I mean, on gens only, and only on M1 downs.

Any Means Necessary: Press and hold the Active Ability button for 0,3 seconds while standing beside a dropped Pallet to reset it to its upright position.
Reset the pallet faster than the killer is stunned!
Machine Learning: Performing the Damage Generator Action on a Generator activates Machine Learning. While Machine Learning is active, the next Generator you damage becomes compromised, highlighting its Aura to you in yellow, until it is completed.
Upon its completion, you are granted the following effects until the next generator is completed:
Undetectable Status Effect
+10% Haste Status Effect

As I've said before but want to preface with it again <3 I am a Community Moderator here on this Forum, a player here since in-between the release of Nurse and The Shape into the game. And I too, use the report system as everyone here does.
I have in the past used it many times, including for things under Griefing (as well as Communications Abuse, Unsportsmanlike Conduct outside of DCing, to name a few). With the required in game report, the match is flagged, as well as the player(s) in question (even if not on the same platform, or are anonymous), and the ACMs can review data from the match. Even if you don't have video evidence (which is immensely helpful, or even Required with some type of reports), a Ticket just to give an account of the match to coincide with the data can help as well.
At the end of the day, no punishment is given without evidence of wrongdoing. Many report cases can be handled with the information from the match itself, but some may, or do, need more than that. And it is optional because if you do have evidence or wish to relay context/your PoV of the match, you are welcome to do so.
Hey, thanks for answering. I realise I may have come across as blunt so my apologies for that. No offense was intended, was mostly just curious if you knew more than us.
I guess having evidence will always be the most important part, but it’s still not entirely clear to me precisely what Support is able to see and act upon without it. But I suppose you may not know either.
Regardless, have a nice day!

If the person does it constantly and got like dozens upon dozens of ingame reports from different players, I'd imagine they'd take action then, but failing that, no, they won't do anything because it could just as easily be a salty player false-reporting.
Exactly. So then saying it’s optional to submit a Support Ticket, meaning it’s not necessary, is just not true. You have to submit evidence through a ticket or hope a lot of other players had similar experiences. For chat abuse it’s understandable, that’s easily logged and plainly visible, but other than that…
Also, the mass-reporting thing is dangerous. If that’s actually the case, they better know what players are content creators ‘cause they’re inevitably going they get tons of reports on them if it becomes known that’s how it works.

It is absolutely reportable if a Survivor works with a Killer to gain an advantage or grief teammates. This requires an in-game report (REQUIRED), with a Support Ticket being optional. And even though optional, a Ticket, especially with video evidence (if able), can be very helpful to the ACMs when reviewing the situation.
If you wish to review the Game Rules and reporting process, you can view them here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/139-game-rules
Genuine question here. You all say the Support Ticket is optional, but is there actually any chance of action being taken if you don't submit a Ticket? Obviously I don't know what Support is able to see, but since they absolutely need video evidence to make the call, which they cannot acquire themselves, I have to wonder if saying it's "optional" is entirely accurate.

Gay Little Rainbow Birb is their official title, but I think Fridge gave her a shorter nickname somewhere
The name didn't really catch on, and I kinda forgot about it myself so it's kinda just been Rainbow Birb or Gay Little Birb
this would be a prime opportunity, however

It's that simple.
that’s a rather big pool of players you’ll “never fully respect”

@mizark3 said:
This is a very common ASD train of thought. Forced artificial social gestures feel empty at best, and a bald-faced lie at worst. That is all 'gg' is. The artificial social gesture to more accurately say "the match is over and I didn't hate every moment". I hate all of these forms of artificial shorthand social gestures, and I'd much prefer stuff like "best of luck futures". That at least comes from a desire for the other people to have a good time. An exchange of "gg"s is more like an Oblivion NPC dialogue, but you do it because you were socially programmed to do so.
The annoying problem is having to continuously deal with those lies and falsehoods day in and day out. "How are you doing" isn't an invitation to tell your life story or the why as to the current state, just requesting a "good, you?" Keeping up the 'translator' for gibberish into concepts is draining, and it makes sense to not want to be drained further when engaging in what is meant to be a fun hobby.
thank you
*although small note, the whole “how are you” thing being meaningless is very American. American English is positively bloated with all kinds of meaningless fluff in spoken language, which inadvertently makes not using it make you come across as blunt.
Us Dutchies are about as direct as they come. We don’t even say each other’s names sometimes. Obviously there’s the hello-hi’s upon encounter, but that’s all.
To answer the thread, though. I only ever say gg if the losing side says it first. If not, I just don’t say anything, unless there’s something else.

That they are defending a clearly unbalanced killer on the forums? What about what I typed out confused you?
meant to add more.
also, give it a week or two at least before we all start saying Xeno's op. it hasn't even been one.
-
How is that the killers' fault?
To a degree, yeah, players can be carried to an MMR they don't belong. However, were MMR actually functional, you wouldn't get matched with the same people between, say, Trapper and Xeno.
Your argument is favoured towards MMR needing improvements, not necessarily Xeno needing changes.

