  • Unfortunatelly, if 1 side want to win and sweat, you have to sweat as well. Being nice and chill against a sweat is why you lost.

  • When you woke up at 1:00 pm.

I know no one who does it with good intentions.

Survivors just wants to "wave" the last "good bye" to a wonderfull killer who let them escape, they're cuties.

I really don't get why people are saying he is map dependant, he is covered for basically any map. The only ones I have been struggling on are the one that are brutally huge like red forrest but that is pretty much the same for every other killer.

Wesker and let's say... Blight have same tactic against them. In which Blight is very map dependant.

  • Facecamping at first hook is the most unfun and unhealthy way of playing this beautiful game. Nothing much can be said.

And it's all because someone wants to win...

Some killers are boring to face everyone has different opinions on that. But it's pretty popular opinion that looping is most fun thing from survivor side and killers who counter that well make the game unfun.

Yes, this can be discussed endlessly. But the point is still there - killers using their powers, which are boring. And survivors using windows and pallets, which are boring as well.

Unfortunatelly... Fun part for one side, isn't fun for other. But you can't do something about it, rather than try to reconsider what is actually fun for you.

  • @Mazoobi said:

    Creative in how?

The game mechanics haven't drastically changed for survivors so I'm not surprised that gameplays are rinse and repeat.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying you're wrong but BHVR should try to shake the game up tbh.

    I didn't mean it.=)

    When survivors saying stuff like:

    1. Nurse is only blinking and hitting I can't loop her, she's so boring.
    2. Artist is only using her power to prevent the loop, she's so boring.
    3. Hag traps everywhere it's so boring, or irritating.

It's the same stuff, as the killer will say:

    1. Survivors always using windows, they're so boring.
    2. Survivors only using pallets, they're so boring.
    3. Survivors only using DH or etc perk, they're so boring.

It's actually, saying that "Playing the game is boring"

There is no such thing as "boring" in the game. If so... Everything is boring.

I feel like the problem here is not the offerings themselves. The problem is map balance in general so getting rid of the offerings does absolutely nothing if the maps still aren't changed as well. It's a bandaid fix

You're right, but the thing is... I'd rather let the random decide the map, rather than someone from the lobby. Waiting for maps balance is somewhat unreachable. It's gonna take a year or more.

At least for now, I think they should remove such offerings, they're not going to hurt the game at all.

  • @scoser said:

Tell BHVR to stop making map specific achievements then, like Outbreak Breakout, so I don't have to burn 46 RPD offerings in a row to try and get it and still come up short.

My eye just twitched, when I read "46 RPD offerings"...

Think they avoided voice altogether because it's meant to be solo, or it would invite too much trolling/misuse/abuse. Proximity comms would be cool, the amount of time i chase behind someone to try and offer a heal then give up thinking forget it they're doing their own thing or not looking behind ha.

They avoided it for plenty of reasons... Mostly because: Different languages in EU servers, Trolls, Abuse. You're right.

I'd rather have "in game chat" over voice, if proximity comms will not come.

  • Dwight - giving the most usefull information.

I didn't read it but I will say, offerings are unbalanced for both sides because many maps are unbalanced and it would take years to fix them all one by one.

So lets just delete them, at least for near future until maps get better in the long run.

Thats ok, you don't need to read my outrage, title is saying everything.=)

I honestly think the crows would be a good feature for something like this. If they haven't done a gen, or healed, or cleansed or ANYTHING for 20 minutes the crows go off.

Afk crows, as they right now, just makes no sence to me, coz they work only if survivor doesn't move at all and just looking around.

Making them like you mentioned is a way to go, or as above mentioned: Make a timer to each match 20-30min. So if someone decides to hold someone hostage, the game will end after timer runs out.

I agree, they were trying to outlast one another to get hatch. It wasn't really about you but about who could be the last survivor standing. It's unfortunate that you felt stuck between them, but escapes mean a lot for survivors (as a way to preserve or improve MMR, which determines the quality of teammates). If you find yourself experiencing this particular scenario often, location perks like Whispers, Spies from the Shadows, and a few others could really help. Darkness Revealed is good for finding immersed survivors as well.

