I suspect they play Nea because of Noob3.
That, or shes just naturally an icon of toxicity these days.

Honestly, I want to see the Battle Pass, I don't care about others opinions on it I sorta like the idea, more payment=Harder work
Did you mean to say "Hardwork = More Payment" or something? Cause the other way around makes no sense.

I know, but also why not just request a close and open a different thread? I guess it was because it was early enough on in the thread to change it but those first few comments are going to make no sense for anyone who didn't see the original post.
Right, at this point is too late so, either someone will just delete the thread or it will continue with all this confusion.
-
What?

@Kiskashi said:
Did you re-title this thread? I know what the first 2 replies were from and then the next two just confused me then I realised. I thought I just clicked on the wrong thread 😂
He probably saw my comment, realized this isn't the place to go talk about his ban, and retitled.
Which is good, he shouldn't be talking about bans on here, its not the correct place to do it.
You submit a ticket and take it from there to discuss it with BHVR's report team.
-
@HavelmomDaS1 Who knows.
-
Also, this isn't the place to talk about this.
Please submit a ticket to square away your ban.

This.

Edit: I just realized you can't buy Licensed Killers/Survivors with shards, so you must mean Auric cells, in which case as I said before.
Could result in the splinter still showing up as you didn't buy the full DLC for that Killer.
-
All maps, like The Game, Haddonfield, and Badham Pre-school need to be reworked to not be towards one side or another.
Most maps lean more towards one side, which should be the case they all shouldn't lean towards either side in-general.
-
At rank red, its usually 2-3 minutes.
Late at night EST time the rooms just flood in with Survivors, probably because most people who play this game wake up in the middle of the night to play.
-
As for this post, the concept of this is literally impossible.

@makayla when devs made SWF it was Biggest mistake in this game.
Actually no, facing them when I play killer can be annoying but its a needed thing in this game.
If you don't have friends playing with each other you'd see a lot less activity in the game in-general. Its a very necessary thing that this game had to put in.
-
Sadly this isn't COD, you didn't pull off the wombo combo 360 no scope head shot my guy.

Make your choice and Hex:Devour Hope
Use both without informations for the survivors.
I can't tell what hes saying because of how bad the English is. (Not throwing shade, I just couldn't understand him) but now I do.
For Devour Hope its necessary because of the exposed effect it gives off, if you don't get notified people might not know its Devour Hope in effect (Even though its obvious)
As for Huntress's and Make Your Choice, they should be changed to not notify people to make them more useful.
-
Devs please tell why survivors get info about killer's perks? For example unnerving presence, dying light, remember me.
Does it matter? It fills the loading screen with something to read while we wait 10 years for it to end.
-
It should be how it is right now, you grind shards to unlock the unlicensed killers/Survivors, and you pay real money for the Licensed ones.
Its fair for both the License holders, and in reality makes SENSE.
-
Gotta fix DCing in-general before we tackle this.
-
Is it just me? Or are sounds messed up again? Its gotten to a point to where I can't track downed survivors or injured ones. Its like playing deaf.
They've been broken for months, as per usual when an update happens.
-
Leatherface, horrible killer to use, and more annoying to face a basement build.
Every post chat from a Leatherface with a basement build has the Survivor(s) who died calling out their team for not dying to his insidious chainsaw.

You need to learn to be more concise. Your story isn't nearly as long as you make it out to be. Here is what you could have written "I live out in nowhere and have bad internet. Can I get banned for "lag switching" even though I don't intentionally do anything wrong?". The end. To answer your question, no, you should be fine.
Sorry bout that, but yeah I get what you mean.
-
Currently, when using your flashlight with the Ashy Slashy the flashlight will activate, but about 20 meters away from the actual source
Not Groovy.
-
I forgot to mention it could just be them lagging, but idk not with this game lmao.
-
We'll hopefully see you soon, and welcome you back with open arms.
-
I can understand your anger, people can be toxic sometimes and get on our nerves.
Its good to just ignore them and move on, its better for you to be the bigger person.
-
@not_Queen @Patricia @Peanits I forgot to @ you three, but I would like to know the answer to this as I don't want to get in trouble for something that I wasn't intentionally causing, it will help me avoid Killer for awhile till this gets cleared up as I would not want to be labeled a "cheater" or "lag switcher" by anyone I face.

