Dont nerf keys but buff moris. Because mori was fun.
Moris were fun for exactly one person in the five person match.
Keys are fun for probably one person in the five person match, maybe more, but absolutely miserable for at least one.
Both bad, nuke 'em.

yet keys can break the game and you can find those in chests.
you even get wall hack add ons and add ons so you don't lose them
Sure, dunk Keys to the same level of Moris too.

Well Devs need to make mori useful again because it is waste of BP for now.
You get a cool kill animation.
You also get to bypass any potential saving methods if they're on death hook.
An offering shouldn't be able to break the game in half.

Dude, I wish.
But this isn't a videogame and it's actually real life apparently, so.

Or don't

Well,i watched 1 match of you playing Spirit on Dead Dawg Saloon (The VOD from 14 days ago).
And from what i can tell, you seem to do quite a lot mistakes
E.g
-Falling for Sprint burst baits/Dead Hard
-Kicking gens without any perk for it like Pop Goes The Weasel
-Poor power usage
-Rather poor decision making and game sense
So just from watching that 1 match i can already tell that there are a lot of things you can improve upon.
I can give you some advice and tips if you want to.
You like how you just got like
completely ignored?

Is this like, the third SWF complaint thread you've made today?

But why would David or Jeff realistically run from Legion or Pig? They’re just people in masks.
They're creepy looking psycho murderers with weapons.
I don't know why you keep putting Jeff in here and not like.. Bill or something, but fistfighting a murderer with a knife's usually a bad idea.

Ash? David? Jeff?
Ash, fair. Though I wouldn't say most of the things he fights are as insane as what the RE crew fight.
But what about David and Jeff? Jeff's just a dude and David scraps with normal people, not supernatural killers or giant bioweapon monstrosities.

I really like Ethan and wouldn’t be mad at all if he was the survivor, but he’s definitely not the only character that’d fit in DBD. How do Leon, Chris, Claire and Jill (to name a few) not fit?
The only problem I have with those four is how they turned into wisecracking ultrabadasses who go against monstrosities way bigger and badder than anything in DbD and always outfight them.
It's hard to imagine Chris "I punch giant boulders so I can beat the ######### out of Wesker" Redfield or Leon "The entirety of RE4" Kennedy running from the killer. Maybe if it was, like.. explicitly them in their earliest entries.
-
I'd like it if you stuck around on the hook to deny the facecamper as much as humanly possible, but at the end of the day, if you decide you actually wanna play the game you paid for, i'm not gonna blame you.

Use those 4 minutes to alt tab and cry in the forums about campers and tunnelers and sluggers, problem solved.
Hey man, I understand that slugging's a wholly viable strategy and you should go for it if it helps you win.
But bleeding out survivors out of sheer spite 'cause you suffer from a chronic case of assburn is holding up a big neon sign about how hard this game gets to you and it's #########' hilarious.

Cheating in this game is not determined by the developers of this game.

Spirit is fine. You don't NEED to know EVERYTHING the killer is doing. You both flip and coin and the winner comes out on top. Stop trying to exploit your smaller hitbox against objects and you'll be fine.
But the Spirit isn't flipping a coin.
They have footsteps. Scratch marks. Blood. Pain grunts. Breathing. At worst, they're rolling a d10 and lose the survivor on a 1.
The survivor has the game's permission to go 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀 themselves.

Git gud.

@RenTheCat said:
Why is this even a thing? How come all 4 survivors can split up, go into the corners of he map and start working on a gen? If you don't find anyone in 80 seconds that's 4 gens doing in ONE MINUTE (and 20 seconds). If you do find someone, in those big ass maps, then during one chase or just as you got the first hook you have 3 gens pop up.
You can't teleport around the map, you can't make chases take 1 second, you can't make the gen progress actually regress because Hex: Ruin spawn is a joke and kicking the gen doesn't do anything (And pop goes the weasel literally requires you to hook someone).
Then survivors claim there is no gen rush and that they are just doing their objective but their objective sure as hell isn't to take advantage of how it's more efficent for some reason to do gens alone (Instead of being the opposite so it encourages teamwork) and each one go on a gen in the corners of the map so the killer can't find you.
And why should anyone even bother with late game if all the totems will have been destroyed by then (since they spawn righ next to generators) and if the killer is trying to defend the last remaining 3 gens they will just find a key and leave through the hatch.
First off, they ARE "just" doing their objective. That's literally exactly what they're doing, efficiency or no. Genrushing is them literally having nothing else to do because the killer isn't forcing them to do anything else. Saying taking advantage of gens being more efficient split up isn't their objective is like saying making a 4v1 a 3v1 via tunneling isn't the killer's objective.
Lame? Sure. Forbidden? No.
I agree that people spawning separated next to a gen on Red Forest is a bullshit situation, and that people should always spawn as a group or in pairs of two (along with more condensed maps), but don't get upset with survivors for literally doing their sole objective.
-
I'll sacrifice any future NOED changes for everyone shutting the fresh flamin' hot ℱ 𝒰 𝒞 𝒦 up about it for the next foreseeable forever.
-
The solution to this problem is, and is always gonna be, more complex than just slapping on extra gen time or separating the queues.

