I'm learning to look around after downing a Survivor for a potential save and looking down during blinding attempts.
I always run lightborn so I'm learning that I may not need it as much as I think I do.
I got two 4Ks in a row where flashlight saves were attempted, but I avoided every single one.
I haven't been given Lightborn in Chaos Shuffle once yet.
What have you learned? Anybody finding their favorite perks are not necessary?
I’ve learnt that I play a bit more cautiously without my usual build (for the people - surprise!) and without boons, I probably end up being a bit more efficient.
I’ve never been an aggressive player though so without the ability to loop, I find myself a bit more immersed and sometimes a little guilty at not being able to offer more for the team other than gens, unhooks and heals.
I think I have always deployed a ‘stealthy healer’ mindset in my normal build but chaos has exposed my lack of usefulness if the game becomes more oriented towards chase only.

Wayyyyyy back when I used to main Myers. Maybe like, late 2018 or so.
Some of my most memorable games in terms of horror and scare factor have been with Good old Mikey! Win lose or, well mainly lose in my case, Mikey matches are always fun - even tombstone ones lol

Because I like to play killers people consider weak so last year I started maining freddy, to me it's more challenging than bringing nurse whom I've got thousands of hours on and trying to slug everyone in under a minute and a half, I seriously used to be that guy when I was doing comp who would go into pubs when my squad wasn't on and set a timer for 1 min 30s and if I couldn't slug everyone in that time frame I lost in my mind but still played the game out like normal, nowadays I enjoy the excitement these weaker killers give me as far as chases and just interactions in general even if I lose because it's way more fun this way for me personally, and I don't have some ridiculous standard I'm trying to uphold I'm just having a good time
I understand and respect that! You have taken the killer equivalent of No Mither, but with hidden mithers in the form of skill! (*゚v゚*)

Maining Pig isn't just for DBD... it's a calling in life.
Similarly chose this one as I'm also a Pig main, but prefer the perk icon with the Pig in it over the character portrait. When I unlocked the charm icons in game, I equipped it on all my survivors (and ofc my Pig hooks).
I rarely use Surveillance, but I still try to build around it every now and again. 😁

- I have the Jeff icon because he was my "first love" on DBD. He was (and still is) an underused character and I like being different from the majority. This passion of mine for peculiar characters continued with Zarina, Alan and Cheryl (even though Cheryl is still a popular character in the community). I have no particular preferences about killers because (for me) everything depends on their power and not on their aesthetics… so no one could be my "alter ego"
I also love Jeff - he is the one character I’m intentionally keeping at P0 as he is the most humble of characters imo! Sometimes when I venture into the world or complete soloQ, I use Jeff - kind of a message to others to say “hey, I’m a friend and won’t leave you on death-hook!” (Sadly, he gets left on death-hook…🪦🕊️

Don’t teabag at the gates but I’ll wait if there are people to save (I usually run for the people for such reasons).
never wait 2 mins etc but sometimes will wait a little (30 sec or so max) to:- Give hook/kill to a killer who didn’t get any
- Sometimes just to say GG (I play on Nintendo Switch so no chat - a little nod/item drop is the only way I can express or communicate that it was a good game and acknowledge the fun match we had.
- If the killer returns the nod, I’ll lead them to where I have my boon up if still lit for extra bp (usually when I also let them hook/kill me).
again, only for around 30 secs and if the killer seems ‘up for’ such interactions. If they seem irritated then I just leave -

