kinda funny how you didn’t even mention Chris. Which is also funny ‘cause not even Capcom knows what Chris Redfield actually looks like.

It's sad, but you have to get used to it in this game, Cheaters are a respectable source of income for the studio.
When you consider that 60,000 cheaters were banned in 2022 alone and to this day there is no automated system, but can only be banned based on obvious video footage created manually + ticket, that's amazing.
In the end it's about money, we're not talking about Larian here.
you can’t honestly think any studio wants cheaters to prosper in their game?
If it gets out of hand, your main source of income, the casual playerbase, leaves outright.
Not to mention that it spits in the face of years of work.
-
A shame, but not at all unexpected, I suppose.
Damn they had a real good opportunity to tease it on friday the 13th too. Ah well
-
Most likely, yes. Since these aren't limited-time or licensed.
-
It may help a little bit, but it feels out of place.
I still think doing the opposite, applying a hindered penalty on a trapped survivor, would make more sense and would make him at least a bit more consistent.
-
I have to ask... is there any killer you consider a resounding success?

Remove the ability to look up and down as killers
I was thinking more about how pyramid head does it. Or doesn’t, rather.
But yes, while we’re at it, remove the killers’ ability to walk backwards too.
-
The only way to remove teabagging outright is to remove the crouch altogether.
and even then the spirit of the teabag will manifest into something else.
shall we stop all killers from nodding too?
-
I mean, Renato and Thalita started this trend. The RE survivor are a special case ‘cause there’s 4 of ‘em and they’re licensed.
Vittorio came immediately before them.
-
From Clown onward, all killer Rite dailies just use the killer’s nickname.
-
The short of it is that it comes from the term Gentleman Scientist, and my previous username WishIHadAFridge.
Essentially, a GentlemanFridge is a refrigerator that does its thing without being associated with a household.
A Fridge on the run, if you will.

Wonder if this has anything to do with DbD Mobile shutting down in Austria

I cant believe thats the only map where we didnt get the graphics upgrade yet.
like what is even the reason for that??????
New maps every chapter starting with Forged in Fog.
Also, it’s been confirmed to be coming early 2024. Likely the next Mid-chapter.

But why? He'd literally just be Deathslinger.
I dunno. Not saying I want him, or any MK character that matter.
I just thought I‘d mention it, since people are making the same kind of theories with Blumhouse.
-
they really be giving us more info on a twitter thread than on the actual AMA
-
We’d need to see it happening to say for sure, but that sounds sus, at least.
The Huntress may also have lobbed a hail mary before she picked up Jake.
-
Massive stretch, but was this inspired by Town of Salem 2?
Y’know, like how the Prosecutor role works?

I had stopped reporting people because I figured it was pointless. They don't enforce their own rules.
However, when they announced this change, I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and resumed the reports. Out of dozens of submissions, I haven't received a single response.
So, no, they still don't enforce their own rules.
Dozens seems a bit extreme of an amount. What kind of behaviour are you encountering?

please look up tufted titmouse anatomy.

It’a kinda wild, but BHVR now has an established relationship with Warner Brothers and NetherRealm. Ie., Mortal Kombat.

what im wondering is who does his manicure??

Without his armor, he could be stabbed.

not your taste =/= low quality

I'd say this happened indirectly. As mentioned by others, tunnelling was already a thing with the 5-second stun. Nurse, for one, didn't give a damn.
What did happen however, was that a lot of people gave tunnelling a shot because the anti-tunnel perk was dead according to the community. They noticed just how effective it could be, and saw no reason to go back.
Going back to a 5 second stun discourages tunnelling, sure, but by no means is it going to put a stop to it. Tunnellers are, by definition, tunnelvisioned, and being hit with a DS is only going to delay them.

If I bring in a med-kit with just that add-on, can I use the purple agent if my med-kit is empty? As in like I already healed myself once.
No, ‘cause an empty medkit cannot be used.
you need to be healing (as in, holding M2, or your equivalent of that) to receieve the prompt to use it.

excuse me sir/madam this is highly inappropriate

Uhh
this cat ive encountered in the wild has decided i am his bed

albatross chick

Afraid not. With add-ons, his TR becomes positively tiny, though.

Asking for a refund is a sign of customer dissatisfaction. Do you really think people who feel this way will stick with this game?
Also I have an extremely hard time thinking you would be singing this song if your favorite 3 characters were removed along with all your purchases for them. Classic “it’s fine if it doesn’t affect me” mindset you have going.
Mind you, my former main, Sadako, has been Freddy'd. It has happened to me.

