  • I really do like the new ruin. On some killers who can apply pressure it is extremely powerful.

I think most of you guys don't know how annoying old Ruin was to face on console. On PC I hit great skill checks no problem but on PS4 I can not hit a great skill check for the life of me. It feels like there is a 0.5 second delay when you press the button thus causing you to miss great skill checks. If you wanted to win on console you either had to gen tap or spend the match finding the totem.

  • Not to mention you have to use their default head in order to use it. I mean surely they could make it so you could use it on any cosmetic head piece as it just floats behind you rather than actually attaching itself to the head piece?

  • @redjasper said:

For the amount of info that BBQ and Chili provides, it makes the game much more easier with little effort. I understand it was added to give a reason not to tunnel and hook other survivors, but it actually rewards bad gameplay for the killer for no effort at all. A killer already knows somebody has to come and save the survivor and will gain more points staying near a hook searching for the survivors that is not being revealed by the perk.

You do realise half the time when survivors aren't revealed it's because they know to hide in lockers when it becomes obvious that the killer has bbq?

  • I wouldn't mind the crown so much if I could use it on any cosmetic head I own for survivor/killer.

Like fair enough if it was actually attached to the head but it legit just floats behind them. Surely that wouldn't affect different cosmetics too much?

  • @House22 said:

yes sure, so is this a bug? because on the trailer and in the gamenotes it doesnt say anything about not playing licenced characters.

    Capture.PNG

  • I mean I wouldn't mind it tbh. It's not something I desperately want but if Springtrap ever came out then I wouldn't mind it if the devs did it right.

I think the main concern is that it would bring the fnaf community over which last I heard was super cringe. However I think most of the Fnaf community have grown up now so less of the whole Foxy x mangle stuff and all that cringe. I'm not sure what the state of the fnaf community is rn. For all we know it could be a lot better or just the same as before.

  • @House22 said:

YES, ME TOO BUT THIS HAPPENED WITH ASHLEY WILLIAMS. ITS A BUG? or is because he does not have a head slot?

Ash is a licensed character, the crowns are not available for licensed characters :)

As some of you may know, I was tossing up whether to keep doing this summary thing, but I received quite a few requests for it and a good friend of mine talked me into this one. So you can thank him for this (or blame him, as the case may be).

As always, while I have tried to remain as true to the spirit of what was said on stream as possible without conjecture or elaboration, do bear in mind that the following is official information, unofficially worded, so please don't read too far into the particular phrasing of things. The exception is if something is enclosed in quotation marks " ", in which case it is quoted directly from what was said on stream, so read into that what you will.

If you would like to watch the stream for yourself, it is available only on Twitch this time.

You can find it at this link: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/654553802

The following members of the development team were featured on this stream:

Marilou (aka @Ribanne) - Community Manager

Ethan (aka @Almo) - Live Balance Designer

    Mat Walker - Level Designer

The stream opened with a screening of the Silent Hill Spotlight Trailer, followed by some announcements.

    Announcements

    • The Silent Hill DLC is out now on PC and console. Players can purchase the characters for Auric Cells in-game, or the full DLC on the Store of their respective platforms.
    • Today’s stream is a Q&A, but tomorrow the developers will be hosting another “Around the Campfire” stream, where different members of the development team play Dead by Daylight together and chat with the viewers on Twitch. This will be happening live on the official Dead by Daylight Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/deadbydaylight).
    • The in-game anniversary events will be commencing on June 23rd. More information will be available “when the time comes”. Starting today, anniversary raffles will be held in the official Dead by Daylight Discord server.

    Q&A

These questions were selected from a thread that the developers created on the forums prior to the stream, as well as from the Dead by Daylight subreddit.

    Questions About the New Chapter

Why does Trail of Torment reveal the generator’s aura? (from @Orion)

If this aura weren’t present, the survivors wouldn’t know that anything was happening. They want to give survivors an indicator that the perk is active. The aura reveal can also be used to the killer’s advantage, as survivors may become needlessly cautious, or put themselves in positions they otherwise wouldn’t and be caught off guard while focusing on the generator.

Will Pyramid Head’s perks be buffed? (Asked during the PTB by @Respectfulnancymain)

Some tweaks were made to the perks following the PTB, which mostly took the form of value adjustments. Forced Penance, for example, had its duration increased to 40/50/60 seconds, and it now grants additional bloodpoints for protection hits. Trail of Torment’s duration was increased to 16 seconds, and the cooldown reduced to 80/70/60 seconds, so that it may be activated more frequently. The duration of the Oblivious status effect on Deathbound has been increased to 60 seconds, and some improvements have been made to the way the perk’s activation status is displayed.

