It is disabled for the weekend. They have no concrete plans with it yet.
Also if you're actively relying on it you're shooting yourself in the foot. Learn your Killers power.
The killer powers cannot do anything against a person who turns thousands of times in a structure, (I am in red rank so I am talking about people who know what they do). If you watch a dbd tournament you know that the killer basically has to camp the first survivor because it will be very difficult for him to catch all 4, imagine now without bloodlust. When they are coordinated people they can literally make you do not hang up anyone, I see Otzdarva and other main killers who have a lot of problems against good survivors, now it will be directly impossible for killers to do something. I going to have to use only the killers that are top tier? I think you do not play as killer and you do not understand that the time we have is very limited to catch a survivor, we need to do 12 hangs and they only 5 engines, and if the time that the killer needs to catch a survivor is tripled then it will literally be impossible to play as a killer on some maps. You are not aware that it is 16 perks versus 4 perks. You should play a little killer to know what you're talking about. Instead of saying you have to learn the powers of a killer, being actively trusting in it seems to me that it does not make sense, because it is a necessity in some situations and not something that you think, honestly yesterday I realized that there was something wrong and you feel the difference of bloodlust a lot when you do not have it, you don't think about it, you just realize that a survivor can be literally untouchable. And I also speak as a survivor, because I play on both sides and a good circuit makes you untouchable, you no longer need to throw pallets to survive, and if before a killer could be entertained for many minutes, now you are simply invincible and I don't see the slightest sense in that

There are worse things, pop and the weasel now you can only use it for 45 seconds but the desisive strike still lasts 60 seconds. It's a joke? no, they are that incompetent

I've had the same response. but things take time to investigate. did you send your logs for that match time frame? did you send all the information you had on it? thing is without knowing more than a few words of an issue, they have to look at many things to determine where to look. They would need to see if others have had this issue, they would have to see if there was a server issue but they'd need the logs for that from the server and the player(s) as needed.
this game has thousands of people playing it and if thousands send a report of one thing or another it takes time to work through it. I've had communications from reports myself, and if it was an automated response that's one thing but if it's a personal response you can reply and they'll do their best to answer questions but that takes time.
for instance I recently ran into a spot where a door way was blocked on the yakamoka estate, so i got a bit of a recording, and submitted it for them. i gave them the tile number that it was on and everything I hoped they needed to make sure this doesn't happen again, I don't expect to hear that they fixed that till it comes out in a patch note if at all.
I made a complete report with absolutely all the required information and they never responded to me again, I doubt that the devs are interested in anything other than selling skins

might i suggest you put this in the propper place for devs to take a look at this?? IE: Reporting Bugs? this is the best. also submit a ticket which can be gotten to via the support section in game. that way the devs know to look at it. posting here will delay it getting to the proper group to find out what is going on. posting here only tends to draw inaccurate and usually sarcastic remarks (not all here were that but some were). Now I really do mean submit a support ticket and/or post in the bug forum vice here, but the ticket is the quickest way to get them to look at this and see what happened.
I remember that once I sent a ticket, after a few weeks they wrote to me (on July 20) that they were reviewing the ticket and they never answered me again 🙄

I don't understand your answers I don't see anyone disconnected, in the video the 3 survivors escaped in the game and the killer lost a pip

Please read in full translate in your language. Notice: I am 100% sure that all of us who are old players in this dead by Daylight game will agree with me because they know how things were before, new players if they are going to criticize, inform yourself first. Dead by Daylight in times of 2017 was a great game, it was perfect both in killer and in survivor compared to how it is now. They are going to take away the essence of the game. Look at the doctor, the nurse, the ruin and a lot of perks that have ######### over time (DESICIVE STRIKE) as well as mechanics. What I want with this is that all the players of this game reconsider and support me as the developers continue the game is going to end up dying what they have done lately has been a disaster I was dissatisfied with this game since the nerf of Desicive strike in 2019 was not something necessary before criticizing me in this part I have my argument please read before criticizing we all deserve to be heard Desicive strike perk teachable by Laurie strode at level 40 since it came out it has been a very criticized and requested perk by nerf..ok I understand At this point, this will frustrate several killers, because if the team had all 4 players wearing this perk, it would take a long time to understand that point, but was it necessary to render it unusable? Let's think please they are telling me that to occupy it, the killer has to hang up first after I get off the hook, I have 60 seconds of use, which is literally unusable, I heal and almost all the timing has expired, it is true that sometimes it saves you but how rare it is what happens almost never besides now it is so easy to counteract after picking up the killer will go for you and leave you on the ground wait 60 seconds and hang again before having done this destruction that they made this perk so much that they complained about the stun would have reduced it at least but from the beginning it is active or if they wanted it not to start active they could do that ######### mechanic of hanging you first and then they would unload you this active without time so it would be balanced and it would always be used not as they did now this would be all my opinion about the game currently that if they continue as they are now they will die slowly and believe me they will regret later .. Thanks for reading and I hope I come to you and take into account my request
What the hell are you talking about?