To play devil’s advocate here I haven’t tunnelled anyone all evening and have been accused of tunnelling and/or camping on multiple occasions.
Are players really being tunnelled or are they just choosing to see it everywhere because it’s easier to blame it than to admit and assess their own poor play.
The one thing I will say toward a lot of the comments is yes survivors in general need a baseline BP bump.
I agree about the baseline bp bump - I’d even say make it so the category for ‘success’ isn’t just about escaping - I would imagine many casuals can still gain satisfaction from their games even if (like me) they end up dying 99% of their matches.
I run a discord server with c. 150+ people (all casuals and in game friends - we don’t do voice comms, just chat randomly while playing and a vehicle for finding people to play with when tired of pure solos) and I can honestly say nobody cares too much about if they ‘destroyed killers’ (in fact about half the peeps are friends I made who are killer mains but had fun with - and I don’t mean through just farming or being ‘friendly’ killers’). I think most people like the horror experience but it just isn’t that great to be tunnelled and slugged. As things stand (emphasis on this) it is a game mechanic to be slugged and camped to a degree so no point blaming killers.
The consensus amongst my server and through my own observations is that repeatedly being subjected to perceived bm (tunnelling, slugging, flashlight, sabo, teabags etc) tends to perpetuate a mentality of us v them and the build up of frustration means at some point people end up doing these things themselves as retaliation against someone - then the cycle repeats.
sorry kind of went of topic but you’re a vet on this forum (and I always have your name in mind when facing myers lol).
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts. -
@Reinami said:
I'm calling it now.
The new meta will be slugging.
Deadlock isn't really that good of a perk, grim embrace was okish, the only ones worth anything were pop and pain res.
I really think people underestimate how long it takes killers to do anything. Do you know how long it takes to hook a survivor?
- 2.7 wipe animation
- 3 second pickup animation
- ~10 seconds to walk to a scourge hook (a little more than half the bar, sometimes more sometimes less, but scourge hooks are harder to get to sometimes)
- 1.5 second hook animation
Now, even if you KNOW exactly where the gen is that popped, and assume its only half a map away from you. Lets say its the gen on the very middle of the map. How long does it take to walk to that gen? About 11 seconds.
So you have
2.7 + 3 + 10 + 1.5 + 11 = 28.2 seconds.
What is pain res NOW? 22 seconds off a gen.
Pain res LITERALLY does not pay for itself most of the time. Now you want to nerf it even more?
Any on top of that you want to nerf pop back to uselessness? When pop was at 20% nobody used it for a reason, 20% of CURRENT is nothing.
The only reason that "pain res is in nearly 40% of games" is because it is the "best" gen defense perk. But the game is LITERALLY BALANCED AROUDN THE IDEA THAT KILLERS MUST BRING GEN DEFENSE" Even top tier players and streamers basically admit this. Scott, otz, etc. all say that the game is balanced around killers bringing gen defense. Try not bringing gen defense some time in any high mmr game and watch you get destroyed.
I WANT to bring other perks, i DO NOT WANT to have to bring gen defense every game. PLEASE do the following:
- Nerf all of these perks harder. YES HARDER, cut them down even more. And nerf the other ones while you are at it
- BUFF the basekit gen kick to 10%
- BUFF the basekit gen regression to 200%
Make it like you have just done with leatherface. NERF THE ADDONS (in this case the perks) AND BUFF THE BASEKIT.
As a lower ability player, I have my hands full (as a survivor) even with killers that may be considered ‘average’, but in reading your post through the lens of someone who constantly comes up against cracked survivors I can understand your point of view.
Reading comments and replies, everyone makes coherent and understandable views too and it seems there is almost two or three different games within the same structure and that balancing is a total nightmare where catering to one subset (higher, low or average) of players can have a devastating effect on others.I wonder if BHVR should have a context based value for their perks where if someone reaches a certain MMR then the values change?
Easier said than done I’m sure but what do you think? Also I wonder if there should be a little change to the mechanics for different MMR stages so in effect actually making the game three different games in one.

I think it should be optional to show prestige if you want and hide if you want to. I would also like to show off my prestige and effort I have done. It does give me idea what kind of players I will play agains't or with.
I have neither a strong position on this one way or the other but just wondering regarding your two points (displaying the effort and gauging what others will be like) - wouldn’t the end game show prestige to others anyway? Also I would say that the vast majority of people who play swf won’t care because they’d familiar, and for solo, the vast majority of people even when we can see prestiges end up having frustrating games (countless comments and complaints about soloQ).
The potential danger is that when we can see someone’s prestige and presume they’ll be good or competent at certain things (yet still potentially disappointed because of the soloQ effect) OR we presume they’ll be awful and.. I presume dodge? Or play a particular way (perhaps more cautious etc).
Just throwing into the mix as I don’t mind either way. However anything that can help against tunnelling and lobby dodging is certainly worth exploring no?
-
@DrFlubber said:
I was just told I was selected to test out hiding prestige's in game lobby's. I do not think it is a good idea to even think about doing this because I personally and all my friends I brought it up to agree that the whole point of prestiging is to show off your time and effort put into the game. I hope that BHVR doesn't actually do this. The only reason I see to do this would be to stop tunneling, but that doesn't seem enough reason to me. Feel free to comment what you think about this! P.S, I get tunneled no matter the prestige anyway :).
wont you still be able to show it off after the game is over though?