I'm just gonna go full optimist and say, at least it ain't Loot boxes.
I wouldn't doubt that, THAT is the next thing on their radar.
-
It is how it is.
Some people like trolling others to feed of their reaction, the simple thing to do is ignore it and move onto the next match.
-
@KingB Regardless if it can be worked on simultaneously I don't agree with the practice.
People who struggle with impulse buying will get the pass, and anyone who wants a limited time skin but can't get it unless they fork over the money for the Premium pass will also buy it.
You can say its their fault for buying stuff out of impulse, which I will say you're right. But I don't agree with the idea of praying on people that don't know any better either.
One side will hate it, the other will like it. But ultimately it is not up to us, and it never was in the first place.
-
The games health is more important than a battlepass, but we'll see it come out regardless. Even if 60% 70% even 80% of the community is against it, it will come out.
Sad to say, but we'll see it regardless of what ANYONE says, its a gaming norm now to see battlepasses. So this isn't a surprise to me that this game will also have one.

Then the other two things below that would apply.

Most players won't have to deal with it because most players won't be d/cing every other game.
You cannot deny that the devs are already too lenient. At the very least, low priority queues should be a thing.
Right, you'd need to DC like 70% of your games to get a softban. So unless you're a known rage quitter you'll be fine.
-
Depends on your rank, and how many people are in that rank.
It could also be the time of day, or the platform you're on has longer killer ques than other platforms.

Pretty sure you'll be able to buy skins from the Battle Pass on an individual basis, assuming it comes out. It'd be silly to do otherwise, since you'll end up spending more money on the game that way.
Depends how they do this specific battlepass, but we'll see how it goes. I doubt they'd do ANYTHING different since the point of a battlepass is to progress in it to gain rewards.
If they did anything different it wouldn't be a "battlepass" it would just be a pass lmao.

No one put a gun to your head and said "buy this".
If you make compulsive and bad choices, that's on YOU. No one else.
Yeah, it is on you if you do that. But praying on the weak minded isn't justified either now is it?

@HavelmomDaS1 If they received already three past bans, then yea, their next DC ban would be a permanent ban. I'm pretty sure there are some.
@Gay Myers (Luzi) Having any number of soft bans is scary in-general. I'm sure they don't wipe the slate clean if the player was being a good killer/survivor do they?
If not, then yeah... its pretty scary to have one... (having two would put you in constant paranoia)

@Donnyc said:

@FireHazard I don't really understand the pressured part if you would explain It that would be helpful to me. And I personally prefer the shard system.
@Donnyc Lets say there's a skin you want, we'll make one up the "Jason Vorhees skin" for Myers. (Made up btw) and that skin was on the battlepass for a limited time, but you don't HAVE the premium battlepass... BUT you want the skin, you're then put into this state of pressure where you could miss out on a skin you want if you don't fork over the money. (The skins gone forever btw, its for this limited time)
That's why I call it "Artificial panic" its a scenario where you never cared for the battlepass before but suddenly there's a skin you really like that's on there... but you have to say spend "20$" for example to get the "Premium Pass" (The amount of money I used in this example is also made up)
I ask you, why would anyone support this business practice that (games I sadly can't reference for example) are doing to gain more money out of their consumers. Its shady if you ask me, and it amazes me anyone in the gaming community supports this...
-
@PolarBear said:
I'd personally just buy a cosmetic rather than buy the possibility to unlock it if I decide to play enough.
Same, I want a guarantee not a chance.
-
@Donnyc said:
So if you don't have the money to purchase a skin or DLC nobody else should be able to buy it?
If they have a special event with limited time skins and you don't have time to participate then nobody should be able to participate and get the skins?
No, the fact you're pressured INTO buying a limited time skin on a battle pass when you don't want to spend money is bad.
I never said people who don't have money who can't get limited time skins should also have everyone else not be able to get it, if you want to throw your money away than go right ahead its your money. But making others go through a panic because a skin they want will be gone soon is a no, no. And supporting it is exactly what they want you to do.

