So the EZ Anticheat and the devs will ban people for making use a cosmetic glitch but does nothing against hacks that literally nuke the game? why am i not surprised at this point

I'm curious about the rest and why
My favorite map is hands down MacMillan Estate, Coal Tower to be exact. It's my favorite map because it was my first victory as a Killer and as a Ghostface when I was in Rank 20 on the fourth anniversary. I remember which were my first victims, without a doubt they were 2 Bills, 1 Ash and 1 Dwight. Never use power at all times.
And the one I hate the most of all is undoubtedly Coldwind Farm, all its variations, I hate it and it bothers me because of all the corn, because of the lighting of the map, the brown tone, etc. I hope that when it is reworked it will be a map to my liking along with Haddonfield, since now the maps that I once hated like Springwood and Ormond, have become my favorites.
Favorite: Lerys, looks great, 3 gen locks are rewarding for killers but there's enough pallets and windows to give survivors a possibility of winning
Least Favourite: All of the Corn Maps: Rotten Fields is boring and is just a "look through the bushes and pray" simulator, Fractured Cowshed is still absolutely way too safe, Rancid Abettor is the only one of the three i would consider liking and that's because i don't get it very often, it's a shame they aren't getting updated yet but god i hope it's soon
Edit: Forgot Thompson House, well, it's also boring, the middle is just a massive corn field with no loops, you go there as a survivor you will be hit

someobody playing serious would never bring franklins in the first place...
you'd be surprised, keys still haven't been nerfed so a lot of people run franklins if they see a key, regardless of what rarity it is
-
from what i've seen the lower parts are darker but the upper parts are brighter
-
This is the one time i will accept Demo being at the bottom of any tier list
-
patrol the area and nearby gens, if i don't see any auras i assume people are nearby
-
STBFL on Demo, not only is it amazing when you get 8 stacks but it encourages practicing Shred, anything that encourages using a killer's full kit is a objectively good thing
-
there already is a punishment, it's called "the other survivors not being dumb and just doing all the gens instead of trying to save"

Nope I never saw that. I always Span to a Blocked Gen. And how can this screw you??
because if the perk doesn't block off gens that are near survivors you have essentially wasted a perk slot and given them ample time to do gens, the fact you always spawn near blocked ones is down to bad luck

So A Hex without risk... Sounds fair?
the risk being that survivors will spawn near unblocked gens or that the perk doesn't block the gens you want, it's entirely down to RNG and sometimes it will screw you over
-
i definitely feel like BHVR would make DBD a lot better if they added a certain amount of hours they HAVE to work instead of just "work when you feel like" cause on one hand that means crunch is basically non-existent and stress levels will be low but on the other hand it means nothing gets done
-
keep in mind that after those 120 seconds are over the killer is basically playing with 3 perks for the rest of the game, it's basically a hex that won't get destroyed instantly

DS is mostly fine. I'd reduce the timer to 45 seconds and disable it when in a locker. I rarely get hit with DS when I play.
this, this is all they need to do to DS, make it last as long as pop and remove the DS locker "tech", then it'll be fine

Don't forgot the new HUD not only has hook indicators but shows which survivor is being chased for all survivors. These two changes represent a huge buff for solos. Finally we're seeing the SWF-solo gap get smaller.
i didn't even notice that, thank god that massive gap is getting smaller

Your saying this to someone who runs WGLF and Iron Will in his 4 perks. Yes those 2 amazing second chance perks I must have and can't play without.
It's hard to tell solo q players to run an anti-totem perk when they're already told to run Kindred, DS, perk to heal yourself (or hide your cries) and many other perks that I can't think of right now.
honestly i'm pretty sure the main reason undying-ruin was so painful was because, contrary to what some believe, SWF squads that can deal with it are rarer and trying to play against it in solo q was about as fun as watching paint dry
that being said, DS-Unbreakable-Soul Guard exists still and is also about as fun to face as watching paint dry

The key nerf will most likely be shadow nerfed right before the update releases on live servers like Discordance to avoid people spamming keys during the PTB. This already is happening because of the mori changes, but still.
if they actually shadow nerf keys i will be impressed

The counter is picking them up.
I don't know how you some killers still don't know this, but you can just down someone again after they DS you.
Also keep in mind that unless you have a hex it only lets you pick yourself up once, the complaints about it are still valid though and the combo should be looked at
-
personally i'm more disappointed that that's all we're getting, so many concepts and ideas and all we're getting is "you go faster"
-
as much as i want to say it'd make the game healthier, the main reason SWF is busted is because of 3rd party software, not being able to queue with friends, so all it'd do is ruin the game

Come on. You can give survivors more credit than that.
Survivors don't enjoy doing gens. They enjoy outsmarting the killer, finishing their objectives and escaping.
then why are they complaining so much about a combo that makes doing gens harder?
-
2nd Amendment: the first item you rummage out of a chest will be a AR-15, A Remington 870, a Glock 18 or a Musket, you can then kill the killer, winning on the spot
"exactly as the founding fathers intended"- Me
-
Remove aura reading and add a hard once per hex clause to the regen effect
-
that's a definite kek from me
-
Alternatively you can take advantage of the fact he's pitching a tent and do the gens without hinderance
-
I think my most satisfying moment was jumping off the balcony on Dead Dawg with Demo and hitting someone with shred who was basically on the other side of the map
my second favourite was absolutely bodying a toxic Nea (surprise surprise) as chainsawless Hillbilly, watching her t-bag then waste her flashlight as i had lightborn was the funniest thing i've seen

