Uhm hold your horses buddy.
Slugging and protecting the hook are core parts of the game, I doubt they will just allow Survivors a free escape from being captured.
-
True, most unhookers just run off and look confused when the Killer kills the one who is weakest.
Most survivors wont throw their life on the line for other survivors. Or they need more perks to do that more easily.

You can win a game as a killer by camping a close 3 gen all game and make it impossible for survivors to finish it even if they al coordinate together to do it.
I went againts a 3gen camper Plague on haddonfield and she camped the gens since the game started.
There was nothing anyone could do even with prove thyself brand new part, the gens we're too close and once you exhausted all resources you we're basically trying to break a 3gen in a deadzone.
Camping and 3gen camping are way too powerful and should not be in the game as its just bad gameplay and near impossible to do anything about it.
Will BHVR ever do anything about getting rid of the most obnoxious and unfun types of gameplay in this game?
Its not like its impossible to get rid of camping and 3gen camping, just dont stack gens so close together it makes it impossible to break a 3gen.
You can use the perk Deja Vu to prevent this.
-
Do you use framerate unlocking? Because the flashing seems to be tied to framerate so this problem usually happens with people who tamper with file in order to give them a faster framerate. Reinstalling the game has fixed this.

A random Hole in the Car Walls that can appear would be great,
-
Killer is the most fun.
-
I have seen people named the same as people here on the forum, but thats only randomly.
-
I mean maybe.
-
If Good players dont escape more often, then are they really good players then? Sounds like bad players to me.
-
Only one, insidious.

Make it work with any stun, it would pair quite well with the badly nerfed Decisive Strike
this isnt a bad idea, we are all about Perk Synergy, right?
-
they say the same thing about Botany Knowledge, and Nurse's Calling. But it would make certain killers have insane builds.
The only way bHVR could do this is if they remove Deep wound from Legion. which they wont for now.
I agree we want this game to make sense, but bHVR has a lot of change and clean up then.
-
You know, when you make an argument, "there's no reason for it to not work twice" it wont work. What you want is make the argument why It should work twice. Do we want it to be meta again? I doubt it. Does bHVR want that? I doubt it.
-
Yes.
-
Yes we do. I agree the more maps this game has the better.
Maps is my favorite thing in this game.
-
Survivors love to unhook their teammates right behind my back and then start vaulting repeatedly as I tunnel their wounded teammate.

Its funny when you use Lethal Pursuer vs them, they all start crouching when in range of your terror radius lol
They are probably better than alot of players too tho.
-
I played the PTB.
The bots play very good, they all use the hold W strategy, but they are still not as smart as real human players.
-
could be anything really....
Scholars will disagree forever...

Monthly stats would be cool
Unfortunately bHVR receives quite a lot of beratement, criticism and anger over stats.
Believe it or not, I has this dude on twitter argue to me that bHVR was trying to excuse themselves our of looking over Nurse because he felt the last batch of stats showed Nurse being on low killrate. ofc because of her high difficulty which we should all know by now. Im confident bHVRs sometimes mute relationship with stats is based on interactions from such individuals.
Even tho I love stats myself.

Here is my favs hardest achievements to do.
These two are the ones I struggled most with. They took most time, more than a day to complete.

Hmm
Shows up like this on her and all my other characters.

I have 0 problems with defending the hook. Killers that defend the hook (and don't camp it) will probably get first hit before the survivor is next to a hook. If he happens to down that survivor before said survivor unhooked, then it's very well done from killer's perspective. I am 100% for this interaction as it makes perfect sense.
Also if you are able to make hook trade (and I stress the word TRADE) by hooking someone into your 3gen, then once again - very well done. I don't see any suggestion in here that prohibits it or hinders the interaction.
You will find those suggestions all over the forum.
-
Hey I want this Perk, too bad a few Killers have Lullaby ;p

because it's boring? You enjoy staying in a single spot and it winning you game? Ok let's bring also some other ######### stuff that was boring but allowed survivors to just win games. Let's start with old key mechanics. You find a key, you fix a few edge generators, let killer facecamp that one unlucky soul and call it a 3man out without any real effort. Sounds healthy right?
Genrushing and facecamping is super boring. Tunneling is not so boring, but it's frustrating as there are very few things you can do to combat it. All these things should be reduced, so they are not a go-to mechanics.
you confuse defending the hook with face camping.

yes. But from 6.1 this is no longer possible. 6.2 made a correction, but you need that bandaid perk.
There are many many suggestions that would fix this problem, but all I see is that many killers enjoy current state and ability to just camp it out. And it's not rare
Why would I not enjoy the current state where I am able to defend the hook if I need to without any number of random forum suggestions preventing me from doing so because face camping? I am allowed to defend a capture, yes?
-
Unfortunately there is no way to prevent face camping while still allowing legitimate ways to protect your hooked survivor.
All we can do is make sure all Facecamping situations that happen gets genrushed or has perks that help that.
bHVR also need to make more perks that do this, SOME FOR THE GENERAL PERK POOL.
-
I don't see why not, the Killer is cool, the Survivor is cool. The perks are nice.
I always buy with credit card on Launch day. ๐ bHVR got my balls. ๐
-
Don't count on it.
-
Guys, Sex has been part of Horror Slashers of ages.
So I would not say this is part of a Dangerous trend for BHVR, they are treading well established rules.

