like playing against him, especially when the killer is purposefully trying to be scary.
I’m sure they’ll add his original costume in alongside with the new ones.
If that's true then it should be his/her default outfit. I don't see them putting his father death costume in the game and if they do then I'll have to spend more money to have him/her look movie accurate.

Just because there is comedy and self awareness does not mean Scream and Ghostface weren’t supposed to be scary and serious either.
- ghostface is literally supposed to look that way. He’s supposed to look like any cheap costume anyone can get. He also deliberately wants to be taken not seriously until it’s too late - just like what happened with Casey and Tatum, even Sidney at first.
- The movie has an opening that’s more scary AND tragic than Psycho’s shower scene.
- The lore of the movie literally opens with how the killer we know to be Ghostface raped and slaughtered Sidney’s mom.
Comedy and self awareness, seriousness and horror are not mutually exclusive.

I bought the game because I'm a Halloween fan and finally could get to play the king of 70s horror. Then when people got good at the game and realised they could abuse poorly designed maps I realised that dbd is the worst "survival horror" game I've ever played.

I IMMEDIATELY noticed those about 2 seconds into the animation as well.
It's as if they were added to his design just to make sure that he's not super hard to notice and to give survivors a chance at spotting him before he get's too close.
If they float and flap about as he moves he will stand out a lot more than if he didn't have them, giving that "what was that moving?! ah there he is!" scenario.
It's Kates curly hair all over again.

guys did you notice that they are licensed only on the Ghostface mask? that's why the dress is not the original one.
So it's just a watered down version of Ghostface that looks like an assassin's creed character with the mask slapped on, lame. I expect nothing more from BHVR and their cash grab chapters with mediocre killers and more second chance perks.

The clown is fine, he just doesn't do well at low rank due to well, him not being there or people playing him being new to the game and learning his power. Killers played in just high rank or towards high rank aren't killing a huge pool of players, killers played in a wider rank spread gets more kills.
