I play him sometimes with the silent bell add-on. The speed boost nerf doesn't matter if they don't hear you coming anyway.
-
BuT sHE hAs thE LOwESt kILl RaTe!!!1!1!

My theory is they don't show perks in pre-game because it would increase dodging. Oh you're not running a meta build? Dodge. Don't have all your perks Tier 3? Dodge. Only running 3 perks because you're going for adept? Dodge. No Mither players would never get into a match again haha.
-
Someone goes down early at basement vs. Hag/Trapper/Leatherface? gg
Team does all gens on 1 side of a map like Azarov's? gg
All my teammates get slugged at 5 gens? Yeahhh, gg. I'm playing for hatch.
-
It's simply outclassed. You can only run 4 perks, and other healing perks are just better than Desperate Measures. It could use a buff.
-
The RNG gods giveth and taketh away.
-
Let's all be thankful Hag is rare. Playing vs. her is rarely a good time.
-
Personally, I've stopped running it as a solo. I'd rather bring a medkit and free up the 4th perk slot for DS/BT.
-
Who says she's high A-tier? I thought she is generally considered high B.

Here's hoping their changes to facecamping gut leatherface camping god it would be amazing after 4 years
I would actually start playing more if they finally addressed LF. Like 20-25% of my matches in my last session were camping Bubba. It's just completely non-interactive and makes me want to play anything else instead.

I see Shelter Woods hate, I upvote.

Head On is the worst imo.
Smash Hit imo. At least Head On doesn't require burning a pallet.
-
Overcome is just bad. The fact that it requires you to be healthy kills it. There are so many situations where healing is not an option. Plus, you might face an insta-down Killer or Plague/Legion. Or if you happen to get tunneled, which happens a lot, then you get to use Overcome literally only one time. Meanwhile, Sprint Burst is useable anytime and vs. any Killer. Easy choice.
-
Yep, I hate it. They could just leave and let everyone move on to the next match, but they'd rather gloat and waste everyone's time. It's just childish.
-
I often run Head On, so Iron Maiden is the bane of my existence.

have instigators come to realize that saying "lightborn is OP" isnt spicy anymore, so now Iron Maiden is the new hip thing?
Apparently.

It's not being changed. Nurse has already been reworked. There are only so many ways to modify a teleport and with large maps range is one of the few and viable ways to create a worthwhile add-on.
Cope.
Range add-ons are fine, but the numbers are too high. Compare to Pyramid Head who also has range add-ons. His green rarity adds 1.5m and the yellow rarity adds 1m. Meanwhile, Nurse's purple adds 6m and the green adds 4m. Being able to attack 10 extra meters in any direction is massive and pushes her into overpowered territory.
-
It's the hallways. It takes an eternity to catch up as an M1 Killer. Survivors just have to hold W and it's gg.
On the flip side, certain Killers really excel because of their powers (Nurse, Doctor, Hag) and feel borderline unfair. Plus, even though there are a couple god-pallets, most of the pallets are super unsafe and easily mind-gameable.
I could keep going, but I think you get the gist. It's a beautiful map, but it just plays terribly.
-
It definitely needs a buff, but it's not an easy fix. Buff the timer to 60-80 seconds and the Killer would just face-camp while Survivors can't do anything but watch. It probably needs a rework entirely.
-
Despite its low pick-rate, it's pretty good. Generally only sweaty players tend to run it, usually in swf. Part of the reason its so good is the surprise factor. Killers pretty much never expect it and will hit you for a speed boost. It can easily turn the tide of a match, especially late-game.
All that being said, I hardly ever run it myself since I play solo. You have to pray you get slugged and pray a teammate actually picks you up to use it. Unless you wanna run Unbreakable too, but then you're burning 2 perk slots for a situation that might not happen. I'd rather run something more consistent. But it is fun!

Spine Chill :)

I imagine the anticipated nerf has increased its popularity even more recently.

I mostly play Bubba
I just saw the username haha. Never mind then.

Do you mostly play Survivor? Don't quote me on this, but I thought I heard it tends to give you dailies for whichever side you play less.

Ringu is not a "significant licensed chapter".
But this discussion is pointless. Players WANT to see this game dying. They always ignore the fact that the RE-Chapter caused an anomaly with way more players playing than usually. The numbers are basically corrected to the normal number of players in this game.
Other games are also not dying when their big hype is over. They just adjust to a normal value.
Been saying this from the start of these discussions. Resident Evil brought in a record amount of people, so of course there were going to be big losses when the player base re-stabilized. I think DBD will never really die until it's no longer supported. A rock-solid amount of us simply love the game and stick around despite its flaws.
-
As you said, the penalty only made sense with original Legion. This was just one of several reasons I gave up on Legion. Hopefully the upcoming revamp makes them fun again, because as it is, the character is more or less just a cosmetic dispensary for the weebs.
-
Eh, Scratched Mirror was never very good before boons either. The fact it requires a map offering to even have a chance at winning makes it pretty bad.