Loud chase music will bother me untill sounds not will be fixed, and they probably not going to be, and even if will be - they gonna broke them in 2 major updates like I said before. So why do we need a chase music on the killer side then when its literally impossible to hear something with this sound bug, too many "chances to survivor to escape" by hiding or not beeing able to mindgame them in any way. Ok , if there is would be a scenario where sounds are fixed I will not say anything against a loud chase music, because YOU CAN HEAR them , loud chase music doesn't mute all sounds, but right now its just unfair, loud chase music+sound bugs creates a huge imbalance.
Unfortunately I don't know what you mean to the current sound problems in the game, I play as a survivor and as a killer (more as killer) and I get a little lost when I hear my own steps in the grass or when I hear my own breath with the clown but I can hear the rest of the sounds

Why can't you read literally one of my comments where I'm answering on the same thing what you said?
Title of your thread: "Remove the chase music from the killer side or make it less loud?"
Your answer: "You don't understand the main problem, I'm ok with loud chase music but only if the sounds wouldn't be so broken as now, this is just not fair."
If in your title you ask to remove the music or make it less noisy but later you say that loud chase music is not what bothers you then there is something that has no sense.
The answer is only one "the chase music is loud so that the survivor has a chance to escape"
Maybe you should ask the right question and specify a little more what is your problem if you want someone to answer something else

Why can't you read literally one of my comments where I'm answering on the same thing what you said?
You ask if they can remove the music from the chase or make it less noisy and the answer is the one I just gave you, later you said that it does not bother you that the music is strong, so I think you don't know what you want, but the answer is simple and it is the one I told you a few moments ago: the music is loud to give to survivors a chance to escape 😀
-
Nerf are you, the survivors have many more perks and many more opportunities than the killer 🤨
You say you are a main killer and are you saying the survivors were nerf again? please nobody believe you, stop creating troll threads like these to try to hide that you are a survivor who doesn't know how to play
-
The game is on the side of the survivors always, there is no doubt about it, the best players in the world can tell you that, if it is intentional or not we will never know, but the reality is that the game is created so that the survivor have more advantages than the killer
-
You did not play in the 4 year event? there was a very clear message from one of the devs saying "the chase music is loud so that the survivor has a chance to escape"
-
I think the devs want the games to be fast, the 5 engines can be done in less than 4 minutes, it is impossible to maintain so much pressure in the game, the only way to avoid it is that the survivors do not repair because they break totems or open chests or just go around the map, if the survivors want to repair they will do it extremely fast, that's the way the game is, it always was that way and I think they won't change it. You can use NOED and mori if you see that the game is ending very fast and you could not kill anyone.
You can see the best killers and you will realize that they only do the 4K or "win" the game because the survivors allow it, I mean that they start spinning or wasting time. In competitive tournaments usually the killer camp the first survivor who can hang because he knows that it is the only thing that he will be able to do throughout the game, it is a game designed so that the survivor can escape most of the time, that is why the killer usually earns more points to feel that he did not lose.
I saw some of Oracle team training and I even know one who played for them as a killer and they asked him to camp the first survivor while they repaired, one of the "best" teams in the world plays to repair extremely fast and protect each other making it practically impossible for the killer can do more than one hang. The way to play in DbD is basically to make engines as fast as possible and escape.
If you want to be a good killer, you will depend 100% on the survivor and that he allows you to win because he is playing without doing anything important, but if the survivor wants to win he will do it no matter how good you are as a killer.
-
Thanophobia is one of the most useless perks in the game, the time you earn is so little that you will never notice it, I have rushed more with thanatophobia than without it 🤣
-
I personally like their appearance, but they will have to be much brighter, for example bbq is useless if you cannot detect a survivor making a engine... but I guess since the devs only listen to the main crying survivors they did it to continue nerfing even more the killers 🤔

