If your good enough Whispers is better than any aura reading perk because it's on all the time and there is no hiding from it.
-
You know it's funny. When most survivors actually try to play killer they start to realize most of the stuff were complaining about has actual reason behind it.

Oh my God, someone still wanna nerf for DS. :( It is already weak perk lol
There's plenty of killer perks that suck and survivors still want them nerfed. Does this really surprise you? There's no satisfying the community.

probably won't, but all we can do is just hope for the best. I think Boycott got ignored, we basically don't have any power over it, so all we can do is just hold tight and hope for the good
Id mention his name but it will probably get my post deleted. A certain youtuber named after a tropical fruit posted a video that kind of showed some affects of the boycott.

No

I guess I never noticed the grind because I've had the game for 4 years. I unlocked all the perks over a long period of time. When a new killer/survivor comes out I'm free to pour everything into them. I also run WGLF and BBQ all the time. I do agree the current bloodweb is too much for new people and needs to be overhauled.

We already have health chapters, they're called mid chapter patches, we get 4 of them a year
Considering how often this game breaks, 4's not enough.
-
Id rather see a health chapter.

Instead of gen speeds I feel the real problem is not all killers have mobility or ways of applying pressure. If you can down people quicker or you can get somewhere fast to push them off a gen, then your going to have a better chance than a typical M1 killer. This is why certain killers are meta.
This game puts extreme importance on how fast you can make that first down and chase someone else. Think about it. When a match starts say
4 people are each on a gen.
You find someone to chase. 3 people on gens
You hook someone. 2 people on gens one going for the save.
Before the save is made you chase someone else. 1 person on a gen, 1 on a hook, 1 being chased and 1 going for the save.
When you hook someone and chase another survivor you go from 3 people on gens to 1. The sooner you can do that before they pop 3 gens the better. Often by the time you find and down 1 person 3 gens are completed. I feel this is the main problem with the game. I would really like the see this early game warm up idea the devs pitched years ago but haven't heard anything since.

I've seen on occasion facecamping killers DC because we the other 3 actually do gens and rush them as fast as possible
If BHVR ever brings back the DC penalty the amount of killers dcing will plummet. For that to happen they have to actually fix the game though.

The argument does not mean that you gain lots of blood points and pip. You just want out the match asap without rewarding the Behaviour.
The main point in doing this is about denying the player who does that blood points and pip and hopefully it shows them its not a great strat.
This. So many killers face camp because a lot of survivors fall for it. It only works if you stop doing gens or rush the hook. If you punish the killer eventually they will realize "this isn't working. I better try something else". If you don't "do gens and get out" then the killer is going to keep camping.

Console fix is going up next Tuesday I'm sure it will be back with the update.
Fix? BHVR doesn't "fix" anything when it comes to console. They put a band aid over it and say "give me money!".
-
I don't think the dc penalty is coming back anytime soon -.-

When I was playing Evolve Stage 2 a friend I met on that game suggested it.

Blood Warden. If you teabag at the exit gate you deserve to get sacrificed. No one likes a sore winner.

It is when you do it right. Did you know it's possible to camp TWO hooked survivors, 4 gens AND a totem all at once? It's true; I do it semi-frequently. If you camp skillfully, you can ensure someone stays on the hook while defending.
If you have 2 people hooked close together then yes camping is a good idea. If I got 2 people in the basement with 3-4 gens left, I ain't leaving. I'm not against the idea of camping. I wipe my ass with the survivor's rule book for killers. If it is in the killer's best interest then go for it. However it's not always such a good idea. If you face camp the very first person you hook that will get you a lot of kills against potato survivors. Once you start facing survivor's with brains in their heads, they know to leave that person on the hook and do gens.

Nah, camping always has and always will work. I do it consistently and rarely does it fail, because Survivors simply will not m let a teammate die.
Camping only works if survivors rush the hook or stop doing gens. It was never a sure win tactic. If that were true then virtually every killer would play that way.
-
I predict the game breaks upon launch
-
If you got to r1 by just camping. Then the iq of survivors has dropped immensely. When i hit r1 before the current pip system, if you camped at purple rank you only got 1k.

It's actually a pretty good perk. It lets you see someone who fast vaulted so you can try to get a shot off where you normally would have to guess.

This bug hinders killer, therefore they won't fix it. Ever. I'm still waiting for the fixes to nurses blinks since her rework 2 years ago.

If you play the game the way it was intended, it's balanced. Once you git gud and play to win, it's broken.

It is sad to say this, but I think what happened with Patch 1.9.2 was a one time thing.
That was easily BVHR's worst decision ever, and the backlash was so intense that they admitted they were wrong and reverted almost everything (Nurse's pallet stun thingy is still in the game).
I don't understand how hard it is to do the same thing with Billy and Freddy. Admitting that you made a mistake is not a bad thing, it is actually a very good one.
I think old MoM was a close 2nd. That was definitely a "######### were you thinking? "moment. Though with Ash they probably did that deliberately for more $$$. I've seen tons of games release a new character that is OP then after the sales die down. They get hit with the nerf hammer.

You more or less just admitted that overheat has failed to do its job.
So like I said How often billy used his power was never and has never been an issue.
Billy is the perfect example of a killer with an unnecessary restriction added to them that makes them less fun because the developers have gotten an obsession with them.
They KNOW billy's changes was a mistake which is why you don't see all the BS they pulled on him done to anyone else in reworks.
They are just to prideful to admit it and revert it.
If they revert a change it's admitting they were wrong. They very rarely do that. /coughPatch1.9.2cough
I'm probably in the minority here but the one thing I like about his rework is he can't loop me with his chainsaw revved the entire time. I had a problem when Billy's never M1. People kept saying "Just 360" but I found that only works on noob Billys. Even if I like the fact he can't do that anymore I still would have the change reverted. There are only so few killers that are viable against swfs.