Thank you for your advice. I might try it for next matches, but I doubt it would work, since I have hag on high mmr, most survivors running flashlights and popping gens really fast, and as a hag, I have really low chance catching one without traps.

So certain perks are must have on hag if you play high mmr, like Franklins (against flashlights), corrupt (to have time to set up), jolt (to not wasting time kicking a gens)... Sadly, I don't think hag is good without these perks, against a good survivors.

  • It will be too strong for certain killers. (You know what I mean)

  • @drakolyr said:

Well hiding and avoiding killer is a core thing you have as a survivor.

How many bloodpoints do they get? Also i had so many killers say i just hided while i did 3 gens and did some gens without being noticed. So, its maybe not just hiding. (Also kinda hard to not get AFK crows if you dont do Gens at all)

My quote: "Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with survivors hiding, it's their work to avoid the killer"

But, quote: "I'm not a baby hag, not a single gen completed or being worked, 2 survivors are dead and I have a full web of traps with 4 generators in it. This match was clearly over."

Besides, in end-game chat they told me that they wanted me to dc, coz they don't like hag.

How many bp I can't remember, but they didn't even touched any gens when second Feng died. For the last 26minutes I was searching every single gen, locker, bushes. Gens were at 0% everytime I passed by. It's got me really angry, I already knew, that these jerks trying to make me DC.

  • @HugTheHag said:

Yeah, games like that are terrible. That's why when I'm second to last survivor, if the game is beyond saving and my teammate is just hiding, I'll walk up to the killer for a quick death. Better make hatch spawn than everyone losing time.

I've had people try and do that same thing when I was playing Legion (because imagine playing against Legion ! /s), but they forgot I could see them with killer instinct. I let the survivor who was still trying to do gens alive, just to use them as a tracker to get the stealthy peeps.

Props to you for playing Hag though. She's my second favourite killer to play, and I don't see enough of her as survivor.

To me, Hag is a killer that frustrating to play against, but really fun and satifying to play as.

Tho, even if you as a survivor don't like the killer design or gameplay, you have no rights to do so as I mentioned in title.

I didn't camp, I didn't tunnel, I didn't play scummy, why would they do that? Apparently, if you play certain killers you'll be treated like that, and it's not right.

It should be adressed to some survivors, killer player is just playing the game, if you don't like this killer or his/her gameplay, it's not the players falt. Don't hold the game like that, it's not fun, I'm not a fan of running from corner to corner, checking every locker and generators (which are 0%), braking my eyes watching every bush, spending 20-30min of searching in a match which is clearly over.

This is a clear toxicity. Without mentioning the end-game chat.

  • @ThiccBudhha said:

According to Behavior, you were actually holding them hostage. Defending gens is not your objective, apparently. If you do not let them survivors do a gen, you are holding the game hostage. It is known.

Fair enough. =) I might reconsider my actions next time. xD

  • @lagosta said:

At that point, they're playing against each other, not you. Just equip some on-demand tracking and you're good. Whispers is amazing in a situation like this, no activation requirements and you can easily pinpoint their location.

Yes, unfortunatelly, I haven't any aura reading perks, but whispers on hag?=) I mean, if it's only against such situations, I'd rather report them over a good perk slot. Besides, (off topic) imo hag don't need any aura reading, due to chase only in your web.

  • @Entitled_survivor said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3172409#Comment_3172409

stealthy survivors are hard to find anyway in most maps without auras, sucks hard when people do it ,,i'd honestly slug both for 4 minutes and give them smth like " hope you enjoyed kissing the ground for 4 minutes" and move on with it

As I did tho, I haven't hooked them, just left on the ground. I was actually angry as hell, I've never been so angry by the 1 match of this game for a really long time.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with survivors hiding, it's their work to avoid the killer. But I was thinking, what is the logic or point of their hiding?

I'm not a baby hag, not a single gen completed or being worked, 2 survivors are dead and I have a full web of traps with 4 generators in it. This match was clearly over, why would you prolonging the lost game anyway?

The answer is - frustrate the player and make him DC, coz "We don't like this killer", "Ha-ha imagine playing boring hag", "You such a stubborn F-k, why don't just leave".

The toxicity of some survivors in this game is just insane. And why it mostly survivors?

