You don't care about an RBT kill because that survivor will never touch a gen if they're smart. You have basically removed them from the match for a time.
But the other survivors could be working on generators too.

Agree to disagree is different from saying my logic is flawed. That and you quoted me more than once now. You are replying to my words sir. That what quoting is about and used for. That and if the forums are a waste of time, if you truly believe that. Why are you here and not making better use of your time else where?
Your statement of "don't have any obligation to educate you", just proves you are 100% a twitter feminist in mind set. That what they do. They bring up a point they disagree with, laugh and mock at it or say it flawed somehow. Yet when challenge or ask to state their point of view or merely ask how is this point of view flawed? They refuse to give an answer. Than give a reply like your own, go educate yourself or they don't have any obligation to educate others. That and if you have been reading this thread, others have brought up the idea of if someone is being faced camped, the other survivors can just do gens and escape. Showing others agree or think like myself. You say this is flawed but never why. Hmm why would someone who has this knowledge as to why this point of view is flawed would keep it to themselves. Hmm, maybe it due to you having no point, no argument to make. Which is all it seems like by keeping it to yourself, making only you look bad as if you have no true point. Saying this logic is flawed, is so vague of a statement, it relays on others having to read your mind or make up their own meaning for why this logic is flawed, that survivors can do gens and escaped if a killer is just staring at someone they hook until death. Sir in a debate, it not my job to make your point for you. That is your job, to point out why the logic of "Survivors doing gens and can escaped the killer, if someone is being facecamped" is flawed. For by refusing to make any statement, not only do you deny any chance of people agreeing with you, but also deny any possible chance of people changing their minds and only makes you look bad, by making it seem like you have no argument. If the point of view was so flawed. Surely it would be simple and easy to point to at least one or two statements of where survivors doing gens to escape a face camping killer is bad logic or flawed in some way.
I just read a huge paragraph of someone putting someone else in their place and wasted about two minutes reading it.
I don't regret one bit of it ๐

I don't think promoting suicide in the title is the best way to get your point across, and swearing excessively in your forum doesn't help achieve your point either.
I think everyone understands your frustration, Legion is a flawed killer, but for now all I can advise is try maining another killer or have a bit of a break from the legion or the game if you must. And if you don't, try and play a bit of survivor too. I don't really know how to help or respond to this forum.
Edit: Thanks for removing the 'suicide' element of your title, much appreciated.

I would love to meet this piggy! So many just straight tunnel! Drives me crazy, like why even give me the party hat if your just going tunnel?
It wouldn't make sense for a Piggy to tunnel a trapped survivor because surely the trap would explode and kill the survivor quicker when you're not chasing them (as chasing them disables the trap timer). Although I have been tunnelled by a piggy before, it still confuses me to this day.

Trapper sacrifices early game to set up his traps. He already struggled a lot when Old Ruin was still a thing, even more now that it's gone. Without proper setup, he is basically a no power Killer that can cut one or two loops short (something even Clown can do). In order to setup, he has to sacrifice part of the map for a defense that's not hard to fight against.
His performance is also inconsistent. Some games multiple Survivors get caught in traps and you reach them in time, while in other games few to no Survivors fall for traps and/or free themselves before you can catch them.
The reason I placed Trapper on Low Tier insted of Low Mid is because I think he needs greater buffs than Plague, Myers, Wraith and Doctor.
That's true, his inconsistency causes variations for his power.
I think it just depends on the type of survivor he's put against. For example there's the god looping survivors and the potato survivors. Trapper has an easier advantage with the god looping survivors because of how frequent they use the safest loops. Most potato survivors run in a straight line or only use a pallet whenever they stumble across one. However I don't wish to generalize that all noob survivors run in a straight line as people have different perceptions of the word 'noob'.
A buff idea I would like for Trapper is to have traps that are already open in the map and to have a white aura for when they're closed and a yellow aura for when they're open.

