I think that it is not only 60 seconds, the problem is that the DS is really an abuse, you can completely repair a gen by having ds and take advantage of it, and if you have adrenaline then you are not only untouchable for 1 minute also you heal after repairing the engine, the idea of ββthis is very bad, if you start to repair an engine having ds or it heals completely then you should not have that privilege and the ds would have to be disabled
I agree with that

So the fact you think just because Cannibal can insta down 4 people proves you've never been high ranks with him. The dudes power is completely useless because it's so easy too loop, and even if he uses his chainsaw he's only getting 1 person less he camps. He will M1 most of the game unless you're out of position. And just because a killer has good perks doesn't mean they are good lol.
And Freddy only has been good since his rework, before then he was the worst killer in the game, so OP saying that all DLC have been amazing killers is just wrong and false information.
Pig's main ability isn't stealth, it's the traps which delay the game. Pig could never stealth and still do well because of her power too delay the game, Tru3 does it all the time. Pig can be stealthy when it's needed, but it's not her main role.
You are inventing things, so stop blaming me for what you say, I say that Freddy is a good killer today I never said he was always, the false information is giving by you and I will not continue talking to a person that lies and says that I am saying things that are not true. I will not continue reading what you say because clearly you like to lie and falsely accuse people.

I think it's fun, but as I said before, I also think it needs a change, considering that you have to pay for it. But nobody answers if there are plans to make a change or not, I could return the dlc and buy it at another time or use the money and spend it on another video game. It is a very simple question and the answer is even simple, if there are future plans or no moment plans for it, I do not understand why they refuse to give me a simple answer like "yes" or "no" π

Pig can be an amazing killer long as you know when too place the traps too delay the important parts of the game. And how on earth is Cannibal a good killer in any form? his power actively works against him. And Freddy was the worst killer in the game until about a year ago, so that info is also wrong.
Just learn more about killer before posting about how weak/strong a killer is.
Cannibal has the best perk of the game (BBQ) has a power that makes it possible to hit and down 4 people at once. Freddy is an excellent killer at the moment, what is the alleged incorrect information?
I only have 2 hours to test the DLC, I watched some videos and read in the official DBD forum and everyone says that it is a very weak killer, it is fun, but very weak, your ability practically makes no sense, because you are in stealth but you make noise and you get light and radius of terror as soon as you try to use their ability (stealth ability) the traps are easy to remove and do not prevent a survivor from escaping, the traps are only activated when a generator is completed, she is very small and you can barely see anything when you're crouched. I do not need more, I am 100% sure that it is the weak paid killer and that it is not worth paying for it. The question is whether they will improve it or I return it, end.

Yes.. maybe, but I think she is bad considering that you have to pay for it, I would not be here if it were a killer that I can get for free, and compared to other paid killers she is terribly weak and I think that give back his terror radio and his light after finishing his ambush and not at the beginning of it and maybe giving him more traps by default could be a small change that would help a lot to be a decent killer that worth paying

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/132195/why-is-the-pig-so-weak
Having a one shot is not a requirement of a good killer or paid killer. I've only used pig through offerings two dozen times or so. Every game, with the exception of maybe one or two games, I did really well. That is with no perks and no add ons at green/purple ranks. It is the next DLC I will buy. Her ability to go undetectable at will with gen monitoring perks can make her incredibly deadly. Some of my friends consider her the biggest PITA to face because 0TR and time wasting traps. Face her at the meat plant or hawkins, forget about it.
Traps are medium risk/ high reward. They can effectively slow the game beyond the point of old ruin. If you're removing traps you're not doing gens. The game becomes 3v1 or player 4 becomes an easy target while trying to remove. Factor in add-ons that cause exhaustion or blindness and traps are even more deadly and cause greater drag on the team. The only crux is how easily traps come off. It could be one attempt or it could be four.
I do not deny that his perks are good, at least 1 or 2 of them, but I think his ability is not worth it, it is certainly fun, but just losing your light and your radius of terror when you are crouched does not seem very useful , since immediately when you want to ambush your light turns on and you make a lot of noise, making it very difficult to attack someone, also because of its size it is very difficult to see something when it is crouched and that the traps only activate when a generator is repaired it seems unfair, I think ghostface is much more useful and very similar in its mechanics, I would say that it is an improved pig without all the defects of she has. I think that 1 hit is more useful than putting a trap after 2 hits, and that does not activate until an engine is repaired many people do not remove the trap and continue repairing because they know that it is very easy to remove it and that they have enough time to go to 4 or 5 boxes without the trap opening in their head