Are there any plans to add the cage skill checks to hooks? (from @Lycidas)

The developers aren’t sure yet, but they are considering it. They will be monitoring the mechanic’s performance – how many people fail the skill checks, how much time they lose, etc., as well as player feedback on the topic. They clarified again that they are not “dead set” on the current button-mashing mechanic, they simply want players to be interacting with the game in some way rather than doing nothing during the struggle phase.

Why did you go with Cheryl rather than Heather? (from @LordRegal)

(From Dave Richard, Creative Director): Cheryl was taken by the Entity following the events of Silent Hill 3, during which she changed her name from Heather to Cheryl.

Are there any plans to buff The Executioner? (from @geranium)

The developers were satisfied with the way the new killer operated on the PTB, and didn’t observe any major bugs or issues with his power which necessitated “dramatic” changes. However, they are closely monitoring his performance in the live game, particularly with regards to the Punishment of the Damned mechanic. From this, they will be able to determine whether his power needs adjustments and respond accordingly.

As always when a new killer is released, they received a huge amount of feedback and reactions immediately post-release, and they want to allow some time for players to get used to the new killer, learn how to play against him and level him sufficiently to be able to compare him fairly to the other killers, before they make any significant changes. Again, though, they will continue to read and process the feedback they receive.

What was the reason for picking things from multiple games in the Silent Hill franchise? (from @linoid)

(From Dave Richard, Creative Director): Those on the team involved with acquiring the license are big fans of the franchise, and as fans they wanted to be able to explore Silent Hill and its stories as much as possible. They took aspects from each Silent Hill game which they felt were most “iconic and interesting” and would fit best in Dead by Daylight.

The Creative Team felt that these selections were a good way to bring the two games together in a way that made sense.

What’s your favourite small detail on the new map? (from @Spengler)

Marilou: The corpse in the locker that pops out when you walk past.

Mat: The twitching bodies in the cages. This was a feature on which the animation, art, audio and level design teams all came together to collaborate. It’s very scary – in a freaky way, not in a jump-scare sort of way. It’s the kind of thing that you see a lot in Silent Hill, and has been “transformed” for Dead by Daylight.

Ethan: The bathroom with the girl crying inside a closed stall. It’s very creepy, and it’s in a relatively secluded part of the map, but something you encounter fairly often if you do venture in that direction.

Could the cages be changed so they are affected by Blindness? (from @zavch)

Objects related to killer powers are never affected by Blindness, because the ability to read their auras (or not) is a core part of the killer’s balance. For example, Pig has an add-on which inflicts Blindness and prevents survivors from seeing jigsaw boxes, which is part of the balance of her kit. This is why objects like these are shown in a white, rather than a red, aura, similarly to the Plague’s fountains or the Pig’s jigsaw boxes.

With the introduction of scripted events, like bodies falling out of lockers, are we going to get more of that in older maps or new maps? (from the live chat)

It’s not currently planned, but it’s a very popular feature – players like seeing it, and the developers like doing it – so they are thinking about working it into their schedule. Players can probably expect to see more of this sort of thing in the future.

    Questions about the graphics update

Will characters also get their visuals updated when the graphical update arrives? (from @Jota)

Some of the visuals will be gone over, but unfortunately they can’t go into details on this.

Are there plans to update facial animations? (from @Raidirar)

Again, it’s a lot of work with the amount of characters in the game, so they can’t give details now, but there will be more information available further down the track.

What kinds of animations are being changed in the graphics update? (from @PassarinoT)

All kinds, from survivor movements to interactions with objects. More details to come.

Will the graphics update change some tiles? (from @RomeroJane)

The Art Team has been working very hard at updating the visuals and bringing the game to the “next level”. The Level Design Team are working closely with them at the same time to improve the game in terms of both fun and balance.

Will the graphics update bring breakable walls to older maps? (from u/spiritjonie)

Yes – as mentioned, the Level Design and Art Teams are working together to improve the visual quality of the maps, and as part of this, they are looking into integrating breakable walls into older maps as planned.

Will the graphics update release all at once, or over time? (from u/mewysocks)

They have received a lot of questions like this about the update. They will be communicating “properly” about it and giving all the details on what’s coming at some later point in the future.