To be a survivor you don't need to have any skills, repairing is extremely easy and fast and the game also benefits it. Being a killer is more difficult and you need some skill but the game hurts you to make it even more difficult ๐คจ
I have to disagree slightly with you here.
Looping and timing skill checks require a little bit of skill. With looping you predict how far the killer can hit you from and if you can run another safe loop or reach the pallet in time. Chases can sometimes make survivors panic a little bit, which makes them forget to predict the killer's attack. To me it takes skill to try and ease the panic and predict the reaction time of the killer. Looping also skill because you have to look behind you as well as in front of you to watch out for how far the killer is behind and to avoid running into any objects which just hinders your movement.
-
In my opinion the only advantage with playing Legion is they can reduce gen speeds just a little bit.
Had Ruin not been nerfed, Legion could've made a powerful killer if the perk was equipped.

spirit is just an unfun way of playing .
I'm glad I found someone who feels the same way as me regarding the Spirit.
Never liked that character, even when her PTB released, I uninstalled a day later (the ptb).
-
I'm guilty of self care, but I only use it when no one is on the hook. If someone goes on the hook, I stop healing and try to rescue them with borrowed time, even if it means sacrificing myself.

As you can see, your list isn't that different from my current one. I think it's too early for a definitive Deathslinger position, so consider this a first impression.
A team of 4 good Solo Survivors would be in the same place as Billy (maybe as Spirit now with Old Ruin gone).
A 4-man SWF with voice comms would be Nurse tier.
Why is Trapper in the lowest tier? His traps are very powerful when used strategically. I personally think he should be moved to at least lower mid tier.
-
That would actually look cool
-
Do you think you can get a picture of the cosmetic?

I remember fast vaulting into lockers as Meg whenever I heard the heartbeat, not realising I had quick and quiet, but I also didnโt realise that fast faulting exposes your location. So I guess I was lucky.

Ahh okay, quite coincidentally I was just playing GF on pc and I got a 4k too (not to flex or anything) so I'm with you.

The clown was buff a long time ago. He is proof from way back when. "Academically, he was unremarkable, coasting by on his significant athletic prowess. He grew tall and strong, excelling at track events, but shunned any attempts to coax him into team sports."
He does need to be buffed somehow in-game though.
I see what you did there ๐
In terms of gameplay though, I feel that he does need a buff.

They keep buffing the wrong characters man, hitboxes are all broken, vault a window or run, I get hit 2 meters behind, like seriously, buff like Ghostface or idk and those hitboxes ffs they are pissing me off..
They should buff the clown tbh
-
The reason they witchhunt you is because they're either:
A) Angry and looking for someone to take it out on to make themselves feel better.
B) Really bored and get entertainment out of harassing others (which is just sick).
C) They're a bunch of children/teenagers who are looking for attention to satisfy them.
D) They feel powerful by attacking others online, especially when there's not much that can be done.
Sad truth about D) is they're only attacking you because they feel protected behind a glass screen. The probability that they'd act like that in real life is low, but you never know with some people.
-
I agree for all except maybe move Doctor up to "walk away from heartbeat radius" as whenever I hear his static blast I run to the nearest locker or try and escape his terror radius out of panic.

No word other than they were looking to implement it and then the entire community saying they were stupid and it would never work.
Honestly if the devs just gave up I wouldn't blame them. This community sucks sometimes.
To be clear this thread was started because of frustration with the current system. I'm in no way trying to insult the devs.
Agreed, I think this community sometimes doesn't realize that the developers work their asses off for this game and it's not an easy job.

@Fibijean said:
There is no pretense. Everyone and their mother - including the devs themselves - knows that matchmaking is broken and the current rank system is heavily flawed. That's precisely why they're working on overhauling it.
Do you know when this fix will come into place? Or will we have to wait for the developer's to announce it?
-
Yeah I really don't see how Deathslinger is higher than Huntress, he might be easier to play but Huntress can down people quicker if you're skilled with her.