I'm fairly new to the game (I've been playing for three months now) and as some of my friends said I can adapt and learn quickly... I don't think the MMR takes that into consideration but that is normal you know it's just an algorithm just 0's and 1's.
Now I don't know how the MMR works (if someone could explain what does it take into consideration I'll appreciate it) but If I learned something is that most of the time prestige means much more than rank, with that said ######### IS THE GAME DOING PAIRING ME WITH PRESTIGE 79???!!!!!
And look prestige not always means skill but as you can see I got clapped, I got folded like laundry folded like I was an omelette.
Of course they T-bagged and one of them trash to talked through a ps chat (I didn't screenshot that because I deleted the conversation) Is just an anecdote I wanted share.
You got lots of bp and a kill - I think you did really well considering you’re on a learning trajectory (I could barely get any points after 3 months - actually even now lol)
don’t be disheartened by trolls, you’ll get them on both sides. The fact that they trash talked shows you shook them up enough.

currently i'm using CoH and shadow step (with adrenaline and WoO) but i want to replace adrenaline with some other perk that'd make a good combo with these 2 boon perks i use. (no way i'm removing WoO, it's my 1st to go perk). so, would exponential (jonah's boon perk) fit in with these 2 boon perks? it's the same as unbreakable but just with faster recovery & unlimited, but only counts if you're in the circle; if the killer turns it off then it's basically useless.
about the last 4th boon perk that's called dark theory...i'd say it's the worst boon perk out of all 4 since it gives you only 2% haste in the circle, which is almost nothing so i don't really think that spending 500 auric cells on yoichi is worth it. i'd get it if it was at least 3%( like MFT) or slightly more but then it'd be "op" added with hope, but if it's just 2% then it's the same as nothing. so yeah, it's kind of a perk that doesn't really change anything.
or just give me some builds for CoH or SS seperately, it doesn't really matter to me whether i use one or both of them.
My current build is Boon exponential, For the People, Plot Twist and Flashbang.
If the lobby I’m in had some flashlight users, I’ll switch our flashbang for Buckle Up or Soulguard.
I find this a set up which allows me to be passively and directly altruistic when needed. I don’t use CoH as much as many survivors seem to be bringing their own medkit so I find boon exponential helps with slugging situations and my Plot Twist allows me to heal after FTP-ing someone and not need to take someone of a Gen or run across map to heal me.

I understand players hate Garden of joy/Haddonfield buildings because survivors can vault certain windows with no immediate route for the killer to catch up. These places shouldn't be that strong but god rancid abattoir main building feel like the exact opposite. A good amount of main buildings have one window you can vault which will give you distances so that you can wrap around and potentially vault again. (Groaning storehouse, suffocating pit, Torment creek, Gas heaven)
With that being said… what does the rancid abattoir main building do for survivors?? They put a fence near the former good window and open the breakable door so it is much weaker when it spawn. You only get one window inside now so it is extremely hard to loop and 4 different angles in which u can be approach while on the gen by the killer. You gotta break this center gen or you will likely three gen. Should this main building really be this weak?
I was away on holiday for a bit during the anniversary event and update changes so just came back on last week and was shocked with the main building too - thankfully we didn’t get 3 genned but I was thinking exactly what you said about the ridiculous danger level of that main building.
-
I think if you’re on the same console or PC/steam player as someone who you solo’s with and you ‘clicked’ with each other, you could friend request them in game and even through your Kay form messaging to say GGs and ask if you wanna keep playing.
I actually play on Nintendo switch so for 6 months had absolutely no way of communicating (switch had no messaging or chat system) with friends I made on soloQ who I played with (i.e. saw each other online and invite to lobbies) so we were a quasi-swf.
A few months ago, we had a match against a twitch TTV and we went into their channel to say GGs and realised a few of us regulars on in game friend list were on the chat and we pm’d each other discord details.
even though we swf, we don’t do comms or voice chat - just play and in between games we make jokes or tell each other about codes and upcoming isolates perk explanations and so on. We’re all cross platform but slowly we’ve built up a server full of ‘regular in game friends’.
maybe the first step is to do altruistic actions and try your best in a lobby. Even if you all ended up dying, I’d you had fun and for the feeling the others would watch your back and they feel you’ve got their back, they’d probably more inclined to accept in game friend requests and play again etc
Good luck!

