"That taught me at every damn pallet"
I know this is a typo, but it just makes me imagine the survivor hitting the killer saying "how many times o we have to teach you this lesson, old man?" Lmao
Yeah no idea why it went to that lol, but these games are something else. I hate that cheating is so easy and apparently theres no system to track that someone is using more than 4 perks.
It's bad enough how sweaty these games are, I dont play to sweat and lose by a huge margin. I dont mind things being a challenge but these games have physically been impossible as the killers I'm playing

Well ... from my solo survivor games (maybe 30 since march 28th) I escaped maybe ... 4 or 5.
We get way too strong killers.
Matchmaking isn´t working for solo queue , too.
Game only works for swf.
Been the opposite for me even as survivor, all killers have been completely stomped unless it was a nurse then a few got 1/2K.
But these survivors are a joke, it's so clear they're calling stuff out and mega sweating against basic attack killers or the hackers who think they're subtle running more than 4 perks... like I have played this game 5 years, you cant pretend they arent 😂 such a joke
-
Well I cant... they're making sure they die at the end so i rank up and they drank to verse new players...
Like how does the system not detect more than 4 perks getting used 🙄

I can see the add on. That's scratched mirror.
Oh I never checked the actual image I just assumed. Damn this guy really using 110, no extra lunge with a wasted perk and some other weak ones and someone still being toxic lol
-
Freddy was never strong, he only really became a threat when undying moved hexs to every totem.
Hes just not a very strong killer especially as you go higher in skill. Having said that the rework just killed him, pointless and useless addons (most only work when in dream and they honestly are just bad) and then his base kit was also nerfed, such as invincibility to falling asleep for X time etc.

Probably vanity mirror, usually scratch has PWYF due to the slow speed while vanity dont need it

Well i saw scratched mirror Myers several times in the last few "which killer don't you like to verse" threads.
Surprised me as well since Mikey is only viable on a few maps this way and easy prey on most others thanks to the slow movement.
Yeah that shocks me, I never get to verse it sadly :( definitely a fun build to verse in my eyes and mixes it up.
I commented trapper on them posts, always a darn trap everywhere I go 😂 I just wanna do abit of looping lol
-
@burt0r said:
People already dislike jumpscare Myers.
I don't think the devs will introduce a second one.
Even if that is the MOST fun playstyle of all, to see them suddenly jump off their gen and starting to run XD
Imagine hating a jump scare myers lol, what has this world truly come to

- See Survivors Aura's while in Night Shroud and stalking within a range of 32 metres.
- Reduces Night Shroud cooldown by 14 seconds.
- You can no longer mark Survivors with the stalk ability.
This would truly be a hit'n run jumpscare Ghostface Add-on which would also be quite interesting.
I'd honestly love it, jump scare is always a fun thing to do, sadly I'm running out of offerings for myers to keep doing it lol

Edit: I actually need this, let me scare streamers and make montages D:

As for yesterdays reward, that would depend if you already had the Jake outfit - also, there's no pop up for that so you'd need to check under the character.
Okay I'll try logging in again later on to see if I get the BP, ill also have to check if I have it already. I own quite a few outfits so iv probably over looked it

I guess people using VPNs to avoid DDOS attacks deserve a ban.
I mean yeah... sorry but everyone has servers to connect to. Millions of players do it without an issue or need to be on a server way out of their range.
Other games stop people doing it (halo) and its certainly for the better, VPN just results in bad gameplay and that can happen for either side.

@GoshJosh said:
Do you find five/seven rush token Blight acceptable? If so, why?
No I didn't mind it at the time, but then I felt like ranking was better and less watered down (SBMM just isnt working as survivor) and back then crossplay wasnt a thing so I versed console nurses with no filters etc. Which certainly made it easier.
Never seen a 7 rush blight, is that the one that makes you unable to turn? Because if so that's why I never see it lol its awful. Only blights I see are double speed or green speed with alchemist, I dont mind that but it's a coin toss if my team is up to my/the killers skill
-
@Adaez said:
Do you think its possible or not?
Hard to say, probably not though
I have everyone with every perk (only a few have prestige) and I'm only like D9 or something, but a majority of it was done before devotion was a thing.
The grind is certainly much less, but it would depend on if you play once you have maxed things or you wait for events, tomes etc.
But no I doubt it
-
I'd expect it to be around the years anniversary or after. Changes take awhile even if it's just a change to the distance.
I personally cant wait, DH has been far too common, free and easy to use. I cant wait to pick up some basic attack killers more when it drops
-
The real issue is survivor MMR isnt based on their skill it's based on escapes...
While the killer has more control over their MMR the survivors do not, if your team dont do anything you die, if a killer wants to hard tunnel and camp you, you die.
A single survivor has no control over their mmr, while playing good will increase the chances survivor MMR is still down to teammates and how the killer decides to play.
SBMM sucks. Waiting longer isnt gonna help it.