How can you possibly consider a 1 person hatch escape "winning"? It's more like a "ok your team got completely destroyed - you're free to go now" kinda escape.
Agreed, a win is a win if you play fairly and outstandingly.
-
Clown is in some serious need of buffing or at least a rework.
-
Yeah, it's bad because I'd rather go against a legion than Freddy o.o
-
Anyway, goodbye if you very well must leave. But can I mention that they've nerfed a lot of the killers too, it wasn't just the survivor side. For example they removed the omega blink off nurse, they nerfed Ruin which caused a lot of controversy, they nerfed Spirit add ons and they adjusted the Oni's flick to not make him OP (although this one I'm still not sure about). Some killers who were once great are according to a lot of the community are now ######### killers.
If you're going to make this into a us VS them discussion, then at least consider the bad things about both sides instead of just one to represent yourself as unbiased. That way people will probably start taking you more seriously.

I have my good matches and bad matches, but it depends on how I class them.
Good matches for me are when I make the killer chase me for a good while, unhook survivors with BT to allow them a chance to escape safely and to complete at least one or two gens. (I also like to do bones to prevent NOED) I still consider it a good match if I've died and I've done some of these things so I'm not a sore loser.
Bad matches for me are when I'm tunnelled for no reason at all, even if I do poorly at chases (I'm not the best at looping but I'll do anything to survive like most players would), slugged or facecamped. I know camping is labelled as a strategy but honestly as a solo player it ruins the fun of the game.
-
Damn this article turned into WW3 o.o
-
I try and play fair as a killer; what I do is I chase one person, down them, hook them and walk far away. If I'm not even 5m away and they've already been unhooked then I go after the person that did the unhooking so the injured person can have a chance to heal. However if I walk relatively far away from the hook and the person's been unhooked I will just look for the nearest progressing generator and chase other survivors.

Most people agree that iri heads need changed, including a lot of well known killer mains
Just saying, both sides need to be equally powerful. Killers are meant to be more powerful than the survivors, not the other way around.
-
Survivor's are just as powerful that Iridescent heads, maybe consider both perspectives instead of just one?
-
I recently played against a Doctor and one of my teammates was a Jane. This Jane kept leading the killer to us and repeatedly farmed us just so she could get the hatch early. It was beyond frustrating, so I recorded her body blocking and following this Jeff on my team and after he was killed she immediately ran to the hatch and wrote in the post-game chat "gg ez".
I tried reporting the Jane with her steam profile and I sent the video link but I didn't get a response, shows to me reports sometimes go unnoticed in this game.
-
The only time I think camping is a necessity is when the end-game collapse has begun and you haven't hooked anyone yet.
-
@FilledPizza said:
Depends on if you're going to play them or for perks. Clown has two good perks (Pop, Bamboozle) but he's a really bad Killer. Plague has two really good perks (Corrupt, Infectious) and she's also a decent Killer. Spirit has mediocre perks but she is a very good Killer if you learn her. Legion is pretty bad, but he's amazing for bloodpoint farming and ranking up. Discordance is also pretty good.
I wouldn't call Spirit's perk mediocre, I think they're actually quite powerful. Spirit Fury from a survivor perspective is really anxious fulling, which is what makes the chase scary. Haunted Ground can really pressure survivors and Rancor is best at giving the killer map awareness and potentially getting at least 1 or 2 kills.

Yeah I agree with you there. Not about his chapter being the worst but how he's a "chapter" when he's actually basically a paragraph
Yeah, that's mainly why I think he's not the best because he's listed as a chapter yet he's a standalone killer so he should really be a paragraph. But I don't hate the character, power or perks of the killer himself, just the idea of it being a "chapter".

If you think Ghostface sucks then what are your opinions on Bill, Leatherface and Ash's releases? They all came alone
They came alone for a reason. The Ghost Face chapter could've had two separate licenses but they went with the Fun World license only to require the rights for the mask.
That being said, I never said Ghostface sucked if you read my very first comment carefully. I mentioned he was one of the killers I ranked up to P3 level 50. I stated that the Ghost Face chapter was the worst in my opinion NOT because of his character but because he didn't come with a survivor or map, as I've repeated several times.
Bill, Leatherface and Ash are all listed under the 'Paragraph' releases, Ghost Face is listed under a 'Chapter' release. Ghost face is the only chapter to not feature a survivor or map, which is why I think it is the worst DLC.
