Reporting someone for farming with the killer after everyone died is not wrong, but I wouldn't unless I notice that survivor has been helping the killer throughout the game. If I see that, I report. If we all die but one and the killer is like "okay, you did nothing all game so I will let you farm some points", I'm okay with that. It's the killer's trial, their choice.

I feel his pain as a killer main its rough out here even when you play as nice as possible people still get aggresive over a game.
The worst part about it is the delusion they try to defend. You all die yet you get salty and call it an easy game... but you died... so, why didn't you do anything not to if it was that easy? PARADOX
-
The killer should be able to trigger the "Rematch" option. A pop-up would show in the survivor's screen and they would accept and re-join that lobby or go back to lobby hunting. If you're in a SWF group, all the members would have to agree, given that they joined as a pack.
-
My bf gets a lot of crap in the after-game chat... it's worrying to see people be so aggresive. He kills all 4 yet they call him a bad mf killer and they call it an easy game and I read that and I'm like "huh?" lol
Luckily we don't have that option on PS4.
-
@Shaped chill, man... you don't need to hijack every post with "surv biased nana nana nana" bs lol... believe it or not, posts like this are more useful than your ranting. Companies rely on feedback to change things, and feedback from people that are not really immersed into the game is more valuable to detect flaws or things that others that have been here for a longer time already take for granted. A "fresh" opinion is not biased, it's more objective.
@Zender I never understood how they allow Prestiged characters to automatically derank below their obvious expertise. I mean, if you already prestiged a character, let alone P3, that means you already have a certain amount of experience in the game and you shouldn't and couldn't go below rank 10, for example. My godson started playing a few weeks ago and he's rank 18 or 17 now, he keeps running into p3 Claudettes or Dwights.
@Condorloco_26 agreed. After you've gone thru your newbie schedule you're not to go back to facing newcomers ever again.

I play on PS4, but I also bought the game on PC back in April (along with a couple friends), when it was cheap. I pretty much only play on PC for the PTB, but I have around 80 hours, and have played quite a bit on the live servers. The first thing that we noticed once we got to some good ranks, was that most PC players are definitely not as good as they think they are.
As survivor, we would run circles around most of the PC players, and as killer, the survivors were just sad. Playing with keyboard and mouse is a freakin PITA, so I use a PS4 controller for both. By a PC player’s definition, I should be doing worse. I’m not saying that all PC players are like this, but the percentage is significantly higher than on PS4.
Also, on PS4 it is very rare to ever play against the same person more than once a month, usually 3-4 months, in the US. Only on 2 occasions in the last 2 years have I ever played the same person more than once on the same day. On PC, I would play with the same person several times in the same day, every day. So I’m guessing that there are significantly fewer players on PC, than there are on PS4.
Agreed. The so-called PC superiority was barely noticeable, if noticeable at all, when I played there.

U probably misunderstood him. It's no secret that console players will never reach the skill which is pc had because of controller limitations. I mean, the best killer on pc is the worst killer on console, that's already saying something. So I'm case we want to balance around high level play it's better to listen to experienced and skilled players from the pc environment. That doesn't mean console have no word. I just think pc players word weights more in this game.
And btw, it depends on the game. In a game like dark souls I would rather listen to console players than pc players because the controller allows you to do high skilled techniques which are not possible on with mouse and keyboard.
“Console players will never reach the skill blah blah” really? I play on PS4 because it’s more comfortable, and when I play on PC I even have a much better survival ratio than I do on PS4 and I could say I outplay the other survivors too

All of you are something else.
So if you were on the hook and have to hold against one of the entities tentacles, you would get tired and eventuality let go or slip, that's what this mechanic does, if you start to get tired pressing your struggle button or slip, that's it.
And also, I don't know why you guys are mashing your key, lmao no wonder you guys are going though keyboards, not because of the game, but because of you. Its like you guys are told to play the piano softly, but instead you just smash the notes and blame it on being pressured.
Instead of going SMASHSMASHPRESSPRESSMSASHPRESPRESSPRESSSMASH
Just go Press, press, press, press, press
I have issues with my tendons and I sometimes have to let go because it hurts. That’s why I can’t enjoy fighting games, let alone hack’n’slash or any of those adventures games where you fight 1000 guys at the same time (Spiderman for example)