Are there plans for more gore? (from @Flatskull)

There are no current plans along those lines, but it is still being discussed internally. So, again, more details will be coming in the future.

    Miscellaneous Questions

Is The Clown getting any other changes? (from @DingDongs)

The developers have been monitoring Clown’s performance for a long time, and while they believe he is underrated in terms of strength, they acknowledge that the fact that it is not immediately obvious how to use his power most effectively is a problem. Due to time and resource constraints, they discovered that it wouldn’t be possible to make any major updates to Clown in the near future, so they found a change they could make that was simple but impactful to go into the most recent patch. They are currently looking into the possibility of improving his “viability” further, but they don’t have any concrete plans that they can announce at the moment.

Will we be able to mix and match legendary cosmetics? (from @Esskay)

This issue has been the subject of a lot of questions from players recently. For those who don’t know, legendary cosmetics are outfits in which all three pieces are linked, such that one cannot be equipped without the others. They can be identified by a unique symbol in-game.

The idea of legendary cosmetics is to represent “the fantasy of a character”, so it wouldn’t make sense to be able to mix them with pieces of what are essentially another character. They are also made differently to ordinary cosmetics, so things like clipping are not an issue as they would be if the outfits were made of separate components.

Will legendary outfits have their own voice? (from @Mooks)

This is a feature that the developers would love to implement. They haven’t been able to at this point, but if they are able to make it happen in the future, they definitely will.

Will there be a 104% Bloodpoint offering in the event? (from @TheNormalizer)

All of the event details will be revealed next Tuesday (June 23).

Will we ever see more contests like the cosmetic contest (for maps, music, charms, etc.)? (from @Inferno427)

In the case of things like maps or music, this is unlikely. There is a lot more that goes into creating these things than just the concept, which makes them difficult to construct a contest around.

Does Silent Hill mean that we could see other game characters? (from @Eris27100)

This has always been on the table – Bill, who originated from the Left 4 Dead franchise, being the other notable example. If the developers find another video game character that they feel would fit well in Dead by Daylight, licensing that character is definitely a possibility that they would consider.

Will there be legendary outfits that aren’t licensed? (from @colelema9)

This is something that’s being looked into. The team have a lot of amazing ideas along these lines, and these ideas will be brought to the game as their schedule allows.

Any update on the new matchmaking? (from @MiniPisa)

Tests with the new algorithm have already begun on certain live servers, and they are now beginning tests of the MMR system itself. If all goes well, the system will be released across all servers. There won’t be a patch required when this happens, but it will be announced on the forums.

For the past month or two, the MMR system has been running in the background calculating players’ MMRs (but not yet using these for matchmaking), so that the developers can gather data on how well the algorithm works at predicting the likely outcome of a match based on the players’ skill levels. Based on this data, they have been able to make improvements to the algorithm, and now they are doing limited practical tests using this algorithm to facilitate matchmaking. Once they are confident that the matchmaking is working as intended with the new system, they will roll it out across all servers and platforms.

    Final Comments from the Developers

Ethan invites players to share their feedback on the new perks in particular, especially on how they work in combination with existing perks. The best place to do this would be here on the official forums (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/suggestions).

Glad to hear your sticking with us Fibijean. The community wouldn't be the same without you :)

  • I only Prestige the characters that have none/barley any cosmetics on them such as Freddy, Leatherface, Myers etc.

  • I took a 3 month break from dbd as I honestly wasn't having fun and was just forcing myself to play it at that rate. Now that I have taken that nice break I am enjoying the game a lot more. Sometimes it's best to take a break from a game you are fond of. Otherwise you'll just end up wanting to play the game less and less to the point where you will never touch it again.

  • I hope so as I have my Billy Summer BBQ weapon on the PS4 version and I've been desperate to get it back.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/155436/hey-devs-just-wanted-to-say

That's wjhy i just watch the stream without comments on. Can't stand how childish the chat is

Ikr. I know people were excited to see the new killer and all but it's just plain rude. Devs already get enough crap to deal with and the one time they try to interact with their audience during a difficult time they get stuff like that thrown at them :(

  • What annoyed me the most was that they didn’t touch toolboxes at all so survivors took advantage of the ruin nerf and started bringing toolboxes every game I had as killer. I had one match where they all had the speed addons equipped, streetwise and prove thyself.

If they are gonna touch toolboxes somewhere down the line then they need to cap the speed on the toolboxes cause it’s ridiculous if 2 survivors get on a gen with toolboxes equipped. The gen gets done in 30 seconds

I believe his exact words were "I think so". So it's probable, but not actually 100% confirmed.

