My idea for a change to the iridescent head is keep only 1/3 hatchets available (depending if you're using the infantry belt or no) and replace the insta-down with 115% movement speed.
-
I once got a 4k as Huntress, I didn't camp or tunnel and I went straight away from the hook as soon as I hooked someone (and collected more hatchets).
In the post-game chat, we all said gg and they thanked me for not being toxic by camping or tunnelling and told me I was a good Huntress c: so there are good survivors out there, you just see the negative ones more.
-
I play both but slightly more survivor.
I've considered every now and then becoming a survivor main but I've made a lot of progress on killers I feel it would be a waste to just abandon it completely.
-
They should give us an option in settings where we can choose between a space bar mashing struggle mechanic or skill check mechanic.

I'm going to correct you here:
>Being toxic is intentionally going out of your way to ruin the game experience for the other side
just for your own satisfaction. That's it, last part is unnecessary. Most toxic players do that not to satisfy themselves, but to piss off the other player for whatever reason.
You said 'most toxic players' implying there is a minority that do it for satisfaction.
My definition still stands.
-
There's a difference between doing your job as a killer and being toxic.
Being toxic is intentionally going out of your way to ruin the game experience for the other side just for your own satisfaction.
Doing what you're supposed to do as killer, isn't being toxic.
-
It's not as simple as you seem to be implying.
The licensing for Pennywise is not as simple as 'having conversations with Stephen King', it all comes down to legal documents, likeness rights and meetings.
Stephen King has been known to be very protective of the license, so it would probably take ages for him (Pennywise) to appear in the game, I'd say it would be saved for an anniversary chapter.
-
Look what you've done 😥

That makes sense. What about menu theme music? I would love to be able to listen to that awesome Stranger Things Chapter music all day long.
I second this @Almo pass it onto the team and make it happen

Okay seriously. Why is an 11 year old even interested in DbD? I mean I know there are kids in that age that can process it well enough but there are reasons why this game has an age restriction..
Please who even listens to age restrictions

A lot of saddening negative responses to this thread.
It will be sad to see a veteran go from a beloved game I've always supported, I kind of relate to you as I'm considering moving on from this game and finding another to support.
Dead by Daylight has always been my go-too game for escapism and to have fun, but with how things are being managed lately, I'm considering dropping the game.

Just an inverted chainsaw? Seriously? Why?
It might come out on the live release, as well as the possibility of his own chase music.

But all the other licensed killer have thier music. I dont think they need licenes for music since they create it. I only know that pyramid heads musoc was created from one on konamis side and not dbd
If they do anything to the licensed characters, they're obligated to contact the license holder and be granted permission so they can go forward with that change. If they went ahead and implemented unique music for Bubba without contacting the licensee, they could find themselves in a legal battle and they could get sued for touching their property without permission.

And what profession do you exactly have? Other than sitting behind a screen personally insulting Developers may I add.

Probably because of the corona stuff they can't actually get together and work as efficiently.
If that's the case then how did Konami work with BHVR to get chase music for Pyramid Head?

@humanbeing1704 said:
Aren't those only done for full blown reworks like doc for example
Doc wasn't a rework. A rework is when the power is changed completely like Freddy.
Peanits confirmed on Reddit before that Doctor's changes weren't necessarily a rework and he got his own chase music. They only started giving different killers unique chase music when the Demogorgon came out.
-
They both also had no new chase music and the lobbies are really ######### with over 300 ping, so yeah I'm very disappointed with this mid-chapter. This is probably the most disappointed I have been with Behaviour in my entire time playing dbd.

My pick would be the Huntress
She is the best killer in terms of originality and it would be awesome to see a movie depicting when her mother was killed, how she went down a path of sadness and darkness by killing soldiers and girls, eventually leading to her being captured by The Entity. The movie could end with her hum and she throws a hatchet at the camera.

Those perks are not that op, and killers have already pretty damn strong perks like BBQ, nurse calling, monitor and abuse, pop, iron maiden. Especially DS and BT are useless if you don't camp and or tunnel. Dead hard is pretty useless most of the case's if it works it can give the survivor a lil of a chance to get to a window or a pallet, but tbh it does often not help, because the killer does not hit on the dead hard. In best case scenario it can be useful but not even almost as strong or game changing as BBQ or pop.
- You're forgetting that this is an asymmetrical horror game we're talking about, meaning one side isn't balanced to the other. Killers are meant to have strong perks because they're, you know, the killers. Survivors are not meant to be stronger than the Killers yet they have all these perks.
- DS and BT are not useless themselves, it's how the player chooses to use those perks which deems them as useless. Dead Hard does work 50% of the time if you time it correctly. The problem you and most of the community are talking about is latency, from the Killer's perspective it looks like the weapon hit, however with the survivor it appears to register a hit at an unusual angle.
Therefore, telling me most of the killer perks are too powerful when you quickly jump to defend survivors perks are convincing me that you're a survivor main and therefore have a biased complaint.