Kinda negative about this one, because the point of it should already be clear when new players are going through the tutorial.
For veterans, this is going to be a tad confusing, since the number is going up, when it has been counting down for 7 years now.
-
Seeing as I’m one of the “elite” here, I’m just gonna add that I am very positive about this. People can still show off their prestige in the post-game scoreboard, whilst high prestiges are going to be lobby dodged way less.

Regarding Bubba and Pyramid Head, that may be intentional, as people complained a lot about motion sickness coming from the forced camera movement.
Slinger’s animation is straight up misaligned, though.

If they were compensating with a cosmetic, we would get to choose which Alien cosmetic we would get, not be forced into the worst Ripley skin without even an alternative of a Xeno skin (ala Ripley themed chapter pack or Xeno themed chapter pack). We would get our choice of ANY of the release skins. There also isn't an opt-out option for just the Killer and Survivor like normal. This is extremely scummy and shady business practices.
My pet theory is Disney (the current rights owner of Fox, therefore ALIEN) is too money grubby, and negotiated too high of a revenue split. BHVR would then have to artificially bump the price (forced cosmetic inclusion that nearly no one wants) to falsely justify the forced expenditure. To be fair though, the flaw in my theory is BHVR already did this with Nic Cage, so it (in my mind) is a coin toss as to which is at fault, BHVR or Disney. Alternatively it could be both egging each other on.
I have a sneaking suspicion this one isn’t on Disney, actually.
We’ll have to wait for another original chapter to confirm, but I have a feeling this was a choice made by BHVR execs, not so much Disney.

Guessing people are going to default to he/him, like with Dredge, Demo and Singularity (although the latter is technically correct according to his tome)
I would say it’s an “it”, though.
-
It doesn't take him out immediately. He needs to be in it for a couple seconds for it to wear off.
Also, the stagger is very negligible once he does get kicked out, so make sure you're not right besides him.
As for the RPD thing... dunno. Collission shenanigans, most likely.
-
This first night, I've seen survivors improving on where to actually put the things, namely points of high traffic that don't really have any cover.
I've also noticed that hitting them with the tail attack is rather inconsistent, but that may also just be me mistiming it.
-
BUT! but
Crawler Mode Xeno is now friends with Birbs!

the last 2 aren't at all related to the content of the paid dlc, but-

I mean, the slugging part should be obvious.
If they need to camp with Xeno this early, that's a skill issue.

if theres an addon called VHS porn in the game, im positive you can link a twitter link as the mods know that its changed to X lol
the problem is not that it looks like porn
it straight up won't appear for some reason
it gets turned into a pink rectangle
at least the op's fixed now

The original post didn’t specify, and I‘m not sure we’re allowed to discuss it here, but the original VA; [just gonna redact his name], has been fired following “talks” with underage girls.
Mind, this is based on 10 minutes of research, and I could be entirely wrong.

I told the devs two years ago in many heated debates that lgbt representation was not necessary (As we're over represented. Note: Im gay) in DBD. Two years later, we got this. And the numerous posts in FB groups talking about how its always killers with pride flags (or especially the trans flag) that are toxic. Thanks BHVR for being part of the worsening stigma problem. 👍And if those killers arent actually gay or trans, they're using those symbols as an excuse to paint us in a bad light. Felix has also been mentioned by people not wanting to play him anymore as they figure he's now gay with his new revealing outfit. 😴
Itd be really nice if we discarded representation in this game and just focused on creating a fun, close to balanced game as possible rather than focusing on who people have sex with.
1 original character is confirmed to be LGBTQIA+. 1. One.
How can that possibly be "overrepresentation"
also you hang around some weird people if that's the consensus, 'cause I have never, ever heard of that happening. People are thirsting for Felix, sure, but the man's got a wife and child.

They won't be everywhere, but once survivors adapt, they will always be in all the places they need to be: generators and loops.
Again, there’s only 4. It would require some gigabrain predictions to put flamethrowers at every loop Xeno’s gonna be at. Also, when Xeno emerges from the tunnels, the turrets are momentarily disabled.

people would actually have some time to learn about to changes after ptb and prepare for them.
look what happened when sadako's major post-ptb changes weren't revealed until the very last day.
What's there to prepare for? You can only really feel the impact of changes by trying them out for yourself, ie., when the patch is live. Speculation about something you haven't seen in action yet is rarely helpful.

it doesn't because it's pointless to post that info on monday when it has zero relevance as patchnotes would be dropped the very next day.
Which changes what, exactly?
If you see the dev thoughts as patch notes, then there is no relevance to them to begin with. It's the philosophy behind the changes that is relevant, which is not changing if it's released later.
Hell, it could even release after the chapter has dropped and it still wouldn't matter.