Not much to this.
I don't think the game can be played at an average casual level anymore. I don't think you can really come home from a long day at work and play a couple of games on either role without the game being more trouble than it's worth.
Whether it's problematic Killer designs that are unfun to play against (Legion and Twins), overtuned characters (Blight and Nurse), Skull Merchant or even just the Killer being outright better than you, the casual Survivor experience is bad.
Whether it's teams that force you to play tactically and try hard, people who abuse certain bugs, people who just like to be frustrating (Boil Over) or just plain good teams; the causal Killer experience isn't much better.
I think that should change for both roles. I don't think you should need to sink 6 hours into a play session whilst being hyper-aware and uber competitive in order to have a chance to have fun.
I think there should be a beginner mode which changes the dynamics of the game which can almost server as a live ‘tutorial’ for players. Something which allows for more leniency. I think the new survivor experience is particularly horrible as people need time to learn the basics of how to loop, learn what perks actually are in terms of furthering their objectives and what perks killers have that counter or hinder those.
maybe a live tutorial style system that initially means no perks for beginners - so at the very base level, they can gauge what their objectives are like without them, and then a progressive introduction of each perk style (for both sides) as the main objective:
Gen speed - Use perks for Gen speed/slow down
Healing - Use perks for healing/inflicting hindrance to healing
Chase - practice looping to evade killer/catch survivors
Powers/items/perks - Practice evading killer power using /hit survivors using powers
Maps
Familiarise with DBD maps
I appreciate these things might be incorporated in time challenges etc but, I’d they could be standalone game modes it could offer an opportunity for good practice for both sides. These modes can have matches that give a platform for improving specific elements
I’m sure there may be reasons why the above may not be totally practical etc but just throwing ideas into the ether.

People have optimized the hell out of this game like they do with any game over time.
Just like in the beginning of R6S defender barricaded themselves close to the objective room and attacker tried to crack the defense. Nowadays defender have stealth to roam the whole map, offensive tools, their own drones and so on and attackers also have defensive tool against lurker/roamer and multitude of other utility. This is one of the reasons why I won't go back to that game, despite having actively played it for the first 2-3 from release. I am just way to behind, have too many old habits that are counterproductive and there is too much new stuff and strategies to learn. (Also that game always sucked as solo after a certain point of rank/skill)
Games and the way they are played change drastically over their lifetime when player development more optimized gameplay. Of course that sucks out the fun for casual when the respective game doesn't have a working matchmaking and/or a separate ranked queue.
(What is RS6?)

There are no weak killers. Killrate of any killer is solid. The game is still massively kiler-sided and is balanced a lot around m1 activity. Bloodlust, a lot of dead zones, lack of good or fair pallets make game still feels good, absolutely viable and a lot of times even easy as m1 killer. Basically all this mobility, anti-loop etc are just extra and over-on-top mechanics to make killer easy and overpoweringly fun. A lot of killer crutches - camping, tunneling, 3genning aren't fixed yet. You can succeed with any killer. "Weak killer" became just a meaningless buzzword. Important to note that you have option to not play "weak" killers
This is such a good point - you can change killers to mitigate the perceived level of opposition/strategies employed but survivors do not.
killers can employ different perks AND the killer power and abilities to go with it.

Tunneling isn't toxic. If you get tunneled, you have the perfect opportunity to learn how to loop in a stressful environment.
Of course I understand that and I don’t disagree with tunnelling not being toxic per se but as valid a strategy as it is, it can be insufferable for those entering the game. Many of the more recent new starters won’t have as much motivation to continue playing (I say this as I know of at least 20 people who started and gave up soon afterwards due to the horrendous learning curve for solos starters).
new starters in the past would have at least had more mitigating factors such as being able to use DS or more ‘broken maps’ with more infinites and so on. And I’m not commenting that those things should still exist, but I’m trying to illustrate that newbies in the past had more crutch and handholding to learn how to loop better. Recent newbies will not and so tunnelling is far more brutal and unforgiving. It’s easy to say “They should practice and get better” but the reality is that it is off-putting for more people and can be detrimental for the health of the game.