  • @Entitled_survivor said:

Holding the game hostage means the other side can't do anything BUT dc ,,at your case they were being immersed and hiding very well but you as killer weren't unable to do anything about it,,you just took ages to find them ,boring as it is it's not holding anyone hostage

These 2 guys was in discord (or other), they might saw me and just decided to hide untill I DC. In the end-game chat they clearly told me that they don't like hag, they were making fun of ME as a player for playing her, and actually told me that I "stubborn F-k" for not DCing. How F-ing pathetic is that?

I'm sorry but Garden of joy is not the map, that you can find them fast with hag (low profile and 4.4 speed) without any aura reading perks.

  • Absolutely agree.

But only if person left the match through ESC. Not coz he lost connection.

I'm not a fan waiting too long because of the servers or my internet got off for 10 sec.

  • No, don't touch this perk anymore.

I see you keep praising her addons and their diversity. Which is strange to me since my opinion differs 100% on that matter. Can you tell me why you think her addons are that great and,, change the gameplay of this killer".

Explain it with examples please, I have a list already why I think her addons are mostly horrible and boring.

Hello Michi, big fan of yours, watched and learned this killer from your guides, strongest and most fun killer to play as for me, big thank you and I hope you'll keep your work.=)

  • Dear OP, maybe you will not believe me, but the Hag right now is an S-tier killer at it's best.=)

If you're up against a strong hag main, with best addons and best perks for her, it might be even worse, than having a good nurse.

Hag doesn't care about map, doesn't care about survivor perks, doesn't care about swf, the only thing she care is a random spot of the 3-gen.

Btw guys, if you see hag places traps below the hooked survivor - this hag is unexperienced and might be just started learning process.=)

  • @Rogue11 said:

As expected, they took an interesting map and made it yet another tiny ass indoor map with 6 gens within the killer's terror radius. Great work..

Yes, the thing is... It's an indoor map with long and tiny corridors, the only thing you can do on them as a survivor is just hold W. -_-

Same thing have to do a killer as well, my last 2 matches on this map, not a single interresting pallet or loop, just hold W and go through God windows and drop pallets without a need for looking back. It was so boring...

Pallets in tiny rooms are either G-pallets that you have to brake, or 100% getting hit and go to tiny corridor - hold W for next 10-15 seconds.

    Not fun for any sides.

  • @skylustv said:

As a main killer I question myself this everyday

I really avoid to play with the Artist because most of the games I got 4k so easily or people just dc when I down them with crows on the first chase, it doesnt make any sense Artist be a 4.6 tbh comparing that Hag is a 4.4 with similiar power to counter loops, her crows are very opressive if used in the right way to counter windows/pallets

    If I can be short...

Artist will go down to D-tier if she will have 4.4ms due to her weakness. (Holding W)

Aside from Artist, Hag's weaknesses can be countered by addons and perks. (shackles and Franklins) Crouching against traps isn't really working... I can't even imagine the Hag's tier, if she was 4.6ms like Trapper...

To me, Artist is a good and healthy A-tier killer.

Hag is an S-tier killer if these addons and perks in use. In some situations she's even better than nurse.

  • Favourite - Nurse. Different playstyle, unique mechanic.

Least favourite - Freddy. Pretty boring, very weak.

  • @MommyHunktress said:

I will go out of my way to camp and tunnel each and every one i find. It is the easiest, most bs gameplay in my opinion. you make the killer waste all of his time and because he cant find you your teammates get juggled. its a selfish way to play and very unfair in my opinion. if my mmr is high enough to where i have to be on my toes at all time the fact someone can just hide is really annoying. I just had a girl working on a gen on dead daweg and go for saves but i could never freaking find her. its the worst feeling in the game

Sorry, I don't see any problems with that and I'm never getting mad with survivors do that. It's a good part of old dbd, good tactic to waste killer time. And getting mad on survivors for doing so is kinda weird to me. -_-

As a killer if you have troubles with that, some aura reading perks would help you. Be more attentive, thats all.

  • Personally, I play less since russia got blacklisted, my friends playing less as well.

Dead by daylight have a lot of stuff only available for auric cells (that we can't buy right now), so we just play less. -_-

Just waiting for things to get better.

  • Guys, situation right now changed, I don't see dc and suicides on hook as much as before.