Unfortunately, yes, that is what seems to be required.
Thankfully I have nvidia shadowplay on, and it's as simple as pressing 2 buttons to save the last 10 minutes of the match, which I must then upload to go along with the in-game and website report. It couldn't get any more difficult to properly report cheaters, and it's almost as if the reporting system was made to put enough barriers in place to prevent people from effectively submitting reports.
Yeah I'm on console and our captures are limited so if I make a capture it could delete some important ones I wanted to keep.
Not to mention I then have to download it again to upload it. Reporting is awful and even worse for console

I dont even know why DBD switch and mobile exists tbh 😂 at least mobile is on it's own, never played the switch so I'm not able to compare sadly
-
If they're within close range and theres no wall or objects in the way it will injure in 1 use (this can be done over pallets and windows)
If a crow passes through an object they will get a murder of crows on them (you usually see the white aura of lots of crows on them) hitting them again while this is active will injure them even if its through a wall. This can be done at any distance.
If a survivor runs into a crow they will get a murder of crows on them and can then be hit through a wall with another crow and will injure them.
You can also apply a murder of crows and injure them in one use, this requires alot of setup and the crows must have a decent distance between them. The distance must be infront/behind and not side to side.
Hope this helps! Btw murder of crows basically means a group/swarm
-
I wish there was a better way of reporting these things... am I really meant to record every game I play to "catch" and stop cheaters ...
-
Leave. That music and style is cringe to me, I like lots of styles and languages but not trickster or how hes portrayed in the trailers

You'd have to deal with DH anyway without tablet, though. Running it just means you don't have to do The Plague Dance™ of running around a rock while trying to vomit on someone for 10 seconds to infect them.
And if they don't run DH, they're just beaned. And if they cleanse early enough, you just win.
I never chase round a rock to infect someone, if I waste that time iv lost already lol.
I always vs 3or more DH, I'm just saying it's an okay addon but she has better imo

Not really much bhvr can do without giving blight, console controls.
I'd be okay with that, I dont feel one should be far above the other just due to platform.
@The_Krapper said:
It's the controller that causes this, it's not that they make PC better on purpose but with the way the controls work on keyboard and mouse you're gonna undeniably have a big sensitivity advantage and that's more on the console manufacturer for having a limitation like that to their controller, but at the same time PC runs the game smoother I could take the same controller I play on console with and hook it to PC and it will still give me a slight sensitivity advantage, the hardware is just that much better on a gaming PC that sensitivity and frames run smoother, not to mention most of the blight players that do what you're saying have a DPI mouse on top of that
It's not that my console system is bad, in fact my series X has more power than my pc (I'm not a huge pc player just have it for PTB, other games etc.) So I do feel it's down to the actual input. It's a shame because the stuff I can actually do on my PC is pretty nutty, wish I could do it on console and I'm sure many other console players do
-
Doesnt do much when everyone just stays injured and all have DH to fix mistakes.
Is an okay addon though for sure, I like running an apple. Having those extra pools can really help on tougher maps or high skilled players

It is. Most other games have the same issue with "ports".
Gonna have to agree with @El_Gingero on this.
It shouldn't be acceptable for one device to be better than every other especially when theres limitations on options such as crossplay etc.

I still don't understand why the gave up on the emblem system (had its flaws but incentivized all aspects of play) to use this black and white system "escape gud and kill gud, everything else bad"
Me either, all they had to do was tweak it and have a people reset further back like before the change or just remove safety pips...
I honestly miss the old system so much, I was never punished unless I was face camped which was actually so rare unlike now where its actually more common for me

Your mmr may is not low, you don't know. MMR is weird for me anyway. I have garbage teammates sometimes after so many wins. And after couple wins i can get some new survivors. MMR is just not working.
And it makes solo-q worse.
@Marc_123 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2865497#Comment_2865497
It is. After many wins your escape rate goes up - the MMR aims for 50% wins and escapes.
So you have to lose some games after a win streak. Good way to do this is give you bad teammates.
THat is at least my feeling. Because i have the same.
If i escpae some games in a row i get a god killer or worse teammates. As killer i can dominate some games and the get some death squads.
I had about 80% escape rate at one point but dropped to about 72% after a bad morning but the past 2 days iv escaped like 2/36 or so...
Like the killers arent that amazing and my team is even worse. Like I'm losing to no gen defense killers when I'm doing chases for minutes each chase.
I'm so glad iv got a new game coming out tomorrow, this is why I cant enjoy DBD much, the bad ranking and DCs ruin it for me

I think the devs said they’re doing something for MMR regarding DCs but knowing BHVR I wouldn’t take it seriously until it’s actually implemented and is proven to work properly.
By the time that happens I'll be the lowest possible 😂 it's just frustrating knowing I'm losing just because people are walking round the edge of the map avoiding gens or I get DCs early game so winning is near impossible
-
@GannTM said:
Yeah if your goalie quits the hockey game, it automatically makes you and the rest of the team bad.
I feel like iv gone from the soft cap down to new players at this point... but its physically not possible to escape with the players I'm getting or in a 3v1.
People are giving up verse legion... LEGION... it's so depressing at this point that my mmr is tanking because I'm versing newer killers and the game expects me to do all gens, chases and escape :(