Agreed. He is carried by his 2 strong add-ons. Infinite Tier 3 and Tombstone piece. Tombstone piece is the ONLY thing he has going for him at this point.
Oni, Twins and Bubba slug better
and He is definitely going to be overshadowed by Ghostface with his upcoming changes.
This is exactly the issue. Tombstone Piece and Fragrant Tuft of Hair are crazy good and likely inflate his kill rate. I wouldn't mind seeing them knocked down a peg so Myers' base kit could get some love.
-
While we're at it, Huntress, Plague, Nemesis, Demogorgon, Artist, and Oni could all use some sound adjustments. (Also delete Hillbilly's roar plz devs)
-
What's wrong with Head On? It's certainly weaker than Dead Hard and Sprint Burst anyway. I think it's one of the more fun perks in the game to play with and against.
Also, they had 1 boon perk and it wasn't even COH, so not a big deal.
-
Honestly, 90% of offerings are meh for me. I've leveled-up all the characters I want, so don't need BP offerings. Map offerings almost feel like sanctioned cheating lol. Mist offerings are barely noticeable, luck offerings are mostly pointless. So I just don't even bother most of the time.
-
People will still DC even if we increase the ban time. We also don't want to overly punish players who genuinely had a disconnect.
-
Standard 4 slowdown build works fine. They're one of the best Thana users in the game as well. For fun, try Bamboozle. The vault speed feels amazing.
-
Most boring map in the game by far.
-
Huge Saw fan, but I honestly never liked Hoffman's character. He's first introduced in Saw 4, which I consider to be the start of the downward trend for Saw. The story became a tangled mess and only the traps themselves were of any interest. The first 3 movies were probably the best, and Hoffman wasn't in those.
This is just my opinion of course. I'd want a Dr. Gordon skin if anything.

Parental Guidance and Smash Hit pretty strong combo. You should try.
It's not very good. Smash Hit is bad because you have to burn a pallet to use it, and if you miss the stun you get nothing. Parental Guidance does nothing to change that. It is fun though.
Anyway back to the OP, I honestly don't know how they could change Dead Hard properly. Just removing the distance part doesn't really solve the issue since you can still dodge a Huntress hatchet or a Nurse blink, etc. I know they said they're addressing Dead Hard at some point, but more than likely they'll add some extra restriction rather than nerf the mechanic itself. Just my speculation, anyway.
-
Oh are you the guy that slugs everyone and just goes AFK, wasting everyone's time? End the game FFS.
-
The funny part is I've seen certain profanity slip through. Yet plenty of harmless words get censored.
-
Ooo you guys should ping Almo. I know he believes Pig is A-tier.
-
Imo Billy was way easier to play before his rework. And I don't mean the overheat mechanic. They messed with his animation when starting a chainsaw sprint and he's never felt the same. Now it's way too easy to over-rotate the camera and miss. I can't be the only one who noticed this, right?
-
Lotta people defending quick-scoping in here. It was absolutely a problem and 100% a deserved nerf, and I say that as someone who played Deathslinger a ton. The only problem is they didn't buff him in other areas to compensate. Give him some mobility and/or map pressure and he would be fine (Also increase his ADS sensitivity for pete's sake).
-
I'd rank her B-tier vs. solos and C-tier vs. SWF.
-
Just my opinion, but Blight should not be able to turn 90° regardless of input. He is supposed to bounce from point to point, but the insane turns he can do break his kit.
-
Yes. Anyone saying the perk is fine is not considering that the pick rate is next to 0%. There's no reason to use BL when DH and SB exist. Heck, I even see Head On more than BL.
-
Genrush is boring haha gib upvote plz /s
As a Corrupt user myself, I also think it's boring af. It's a necessary evil unfortunately.
-
To be fair, just doing gens and leaving is incredibly boring. Not to mention you barely get any points for it. So I don't really blame people for trying. Be mad at the face-camper instead. They're the one ruining the match.
-
I like the idea, but 2 minutes is too long. Maybe 45 seconds to start and test from there.
-
How about we start by deleting 3 or 4 of the variations? It's absurd that we have 5.
-
I mean, against a good Nurse or Blight, Dead Hard is practically necessary to have a chance. But yeah, it's overkill vs. other Killers.
-
In SWF, yes. In solos, you just have to pray your teammates slam gens. Half the time at least 1 teammate will just sit by the hook and watch.

Sometimes true, sometimes not. And some of the band aids fall off real quick. I remember the fear of Dragon’s Grip with Blight’s release, how many times do you see that perk run now? Nothing from Artist and Jonah really bandaged anything up, nor does it appear so for this Ringu chapter.
Honestly I was being kinda dramatic. Certainly the majority of perks that come out are not meta whatsoever. But each DLC tends to have 1 perk that's worth having, so even if I don't like that Killer, I buy them anyway. I only got artist, pinhead, nemesis, and trickster just because of 1 perk I wanted. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Side note: I would love to see Dragon's Grip buffed.