I feel like Leon and Jill could kick the crap out of half the killers in the game even without a weapon, entity super powers be damned.
Why not, it takes an entity killer two kicks to break a wooden pallet but they are stopped by bushes and fences....those characters have fought things with just a knife that could throw cars lol.
Forget Leon and Jill, imagine Chris.
We haven't forgotten what he did to that boulder, right?

I bought him on day 1, that's why. There was no way to tell how he'd perform prior to that point.
After being BHVR'd by the Twins, everyone's really gotta reconsider buying these new killers day 1 with no info.

If they wanna pay for something let them.
And i'm not saying people can't buy what they wanna buy, i'm questioning if it's a good choice.
'Cause buying something with no info only to realize it's bad but wanting to get your money's worth ain't a fun spot to be in.

Because I paid actual money for this dlc and want to get any use out of it?
Why the hell did you pay actual money for this killer after everything literally everyone said?
-
Then all the good killers will just bully solo queue because there's literally nothing incentivizing them to do ranked.
-
They didn't nerf Freddy right, but they nerfed Freddy because my left braincell could 4K with slowdown addons on your typical Gamer Freddy™ build.
And balancing a nightmare like this isn't as easy as trickle down balance or just taking the words of streamers as god.

Trickster literally only can tunnel, his entire mechanic is based on that. And it's not my fault if the other survivors don't want to stick around until the very end of the match to eat hits for their teammate.
If trickster is so garbage and terrible that you have to turbo tunnel to do anything with him
why the hell are you playing trickster?

Survivors frequently say they have "no input" because not only drinking from Jund's punch, they're approaching Spirit like any other Killer and then crying when they get downed almost immediately.
You shouldn't be using your eyes, you should be using your ears and mind. Spirit is the literal definition of "mindgames", not the "double backs" and other little tricks done at loops.
I don't wanna have to open my mind's third #########' eye to have a potential chance of being able to make the right guess multiple times in a row against a killer.

I think all this tribe garbage is dumb and we should all just want a good solid game.

My favorite exhaustion perk is Dead Hard (for obvious reasons) but I agree, it definitely needs some tuning.
I remember there was a thread while back suggesting a small duration where the Survivor can't interact with anything after using Dead Hard. The fix could be something like "After you Dead Hard, for 2 seconds, you cannot interact with windows and pallets". That way you gotta time it better and it actually takes skill to use.
Pretty much.
Dead Harding for distance is the only part of the perk that's stupid and genuinely doesn't have counterplay. If you had an animation lock afterward that prevented you from throwing pallets or vaulting so you actually had to dodge an attack or eat the dirt instead of just getting to a window/pallet you shouldn't have, you could actually say "just bait it out".

Camping is an exploit.
It wasn't intended by the devs. They just happened to allow since it'll cause all the ruckus by the community.
Just like T-bagging is an exploit and moon-walking is.
Bubba was meant to be a one-shotable killer like Hillbilly, but people started to exploit that and devised a dumb strategy to camp.
Like I said, just because the devs allowed it to be "viable" it doesn't mean it's an intended result. Get that straight.
tbagging and moonwalking

This is terrible reasoning. How is the solo screwed by having a team of higher performing communicative SWF’s??? Are you saying that they are too stupid to compensate for their obvious advantage??
No, he's saying that the solo is being punished for being in the wrong lobby by going up against a superbeefed killer. If the SWF isn't seriously compensating for this and isn't just a bunch of friends casually goofing around, it's gonna be an even rougher game for him for the crime of wrong place wrong time.
I'm not sure if you've heard the stories or not, but SWF doesn't tend to be any kinder to solos than it is to killers.
-
Very well, allow me to psychically poll every survivor main with my titanic omnimind until we reach a consensus on why this happens.

As I keep saying
do whatever you want. If you like being nice, keep being nice. If you don't, don't.
You bought the game, do whatever you want with it.

That's fine because the only reason they don't open it and leave it at 99 so it doesn't trigger EGC so they are given time to collect garbage from the basement and help whatever friends that are hooked.
That's the only reason they 99 a gate.
But still even if they 99 a gate me opening the gate doesn't help either.
Gate regression with how gates spawn would make puppydog guarding the gates probably the saddest pastime in the world.
Imagine getting away from a doctor who keeps shocking you off the gates literally right next to eachother.
Or a trapper.
Or a hag.
Or a huntress with line of sight.
Maybe make the gates start to automatically open themselves at the last 5%. Other than that, the second best solution is what we have right now.

"what the hell do you want dude"
I literally said what I want, for gates to regress.
Then they're just going to open the gate instead of 99ing it and you'll have the exact same outcome anyway.
-
Finally, a worthy opponent.

@Lord_Tony said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2094626#Comment_2094626
that's counter intuitive and a bad idea in most cases
The problem: The gate is 99'd.
The solution: You open the gate.
If they couldn't 99 the gate: They would just open the gate anyway.
What the hell do you want dude.
-
@Lord_Tony said:

tunneling and camping has counterplay.
99ing a gate has zero counterplay
You open the gate.
-
If they can't 99 the gates, they're just going to leave.
If they did 99 the gates, they're still trying to make plays. Which means you can still make plays.
You'd be amazed how many times people don't make it back to that 99'd gate.
-
Remember what you're getting into before you respond, folks.

Entity strength is the only reason Bill can't just punch out the Legion.
