But even then, dbd takes the cake.
Dude i hated that Chalice. That dog had me on the verge of breaking down in tears. Amy was just a long tense 30 minute battle.

Well obviously killers will say none. No one cares what they think. I’m talking to those who play both and to survivors. Thanks though and god bless.
You shouldn't ask for opinions if you're going to be rude when someone states theres.
-
Survivors equal 4 times the money compared to a killer in the devs eyes. So they want to appease the bigger player base.

I seen a Yui the other day intentionally tey to get the plagues attention the other day by sliding across the pallet. But the Plague ignored her so yui dced.

Oh yes, I have imagined them on indoor maps like Lery's... They're so small that windows become a bane to survivors since jumping through one means that they lose their advantage line of sight with them, which gives them much more freedom to move around. In more open maps like the rotten fields and Crotus Prenn asylums disturbed ward, they are still a decent threat, but on indoor maps is where they'll shine as a significant terror the most. Their mechanics are heavily built around making them ambushers, and that would undoubtedly show the most on indoor maps. I can imagine many DC's from survivors if they go up against this killer when the map is Lery's, Hawkins, or the Game, but still, that's just a natural advantage they'll have in their design. Honestly, 3 maps where they have all the advantages out of 29 total, is not that bad imo.
Yeah. I really like this idea. And if we cant see it in dbd i wouldnt mind seeing it in another game.

This game could use a few more Scares imo, and I'm glad that you like it despite your Pediophobia (fear of dolls). Does the Red Light, Green light, or "Weeping Angels" aspect conceptually satisfy you as an in game mechanic? Tbh, many have said they like this idea, but I don't know if in reality it would be a good mechanic to add to the game. The entire reason I made them move 6 meters per second instead of the standard 4.6 is because they can be stopped in place by a survivor looking at them. Like the "Weeping Angels" they move fast to close distance as soon as you take your eyes off of them, but you can still stop them in place, and that was the goal I was trying to achieve in order to give them a heavy enough advantage in most situations to make up for the disadvantages of their mechanic.
I think it would honsetly be a great addition to the game. But the problem would be balance. I think the game in its current state right now is not balanced enough for them. That being said i definetly agree they could add a new sense of terror to this game. Imagine these on lerrys.
-
Ok No lie this would be amazing. But also terrifying. Dolls scare me lol

Your quick response is heartwarming, but I'm not going to spell it all out here. Give the link a read, and if you don't have the time to read the full version, I also included a TL;DR version in it to give you and others the basic idea of how the killer works. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it, and will leave constructive comments about it in the post I linked for you.
Will do thanks man

Unrelated to the post but it's Funny you should mention Doctor Who when I made a killer concept based on the "Weeping Angels" as an in game mechanic:
Don't let the introductory text or the fact that its a "Doll killer" dissuade you. I think you'll enjoy the read, and hopefully leave a constructive criticism of it in the comments for it. It's kinda my baby, and although this is a shameless plug for it, I beleive that people like you would enjoy having it as a killer the most in this game. Especially since the devs seem to have run out of ideas recently, and are making killers that are just "hybrids" of other mechanics they already have in game (GF being a combination of Pig+Shape, and Oni being another combination of Hillbilly+Shape).
Oooh please tell me the concept. I love weeping angels

I always laugh when the team gen rushes and then get downed by Noed. Im just sitting there collecting my bloodpoints from escaping and specating them as they all die.

None. Maps need fixed before anymore nerfs on both sides.

Killer is too frustrating to play as, and survivor is too boring to be worth the queue time.
Also the poor quality of patches in the last 6-12 months and poor communication from BHVR CM/devs on important issues made quit several times. But now will leave for good because it simply isn't fun to play either side, horror factor is non existant (in a horror labeled game) and the archive/rift are not even generating enough motivation in me to keep playing.
Great Name. I love that Doctor Who episode

I've never understood that. The survivor is already at a disadvantage. Some killers see them as an easy target I guess. To me, that's preying on the weak, and preying on the weak shows your own weakness..
I really don't get it. She literally has built in slowdown to an extent and anti tunnel and people still tunnel them into the dirt.
-
The problem is people keep fighting amongst themselves with this survivor vs killer mentality. We shift the blame to the other side instead of uniting and admitting the actual faults of the game. Unite together and explain to the devs what is actually the problem. It all boils down to the maps.

I agree they need to cut back on chapters and fix their game. However they dont make money for fixing things. They do make money with DLC cause they can sell that to us -.-
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1046878#Comment_1046878
I have no faith in these devs and every patch further reminds me why. I don't trust them to properly rework Billy. Id rather they stop nerfing the good killers and buff the ######### out of the weaker ones.
This is true but they make enough money off cosmetics and the battle pass to take a break from doing a chapter to iron out the game.
-
Oni is pretty fun to go against. A good Demo is fun to.

Just make maps not have an insane amount of loops and I'd be a universal killer buff.
They need to fix maps, dedicated servers need lots of work, all the bugs need ironed out. Take a break from chapters for a chapter and do some hardcore game fixing. Bandaids only take you so far.
-
If i see a p3 Claudette i already know shes either really good or really useless.
-
I think the nerfs need to stop for now. They need to address the core issues of the game. Then make buffs and nerfs from there.

If we're talking about actually living, probably Jake. He used to live out in the woods, so he's got the skills to survive.
In terms of getting chased, that would be a different story.

Disregarding people like Ash and Laurie who have the power of being a movie protagonist magically enhancing their survival skills—I would say Jake, since this is his element. He’s never gone against psycho killers, sure, but being an off-the-grid survivalist, the dangers of the wilderness would be a good preparation tool. He’s had about as much practice as he can receive for a situation like this, and he’s entirely accustomed to it.
I love the name dude

I think the most explicit piece of evidence that Michael gets off on killing is in the first movie. Two key scenes. First the double whammy kill of Bob and Lynda in the first movie. After he murders Bob he stands there staring at the corpse, tilting his head from side to side like he's admiring a beautiful painting.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/789/I6MLDQWZNQEV.jpg
Then he goes and disguises himself as Bob wearing a ghost sheet, and toys with Lynda by pretending to be Bob before murdering her.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/924/6MS1G486ZH6Z.png
The final one is when Laurie discovers her friends' dead bodies in the upstairs bedroom of the house. Michael has put them on display, like they are some great work of art he has done. He even uses his sister's head stone (which he stole from the cemetery earlier in the movie);

This is a guy who loves what he does.
Don't forget being mere feet from Lynda and Bob making out on the couch.

He sacrificed himself against a horde of tanks, whilst he killed other tanks before his death
With his knowledge of firearms and everything else he learned in the military, he would easily last a long time here
True but he has no guns. I honestly think Bill would die at some point sacrificing himself to save another.

I guess the problem is I see Ghostface and the Clown as people, where I see Myers as a creature or monster and similarly to the reason I excluded Demodoggy from the list is why I might be excluding Myers. I just don't see him as human enough to be "evil"
Fair point. Michael is pure evil in the flesh. This version of Ghostface is the only one i find to be pretty evil. The other ones were all revenge based. I do think Doctor is pretty evil. Dude tortured people to death while laughing.

after the switch release they can work on it again but I think it's back in limbo hell? I know for a bit they were.
They can do patch notes, bug fixes, and things to that extent. They just can't add new content until the lawsuit settles.
