Congratulations, you got the joke
Listen, joke or not, I am just a huge Rin Yamaoka enthusiast so I will defend her when I can. Anyone who know me well on the forums should know that about me.

It does seem like since sbmm has come in there are more DCs on both sides. In my matches either survivor DCs early or killer DCs if couple gens pop before they hook someone. I've been watching streams and it's the same thing, just lots of DCs from both sides in the matches.
Haven't really noticed. I haven't played much since SBMM came out so it's too early for me to notice a difference.

as a dedicated spirit main that has practiced a lot in custom games and learned as many details/info about her power as i could, i can confirm that just charging up the power a bit ( not fully charge it ) will not cause the animation reset. ( you have to actually charge it all the way up meaning the MOMENT you regain total movement in phasewalk, is when the animation reset happens.
I can totally relate with your name

Not sure why the devs haven’t addressed this yet. There needs to be better incentives for killers to kick gens.
-
This has gotta be a troll, right?

Yes

Yes I deserve the slander. I will try to analyze jokes better in the future 😅

Hag always Hag. I hate her so much.

Hag
You surprisingly dont have the most common answers on there,
For most people it's either Spirit, Hag, Deathslinger, Doctor, etc.
@Apollos said:
As far as pure gameplay is concerned, Hag, Spirit, and Cannibal. They're the more annoying cousins of Trapper, Nurse, and Billy.
@Ssajbambusa said:
Spirit - results of a Nurse with way, way lower skill required.
Freddy - game delay for just existing. I miss old Freddy, it was very interesting concept for a killer.
Rin just wants to be loved!

Oh well I didn't know I'm sorry. Also I love that card game!

That's not the only thing that Spirits need to learn. Standing still doesn't even work every time.
-
Try to do short bursts at loops rather than spending the whole power gauge. That’s the correct way to play her. There are times you’ll need to use a large portion of your power like if a survivor is holding W and since you’re a 4.4 killer, you’ll have to do that to counter that strat. Survivors with Iron Will are more complicated but if you read them enough, you should be able to predict their movements and catch them by surprise if they try doubling back.
It takes practice and she does take way more skill than people say so all this isn’t particularly easy to do. The reason people are quick to say that she takes no skill is that 75% of survivor mains just don’t try when they play against her.
-
He’s definitely strong now. It was a well deserved buff.

@BongRips4Wraith said:
Remember when all the Spirit players said Spirit was totally balanced because Iron Will counters her, so every single spirit started running Stridor which made Iron Will (her only "counter") an empty perk slot.
It's almost like you want your opponent to have no counterplay against you. You're already playing Spirit, if you use your ears/scratch marks, you're still a top 5 killer easily even if all 4 players had Iron Will.
Are you directly using the second paragraph towards me or?
-
I have been playing her a lot.

Objection there is plenty counterplay
blood u can see it
footsteps u can hear it
bloodhound exists
whispers
shall i go on
also im a killee and ive besn maininf billy so i use chainsaw wont need 2 hits 😂
Blood: Doesn't show exactly where the survivor is currently, it only shows where they were.
Footsteps: Incredibly inconsistent.
Bloodhound and Whispers: This is irrelevant because people always bring up how Iron Will isn't a reliable counter to Spirit because you shouldn't have to waste a perk slot to hopefully get a killer that is countered by it. So why should Bloodhound and Whispers be labeled as reliable counters to Iron Will?
-
@Jigsaw_pprentice1993 said:
Simple iron will is 1 perk
spirit is a killer with a good powe busted with add ons and she can bring 4 perks with it
also iron will lets u get away with a lot example iron will hide while the killer walks by he normally would have heard u
but point clear spirit players tend to bring op stuff on one the strongest killers in the game
Yeah? It is one perk that is stupidly strong with no downsides and takes nothing from the survivor side to get the perk to activate other than slapping the perk on. Iron Will needs a nerf because it’s boring and doesn’t really offer counterplay from the killer side while mind gaming just like people say about Spirit.

Good. It’s time for survivor mains to suffer 😈

If I got to see Spirit almost every game, it would be a dream come true. I love that killer.

Agree 100%. I think Iron Will is the most poorly designed perk in the game. You take away a vital game mechanic by equipping a perk. It takes no input from the player to activate and it works optimally simply by existing in the trial. There's nothing the other side can do to mitigate its effect. It's poorly designed.
Thank you. It certainly needs some kind of downside because the effect it has is too powerful to warrant not having one.
-
It's between Pinhead and Pyramid Head for me.

@Anniehere said:
I'm no longer sure that it's about the internet. some people complained about connection problems when they have a good and stable internet connection. it has to be something wrong with the game.
I find it quite punishing if the game crashed. players who got disconnected from the host should be placed with bots. if we have bots, DC penalty can be removed.
They should definitely implement a bot system, but no DC penalty means that survivors can DC whenever they want and it still makes the game boring for everyone else because bots can't really communicate with the other survivors and they'll be way too predictable in chase which removes interesting chases between two human players. DC penalty should honestly stay imo.

Iron Will is way more problematic than Spirit, simply because Iron Will mutes almost all sounds survivors make.
Personally I think Spirit is fine, simply because survivors want every single detail the killer is doing to outplay her and I personally can't support that as counterplay because its like taking a test and having the answer key. On top of that, there is just no way to change spirit without butchering her kit or making her a A- killer that survivors can walk all over her.
Her add ons need a look at and the stand still mind game should get removed. Other than that, she’s fine and she does take way more skill than people claim as well. Iron Will definitely needs a nerf.

a downside would be interesting for IW. You have any suggestions? Maybe something like skill checks while injured are narrowed by ‘x’ or even great skill checks are removed while injured? Too busy focusing on not making sound to notice pr perform up to snuff.
It can maybe use a timer like Lucky Break.

Pinhead, Pyramid Head, Freddy, and Myers might be the only ones to stand a chance.

This is a great concept but instead of it blinding the killers gen reading aura, why not make it so that it shows other survivors generators when being chased for a long duration.
Gain a token after being in a chase for Sixty|Fifty| Forty Seconds. Each token reveals the aura of four random generators to every survivor for Five\Seven\Ten seconds, with no cool down. Additionally, while this boon is lit it gives a 15 percent bp boost to the bold category.
That could work. I’ll be down with that.

I just don't think permanently eliminating essential info for the killer is a viable perk. The killer shouldn't be forced to break a boon totem, it's simply an option if they happen to find it. A minor risk to the survivor that their perk could end up disabled.
This would essentially be a survivors version of NOED, except "just running out the exit" isn't something the killer can do in this case.
Now that you and @Neamy have shared your criticisms about it, I'm starting to see the negatives of the perk. It just sounded cool off the top of my head but I didn't think it through well enough. Thanks for sharing y'all's opinions on it though.

At the same time though, would this apply only to the survivor that placed it? Or would it work for all survivors? If it was for all, it's would be a huge disadvantage killer wise, which again makes it a totem perk, but it would probably end up being a much longer time taken to kick gens/pallets/vaulting,like a reverse fire up. Could see some other killer mains "fired up" about this one, like, a lot :)
Oh no it would just be the survivor that has the perk. Honestly, I didn't even think about how it would work if multiple survivors had the perk so I might've goofed this one.
-
@Seraphor said:
That sounds ridiculously OP. It would only take one 40s chase to eliminate 4 gens from the killers view, and then the killer is pretty much forced to seek out the Boon totem.
The killer might not even notice at first, if it's just one or two, and that makes 2 gens that are completely safe to repair.
No Boon perk should force the killer to find the totem like this, even most Hex perks can be ignored if you really want to, even Ruin has no power if you just genrush. This is legitimately stronger than any Hex perk, and a boon perk should only be 1/4 of a Hex. (still four survivors)
Fair, maybe I should increase it to 35/30/25 seconds?
-
@Neamy said:
As a killer main, I don't like it. However, that being said, I wouldn't mind something like that showing up, cause you survivors couldn't stop us when we find it to cleanse it (unlike us chasing you off our totems). So from there, it makes sense as a totem perk.
Yeah that's why it'd be a good totem perk. It would be very oppressive without it and I would hate it.
-
I honestly agree with what you said tbh. Both are very good choices.
-
The problem is what’s your definition of camping and tunneling? It could mean just existing on the map and chasing a survivor or it could be actually camping and tunneling. It depends on how entitled the person is.
-
Killers camp at endgame? Yeah, it’s so unskillful, whenever killers do it, they suck at life and are just horrible! Oh my god what are we gonna do?!
-
Hi Sluzzy! Are you doing well today? Can I have your autograph?

I’m not sure how effective trapping in lockers would be but it sounds interesting.

I think it's 24 meters isn't it?
I can’t remember off the top of my head. I think Devour is 24 and MYC is 32 though.
-
Using Make Your Choice is camping? You have to be 32 meters away from the hook for it to activate. Camping really does mean staying in the map while the survivor is on the hook.

Yeah it’s working. I got the achievement.

Yeah there is a way to do it in game. You can ask on the forums how to report but don’t show the names of the people associated as it’s against the rules here.
-
Umm you should probably remove his name or you’ll get banned for naming and shaming.
-
I like the previous ones the most but I’m not super worried about it tbh.
-
A map where it’s strong to hold W and has two floors that make it hard for killers to patrol cannot be a killer sided map.

You're on the other side of the problem now. Before the change Iron will was what all the spirit players said was the counter to her and why she wasn't OP even though she clearly and obviously was. Though if the spirit used stridor it made IW useless because the entire point of the perk is to be silent not a little quieter. So saying IW countered her was just a lie since stridor existed and lots of them used it. IW is fair and the argument that just slapping the perk on isn't fair could be argued for any perk anyone doesn't like. " Oh Pop isn't fair they just slap on a perk and they get gen regression just for doing what they should do anyway." Killer's goal is to defend gens just as survivor's goal is to finish them and not be killed. Or like the others here say Tinkerer's rewards you for something you haven't done which you can argue isn't fair. I think Tinkerer's is fine personally and so is IW and any other perk that makes the killer or survivor silent. You don't like it just as I didn't like using a perk that was basically useless against Stridor.
Difference with Pop is that it actually requires the killer to do their objective, has a timer, and literally requires the killer to go out of their way to kick a gen to get value out of the perk. With IW, you don’t have to think or plan what you’re going to to with the perk, because it’s brain dead just slap on the perk and you’re silent while injured for the whole trial.