If I'm playing most games against someone who is much better than me, I will get stomped and probably won't have any fun playing. But it is a learning experience if I choose to use it as such. Every time I get tunneled at 5 gens, I can buy enough time for my team to get all gens done by my 1st or 2nd hook.
Solos are supposed to loop better. The point of a chase is to waste time.
You really lost me there on the last points.
Solos, especially new solos will need time to learn how to loop - most can’t do that when they’re tunnelled out repeatedly which can be demoralising and demotivating to continue playing. The ones that inevitably do, get so good that they now have an axe to grind with killers and who I’ve stomped them and end up toxic - and that cycle starts. I believe the cycle of toxicity starts because of such killer stompability and BMing on low level survivors. I can’t remember who but someone else on the forum put it well: lower level MMR the worst killer toxicity and the higher level MMR had the worst survivor toxicity.
I disagree that Solos “are supposed to loop better” or the notion (sadly) that they will be happy to gladly be tunnelled as long as they can with low bp for the rest of the team.. you can only really expect that from swf.

I feel compelled to state I’m a Nintendo switch player just because it seems it’s so rare to see others on the forums. I kind of feel we don’t even belong to the console category which almost everyone refers to as PS/Xbox.
I don’t really have much issue except it can be very dark on certain maps and controls can be a little clunky. I’ve seen YouTube videos of other players and wondered if it was the same game how the performance is so good.
I’m also not really skilled so probably the more micro elements that make a big difference to skilful players probably aren’t that impactful for me yet.

Nintendo switch user here, reading comments and wondering what paradise other people are in lol

Wanted to kick off a discussion to find out what each of you finds fun in the role that you play - please feel free to speak about both Killer and Survivor Role if you play both (and if you don't play both, why not?!)
So for example "as a killer I find xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx fun" Please of course give more details!
And if you don't play for fun, what do you play for?
I'd be really interested in hearing people's opinions on this, so thank you in advance for all the replies - I will read them all.
As a survivor main, I think almost everything I’ve enjoyed about the game even at my lowest points is team interaction and playing with someone who could save my life or whose life I could save. I like little things like nods at teammates at the beginning - I feel like it’s saying “we’re gonna okay as a team for each other right? Good!” lol
I ttaditionallt have loved the variety of gameplay for survivors in that, I can be in a team where someone might be really good at aspects of the game that I’m not (looping, flashlight saves etc) but I can still contribute and bring value through team perks I bring or choices and decisions I make that can complement the team.

I'm japanese so my English is terrible but I had to post this cuz I'm so upset.
I used to play this game on console before the knight came out.
I bought the game on pc last week and played killer and got to highest rank so I started playing survivor.
And I got afk killer 11 games in a row.
ELEVEN ****ing games in a row.
5x Docters,3x Cenobites,3x Wraiths.
Most of them had Merciless storm,Deadlock,No way out for whatever reason(trolling I guess?)
Others had perks that gives BP.
I understand that it will less of a problem once I hit high enough mmr,but this is just insane.
I don't know any game that has this many afk player and doesn't have any punishment for them.
I"m gonna keep playing it cuz I know how fun can this game be,but if this happened to actuall new player they gonna refund the game.
I hope devs do something to these players.
update:Got to next match, and its an afk killer.again.
English: TLDR; just talked about the possibility of AFK killers trying to lower MMR - although 11 in a row is something I’ve never faced!

Casual level.
You know, the average player.
The average Survivor isn't very good. The average Killer is also not great. However, most average Killers are pretty big on tunneling, camping and relying on regression perks.
It takes MUCH more skill to break 3-gens, counter tunneling and to counter camping than it does to employ those tactics.
Hence, I think the game is maybe a little Killer-sided without those things at a casual (average) level but with those things, I find it to be very Killer-sided.
The better the Survivors are, the more likely they are to be able to counter those strats.
I’ve mentioned this (or tried to articulate it with little success) in previous posts/comments. I often feel that because the casual and beginner level is so much more brutal for survivors that when they start the game, most of their experience is being annihilated and things like camping and tunnelling really exacerbate this. When new players start the game, not yet always understanding or knowing all the nuances and concepts of bm-ing (unnecessary slug, hits on hook, pretending to give exit/hatch only to kill etc etc) or can do a number of ways: Stop playing due to difficulty lack of progression, continue playing and gradually come to terms with this and find a balance, or, get better but hold deep grudges against killers in general (ye olde cycles of hate and toxicity).
cue, many killers who will say “well those killers only do that in response to all the teabags and they’re experience from survivors!” And of course that is both understandable and not incorrect as such, but the reality is that at a base level of entry, it is beginner survivors in solo who indisputably suffer the most devestation. My theory is that this will make these survivors join forces in swfs who may already have gone through the ‘great filter’ mentioned earlier, or get better but seek retribution after initially being powerless.
This is why for me, I believe making the entry level game more equal and intuitive, less susceptibile to mechanics-enabled things like tunnelling and camping (easier said than done but that’s another topic and of course not one with an easy solution) leading to utter devestation and desolation, woxh in turn would create less of filter/cycle leading to so much us v them situations.