It's because people can avoid the penalty by either: restarting the PC, or if you're on console, force closing the app. That would make the penalties pointless. I'm sorry for you, but it's an unfortunate side effect from something that mostly is for the greater good.
But that was not the case, I am sorry I did not take a screenshot, but a message from the dead by dalylight appeared saying that the game had crashed. You could read in the message that if I wanted to send a report and said that they were going to include data from my pc in it, it was a 100% problem of the game
-

My game "crashes" every time I go against a Spirit, Freddy, Doctor, Mori, Key, Ormond, or Haddonfield.
My game crashed when I was playing against the plague, i got infected but he drop the chase so I started to break a totem and the game closed, a message appeared to send a report and I sent it. I doubt that someone will read it, but if the game says there is a problem and it has to be closed they shouldn't punish the player for it

it's only 5 minutes, it's not that bad. You can deal with it.
If you start waiting 45 minutes+ because of it, THEN it makes sense.
I understand your point, but you understand mine, they punish me because the game stops working and is unfair, it's not my fault and I don't have to be punished for it
-
@TAG said:
I take it this means DC penalties are back?
I don't know if there is a penalty for DC, but I can assure you that if your game crash you will be penalized 🙂
-
The gen rush is really present in every game, the mori depends on the killer, therefore it is a way to counter the basic game mechanic that is to maintain M1 against a gen (very difficult right?) and finish the match in less than 4 minutes
-
You have to think that it is a game created for the survivors to win, if you play as a killer you may be lucky to face people of your level but mostly you will meet people of more level, the devs want the survivors to win and everything in the game is created so that the killer has to be extremely good and not make any mistakes to win, playing as a survivor is very easy because the game was created for that. If you play killer just think that no matter what you do the game will always be against you 🙂
-
I think we all ask ourselves the same thing, it is a clear example that Behavior Interactive does what it wants without caring what the community wants 🙄
-
I consider myself main killer and honestly the difference is ridiculous, saying that it was nerfed is simply so that the survivors stop crying so much, but the killer is practically the same as always 🤣
-
In this game it depends a lot on how you play and who you are playing against, it is a fun killer to use but it is definitely not the strongest. I have won many games with him and lost many too, if you ask about him because you want to buy it I would say take advantage to the fact that is a free killer and spend your points on it, but I don't think it's worth spending money on that killer
-
I think that it is not only 60 seconds, the problem is that the DS is really an abuse, you can completely repair a gen by having ds and take advantage of it, and if you have adrenaline then you are not only untouchable for 1 minute also you heal after repairing the engine, the idea of this is very bad, if you start to repair an engine having ds or it heals completely then you should not have that privilege and the ds would have to be disabled
-

To clear one thing up, the found survivors points shown on the emblem screen there does not mean how many survivors you've found. The number on the emblem screen a percentage of the total points required for an iridescent emblem. In this case, finding survivors gives you 5 chaser points, and you found survivors ten times that match, leaving you with 2% (50 of the total 2,550 chaser points required).
Outside of that, chaser is awarded for having lots of successful and fast chases, where a chase ends when you either lose the survivor or land a hit. The shorter your chase, the more chaser points you bank. Chaser does not award bonus points for downing a survivor, so using things that allow you to down a survivor from healthy effectively halves the number of chases you'll be scoring points on.
You didn't lose any points for camping, so you're already doing great there. If you're looking to get your adept, you might want to slug a little bit rather than hooking right away. That'll give you more opportunities to chase survivors before they die.
So if I understood correctly the problem was to use tier 3 and make the chases extremely short, right?
-
@Cheers said:
I'm actually a bit confused by this too...by any chance did you grab two of the survivors off of a gen / out of a locker to kill them?
No, I found them all walking and I chased them
-
I don't mind the keys but I tunnel if they hook off (farm) a survivor in my face 🤣
-
They could simply add a bot to replace the disconnected player (I think they would do something like this for DbD mobile)
-
Just don't let a rank 4 play with a rank 17 friend and face a rank 20 killer. If you are rank 1 and play with a rank 15 friend then you should play games against a red rank killer
-
Did you see ralph playing with the huntress? 🧐
-
Thanks for the advice the names have already been censored
-
The maximum number of people per group would have to be 2, currently it is a game of 4 vs 1, 5 engines vs 12 hangs, there is absolutely no balance in this game.
-
Even tunneling with mori the 5 generators can be made extremely fast, 12 hangs vs 5 generators is unfair, the mori would not have to undergo changes, the only change would have to be its speed, some are very slow, they should not last more than 7 seconds
-
@ClickyClicky said:

The devs own stats? No killer is getting an average of less than 2 hooks per game. Most are averaging between 2-3 kills.
Also 5 gens vs 4 kills.
You want to break it down into 3 hooks per survivor? Well how about I break it down into 80 charges per gen, that’s 400 charges. 400 vs 12. Checkmate.
Sorry I just read this message and I really have no idea what you are talking about and honestly I think you don't either, I invite you to play as a killer and then I will take into account any comments from you
BTW: I don't want to attack anyone, but after "pretty good job so far" it is difficult to consider valid something that the developers of this game can say, you can see and feel and live what really happens in the game, you just have to put "play as a killer" in main menu and in a few days you will realize how right I am in what I am saying 🙂
-
@ClickyClicky said:

Lol oh please. The vast majority of games killers win by just waiting around the hook or tunneling someone out before they can get away. Killer is braindead.
And do you think that is the way to play? do you think it is better to play as Ochido? Let's talk about the mechanics of the game, not the nonsense of each person 🤣
As I said before, I invite all the people who only play as a survivor to play as a killer. You can say many things, but when you play as a survivor AND as a killer you really realize the reality of the game (try to reach rank 6 - 8 killer at least)
-
@Cheers said:
That's why getting the early hook is vital. It changes 4 people working on objectives to 2 or less.
That depends, many prefer to repair engines and not help their friends, the only thing that gives the killer an advantage is the tunnel

I think it goes both ways. Killers have the advantage of making it 4 hooks instead of 12 via Mori. Michael Myers can insta kill on sight. Infinite evil within (exposed). 3 iridescent hatchets (One hit downs) at a time. Camp hooks. So you’re telling me they’re either getting looped or not finding anyone? I think it’s bs. For a game that relies on survivor-killer interactions I’d say the interactions typically don’t last long. Whether it’s lag or hits I don’t think should have registered. Quite frankly I think killers need harsher recovery times from missed attacks and these one hit down things defeat the purpose of the fun of the game which derives from the chases. More often than not I also see red and purple rank survivors (I’m rank 6) and I see them go down with ease. Then I get hate mail from my teammates bc they’re made we got 4Kd. I don’t think it’s survivor sided at all. And if they’re running gens on you that bad, you might need to improve your map control and awareness? Bc killers are op out the wazoo man.
I will try to answer everything, I use the google translator so some things may not be well understood. The infinite evil of Mayers costs a lot of time, at least 3 motors to reach level 3. The huntress axes, the billy saw, stalkear with ghostface, leatherface, the clown, etc. They are skills that can knock you down, but you need to hit with the ax or be hide to stalk, or hit the bottle, hit the saw, etc, and is not that easy as you think. You need to hit with the saw, you need to have the ability to hit those blows, a survivor can run and move much easier than a killer. 3rd person so the window is still the survivor's. You can find people, but there are infinite loops, there are loops that can take a killer for 1 minute (even if it is not infinite) running behind, there are pallets and windows, etc. you can find a survivor, but while you throw him to the ground there are 3 people making 3 motors, that means that you have 1 hang and you have 2 motors left and you need to hang 12 times to kill them all. The killer when the blow fails loses time, the survivor when he receives a blow gains speed and advantage. You can control the map, but you cannot control 4 people at the same time, a generator can make 3 people, you chase 1 of them and the other 2 repair the engine, if you return to the engine without catching the first survivor the rest are making other engines. If there is something I did not answer, please let me know but the things that you are saying to me is because obviously you never played as a killer, I invited you to try it, I started playing as a survivor and thought it was difficult, then I started playing as a killer and I realized that playing as a survivor was the easy part.
BTW: The most important thing is often 4 people communicated against a single person is a huge and ridiculous advantage