Ahhh, forgive me. It’s been quite a while since I watched the video :)

  • @underlord99 said:

Will we ever get rewards for ranking up?there's really no reason to rank up anymore . especially when you've done it dozens of times.

I remember a while back a youtuber called the king did an interview with one of the devs a while back and he did say that they were planning on adding rewards

  • I love cosplaying so I’d deffo cosplay as Trapper/Ghostface.

I did a Michael Myers one last year and my girlfriend went as the pig. Was a lot of fun and a lot of people liked our costumes

  • Playing as killer now requires you to sweat super hard to win. Survivor mains wouldn’t know that though because all they have to do is sit on a gen for 80 seconds. That’s why you see the comments saying “git good”

And of course let’s not forget if something does do well on the killer side then it must be nerfed/reworked because it’s not fun for the survivors

  • This game used to be somewhat scary back when it was darker and have a spooky atmosphere

now its too bright to be considered scary or spooky.

only thing that is scary is Myers and Ghostface

  • If a game goes bad for one player I will say gg and then a good luck in your next game to try and brighten their mood.

  • Lmao, they bug two killers so they are heavily set back now but the bug that affects flashlights is a buff XD

Even the bugs are survivor sided ;)

    jk

  • Sounds good but the problem would be that survivors would then cry for moris to be nerfed so if keys get reworked then so do moris.

Wouldn’t really matter for me personally as I don’t use moris but some people do

  • How dare a killer ignore a overused survivor perk. Not fair at all. >:(

  • This game doesn’t have long left with the way the devs are taking this game.

If this game does end then I hope it’ll teach the devs on what to do and not to do when they make a new game

  • Knowing the devs it’ll be a nerf they “forgot” to mention. After all the amount of survivors who cry about him because they had to use a few brain cells to play against him instead of just looping was too much.

Remember guys if it ain’t fun for survivors it’s gotta be nerfed

  • @Aura_babyy said:

This will mostly be directed to the Killer mains who have preven to be the most upset, as the outcry has snowballed from actual feedback to just plain nonsensical insulting.

*Survivors whined about Spirit and Nurse and they were gutted!

    - Yes, they were. Nurse and Spirit had the highest Kill ratio in the game, coincidentally, it was mostly because of ridiculously powerful addon combinations that just pretty much guaranteed you a win even if you were a potato.

*Survivors cried about Ruin constantly and that is why it was nerfed to the ground. You can hardly have a good match as a killer now because of gens going too quick. And some Killers needed Ruin in order to have a slight chance at the game ie. Clown!

    - Actually, Ruin was mostly complained about by both sides in amounts that are almost parallel to one another. Killers would complain that, A) Ruin was gone so early in the game. Or B) Good Survivors would just power through it, making it an useless perk against them. Survivors on the other hand complained about it's use in almost all of the games they played, and was a heavy punishment perk for mid to higher ranks ( most notably Console). As for Killers that "need" Ruin to get something out of a match, These are just Killers that should be the next target for reworks. I do not count Trapper and Hag as a Killer that needs Ruin though. They have extremely powerful late game potential and should make the most of it.

*Killers are the only ones to get nerfed, Ruin gets gutted and Survivors still have DS, BT, Adrenaline, and Keys!.

    - This is such an ignorant thing to say and you should never look at things for events that happen within a month - 3 month span. When Ruin was nerfed, hysterical killer mains fail to see what the future may hold and completely dismissed logical thought that changes to GENS or MAPS or how survivors INTERACT with gens would be introduced in due time. BHVR had made it known that with the changes to Ruin, they would be able to collect proper data and see where their focus should be at seeing as the players all have different opinions on it. By the by, if you take DS statistics and times it by X4, there is absolutely no way it should reach a margin of 45% use in ALL GAMES, Which was Ruin's percentage. Don't ignore what the devs could possibly be trying to achieve here.

*Devs are Survivor biased. No doubt about it.