Survivors are clearly adapting and playing more efficient now.

    This post lost relevance. Relax.

  • Thats right @PapaQuintus.

For fellow killer mains: I don't see survivors crying over DH really... So don't you dare guys. xD

On console oni does not turn as fast as on pc so he requires to be very accurate with nurse I can bit miss blink but I still get the hit as her lunge is insane and if I miss my first blink I always have second blink. Other example is blight his power is arguably games hardest but you can always play 115% m1 with him so he is not as punishing.

Ok, imagine nurse on console then? I don't think console or pc matters in our discussion tho.=)

If you'd say Billi or blight is harder, than I'd not argue, but Oni?=)

I can argue with that all day. Oni is no where near harder than nurse.

    (Now serious)

No vaulting anti-loop is something similar to doctor, but I don't like the idea of nerfing the hell out of S-tier killer.

Oni blood fury and pinhead chains requires more skill. I played nurse and she is easier to use than those 2 skills. Nurse is not punished enough missing blinks. I play on console so I imagine nurse is much easier on pc. Otzdarva is basically dbd expert so yeah people should listen his opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen his newest vid about nurse, I do agree with him in some points: range addons are disgusting, some perks on her disgusting. But reworking her ability, no thank you.

Make her blinks as a special attack and rework her range addons. Thats it, thats my opinion.

Remove the disgusting part about nurse.

Excuse me... Oni blood fury is harder than nurse blinks? So you played nurse and thinks her ability is easier than blood fury?=)

Well, I respect your opinion.=) Thats all I gotta say.

  • @TheArbiter said:

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but honestly I've had way more success personally on RPD as killer than on Pallet Factory. Does anyone else share the same sentiment as me? I feel like I win a lot more games on RPD than I do on The Game.

Well... Rpd got better for sure, but no. I'd rather have my head slammed on 923829 pallets, than surviving as a killer on rpd.

  • @Deathstroke said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3098618#Comment_3098618

That hard argument is weak one watch otzdarva video on nurse. Many other killers are harder and require lot more skill and map knowledge.

I don't think you should listen much of what others "thinks" about stuff, that you can check yourself.

  • @Akumakaji said:

    Here we go:

Nurse becomes a standard 4.6m/s killer. Her power is centered around stealing survivors breath. This is a targeted ability and "thrown" when she concentrated on her hand and retrieves the stolen breath to her.

When successful she will have to hold her own breath, gradually slowing down her speed to a minimum of 4.2m, she can take a breath again by tapping her alt power button, returning the stolen breath to the survivors.

While their breath is taken away survivors are exhausted and they cant fast vault, and maybe don't vault at all once nurse reaches her slowest speed.

The idea of new nurse is to somehow go down her old secondary theme of "taking looping away from survivors", without being as oppressive and breaking the game in twain.

So... She can't blink anymore, she doesn't have any anti-loop, she has weird useless ability that don't even dmging survivors, but making them... Exhausted...? And this ability even slowes her down?

    I mean... Bruh. xD

I did. A lot. I play both sides a LOT. I've been playing since 2017

My team mates are doing fine. Most are above 1k hours too. KIllers are also doing fine and it's mostly nurses, blights and huntresses.

"Nurses, blights, other S-tier" - aftermath of having tiers on killers. You can't phisically reach higher mmr with certain killers. Thats the part of bad balancing imo. Not the killer main issue.

  • @Marigoria said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3104809#Comment_3104809

I play crossplay off solo q on PC. There is no way to know your MMR.

You can't see numbers, but you can see the ammount of mistakes this survivor making.

As you know, better survivors don't make much mistakes.

  • Do you play high mmr soloq, or you never got there by any chance?=)

Killer was INSANELY stressfull before update on high mmr. Every single soloq survivors were running second chance perks, killer just couldn't phisically keep up with gen speed.

Are you sure about killer is easier than soloq? xD

All the killer was: Hoping for survivors to mess up, just for killer to have a chance of winning.

  • @GrimoireWeiss said:

It depends on the killer. My favorite killer is Ghostface and I still feel I need at least Surge on him. On stronger killers I prefer aura and chase perks.

  • When I'm nurse, I can play without regression perks.

When I'm sadako... No, thank you.