Or maybe people have different opinios than you and you are too accustommed to your "killers weak" circlejerk to realize that.
I look at Ralph and Otzdarva a lot, (to give examples) they are all main killers and they are people who play very well, I also talk about the mechanics of the game and not so much about the players. Everyone thinks differently, but the game is created in one way and you can't argue with that, the rest are just excuses.
-
@SurviveByDaylight said:
huntress running around with iridescent and infantry belt that gives her 3 one hit hatchet downs before restocking. That’s excessive. The fact that killers just mow people down in one hit is excessive. MISSED Melee attacks don’t have Long enough recovery Times imo. If you miss an attack as a killer - especially a one hit down attack. it should be more like nurseS missed phase attack where she slows down temporarily. I think this game is complete nonsense at times due to killer speed and lag and whatever else. I just don’t think you realize that killers can kill just as fast if not faster than gens flying by in the 5 minute timeframe you guys say it does. I’m sorry I don’t want to stare at a progress bar longer . Increasing gen time is going to make me uninstall the game . Simple as that.
I think you are talking about another game, it is ok if you are new as a survivor and it costs you a chase with the killer, but if you ever try to play as a killer you will realize that you are confused
-
@SurviveByDaylight said:

I disagree. Killers can make it almost impossible to do generators and you especially don’t want to 3 gen yourself. Lucky there’s keys available but those aren’t guaranteed. Most often chases are cut really short because let’s be honest killers really do have the upper hand in mowing people down within 5 minutes too. It really all depends on if someone can run the killer or not. But more often than not nobody does 😂 it shouldn’t be like that, I rarely have fun on chases because laggy hits ruin the game, or hits they don’t deserve where I’m clearly through a vault and they still hit me. Nah... bs! How is that fun for survivors? Please tell me and show me an example where killers aren’t getting 3-4K consistently? You whine because you might be learning still. That’s okay.
twitch or youtube you can find millions of cases. Even skilled killers like Ralph (the main Anna) often can't kill anyone

Arguing with survivor mains is useless. I know it for a fact, I used to be one myself. I thought killers were overpowered even though the fault was almost always mine. Then I started playing killer, and realized how unbalanced this game truly is.
Dbd is in a disgusting place as of now. Survivors can end the game in 5 minutes or so. The ONLY thing you will be told is "apply pressure and git gud", a pathetic excuse which seeks to hide the game's flaws.
I agree %100
-
I only say that ds, dead hard, unbreakable, etc... I mean, one mistake from the killer has costed you the match, survivors can mess up and they still have a lot of chances to win, and even so they have many more advantages because they can make 5 generators (extremely easy) in less than 4 minutes, and the killer needs to do 12 hangs without making any mistakes... and that's... is not fair to me 😕
-
To be a survivor you don't need to have any skills, repairing is extremely easy and fast and the game also benefits it. Being a killer is more difficult and you need some skill but the game hurts you to make it even more difficult 🤨
-
@Mastropiero said:
The game is totally unfair. The survivors have much more advantage and genrush is an undeniable fact, those who say otherwise are those who only play as survivors... everyone knows that.
Thanks, I knew iIhad seen that video somewhere but I couldn't remember who it was 🤣

@LetsPlayTogether said:
No its not unfair. Any more Gen means an easy win for same skilled killers.
How many "skilled killers" do you know in this game? most people are not experts and the number of killers suffering from the gen rush is 9 to 1. Also, with your excuse, for skilled survivors the game is extremely easy now. If it's easy for the skilled survivors it's fair, but if it's easy for the skilled killers is not fair? Most people know that playing as a survivor is much easier than playing as a killer, why do they have to have even more advantages? that anywhere in the world is unfair 🤔
-
@ClickyClicky said:
And yet killers still won most games. Imagine that.
Almost as if comparing objective numbers alone isn’t a very good way to judge balance.
It could he argued survivors have to do 5 gens ( and often 5 totems) whereas killers only need to kill 4 survivors.
Where do you get that information from? I do not speak for me, I follow many twitch channels and I see that the gen rush is massive and that in most games at least 3 survivors escape. It is correct, one person have to kill 4 people, but only one person need to do 12 hangs to kill 4 survivors, 4 survivors only need do 5 engines that can be completed in less than 4 minutes.