I have no beef with certain exhaustion perks. Lithe, balanced landing, sprint burst ( kind of ), and adrenaline. are some of the more fair perks.
Lithe requires you to already be in a good position to make use of it. Rewarding you for sticking to areas where you're not outpositioned.
Balanced landing requires you to set up the drop in the first place. Even with the perk you still suffer from a half second stun when landing. Putting you in a position that could land you on the hook. But also rewarding you for forcing a killer to endure the horror that is Haddonfield.
Sprint burst I find annoying because survivors typically use it as a dead hard when healthy. I main blight so i like to think they panic when they remember I have a sprint burst too. But as a survivor it can be used to get you out of a situation where you would normally be outpositioned because of your questionable positioning. letting you sprint to a loop to start the chase in a much more favorable position.
Adrenaline is highly situational, even if it gets you up from dying you could be slapped down instantly. But I dread going against a team that all get healed at the end, destroying my hard work and any hope of getting more than 1 kill in the endgame.
But one perk I hate with a passion is head on. Primarily because survivors use it as a bully perk. God, the 4 man SWF's I've faced that all used that perk.
The rest I consider crutches to one degree or another.
adrenaline, the perk that gives you the longest speed burst and a free health state is one of the more fair exhaustion perks? this i need to have explained ngl

if it gives me a excuse to yell "reject humanity return to monke" every 10 seconds i'd be down for it

I'd like to see more Plague and Demogorgon. I like going agaisnt plague because she's not boring to face if you actually cleanse. However, my teammates don't often agree with me, and many of them have access to the post-game chat, so...
And I just want to see more Demo. Almost never face it, and on the rare occasion when I do it's usually a really, really good demo that makes it hard to see what I did right and wrong because the whole deep-end mentality is a little BS.
As a good demo myself i can tell you that identifying mistakes against him is a lot harder then identifying mistakes with him

Demo for sure for me, I'd love to play against more of them
Hopefully we'll see more after the Addon-Rework, i know i'll still main him but hopefully better addons will entice more people to at least try him

is it bad that i can hear the Pillar Men theme when viewing this image?
-
I can feel my frontal-cortex melting send help
-
No that's been around since Badham got reworked, so a couple of months
-
I used to main Hag during the old-ruin days, i switched to Demo on a whim and after holding a 3 gen and landing some amazing shreds he's been my main ever since
-
Marry: Yui or Huntress
Kiss: Yui, Huntress or Demo (cause he's a doggo)
Kill: Bubba, Laurie or Nea ( i'll make it quick and easy, they don't deserve it given how many of them have ruined peoples' but hey, not gonna stoop to their level)
-
Something tells me that A. it'd be bugged on release and B. it'll basically never come into play, neat idea though
-
Doesn't strike me as sensical but hey, you do you

i think this is a case of "remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer"
(if you know where this quote is from you and i can be friends)

High Skill Ceiling, Low Skill Floor, you should be able to succeed if you are good but shouldn't be impossible to use if you are bad (Nurse i'm looking at you)

I wear this charm to help killers tbh
the effort is appreciated
-
1) Matchmaking is broken and puts browns yellows and greens with purple and red SWF squads
2) At red and purple ranks you basically have to play nurse, spirit, freddy or billy or lose
3) Gens go way too quickly against smart teams, meaning you have to run Undying-Ruin, B&Q and Surveillance or lose
4) Certain maps are way too safe or give the survivors a easy stealth option that requires less then no effort (coughYamokacough)
5) DS-Unbreakable exists and can be used for free with no cost or requirements other then getting hooked
6) at red and purples if you don't play perfectly you lose
7) SWF Toxic Meta squads exist
-
@Clevite said:
I believe this game is killer sided except against the highest level of skill and cooperation.
I myself 4k in red ranks much more than I 4 man escape as a solo, also red ranks.
It really comes down to chases and genny commitment. But, let's be honest, how often do we see this in solo q? So, 4 optimal survivors will make it survivor sided if they are wasting a lot of the killers time and pounding gennys.
If killer is winning chases quickly , hooking, and prioritizing genny protection while survivors play a bit too cautious, then killer wins 90% of these games.
so basically it's killer sided in ranks 20-8 and survivor sided in ranks 8-1, makes a lot of sense
-
please explain how the complaints about a four man team with 4 second chances each and abusing 3rd party programs to know exactly where the killer is and what he/she is doing are nullified by the existence of solo queue, given that this is your first post i'm excited to see what your response is
-
I just put "someone's parents must be really disappointed with them" and move on, i've learned enough not to even contemplate letting the conversation go on, they're full of it and i have better things to do then listen to a bunch of bullies
-
me when i get matches like that

@Pulsar said:
No.
It doesn't need a big nerf. Remove Undying aura reading on non-hex totems. That's all.
Ruin/Undying promotes healthy gameplay. If you are a tunneling/camping Killer, you won't get value from it. If you spread out pressure and move around, you will get a ton of value.
At most, you'll have to cleanse four totems. You could also cleanse two. It's RNG.
this, then if the killer wants to be able to track who's on their totems they'd have to run Thrill, i.e, 3 perks that can be removed and aren't hard to find if you know where to look
-
SWF in the normal dev intended sense is not the problem, SWF with the full meta and voice-comms who are out to curb stomp any killers they find are the problem
-
This just sounds evil on Massive TR Doc or Freddy
