Randoms are just getting worse for this game. You gotta get discord or something and find a group. You'll never make it in solo queue anymore unless you are in high rank
Funny thing is I am in high rank, the matchmaking sucks regardless of rank
-
the game needs to be better before they even think about implementing VR, and besides, they were working with Starbreeze for the longest time and we all saw how VR turned out for them.
-
Surprise and Madness skillchecks, the game tends to lag on them 10/5 times so you having to deal with regular skillchecks can be a pain, but then you make the success area smaller or the killer uses oppression or you're facing a doctor and it becomes obnoxious solely on the fact that the game chugs slow as hell.

tacobot.dbd

demo is s tier change it now >:(
-
no
-
I'm just glad to hear he's still doing well for himself
-
Dragons grip + Ruin really ######### over one of my teammates.
-
when they camp it's annoying, otherwise they're fine
-
but i am a survivor main.... :(
-
It's sad too, Demo is one of the more balanced killers and I always have a good time against one, win or lose.
it sucks that his addons suck, maybe if they did something we'd see more of him.
-
just bring franklins 4head
in all seriousness though keys are tilting me, and i'm a survivor main.
my teammates will abandon me because it's convenient and then laugh at my expense, forcing the killer to kill me and only me because they need to points and don't want to depip.
I can't even blame the killers, cause keys are just obnoxious at this point for both sides of the realm.
-
run and scream, that always worked for me
-
the killers wants to give you a hug and you actively running away from them makes them sad.

Flavor-wise? Cool.
System-wise? Sounds like a lot of dev work for one Survivor.
Work? In a video game? Preposterous.
-
Every perk in the game, if we make every perk viable and good, the meta is varied and more fun.
I'm tired of playing against the same survivors with different skins, and I get actively punished for playing differently because the killer plays with the same meta.
And then everyone yells about it.
Make every perk viable and then the game can actually have variety and stop squashing creativity, because the only "optimal" way to play is by adhering to a ######### meta that everyone keeps complaining about.
-
because new things are hardddddd to learn and I don't want to learn anything, I just wish to run in circles mindlessly and point at the killer when they miss a swing
-
10 bucks for a skin you can't grind for, would be fine if the game was free or if the cosmetics were interesting.
For Dwight, he has so many cosmetic sets that aren't used by players because they're gaudy or weird looking. Or another example; Have you played any games with someone wearing Jeff's Wasteland costume? Or played against someone wearing the Hag's dress cosmetic?
There are too many cosmetics that look weird or gaudy, don't fit in with the character you're playing, and are 10 bucks to boot (5 bucks individually). It's absurd, and if they were going to put a price tag that high (and higher in some cases) they could at least make all the cosmetics look nice, and not just some.
-
outplayed
-
bang bang
-
All good ideas, because honestly any change in the right direction is good change.
However none of this will ever be implemented because the balancing team don't listen to the community whatsoever.

Dwight
-
so does his face, they had his likeness and they still made him look like he was melting.
Bruce Campbell deserves better than this
-
What's funny I haven't played enough games against them to see anyone take Victor hostage. Is no one playing twins?
-
Surprisingly Demogorgon, when you learn ways you can abuse hitboxes and shapes to increase your lunge distance it's real fun, too bad it's not optimal at all

Survivor queues are impressive and Killer queues are instant. I've been killing survivors all day and they just keep coming.
I need backup.
You got it, fellow Dwight
-
but now I know where you hide, so really it's a win win
-
undying is fine, it's a hex and we all know what happens to hex totems.
if anything this combo teaches survivors that they're going to have some difficulty winning games
-
Fine killer, horrible implementation.
Provided that the only real way to play them is with camping and slugging sort of makes them obnoxious to play against.
I understand that camping and slugging are things I just have to accept as a normal part of the game, as there's not much we can do to fix it. But when the only thing that a killer does is that, you begin to associate the killer with the behavior, instead of the player's behavior.
It's nothing short of annoying, and some people are just gonna DC against them, instead of playing them, which means lots of people would have wasted their money.

What? New Autohaven is way darker than the originals. I don't recall ever being in a position where it looked like I was chasing a shadow on old Autohaven, but on new Autohaven that happens frequently. I also frequently end up having to follow scratch marks instead of the Survivor because I simply can't see them.
I personally like how new Autohaven looks, but because of the darkness and clutter, it has moved into my bucket of maps that I'd rather not see.
No, I think they made them bright, or maybe it's just my settings. Honestly I don't know.
They just feel brighter overall, and the design of the clutter makes stealth harder, but thats just my opinion.
-
poorly
-
Demogorgon and Pig are best friends and I will accept no other point of view
-
I like what they did personally, however the breakable walls, the openness, and how goddamn bright it is really take away from the effort put into the model and design teams, it's too overexposed and not as creepy, not to mention difficult to hide in.
-
Remove the fact you need to heal someone beforehand and increase the broken timer to 40 seconds, it's a free heal off hook at the penalty of your safety, and you wouldn't be able to stack it with deliverance, which would objectively be a way too overpowered combination.
-
DS is BS, pure invincibility for 60 seconds, I have won so many games because the killer thinks they've secured a kill right at the end by catching me in the gate, I DS them and escape with bonus bloodpoints.
I've played both sides and know how obnoxious it is when survivors play offensively, and you can't do anything about it because it's either you waste time chasing the bodyblocking unhooked survivor with BT and DS, or chase the survivor who just unhooked their teammate who's already made it to a loop.
-
doesn't matter, survivors will go for cheeky flashlight saves regardless.
It's more fun when they think they've blinded you in a chase and boom, wallhacks
-
I like the idea, but the fact that it actively gives benefits to the survivors it could be easily abusable, IE: a SWF bring four identical offerings to buff themselves, not to mention the dark, loud gloom would make stealth incredibly easy.
The idea of randomized weather is good, but if it gave buffs and debuffs it would be very easily abusable.
-
It should be changed but not reverted, if a survivor can't escape because the killer is chasing them off the boxes and they can't leave through the gates, it would be seen as "unfair" and be reverted, or the pig's kill average would become inflated by the cheeky trap kills and she'd be nerfed to the ######### ground.
It should probably be changed so they have some power during the endgame, but not changed in such a way that it's essentially securing a kill if you put a helmet on someone after the gens are done.
-
they also gave free rift shards, considering how grindy it is that's really nice.
the code is on their twitter, sorry if it expired by the time someone is reading this
-
what number I am
-
too bright, darkening it would make it look better, help stealth, and could possibly make the game run smoother
-
Dwight here, thank you

Exactly what @Dwight_Fairfield said in his response. I'd prefer they don't include a character at all and create "generic" master challenges like "Stun the killer x times" or "Unhook yourself while using Slippery meat" instead of throwing there something just to say "Hey! this Rift features the Hillbilly, Nea, Adam and the Clown!" and then there is not even the lore for half the character they mentioned.
And just to reiterate a point on how ridiculous the number of charms are:
The Doctor and Jane had their rift with the Spirit and David
How many Doctor-related charms were in that Rift? 1
How many Spirit-related charms? 9
Jane-related? 2
David-related? 7
I mean, who the ######### could think that's a balanced thing? I'd just like to have at least 3 charms per each featured character, it's not hard, since as far as I know the ideas for new charms are not scarce among BHVR artists (the perk-charm idea comes to mind again).
I agree with you, it's seems unnecessary to just toss in a few charms based around one character when they could've used that time to make different, better charms.
Also, just a note; you @-ed the wrong Dwight, just as reference for next time.