So what is the killer supposed to do now? How do they gain pressure? By getting downs? Yea right, usually 2-3 gens pop by your first down anyways. EVEN if you manage to get a down before 2-3 gens pop, the remaining 3 survivors not on hooks (unless someone DC'd for some reason) will usually pop said gens shortly after hooking the survivor you managed to catch.
Camping someone secured pressure, that is why killers started to do it more and more ESPECIALLY after the stall nerfs. You think it is fun to camp survivors to death? No, it is not; it is boring. I want to go out and chase, but I also want to have a chance at winning the match and potentially getting 2-4 kills.
At the highest level of play, this is the smartest strategy to do, regardless of if it is fun for anyone. Killers do not have enough time to go for 12 hook games against survivors that want to actually do their main objective efficiently. Chase time has never been the issue for good killers, it is the game length that is the issue. The earlier you eliminate a survivor from the match, the more the match slows down for the killer to chase and get downs. It isn't rocket science; then again, no one said it was.
Lets look at this mathematically. You find the first survivor at the start of the match. You are a 115 M1 killer. This means that if said survivor starts running away as soon as they hear the TR, regardless of if they even have an exhaustion perk or use pallets/windows, it will take you upwards of 30-40 seconds or more to catch up and get one hit. The killer after hitting them needs to wipe their weapon, the survivor gains the short burst of speed, and now its another 20-30 seconds for that second hit. Add another 6 to 10 seconds to hook them, and you got a minimum of 56 seconds for one down.
With how little time remaining before gens start popping, this means the killer needs to find another survivor within 34 seconds or 3 gens pop (if you do find another in this time, congrats; now only 2 gens of the 5 needed will pop, with one other gen nearly completed). THIS IS ALL ASSUMING YOU FIND SOMEONE AS SOON AS THE MATCH STARTS. You start adding the fact that survivors will utilize pallets and windows after just running away for the maximum amount of time they can, and now it could take even longer to get a down.
I get it because I play survivor as well. I hate getting camped and tunneled, but I also know what it is like on the other side of the coin. There needs to be some way for the killer to get pressure and actually be encouraged, not forced, to leave the hook and go out to hunt other survivors.
I have no problems with gens taking longer (base - not through perks - maybe for m1 or lower tier killer) if they remove the face camp and tunnelling mechanic (except for at egc)

Had a game where a Trapper destroyed my team. I was the last one left and i fully expected them to kill, but they intentionaly let me wiggle free. They stood and let me open the gate but downed me right away and hooked me. I'm fine with someone not giving mercy (or actually being merciful) on a survivor but don't pretend to be nice just to dunk on them right away. Either kill me right away or let me go. I'm not your plaything.
I'm likely making this a bigger deal than it is since it just happened to be fair.
Thanks for reading my rant
I have faced this so many times that when I wiggle free, I just walk ask the killer to follow me and go to the hook and ask to be hooked. Sometimes they shake their head but I mainly insist they kill me. I didn’t deserve the win anyway so no loss on my part but would rather die with dignity.
I’m sure this (your post) will be a cue for many killer mains to come on and rather than say why this is not good, will point to the old “well what about survivors who teabag and stay at exit?” As if by conflating the two wrongs mean that one can’t comment about the experiences of one such as this. What came first the chicken or the egg situation as infinitum.

Excuse me?
Pop was obliterated. Eruption was obliterated. Every gen regression "buff" gained in 6.1 was lost in the last patch.
Killer is in a "nerfed" state considering the times before 6.1 when you look at the game as a whole. Yes DH was annoying but I played around it with STBFL. Not getting to use gen regression hurts way more.
I’m a little confused about something. You say you tunnel and play harshly because it’s a counter measure for you against strong swfs. But you also mentioned (maybe in another thread) that you actively dodge all lobbies and that hint swfs AND screen snipe TTVs (not all TTVs play swf) -meaning you’re tunnelling and sniping against soloQ players?
although I don’t agree with tunnelling I can semi understand if you felt (as you’ve said many times) it was something you use to offset against the advantage of survivors in swf, but it now appears you just want to have a total stomp. Is that fun?