Someone doesn’t know the difference between a legal argument and a customer satisfaction one.
They gutted her to stop survivor discontent and gave nothing to compensate. People paid money for a character and her skins, now she doesn’t even have a functional power.
Why would anyone want to spend money in the future on killers when this can happen so blatantly?
That can happen in any and all live service games. It’s the nature of the beast, and quite literally unavoidable when the game has become as large as DbD.
The question is about an in-game currency refund. Not only is that highly unlikely due to no actual money being involved, but BHVR is also not obligated to do so at all. In the EULA, it flat-out states they can and will make changes to existing content whenever they see fit. Customer satisfaction is irrelevant, a refund just isn’t happening.
Besides, there’s nothing saying Merchant isn’t going to see buffs. Especially when the reception has been a unanimous “she’s weak”.
Moreover, the customer should be aware that changes can happen at any point. It’s negligent on the consumer’s end to assume the content they purchase is never going to change.
-
No idea what you mean, but by how you’re describing it makes it seem like a bug.
-
Someone didn’t read the EULA.
-
Nah. Remember that Kindred also shows your teammates to each other, so it isn't solely a facecamping counter.
@rvzrvzrvz said:
Is anti camp thing even going live ? last time they scrapped anti slug PTB
The anti slug thing was vastly more impactful on the game as a whole than the anti-facecamp measure. They stated from the get-go that the anti-slug thing wasn't going to live straight away, if at all.
-
Had a p100 claudette who couldnt for the life of her hold a chase. Like, avoiding pallets kind of deal.
unable to confirm playtime due to a private steam profile, but the suspicions were strong.
-
Mind, it's only 24 meters. It's a also a lot quieter than your actual terror radius, and doesn't increase in intensity at all. More often than not, survivors just don't hear you at all. And when they do, you're already a lot closer than they might've thought.
-
I mean, since the prestige overhaul I only have the generic perks left to unlock, if I don’t have them all on all my characters already.
Now, I focus on getting new characters to P3. By then, I’d have to actively avoided perks to not have them all.
Perks come first, above all else. Then healing stuff and specific add-ons on killers, then BP offerings. Beyond that, when I feel like I play the minigame to have the Entoty consume as many nodes as possible. Usually it’s just the big red button in the middle, though.
-
It's him

Conveniently skipping Nostromo, I see.

I'd rather we get a map blocker that locks out the previous 2 maps that each player in the lobby has play on. There is plenty of map variety, we just need a system that promotes them.
That has been implented.
at least, it's guaranteed for the next game. Its chances of appearing are then increased gradually over the course of 4 (?) games. Barring map offerings.
And also green wards, for some reason.
-
They did mention a killer named The Snail in that survey a month or so ago...
-
can confirm it works. My apologies.

Hey @GentlemanFridge ,
I just want to confirm for the report, you indeed had no HUD prompt to apply Blast Mine to an active, progressed-on generator when standing up next to it (as you can no longer apply while repairing a generator).
wait I completely misread this. I wasn't aware you need to let go of the gen to apply it.
Just a moment as I confirm, though.

The Devs said in their Sneak Peak of the Patchnotes on Discord that they will roll out a Hotfix for the Flashlights. If and when it comes was not said.
Ah, thanks. I gave that a miss thinking it was just discussing things we already knew.
-
Presumably flashlights will be reenabled once the Mid-Chapter update goes live. That'll be roughly 3 weeks from now.
-
why the need for an announcement?
ah- you left.
just one of those indecipherable thing of life, I suppose.
-
It’s not going to be available for shards.
-
I’ve noticed that the bots have perfect reactions to certain killers. Perfectly timed dodges when it comes to projectiles, meaning that you are simply not hitting a bot at long rangeg in the open with Huntress and Slinger
They can just see Wraith,
Singularity cannot tag a bot unless they have nowhere to hide. They know precisely where to stand to remain in sight, but not be taggable.
And by god they are nearly impossible to catch out at L-T walls.
But then they also get stuck vaulting Z-windows and have really weird general pathing sometimes.
Also they’re absolute gods at flashlight saves, in the rare case they do go for them.

@Akumakaji said:
It's still in the game, but got replaced with the numbers of kills you get. It's supposed to allow you to get merciless ratings, and thus do adept challenges, even in the higher ranks by getting a 4K, which was basically impossible under the old system, as you needed 4 iri emblems in one game to get a merciless rating in iri ranks.
They mean that it's not appearing at all.
which is a bug.

Wait, so there's other perks that just fo one or the other?
You'll find the single effects usually come from Add-ons. Take Xeno's for example:
