I think I asked this before but I want to know again
What is your go to survivor or killer perk builds that doesn't use meta perks like Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Ruin, ect?
My goto on twins isnt that meta. Most of the perks are like strong ones you see fairly often but not like ruin pop etc. Usually run STBFL or BBQ with nurses sloppy and crowd control.
-
Trapper is one of the weakest killers so if you want to win he isnt the choice, he can definetly do well if mastered but still below every other killer. Try putting them in unexpected spots and hidden by objects.
-
@Huge_Bush said:
Well, you took that risk. I'd would do the same as that David. It's boring just sitting on the ground, so I'll just do my best to hide while laughing maniacally to myself!
Also, the most painful experience in this game is getting hooked and seeing the auras of my teammates, where one is hiding behind a rock, another is just moon walking in circles and the third is urban evading around the edges of the map.
nope just the pains of playing twins and downing someone far away, he was gone before I could get to victor

Iri head *enters chat*
tbh since its nerf iri head kinda #########
-
I stopped playing from nemi release to midchapter because of how ######### the chapter launch was.
-
"pretty weak for an Iri addon" good job my friend you have summed up almost every iri addon.

This would just cut down on people running those perks because they can benefit off their teammates running them while they themselves swap out for other stuff and further drive home whats meta.
Not really because if everyone takes that approach then its a dud perk slot.
-
@LordGlint said:
So 1 person running something like alert or empathy would count for EVERYONE running those and saving perkslots for something else?
yep SWF in a perk slot

You said the Killers were inherently bad. Many people think Trapper is unplayable, certainly not S tier yet, a skilled player can win with him.
CAN win with him, I have won games on no blink nurse. Your point?
-
If you count literally just moving to the right as spinning then yeah
-
@UncleStabby said:
Spinning is irritating, but I do agree with you. Managing to evade Blight's lethal rush is hardly an impressive feat, as it depends completely on the Killer's skill and not your own.
Just another salty survivor for the pudding.
I dont care about spinning in fact I think its pretty funny to pull off and it feeds me lots of hits as killer, I just dont like how people claim like everything is a spin
-
@GeneralV said:
You think this is bad? I once played against a guy with an atrocious ping, who was overly pride of the fact that he "spun" me five times.
And then I was like:
"Buddy, you kept teleporting around because of your trash connection and you still died with 5 gens left. I hardly think this was a victory for you."
There was no reply.
Ah yes I had a yun jin do that to me but at least they didnt brag about it in the endgame they were just really laggy and kept teleporting behind me for no reason.
-
Really not many killers have teachables that synergise with their power like there is trapper who only really agitation synergises with, wraiths are all kinda awful and dont synergise all that well imo, billy has tinkerer which definetly is a synergy and an arguement can be made for enduring, all of nurses one are pretty good with her, huntresses once agan are all useless and dont really synergise with her at all, PWYF and STBFL do kinda synergise with myers, hag obviouslys the are all hexes and hag excels at hexs but really they dont synergise with he too much ruin does benefit hag as much as other killers and the same can be said about 3rd seal, doctor is weird it would seem like his do synergise but monitor is pretty detrimental in his power as most of the time you wont be blasting in chase and it gets rid of a decent chunk of range out of chase and it also lessens the area of overwhelming, Bubba has 2 m1 perks, Freddy is all endgame which i guess could be considered some kind of a synergy since he is weaker at the endgame with no gens to TP, Pigs are all suited for a high mobility killer, clowns dont synergise either as phasmamain said, spirit I guess the info from haunted and rancor is useful and exposed ir reallys useful to spirit, Legion only really discordance synergies with his power, plague is probably the best example of the perks synergising with a snowball perk and an early game perk, GF thrilling is reallys best for high mobility but IAE does give him some help in the chase which he needs and then furative does jack ######### cause its furative, I guess demos kinda work he is definitely better at dealing with pallets than windows and he m1s people fairly often and he kinda has some surprise with his portals and the devs really wanting to make him a stealth killer. Oni well thats the whole point of this post,.Slinger all of his perks like work on him but are much better suited to a killer with better mobility like the perks arent bad on him but so many killers would use all of his perks way better than him. PH trail is kinda ehh he can defend it with his power so I guess thats one, deathbound is useless PH does not need long range info and forced penance is also pretty useless. Blight he doesnt m1 that much and 2 of his perks relying on m1s. Twins' perks are just a mess they dont synergise at all. Trickster also doesnt get much use of his perks starstruck when he has a 24m terror radius and he isnt any stronger at endgame but I guess crowd control kinda synergises because he is better at pallets than windows. I havent played nemmy so I cant say much abt that
-
People were calling trickster the worst killer in the game which was definetely an exageration but he was still weak and definetly needed a buff.
-
There will be a spot where you get trapped and cant escape on the next reworked map or new map if its liscenced.

Did create this right after u saw my last comment? Lol, I'm sorry, I thought my idea was a good one
Ehh thats kinda what pushed me over the edge but like these posts pop up like every day and I never know why people think the fix for keys is to make them rarer. Like bullshit that happens less often is still bullshit.

Why private profiles? lol
If its a Private profile thats doesn't have any customization like not even a pfp and a hard to remember name or name with lots of numbers in it its more likely they could be hackers that a public profile or a profile with some customization/effort in it.

How many seconds does a broken key have? I only know pink and purple open hatch, and green can't
10 without prayer beads and 25 with them

Even a broken key? Lol jk
They should really make broken keys look different but they can also be really annoying with blood amber.

four survivors using the exact same cosmetics
Sometimes I find matching but like they arent a SWF or toxic in any way like it is just 4 default megheads or if a new skin came out sometimes I see lobbies of 4 of that. Usually when its a mix of cosmetics from different sets then it is probably a SWF

Kinda but it has a breakable wall now instead
Yeah I saw this video and it might be out of date and it isnt exactly the most scientific but the doorway doesnt seem to save that much time at least from watching the video and pausing it at what I think was the same spot it seems both routes take about 13 seconds to go from the corner around and back to the corner.
-
Didnt they also add back the infinite on groaning with Realm Beyond after removing it.
-
@vacaman said:
Victor doesn't even give chase points for survivor and i think for killer either. After all this time and all the complains they decided it's stil not a priority.
Yep being chased by victor technically isnt a chase so windows dont get entity blocked either
-
@glitchboi said:
Cancelling your power as Legion stuns you for a total of 4 seconds.
Hey at least it doesnt add a second for each survivor injured.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Billy I guess?
Oh yeah they added overheat. What is it with BHVR and punishing killers for playing well.

@JPA said:
I'm interested to know what criteria you guys use to judge, upon getting the first down, whether to hook, or slug.
If a hook was very close by, the chase didn't take too long, and no gens were done, I'd typically go for the hook. But if I know survivors are close by (e.g. infectious fright activates, or saw survivors nearby during the chase) I'll continue applying pressure.
Then of course it probably makes sense for different Killers and on different maps.
Oftentimes after a string of bad losses I have gone into games with the intention of not hooking at all and just hardcore slug, half of the time these games lead to a quick victory, so I feel like I should incorporate slugging more into my normal playstyle.
Well Ive been playing Twins a lot and its just slug constantly. Downed another survivor on the other side of the map slug with victor to babysit them. Downed a survivor near you slug and make someone give Victor an involuntary piggyback. Downed someone as charlotte leave them there and use Victor to find injured people. In a lot of my games I only get like 6 hooks because I hook 1 or 2 survivors then get a 4 man slug,
-
People can have fun by slugging everyone to death then watching them rage in the endgame chat and other people have fun by trying to find spots to space billy off and completely ignoring survivors. Fun is entirely subjective.
-
I dont really count but I have gone like 3 weeks or something of not losing and playing like 9 hours a day.
-
Make him move faster when out of LOS of survivors.
-
Twins. Slap them with charlotte using franklins sloppy and 3rd seal then go on the stupidest slugging rampage ever with gremlin boi
-

They both look beautiful however RPD is worse than Gideon. Gideon, while it may have many safe pallets, can at least be traversed. RPD is the size of Mother's Dwelling doubled, and effectively is a massive middle finger to all sides. Good luck doing anything.
Not only is it that big but its like a ######### maze so your routes end up being even longer because you have to navigate the maze of corridors
-
This is true evil.
-
Nope no such thing exists except for Dead Hard.

- teabagging at pallets/windows

- using perks
- running away
- doing gens
- breathing at me in a facetious manner when I have stridor equipped
- playing around BBQ
- typing anything in the end game chat
Any of these things will usually annoy me and make me more likely to tunnel a survivor out of the game without any guilt
Thats a long list.

Only within a certain distance, at that point it would cut off.
Yes wraith used to be a ######### character because he was slow as ######### and could be seen across the map despite being meant to be stealth. Stealth is already probably the weakest thing in the game it does not need a hard counter.

Spirit, Wraith, Freddy, and possibly Nurse although, I'm not sure that is really invisible.
Wraith is visible though?
-
Actually lisenced does because lisences get much less cosmetics so there is less way for BHVR to make them less ugly and less ways to seel cosmetics.

What New tutorials? It's the same tutorials just a new coat of paint. There's no teaching about Totems, no teaching about Obsession, common loops and routes, different vault speeds and angles for them, no talks about killers behaviour in chases, stuff like moonwalking, clockwise or counter clockwise looping, etc. It's as if you're just supposed to Shift W to get away from killer and just go from pallet to pallet.... Honest to God this is probably what BHVR wanted all along and Looping as we know it is just something we created, just like combos in fighting games, never meant to exist until someone found out and made it a thing.
BHVR have said that looping wasnt meant to be the focus of the game at launch and the game kinda evolved for it to become a major part of it.

Why? It is a good idea because missed attacks do waste time.
Yes but you rarely miss attacks unless they have deadhard and even then a lot of people just use deadhard to get to pallets.
-
You cant nerf SWF
-
If the killer wants to win then they wouldnt care they got slightly less BP
-
No. It does not need a buff in numbers it need a whole new effect.
-
@glitchboi said:
Do they reset your perks and cosmetics? I wanna check it out but I'm very paranoid about it.
only for dwight and trapper I think

no they are always 10% off. Check literally every outfit in the game they all says 10% off. Also what version are you playing on. On PC the sale is working fine.

You ever been tunneled? It sucks the fun out of the game. You know what fun is right? The whole reason we play games...?
Not saying its personal, its just kinda a jerkish way to go about it when a skilled player can do just as well without tunneling.
Not really. Anyone who can play well without tunneling and slugging could play better with tunneling and slugging.

@Jivetalkin13 said:
Disclaimer: I don't think this should be in the game. This is just for fun and shouldn't be taken seriously. Don't let the limitations of the game hinder your creativity and embrace the chaos.
How would a game go if 5 to 6 maps were combined together? Specifically...
-The 5 Macmillan
-The 5 Autohaven
-The 5 Coldwind
-The 2 Crotus Prenn, 2 Backwater Swamp, and 1 Léry's Memorial
-The 5 Springwood and 1 Ormund
-The 2 Red Forest, 2 Yamaoka, and 1 Grave of Glenvale
-The 1 Haddonfield, 1 Gideon Meat Plant, 1 Hawkins National Laboratory, 1 Silent Hill, and 1 Raccon City.
... Survivors would need to complete 5x more generators and Killers would need to hook each survivor 3 more times in order to win. Some killer powers would be magnified like the amount of Trapper traps, Nemisis zombies, etc.
This is a really absurd idea and I hope it never comes into the game, but it's fun to think about.
That last combination scares me

Overcharge and dragon’s grip are made to counter gen tapping, you could run those.
Both are pretty ######### perks. Dragons relyon you being near the area and they tap it within 30 seconds and Overcharge is hit an easy skillcheck.