    - Okay. This is a bit of an oddball one. This seems to change whenever each side is nerfed and the claims start to shift depending on what gets nerfed. In recent posts, a lot of people and some notable streamers have said that devs are really survivor biased. Now, the most common people you see from the BHVR team on the forums is @Peanits and @Almo . Whatever they post or respond to almost always seemed to be flagged as survivor biased or incompetency (being rude to someone who hasn't with you is what this was). I can assure anyone who bothered reading this that it is most likely not the Intention of these 2 lovely people to convey themselves as favoring one side. Could they change up their posts a bit so it is more polished and maybe cue in the playerbase as to more in the why and what the future plan is with an update is? Of course they can. But these are people, like us, that make mistakes and are not perfect or omniscient. We should also take note and remember that whatever Almo and Peanits say does not reflect the views of all of the development team. This is far too common of a bad habit, and we should look at past history as to why it's bad. Racial Stereotypes that were frowned upon and we managed to move past as a society is a good example as to why it's bad to place labels like we are doing now.

Anyway, Casing point... Can we PLEASE stop going at each other's throats, witch hunting the devs, and cursing those that wanna improve the game by just playing it and making constructive feedback?

I know it's too much to ask for people to leave behind the sarcasm and insults. This is not a thread meant to be provocative.

And for a different topic to think about while you are here. What's your favorite cookie? Mine are Oreos, they're devilishly tempting and I absolutely love them, goes great with any kind of milk.

If you actually listened to the reason why people didn’t like the nurse changes was because they nerfed her basekit by putting a cooldown on top of a cooldown. That’s fun isn’t it???

We all agreed that nurses addons were too strong but the devs outright lied about just changing her addons, that’s why we were upset.

  • This game is a shadow of its former self. The devs are incompetent 80% of the time, bugs and balance problems can take months to get addressed and it feels like they care more about people’s wallets than the actual health of the game.

Until the devs get their act together I won’t be spending any more money on this game. I am quite tough on the devs but that’s only because I want the game to grow and become better.

  • The main problem is when you play killers like hag, tier 1 Myers and huntress who take longer to get to the other side of the map. Also trapper needs time to get his traps and place them. By the time he has picked up two traps, a gen or two would have already been popped.

It's not a competetive game. It has no ranked or competetive mode.

Second, if you had read ALL of what i wrote, youd see where I stated that it's not perfect, but does its job better than not existing. It will never be perfect, but having it not exist is 10x worse.

Read all and think before trying to attack my very logical point next time. Thanks.

The whole point of ranks is to separate bad players, good players, and pro players.

Im sorry but when a game can’t get ranks right then you know for a fact that there’s something wrong. Do you think it’s acceptable how a low rank player can be paired with a pro player?

  • @Carpemortum said:

    Matchmaking tool.

    THAT IS LITERALLY ALL.

I've said it 100 times. It does nothing other than attempt to match people more accurately. No reward. No season. No nothing.

    Just. A. Matchmaking tool.

There are too many second chance perks tbh. That’s why it’s so easy to play survivor you can mess up so many times but it’s no big deal where as for killers if they mess up, that’s it. Game is pretty much over.

A tool that doesn’t do its job properly and screws over everyone. How is that acceptable in a ‘competitive’ game???

  • @OtakuFreak said:

When is this perk going to be fixed? It is intended as a defensive perk for survivors when a killer tunnels them. As such, it is essentially an ''anti-tunnel'' perk yet it benefits the survivor even outside this context.

I propose these changes for the perk, in order to ensure it stays in the role of ''anti-tunnel'' and not ''anti-momentum'' or 60 seconds of invincibility:

    1) Decisive Strike immediately deactivates upon another survivor being hooked. The killer directly chasing, downing and hooking another survivor (even if it's within a minute) is not considered ''tunnelling'' and thus, DS should deactivate.

    2) As a defensive perk, it should allow a survivor a chance to escape and regain their bearings (i.e escape, heal). As such, any aggressive actions such as: unhooking other survivors, repairing generators, or stunning the killer immediately deactivate the perk.

    3) Should a survivor hide inside a locker and be picked up, Decisive Strike's effectiveness will be weakened by 50% (to 2.5 seconds of stun). As this strategy ensures a stun, it is reasonable for the strength of the strategy to be weakened.

Thoughts? I'm pretty adamant on the first two being absolute. Perhaps the third one is negotiable... but then again hiding inside a locker with no counter play isn't entirely fair.

Are you saying we should nerf a heavily used survivor perk? What sort of madness is this. Just for that I’m going to tea bag you at the exit gate and let you down me so I can stun you with DS. GG EZ

Yep same for me.. Im having a break from game.. Sometimes i have that feeling like Hmmm maybe one game as killer ? Then i december all problems and all that crap in this game and im.good ... Its sad

Nothing sucks more than jumping on what was once your favourite game only to remember the amount of issues that’s going on with it so you get put off from playing it :/

  • @honestlybaffled said:

At the moment, none I guess.