That explains a lot. I'm a console Pig. She seems to be slightly stronger here. I'm also a lower ranked killer than you, but I have devoted possibly a little too much time to Pig.
I do also have to recommend using very expensive headphones with Surveillance. It really does help.
I have 7.1 headphones and they help me a lot, but I really have a lot of problems with the pig, when I duck practically I can't see anything, the survivors run when they hear the roar and rarely can I attack them, they remove the traps very quickly, and in the last game a player did not remove his trap and escaped through the hatch, that is why I am thinking of returning it, I feel that paying for it is not worth it π
I think the only good thing is the 7 seconds memento mori π€£

Hangman's Trick still doesn't seem all that impressive on the PTB and I say that Surveillance is one of the most underrated perks in the game, and not many people expect it.
If you know how to use Pig and either play Dash add-ons or mix Ambush and normal attacks, then she can be quite terrifying.
What rank and platform are you on btdubbbz?
It seems very useful to me to hangman's Trick in PTB, but I lose a lot the survivors in the loops trying to use the ambush, besides she is so small that when I duck practically I can't see anything π€£
I'm on PC in rank 6 as killer and rank 16 as a survivor
-
I think that their traps are very easy to remove, many times in the first box I can get rid of them, time is lost by placing them and only 4 by default is very unfair, I think she would have more by default and that they activate instantly and not when an engine is completed. I also think that the sound he makes totally breaks his stealth and makes it useless since it is very easy to know when he is about to attack and escape from it. In a high loop it is easy to lose the survivor and for them it is easy to know where to run when they see their light immediately. For my the red light would have to be kept hidden until the attack was over and maybe the sound should be removed, it would also have to start with at least 5 traps by default and would have to be activated at the time of placing them π€

Now this is wierd, almost whole community agrees that Clown is the weakest killer lol.
His power is easily countered by dropping pallets, and even when used perfectly, it doesnt make chases that much faster. So basically his power isnt even that good at doing the only thing its good for.
Letherface is also very weak killer, but his power is the most dangerous in the game. The problem is that you will never have a chance to use it to its full potential. So yeah, Letherface is extremely dangerous, but only if you are a potato
Everything is debatable, but I want to compare DLCs that are not free, and I think the pig is too weak if we think you have to pay for it

Piggy is definitely not bad, but she takes some skill to play - learning when to dash etc. Her RBT's are actually not going to get you many kills, they're not meant to, it's a slow down mechanic.
I suggest asking some pig mains for some advice on how to play her, watch a couple of pig main streamers etc - some are always happy to give advice on how they play their main.
Please, it is almost 2 hours and I can not open DBD again without losing the opportunity to return to the killer, could you tell me please if there are plans to improve the killer?

@Archimedes5000 said:
Pig had nice late game pressure, but later changes indirectly nerfed her, leaving her with only downsides.
- Traps are too random
- Her crouch sucks as a stealth ability (weapon sheathing sound and the roar)
Thats it basically. Her power is just too weak compared to other Killers.
Trapper also has not too strong, RNG based power, but his traps help in chases even in the worst case scenario.
I certainly believe that the Trapper is a killer much stronger than the pig, and I agree with what you say, a stealth killer that makes so much noise when it is going to attack is very unfair, gosthface for example does not have that problem
-
@PigMainClaudette said:
Pig is a very different killer to the rest of the stealth roster. She's the closest thing to being a stealth pressure killer.
No joke, but her teachable Surveillance is actually a huge help. Not because of it's aura reading, but it's secondary effect of you can hear generator repairs louder. Combine this with her Ambush ability too to easily get that first hit.
Still, you just have to play stealth, be careful with your traps, leave trapped test subjects largely alone (Do NOT tunnel them!) but down them if they run into you. Focus in generators, and don't hunt away from them. Also kind of an obvious one, but seriously aim for the 3-gen where possible.
Thanks, I will take your advice, but I think the only good thing about the killer is the perk that in the PTB will now work to see the aura of people near the hook

I consider her the weakest stealth killer, but definitely not the weakest killer. That would be Legion or Clown. And a one hit down doesn't always make a good killer. Leatherface is weaker than Pig and you also have to pay for him.
To me the clown is a very good killer, I almost always get 4k with him, (I never use Legion) and that Leatherface can pull you in one hit seems strong to me

Pig is a good killer, you just need to learn when to place traps, save traps till last generator, and use crouch more
Her only issue is the threat of the traps
Many times I keep them, but they do not work either, because by trapdoor they have no effect and the survivors can escape, also it is very easy to remove them π