If you can't find someone who you unhooked then every unhooked survivor will always be harder to find which will SCREW over the killers ten times as hard when compared to what I suggested. It is much heavier fix that will always be in effect when compared to mine where hook lasts 30s longer if you hook the same person twice within 60-80s. Which is not that common unless they play like idiots.
You are basically suggesting base kit Off-the-record for everyone always , while I suggest base kit reassurance only for consecutive hooks and only if they happen within a minute of each other and only if during that hook you do not hook anyone else which would disable it.
You suggestion also completely ignores face camping. Since the person will never be unhooked , they will never have a chance to hide. But my suggestion makes face camping take longer , which will give other survivors more time for gens to counter a face camper. Right now you could only do around 3 gens until the camped survivor dies. Then the face camper can camp the next one or even win the 3v1 for the last 2 gens. Killers do this because it works. If it takes longer and the remaining 3 survivors escape , the number of face campers would reduce. I also included a suggestion to compensate a face camped survivor so their game wont feel like **** . Because it's fun to play for 60s , be hooked and stare at bubba for 2 minutes and see your pips disappear afterwards. And when it soon happens again , you dc as soon as you are hooked because you are fed up with it. That is why there are massive DCs going on now. Because killers "play" the game normally. Where normal is to tunnel or camp the first survivor to make 3v1.
Im suggesting no such things, but perks for survivors to counter tunneling.

It wont work. Tunneling is the issue at hand here , the killer will see the unhooked most of the time since they also tend to camp. Face camp even.
If you find someone again then its fair game. By the time you down then again they will lose the reasurance protection. It lasts for a minute or so since their unhook. So you can tehnically hook the same person without them ever activating this feature.
You cant tunnel what you cant find.
But why does the Killer have to be screwed over for just playing the game as it is?

Find him again or tunnel him right after unhook ? Big difference.
How about an ajustment. After a survivor is unhooked they gain reasurance if hooked within 80 seconds.
This system would be hard to abuse. You would need to have a very organized team that would need to get every member to be hooked twice in a row without the killer catching anyone else.
No thanks. You have not answered my question-
How about adding some perks making survivors easier to hide when pulled of a hook instead?
-
Despite maps having 'issues' I still do well on those maps, so I would not want them gone.

Garden of Joy's building is notorious for being a great looping spot for good survivors. It does receive some changes in the next update, that shuld make it easier on killer.
It's probably a good idea to step out of those chases and put pressure elsewhere, at least for a while. Don't make them think you're afraid of those places either, or they'll just run there anytime they're chased. =)
Where did you hear/ see that thing about the Garden of Joy?!?
-
Much to disagree with, but we can start at one point. Why does a Killer need to be screwed over if I happen to find the same survivor?
as far as I see that, it should not be my problem other that the Survivor's who was found.
-
I would also suggest bHVR to do something with Death Note. BUT PLEASE NOT A FENG SET!
-
its good for the one reason if a hook one place which really favors the killer, they can only do that once.
-
when you least expect it.
-
Then survivors would have way too much time to do gens in any normal game even in games where camping would not happen.

Fix the maps stop makeing new killers/ survivors all the maps need readjusting not saying buff killers but instead make the maps more open so the m1 killers have a chance
By fix the maps you mean solve the problems with the maps?
-
while I agree with your sentiment. I think your solutions are not good for the problem.
The bloodpoint offerings should ofc do something. cause offerings are supposed to mix up the game.
-
I doubt insidious bubba is as prevalent as you guys say, I play bubba all the time and insidious would be hella boring for the Killer.
I hope bHVR could share some stats on that.
-
How would you balance the game?

Jungle gym into Shack window on Father Campbell's Chapel.
The entire Fractured Cowshed map
That works, but idk if that's number one priority.
-
That is too strange, idd take that directly to Bug Reports for investigation.
-
@foodie @Brightened How consistent is this problem?
I was under the impression it was an occasional maybe once a week game where Im sent to oceanic servers?
If its worse this should be a bug report?