Alright, I'm going to tell you a big secret that "They" don't want you to know.
There is no big conspiracy to "wither down one's mental state". All there is, is companies using tactics that work to sell things because many people just can't say no. They have no impulse control. They have no self-control. They don't think before making a choice. And then they blame "Them" for their own bad decisions, like they're victims of anything other than their own lack of discipline.
Do you know what I do when I see an item on sale? A 2-for-1 deal? A €9,99 item? Absolutely ######### nothing. I don't need nor want that item on sale. I don't care if it's a 2-for-1 deal because I either only need the one or don't need it at all. €9,99? Too expensive - most of the miscellaneous crap I buy costs less than half of that per unit, and even then I weigh the pros and cons.
You want to know what's actually ######### people over financially and they have no control over? The hyper-accumulation of wealth, which always leads to major economical catastrophes. Well, unless the governments get the stooges (that would be everyone who's not in the 1%, if you're keeping up) to pay for it. And they do, which just perpetuates the cycle.
People having no self-control, however, is their own fault. Stop blaming someone else for the decisions you make.
I'm fairly neutral in this Battle Pass discussion - I think it's stupid, but I don't really care one way or the other - but your attempts to shift the blame for the financial decisions that people make is absurd.
The battlepass is like, the last thing we need. The games health is more important than a artificial panic they're trying to create on people that just throw money into the wind.
We need audio fixes, game-play changes, and other such things before a battlepass should be considered. Nothing they've done so far has fixed the bigger issue, its just band-aids on a severed arm...
-
@ClogWench said:
You're not forced to buy it and it's not game changing so there's no real problem.
You're missing the point, its a CORPORATE MOVE on players that are willing to just throw money away for exclusive skins. For the rest of us that don't have money to empty out of our bank accounts, we don't want to buy a battlepass or go through artificial panic for limited time skins that we want but don't have flexible income to spend.
It doesn't matter if its "F R E E guys its F R E E" Its a clear move from any game company to gather more money from its player base. I thought of all people you'd see this, but I guess not.
Yes, the battlepass is optional, but that doesn't mean ANYTHING. The same can be said to a alcoholic "Bro its just optional to do, you don't have to drink. its as simple as just stopping right now!" you realize there are mentally ill people that go through this as well right? People waste tons of money on stuff like this and can't even help themselves... Its just praying on the weak minded.
This mindset is just normalizing something that we don't need right now. The game needs fixes to its audio, game-play, and various other issues many people have addressed. A battlepass shouldn't be on anyones radar right now...
-
I fear for this games future...

@se05239 said:
I'll never understand why people willingly accept a "fear of missing out"-based subscription style monetization. Yeah, go ahead. Normalize this #########. Why not.
Voted No.
As long as the gullible consumer gets F R E E or limited time skins on a subscription system, then they don't care.
Kind of sad that every game company goes down this route...
-
As long as there are wallets to take money from, the battlepass will come.
I disagree with the battlepass heavily, it is not something we need right now. The games health is on the line currently, and this is just something that is wasting time on fixing said health.
Sadly, its going to come regardless if the community's majority is against it. As long as we have at least 30% even 20% that want the battlepass, it will accumulate enough money to equal the 100% of the community in no time.
Its a corporate move, they want to have players go through artificial panic for skins they want which are only available for a limited time (Or specifically limited to the battlepass) So expect this to come, its not going to stop... Sadly...
And to the argument that "oh its free stuff so you shouldn't complain" its a unnecessary move on pretty much all game company's to take as much money from gullible consumers as possible. The games health, is more important THAN this at the moment, but I guess if you sugar coat it with the word F R E E than the games health suddenly doesn't matter right?
-
I'd prefer the star of the movie Ghostface than not having him at all tbh.
Its a bummer that we're not getting a complete set, but its better than not having him at all.

They aren’t broken. They work, but the effect is so minuscule that they feel worthless. I remember Horvath or mcclean explaining this a a few times now
That's literally as if they didn't work at all lmao. ESPECIALLY for a Ultra-Rare Add-on like Award-Winning Chili...

I guess killing is toxic too, and winning.

If you got caught you got caught. Old Ds was balanced? How was a free escape balanced? If you can't play without old Ds or without MoM then I suggest you get better at the game.
Edit: Why? Just why would you want old ds back?
Most likely bait, nobody who isn't toxic agrees that Old DS was balanced. Literally nobody agrees it was balanced, just look at MoM. Its not as bad as Old DS but literally NOBODY likes it. (Unless of course... you're toxic...)
-
So I understand that current DS serve as a tool against filthy campers and tunnelers. Okay. I get and appreciate it. But old DS did it as well and even more.
Having old DS come back while MoM is still a thing = Good bye 90% of killer mains.
This isn't even a debate, its a definite no.

No, never, not in a million years.