If the point of nerfeing the ruin is to help the new players, but they create a new battle pass where the doctor is the main one and has the most difficult skill checks of all that means that the game developers are cheating us or do not have the slightest idea of ββwhat they are doing π€¦ββοΈ
-
@PacifiedByDaylight said:
Lfmao, they are ridiculously easy to hit. I don`t play survivor very often, but with the time it is given me to react to skillcheck, I can hit it even if it mispositioned or reverted
Possibly because you don't play very often as a survivor and of course you defend the killers, but for me, since I play as a survivor and as killer for the same amount of time, it is much easier to hit an excellent skill check, than the doctor's skill check
-
You have to think that both survivors and killers are important, and I think that in the whole world it is much easier to find games as a survivor than as a killer, I am not sure, but I think that is because there are many more people who want to be survivors and much less people who want to be killers and I think I understand why: there is a video called "developer testing their own medicine" and is from this game that can surely explain it much better. It is an old video and many changes were made, but if the developers want fast games and more people who play as killers I think they would have to do something in favor of it; and just as the genrush is a reality, there should also be the killrush to create balance
-
@RainbowSuperLoki said:

I don't see what that would change. This would not fundamentally affect the balance of the game
Maybe now the mori can kill you without having to be previously hanged, I think that would be much better. It would be a balance because there is always a survivor who can escape, there is always an opportunity for a new killer, and the genrush can still happen, then it gives the killer an opportunity, I think that balance is that everyone has a chance, and since the devs want quick games what is better than being able to kill fast?

You're correct, there is actually a bug with matchmaking at the moment where the game will register killers as being at a different rank from what they are, and so match them inappropriately with survivors. There are other issues with the matchmaking system as well, though, so your problem might equally be one of those.
The good news is, the developers are working hard on trying to fix the issues and the matchmaking system is about to be overhauled, so hopefully you won't have to deal with this sort of thing for much longer. If it's too frustrating for you, you can always take a break and come back to the game after the new system is implemented, but if you would like to power through in the knowledge that it will soon hopefully be fixed, you can do that too.
As for people insulting you in the post-game chat, that's not unusual unfortunately. You should know that you won't get in trouble with the developers for camping or using NOED, though. Even if the survivors threaten to report you, it won't do anything. If the chat bothers you, I would advise either muting the chat altogether - there is a button you can click to hide the chat box - or just quitting immediately after the game ends and not sticking around to read anything they might have to say.
Good to know, thanks. I also want to clarify something, I do not have fun to camp, in fact I do not do it, I even always try to go for the survivor who is healthy to give the injured person a chance to recover, but when the game ends in seconds and all the engines already they were completed, sometimes I need to stay with the only survivor I have hung up to at least get a kill, but it is obvious that it is bad to be a killer who wants to at least be able to kill 1 player π
But when they say they are going to report me for that, I really don't know what else to do, do I play in a friendly way and don't kill anyone? I waste my time and let everyone win because everything I do is wrong? I am glad to know that if they report me for that I will not have problems. Many also complain that I am a tunneler but I really can't remember who was on the hook when there are 2 people injured together, when all the survivors are the same character is impossible for me to know who is about to die, I don't want to ruin the survivors' game and that they do not get points, the idea is that we can all have a good time, but it is difficult to be new to try to remember all those "rules" that the killers have, and thus prevent them from saying that they are going to report me or that I have no moral for killing them

-
Is there any possibility that my game has some error and that for a failure I am red rank as killer? I really can't understand it, I find it hard to believe that as a killer the survivors are always red rank and when I'm a survivor the killer is always red/purple rank and my teammates are green rank as me. God, I hope it's a bug in my game because it's really incomprehensible that something like this happens in 99% of my games
I don't want you to misunderstand me, I believe in what you tell me, but it's really hard to understand that a game is that unfair

read my post, due to thee dedicated servers the playerbase is fragmented all over the world, there are not enough 'green rank', or yellow ranks to consistently put them in one place all the time.
I understand what you say, but when I play as a survivor my classmates are of my level and the killer is always of a higher level, but when I play as a killer the survivors are always of a higher level, where the survivors of my level when I play as a killer? I know they exist because they are my allies when I am a survivor, but it seems that everyone disappears when I want to play as a killer π€¨
-
I read that recently they changed a perk to make the game easier for new survivors, but as a new killer they put me to play with people over 500 hours, am I wrong or this it totally ridiculous?
-
The most unusual thing is that when I manage to kill several people thanks to the NOED, people in the chat tell me that I have no moral, when I take care of the only survivor I could hang up they say they will report me for camping. I really don't understand, it's supposed to be played for fun but I never felt so frustrated in a game like this
-
I see survivors of my level, why when I am a killer do I never face them? it's as if all the players in my rank disappeared when I play killer and reappeared when I play as a survivor π€
-
When I play as a survivor I face high-ranking killers, who shows that they know how to play, and my teammates are just as bad as me, and low-ranking, but when I want to play as a killer all my opponents are experts, it's totally ridiculous, I can understand that the killer has the advantage that he can never die, but always facing players over 500 hours when I am a killer I feel that the game asks me not to play anymore
-
I look at his steam account and see that they have more than 500 hours of play (some have more than 1000 hours) , I have 52 hours and I have to face those people? I find it unfair