It is pretty OP because you can use the flashlight also to blind the killer in a chaise, while he vaulting a window or breaking a pallet, it's not much, but it gives you about 2 seconds heads up, that's something.
So it's not okay for killers to have "OP" perks but survivors are allowed? For example you have DS, Borrowed Time, Inner Strength, Dead hard all these second chance perks, you're telling me a buff to Lightborn is not ok?

Almost everybody has been begging for BHVR to slow down the updates and actually fix the bugs
There’s also the other half of the community that wishes for the bugs to be fixed but also to continue giving new content every couple of months as they’d be disappointed with skipping a chapter.

You forgot Clown
He belongs in the S tier if he's wearing the Mr Puddles cosmetic.

I honestly f hate those,, Sets'' cause i cant mix them in a fun way, i understand the legendary skins to be Sets and Alessia skin being a set but Legion and Nea?
For what? I want to mix the hoodie with a p3 head or the pants with the bloody shirt (The head is possible for now, because of a glitch)
I really hope They delete those borders cause some players are really creative with their mix-ups
The rabbit skin for Legion was a deal made with BHVR and Konami, they didn't want to mix and match the cosmetics as they feel the Robbie skins would be out of character if combined with anything else. The same deal also went for the Alessa and Lisa skin, they're different characters, so mixing and matching would take that idea away.
As for the Nea skin, I believe it was to stop clipping, mainly the hoodie. Then again most of the other cosmetics that are mixable clip with others, maybe it's just the start. Also they expressed that with sets they can be creative.

Others may disagree.

Me too, it really sucks when people are immersed for the whole game to the point the killer gets bored.

I don't speak for everyone. But think that the majority of people would be fine with delayed content if it meant the game had some of its many bugs finally fixed.
I would be in support of the same idea R6 has, but I would still be a bit disappointed if we skipped a chapter as I admire the creativity every two-three months.
-
The problem with point 3 is if the developers were to skip a chapter, a lot of the community would be disappointed.

Yeah, let me know when you're "generous" to killers.
Survivors constantly want a world of generosity and consideration from killers, but give them an inch and it's genrush-teabag-ggez time.
Oop, the false generalisations on survivors are really amusing.
I've died to a lot of killers today when I'm the last survivor and someone Dced. I didn't get pissed when he hooked me instead of giving me the hatch, I simply said 'gg' and moved onto another game. So no not all survivors constantly "want a world of generosity from killers" because that would go against the asymmetrical theme of Dead by daylight now wouldn't it.

@MojoTheFabulous said:
That means adding more voices and they didn't even do that for the Lisa legendary outfit.

My buff to Decisive Strike:
Make it so that the killer is stunned for the remainder of the trial and allows survivor's to do gens and escape.
-
Let's look at the definition of game toxicity: A toxic player is someone who negatively impacts a game in an intentional way. Bad game play and lack of understanding is not being toxic. However bashing anyone in game, leaving when things aren't going your way or intentionally aiding the enemy in any form is toxic.
When people start world war 3 in the end-game chat, that's toxic. (I recently had a Pyramid Head send me a death wish to my mother, so yes killers can be toxic too!)
Using what comes with the game that you bought with the blood point currency isn't toxic. To some yeah it can be viewed as a dick move, for example tunnelling and mori-ing on first hook. However it's definitely toxic game play when you look at the definition.

Pretty much what everyone said above. Smaller = easier to hide, and they all have pretty nice cosmetics. People used to think they had a smaller hitbox too, but that is false.

It's before the Yui jumps the window, when she do a little sprint. I already change the time where it happened
Re watching it, I thought it was just a vacuum vault mechanic (similarly to the old pallet vacuums), but Tru3's reaction is leading me to believe that it was a slight speed-hack to try and dodge the window hit. If you look earlier in the video the Yui actually sprints really fast and it's not a lagged sprint burst either.