It’s not like SWF take their rank 20 buddies into rank 1 killer games anyway, that would be crazy ;)

  • @TKTK said:

Matchmaking not working, swf matchmaking, rank reset not setting potatoes far enough, it's all a big mess. Hopefully they revert the swf matchmaking and the rank reset cause it's just watering down red ranks more and more.

The rank reset change was one of the dumbest decisions ever

  • @BeanieBoyBob said:

Rank doesn't matter in the game right now, there's no incentive to Rank up either other than to have unfun and troublesome games. There's so much that needs to be resolved with matchmaking right now that I'm in the middle of a break away from the game until it will eventually get sorted (along with other issues).

I’ve had to take a huge break too tbh because the amount of issues that are present is just unbearable at this point.

  • Should be renamed to survivors can't get 5 gens done in under 5 mins time to nerf something tbh

or survivors aren't having fun time to nerf

  • Killers are allowed to have strong things... just like SWF are allowed to have 4 toolboxes with 2 speed addons equipped...

Only thing I would say to change about IR hatchets is to make it locked to 1 hatchet regardless on what addons you are running.

  • @johnmwarner said:

I see post after post, thread after thread made talking about the matchmaking ness right now. Screenshot after screenshot of a rank 12 killer going against all red rank survivor.

Last night as a solo survivor my team was all rank 1-2 and we had a rank 17 trapper... the guy literally got zero downs.

But the devs haven’t made a post or Twitter about it. Haven’t responded about it. In fact I actually saw one hop into a thread about matchmaking and reply to a quote about killer balance (trapper vs Billy,) while completely ignoring the actual thread topic.

So is BHVR dead set against even acknowledging this problem anymore? @Peanits are they all still on Christmas break? What is the plan because it’s not fun to steamroll a killer like that and I can’t imagine it will keep them coming back either.

And please don’t say they’ll learn to get better, the gap between 17 and 1 is way too big for them to be learning much, even with how inflated red ranks have gotten. And if you try to tell them something endgame chat you get accused of being mean somehow.

The devs always completely ignore the actual question on the post and respond to someone asking a completely off topic question on that post.

    Example:

OP: "BHVR the new ruin changes are really bad can you explain why you did this?"

    BHVR: ….

Random dude: "I bet it's really strong on Billy"

BHVR: @random dude "it is :)"

  • @NoShinyPony said:

BHVR is a company that wants to earn money, not a charity. From a financial point, it makes sense to focus on survivors (a lot more survs playing than killers), and especially on new survivors, because new players haven't bought all the existing DLCs and cosmetics yet.

As long as the playercount and earnings stay constant or even grow, there is no reason for BHVR to change what they are doing.

That's no excuse for not treating killer players like they do with survivor players. Every player matters and at the end of the day we ALL payed for this game so the devs should treat both sides equally. If one side feels neglected then that side will move to a game that cares about them. Killers leaving = no matches for survivors

Lot's of people have asked about the sound issues. I think what you mean is that the devs are not addressing it.

Why should calm spirit counter the doctor completely?

Why should urban evasion directly counter hag?

Why should small game indirectly counter trapper/hex perks?

There's nothing wrong with perks that counter other perks.

Cause survivors don't like it when a killer perk counters a survivor perk. It's not fun for them ;)

  • Every Steve I see is either a potato or an overconfident cocky player who either dc's cause he gets caught or purposely tries to get the killer to rage quit by tea bagging and then if that doesn't work they insult the killer at end game chat.

  • I feel like with the new rank change Ruin was the only way you could learn a new killer without having to worry about being dominated in 5 mins flat. it bought you a bit of time to figure out how the new killer powers work.

I honestly think the devs should have compromised the ruin nerf by either removing the speed addons on toolboxes or made it cap at a certain number

  • Overwatch is worse IMO. All it takes is for someone to choose someone else's main and the other player will be like "OMG I'm better at soldier than you, I'm throwing cause we've already lost"

One of the main reasons why I left that game. The other being lack of content.

as oppose to 2 million posts about how killers are right and devs are wrong?

Looks like someone’s trying to get that sweet trusted role by telling the devs exactly what they want to hear ;)

  • @Peanits is this something you guys would consider though as honestly the tutorial in this game is the worst tutorial I have ever seen a game have. It explains practically nothing. Hell I’m sure the community would happily write a new tutorial for you guys that you could use.

  • Isn’t this your 4th post now about how killers are wrong and the devs are always right?