I’m not a new player and I’m already crying at how much my bf and I will have to grind when the game releases for Switch. Hopefully we can cross-platform our accounts.

it's the stream sniper's fault that they're stream sniping, not the streamer
a streamer isn't telling you to go to their stream while playing against them
obviously, punishing for this isn't really possible, but shifting the blame from the stream sniper to the streamer is not constructive
Well, I run into a lot of xxx_twitch guys for an in-game name -.-

If the in-game reporting worked as intended, a lot of toxicity would be toned down. I just in-game reported two survivors for helping the killer. I had done so in the past too yet they're still there. I know, and I'm sure, I will be seeing them again later today and tomorrow and the day after, because nothing happens. If you go into a game and survivors are helping the killer find you and kill you, then it's no fun. And since nothing is done, people think they can get away with it. People even celebrate such behavior. They go into forums, into FB groups and talk about how "cool" they are just because they help killers kill other survivors. And I've submitted tickets and lots of in-game reports and those players are still there and I run into them every now and then. Should I "find" a new game simply because people are breaking rules and nothing is being done? Now everyone is using SB again. I see SB in 2 or 3 survivors per match. Nothing is going to be done either. I'm not trying to preach, but there's a limit to things. I don't care if people are potatoes or pros. I care about people being a-holes and getting away with it, because there are a lot of people that love this game and end up leaving for a new game because if you play "lawfully" you die, if you cheat and troll and abuse bugs, you will most likely escape.

That would be the reasonable assumption.
Indeed, I would change the Status to Vulnerable or "You're screwed, man"

Oh, two days ago I learned that I could escape with a rbt on my head after the doors had been powered/open without dying.
-
I thought you could only be healed if the other person had a medkit so I never stuck around after I was hurt.
A friend told me flashlights were meant to be used to go into the basement because it was dark and that you could find something to defeat the killer there. So when I saw flashlights I thought "man, these are the brave guys in the team"

You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.

Jeff and Jane are big. Or do you want fat like obese survs? Wouldn’t it be hard to crouch all the time without having a backbone paralysis? Or how would you hide behind trees?

I don’t play male survivors because they are big and groan way too much... but I’d tap some Jake while David is watching.

Thank you @AetherBytes@AetherByters
I meet some of those, @Gorgonia, sometimes your intention is save a survivor but due to the closer hooks distance and some campers, sometimes looks like you are farming when you only try to help. My brother was accused for farming because he unhooked a lot of survivors with a killer who was camping, he even took some of the hits but as I said, sometimes your intentions are good but in the reality you can't help. And since camping/tunneling is a "game strategy" for the devs, we can't do much about this.
And yes I agree, is a strategy, but not a healthy one, not for a game like this. Of course killer main will complain about how toxic survivors gets and they are right but that doesn't justify that they need to camp every survivor.
@Saitamfed One thing is to unhook vs a camping killer, another thing is to deliberately unhook when the killer didn't even have chance to go away
-
If you run after the killer to unhook someone right after they were hooked you didn't even give the killer the chance to camp. I had three games where survivors ran after the killer to unhook right after the hook and that ended up with two or three people downed all in the same spot. The killer was handed the game in a silver plate. In all 3 of them games I was the last survivor with 5 gens up. It ruins the game for me. I want to be able to do things and not join in on a game to leave 3 minutes after with 6k bps.
-
I‘m starting to hate it too. Games are over in less than 3 or 4 minutes because they seem to want to screw up. And I'm in red ranks, not playing with potatoes... or so I would like to think..

Not going to say you're wrong but I wonder the same when I go into a casual game to have fun and the killer is so try-hard it makes me want to bully them.

People didn’t always downvote unpopular opinions. They downvoted users they don’t like or downvoted to express annoyance at a certain topic that agreed with the post itself. Kind of like “I hate gf”. Yeah, I hate it too, I will downvote this \o/

The problem with downvoting was that people either abused it or used it incorrectly.
