Even if he was stronger, his strength was not the point of the rework. The rework happened because it was frustrating to play for both sides.
Only if you had no idea of what you were doing. And that goes for both sides.
-
Stronger? No, not even close.
More fun to play as / against? Healthier for the game? Stronger add-ons? Yes, yes, a hundred times yes!
The most fun and unique killer BVHR has ever released. He deserves another chance. We Old Freddy mains deserve another chance.

"Make DBD great again" is not as simple as it sounds. A "great DBD" is a subjective term, and it changes heavily based on who you are speaking to, and that goes way beyond a simple anniversary event.
For example, if I could return to any version of DBD I would choose 1.8.0 right away, because that is the version which has everything I want and like about this game. However, this is merely my answer, which I am 100% sure isn't shared by the entire community. Of course, we could try to reach something that pleases everyone, but I doubt that is even possible.
In conclusion, what I am trying to say here is that it is impossible to make the game great again, because each player has a different view of what is considered "great".
Personally, I would suggest making pretty much every single version of the game playable (with the use of bots, obviously) so that those players which are currently dissatisfied with the game can get a taste of what they truly like. But that would require some effort, and I doubt anyone is truly willing to do it.
-
Yes, because my PC is broken and that is annoying as hell.
-
I feel sorry for ya, console players. Hopefully the situation will get better, eventually.

Let's just say,Freddy isn't exactly fun to go against on console ☻
Holy #########, that looks painful as hell.
-
Probably Bubba, tbh.

I saw someone post this online and this would probably make a console explode
Oh, I see...
This is basically instant death for a console survivor, then. Honestly, it is sad.
-
If Sloppy Butcher is enough to make the game freeze for about 5 seconds, what would a Freddy with Sloppy Butcher do to a console?
From what I've heard, the Dream World can cause some problems.
-
Farewell, my friend. I hope you find a reason to return to the Fog.

I dont mind the Map as Killer since the Rework. But it gets pretty boring if you end up on Ormond basically all the time.
I don't really like it, tbh. But then again, I never did.

Are you sure about that?
I hope I am.
-
I suppose it is widely regarded as busted. But then again, we have already dealt with "busted" things for years. What is one more?
-
Thankfully, this quote is just there to be funny. Otherwise, it would explain a lot.
-
Ormond all day long is a scary thought, to be honest.
-
By the Entity, 29 Devotion...
I gotta say, that is impressive.

Don't you like stealth killers? Or is ot the exposed?
I don't like the fact that I can't reveal him, no matter what I do.

Why do you hate my tbagging boi?
Because this killer has been the bane of my existence ever since his PTB, and back then he was the worst killer in the game.
-
Yeah, ever since the RE Chapter released I've been running Lightborn on Freddy to avoid those perky Flashbangs and Blast Mines, and by the Entity this perk can make a difference.
It is interesting to see people trying to blind you, confident that they will get that save...and then you hit them.
-
Freddy is the most fun killer to go against. Not because of his power, because it is boring as hell, but because he is freaking Freddy Krueger. He is amazing and he knows it!
And the most boring killer to go against is Ghostface. That guy is painful.
-
Basically:
-Yes
-Yes
-No
-No
I usually save my Shards for perks, and if I get unlucky I can always get some BPs instead.
Cosmetics interest me none, and I have only bought 1 character using shards (Jane).
-
Huntress, by a VERY long shot.
-
Because looping is fun.
-
I don't really know, but I miss them.
-
Yes, it should be removed.
-
Nah, the highest level of play is boring.
-
Nope, you are not imagining things. This is nothing more than a mere item on The Realm Beyond's endless list of unforgivable mistakes. This map used to be one of the deadliest maps in the game, not to mention a paradies for stealth killers, and now it is nothing more than Palle Town 2.0
-
There are countless, to be honest. Freddy was always a killer who welcomed interesting builds, and you can pretty much run whatever you want.
I usually run something along the lines of: BBQ / Pop / STBFL / Brutal Strength. Obviously this build has its variations, as you can easily swap Pop for Ruin, or Brutal for Sloppy Bucther. You can also take a lethal approach with perks such as Haunted Ground or Devour Hope.
Feel free to experiment when playing as the Dream Demon himself.

They stated in the post itself that the images were the same ones posted on twitter, and were outdated. There is (some) hope.
I won't get my hopes up. A disappointment is more than likely.
-
-Trickster buffs are okay-ish for those who play him, I suppose. But I don't play him, so whatever.
-Perk buffs are nice, but I don't use them.
-Grab and hit changes probaby won't even work.
-Survivor's visual changes... [BAD WORD] that!
-Custom matches with bots are nice, and long overdue. If they work properly, that is.
-HUD Changes are nice because I can remove the hook counter and get a tiny bit closer to the old HUD.

I don't like the survivor model reworks at least these new ones. Kate, Feng, and David all look worse than before
Another testament to what I've been saying for some time: just because you can change something, doesn't mean you should.
-
They are okay-ish, I guess. Not that it really matters for me, as I hate this guy regardless of his strength, or lack of strength.
But I suppose people who play him are happy right now.
-
If it even works, that is. And we all know that it probably won't.
-
The situation is just as you described it. No one is feeling the extra effort because it simply does not exist.
-
I bet a Skeleton Key that it is going to be another disappointment.
Alright, so we got: A Trickster buff (okay-ish, I suppose. Never gonna touch this poor excuse of a character anyway), fixes for pallet hits and grabs which probably won't even work, visual changes for a few characters ([BAD WORD] that) and some news about the tutorials.
I would say I won the bet.
-
Community challenges were the only redeeming quality of this event for me. Not anymore.
-
If you are having that much trouble just call some friends and SWF. It will make things much easier.
People play the way they want to play, and nothing can change it.
-
Wait, this glitch is back?
Nice.
-
I want Freddy to have something. A crown works just fine.
-
All things considered, it is a really bad event. Useful if you wish to level up a character or two, but that is about it.
-
Oni.
Oni is already rare, but when I do face one I am probably not going to live to tell the tale.
For some reason, Onis want me dead at all costs, and they are not afraid to tunnel me into oblivion if they have to.

Then everyone would be banned lolol.
I would not.
-
Overrated: Bubba. It is not unusual to see people who consider him way stronger than he actually is.
Underrated: The most underrated killer in DBD's history was Old Freddy. People kept saying he was a low tier killer, even though he was not even close to the low tier. Now, I would say Billy is the most underrated.
Rated Perfectly: Huntress. She is high tier, and everyone agrees with that.
-
Fractured CowHell is the most survivor sided map, in my opinion.
-
As impossible as this is, this suggestion has my full support. I would go straight to 1.8.0 and never come back.
-
Something closer to Howling Grounds or Scorching Summer BBQ.

Bem legal ver que outras pessoas aqui do fórum conhecem o português do Brasil, eu sou um deles xD
Are u guys Brazilian too?
Yes, I am! It is always nice to see other people from Brazil in here, after all there are some gamers here who supported DBD from the very beginning.

Fun for those who have characters to level up.

Actually, this title means lag, lag and more lag.