@DriplordDrew said:
Honestly as a survivor main I only dc when my power or something out of my control happens and if bans were harsher I would quit because if I got a heavy punishment for this I would think wow not fair. That being said if I am first found and my three teammates are in the corners crutching I am killing my self on hook. If the killer is just hanging out beside me I'm killing my self on hook. I am not responsible for your fun if I am getting camped and not having fun I leave in a legit way and move on. If someone dcs or kills them on hook its not personal it is just they owe you absolutely nothing. Cry some more about DCing and then cry even more when the punishment does not fit the action.
If you dont DC often it wouldn't affect you.
I do find it funny how it's always new accounts and people say "but what about power cuts" like come on you dont get power cuts multiple times a day every day... and if you do why should I be forced to play with you to ruin my experience.
STOP MAKING EXCUSES.
-
@sumps1 said:
People will then just die on hook. Had it happen in my first game on. Someone got hooked first, killed the selves on hook as I was about to pick them off. The killer came and I literally just stood there and killed my self because what’s the point?
it needs to be looked at more WHY people are dc’ing so much. Personally the rise I’ve seen in camping & tunnelling this past week has been crazy. Killers moan about DH, DS, BT but the reason most survivors run that is because of camping tunneling etc. I change my perks to something fun for one game and get tunnelled out. Leaving me no choice but to run those perks if I actually want to play a game. Both sides are toxic af and a fair few things need to be adjusted for a better experience on both sides.
They're dcing because they're pathetic kids who cant handle going down or versing certain killers.
The devs cant change bad and salty players...
I'm sure they can put in systems to kick and ban people who go AFK etc.
Or at least group them together so rage quitters play with other rage quitters
-
I'm still seeing starstruck, agitation and infectious nurse players :(
-
I'd like some 112% for like hag or death slinger.
120% is a scary as thought. Gf and pig should move 115% crouched.
-
Versing doctor?
Iv had 2 twins in the past month odd, 0 doctors in 6months 😂
-
@Mandy said:
I think it's fairly subjective as well...I always have a high sensitivity and I play killer with a high sensitivity as well. It's what I'm used to playing with, however I have a friend who uses a lower sensitivity even with Survivor and he's a better player than myself and and he can loop, 360 etc even with that lower sensitivity, it's just what he's used to playing with.
I feel input is the real deciding factor, for whatever reason I can't do high sensitivity on a controller (it's at 70 on DBD) any higher and I'm all over the place aiming, bit like a bobble head in a 4x4 in off road 😂
On a mouse though I can crank the sensitivity up much higher and have success. I feel this is for most games too, but I love the controllers interaction and its comfort.
-
From my experience twins is more common at a very low mmr, I hardly see them either but everytime i have seen one my team has no clue what's going on 😂
Probably just a coincidence but I definitely feel to get certain killers my team certainly isn't as strong

I mean, if you know the +40,000 players then that's how you can say the vast majority... your experience is not the same as everyone else.
You're right, silly me. It's so obviously power cuts and wifi issues every time a survivor gets down fast, tunneled etc.
And those people who quit and have said why they quit are the very small minority and 99% of DCs are clearly accidental issues
-
Old unused posted edited to a new purpose :)

Yes I do, I can physically see them go down and rage quit.
You can also message them and their responses are pathetic. If you dont want to play the game just uninstall it, simple.

And those aren't reasons that can be fixed. Some people are petty and will quit for those reasons regardless of what penalties are in place.
In which case increasing the penalties would likely do very little beyond more harshly punishing the other players who don't really deserve it (and also empowering cheaters who take matches hostage).
Rather than increasing the current penalties (especially the "initial" ones of 5-15 minutes), I'd instead suggest they add a slower penalty decay for repeat offenders.
Ie, if someone quits often enough to build up to 30+ minutes penalties on a regular basis (even after letting the system reset back down to the 5-min penalty), then the system will start to wait longer before dropping their penalty increment.
So if it would take let's say 3 days for the penalties to "reset" back down to 5-min increments (from the 30-min increment), then a repeat offender might have to instead wait a week to get back down to that point. And All the other increment build-up would continue to apply in the meantime, making these players more likely to get long penalties from DC's because of how they overuse the system.
They can do whatever, I honestly dont mind how they do it but DCs need to be more punished.
It's still too common especially over these petty reasons and therefore needs to be addressed.
Some of us just actually want to play, DC ruins the fun for all sides and quite often I'll verse a killer or a unique build I dont see often but people will quit so I cant even have fun or experience that part of the game.... its lame .

Was like 5 mins on my console, thought they already changed this issue?