Haddonfield is a huge issue with a lot of killers. It's unbalanced and survivor favored with the set up
The only killer that might benefit on Haddionfield is trapper. Certain rooftops can only be disarmed if they vault the window and step in them. Other than that, the map is very survivor sided.
-
If I had top guess id say Bubba because a good amount of Bubba players are face campers.
-
If I "like" going against a particular killer than I am not afraid of that killer and needs to be buffed.
-
I was Nurse on Ormond before her rework.
I hook someone in the corner. BBQ reveals someone in the opposite corner so I blink through the building to go to them
As I am going through the building I see a Claudette crouched in the corner. I change targets and go after her.
In end game chat she asked "How did you know I was there?"
"I didn't. I was going after someone else and I just happened to see you"
Their response is why I treat survivor mains like babies. "I'm Claudette. The only way you could see me is if you are hacking REPORTEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD"
I'm not exaggerating. They used that many D's to try to make their statement logical.

There is no new ban system yet
As to what everyone is so scared of, people are petrified by the name (since unless I missed something, BHVR hasn't said anything else except the name of it). People are under the assumption based on the name that if you get reported X amount of times, you are automatically banned from the game.
The only people afraid are the ones that deliberately do stuff that warrants a ban.
-
A similar perk that makes zero sense, furtive chase. What is the point of a smaller tr during a chase? If it was reversed it would be useful.

Nurse. There's nothing quite like hearing that scream and realize you're about to meet your match (or your maker). It saddens me that many people want her nerfed instead of embracing the different gameplay and learning how to counter her.
Same. If survivors had their way, every killer would be M1 only that can easily be looped.

wdym? DBD forces a ranked mode, so surely they want people to play to win?
No clue what wdym is but what I mean is. When you first started playing dbd you weren't running immediately to a gen. You were sneaking because you were actually afraid of being spotted by the killer. Gens weren't being rushed, killers weren't being pressured to eliminate someone right away. By playing the game the way it was intended to be played at first, the game was closer to balanced. Now we run straight to a gen each, we don't care if the killer see's us, we even get in his face sometimes because we have DH+plenty of pallets.
-
I remember seeing a video that was comparing DBD and Evolve. Sadly I can't find it but the main argument was
The game works when it is played the way the devs intended. When you start playing to win it falls apart.

I mean this is also the first time that it has significantly impacted their design department. They've actively needed to make the RPD map look worse in order to make it playable.
I think some swarming is going to be done on the optimization front.
I do give them a slight pass on the RPD map. There probably wasn't a whole lot of say on their part. Capcom probably insisted the map would like just like the game. However this is not the only chapter where BHVR broke the game. Not in the slightest. I do feel BHVR should have stress tested this chapter before releasing it.
-
You can't factor in skill. I've seen a lot of players, both sides, at red rank and they absolutely suck.

Nope. They can add DC penalties after fix crash problems. Also this is not seem fair, console players can dc without penalty but pc players will have penalty?
We just can hope they will fix this problem soon.
The thing is. Stuff like this happens EVERY, SINGLE, PATCH. It's become so common that it is the norm. A game should not be run like this. This game has only lasted as long as it has because there is no real competition. The devs know this and they have become complacent. Whatever they do to the crashing problems. I can guarantee it's not going to "fix" it. It's going to "help" but not solve the problem. Like putting a band aid over a severed limb.

Not to burst your bubble but until they actually fix the console version to work "as" good as the PC version, don't get your hopes up. Console version was a literal cash grab. They won't spend money to make it work as good as PC unless they have too. The devs are notorious for putting band aids over a problem instead of actually fixing it.

More Like it was taken off the store because cdpr were offering refunds and Sony has a no refunds policy
There are way buggier games on the psn store and they have yet to be taken off the store if you want examples just buy a couple of those ones that are usually on sale 99% of the time at dirt cheap prices also lets not forget about life of black tiger
I bought a PS4 when the shut downs started so I could play some of the exclusives I missed out on over the years. I tried the Playstation Now feature and it's bad. Sony requires you to connect to their servers and run it off their platform. Half the time it lost connection or lagged. Microsoft's Gamerpass lets you download the game to your platform and run it off that instead. Sony is falling behind IMO.

That’s the thing when it hit theaters it made a lot of money but nobody liked the theatrical cut the ultimate cut was the better movie
True but my point is the amount of money it makes doesn't mean it was a success. More like it made a lot of money because it was hyped up and people still pre-order without thinking. I've gamed long enough to be disappointed numerous times. Which is why I rarely pre-order anymore. If EPIC pulls their 1 year exclusive crap on a game I wanted to play I'll wait out the year because I don't want that launcher on my PC.

CP2077 did not flop, just for the record. It sold quite well, on every platform. That it didn't immediately become the best-selling game of all time doesn't mean it was a flop.
Just because it sold well at release didn't mean it was a success. Batman vs Superman sold well the first week in the movies and look at how many people bought that when it hit blu-ray.
-
Cyberpunk had a huge budget compared to DBD. DBD was expected to be a small game and it took off. Cyberpunk was hyped up for years, was pushed back several times and it still flopped. IMO Cyberpunk is worse because they had the money to make a great game.
