But if you wanted a big change to objectives and new gameplay, hard to do to the current game and dread to think how many more bugs it would create. Cannot see new game happening but ready for some changes to objectives and gameplay style to freshen things up
Easy: new game modes.
That way we keep all our characters and cosmetics.

Silent Hill looks great, but playing the map is horrendous. The absolute worst.
Hawkins is slightly less abysmal, but is still a pain in the buttocks.
Lerys is a good map...but as good as the update looks...it's a little too dark for my liking.
Gideon is the daddy. Best map.
-
No. All the licenced elements would likely have to be renegotiated for example.
I would much rather they just continue to update and upgrade this game.
That's why you haven't seen Minecraft 2. The original is so good...why make a whole new game when you can just continually add to a proven winner?
-
I would of just been happy if the ability to 'feather' the chainsaw so Hillbilly walks around with it aloft was removed, and then added his perk updates.
-
You should try honey beer. Delicious.
-
I find it hard to be invested in original survivors, especially the last few. They've been pretty lame.
I am always more interested when a licenced chapter is incorporated as it's intriguing to see how it's represented.
-
The new and improved Leatherface. Then you can still have fun with your 'saw.
-
It was a boring grind. I am not going to get the premium anymore. Will just do the 'play the game' challenges like 'fix 12 gens' or 'hook 25 survivors'. Some of the challenges are just not fun. In fact, they're utterly annoying. I prefer just to play the game for fun, not grinding towards cosmetics and charms I will never equip.
-
Make him a skin for Wraith and he can use his ruler to make the bong-bong.
-
Sitting at home...living a comfortable life...playing games all day...taking photos of their food...and unboxing the latest pop culture merchandise that drops through their door.
Tiresome. Very tiresome.
-
Good point. Nearly all of my past gen games have stopped supporting online play. I want my whole back catalogue refunded with a personal letter of apology from each company director.
And those clothes I wore as kid...they don't fit anymore! I demand compensation!
-
It's all...so tiresome.

I never played that game, how is it?
It's superb.
Think Minecraft meets Cannibal Holocaust and The Descent.
There's good twists in the story and the multiplayer expands longevity.
It's often on sale price, I believe it is currently included in the PS4 multiplayer sale at the moment.
I would definitely recommend it.

Freddy. He got set on fire and burned alive.
Mask voice: "SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSMOKIN'!!!!"

The other two killers are too titchy.
-
Absolutely not.

How did you get electrocuted mate? You really have gone through a lot, wow.
I was a child. I stuck a metal coat hanger in to an electric oven's internal section and it went BOOM. ๐คฏ
I've had some other close calls, but some are a bit sinister, so I kept my listing relatively light-hearted.
-
I think Myers was my first favourite killer, but that's just due to me being a huge life-long Halloween fan.
Afterwards, I enjoyed playing Clown the most. But I think it's just because I like the Clown character and lore.
At the moment, I usually use Leatherface with a good build of Surveillance, Corrupt Intervention, BBQ&C and Pop.
-
-Was lucky not to die of electrocution as a child.
-Have fallen out of a moving train.
-Had my head slammed in to a wall, was knocked out and was rushed to hospital.
-Have had my head stamped on, resulting in a broken nose and smashed teeth (fixed).
I think these events justify some of my personality quirks ๐
-
Pyramid Head is my personal bottomer.
-
I think they should be just left open indefinitely with completion/unlockables done at the player's own pace.

I did this, with Plunderes instinct, got a purple or pink key in 50% of the games or so. But yeah it can be hard to locate.

Having to unlock a hatch with a key pissed me off no end. This task pretty much requires you to SWF, someone with a key, someone with a map with a black lock tracker. I've only ever found the exit hatch with key in hand three times in all my years of dbd since 2016 (only play by myself)
Key + The Game + Left Behind.
The hatch always spawns on the lower floor. Best map for hatch escapes.
-
It's so much more fun when not worrying about challenges/achievements.
Was happily chasing SWF and stamping on the gen as Big Foot Bunny.
-
I always seem to get spanked by these two.
-
Agreed. I would happily go without skins/special events/passes in order to have more dedication on game fixes and optimisation.
The odd bloodhunt here and there, fine.

I feel the same, last pass was better than this one, I really don't care if I finish the current one or not.
I think the next pass should add free stuff on the empty spaces, at least some BP as fillers.
Some charms don't feel worth at all, especially for people that moved from console to pc (like myself that I lost both the lantern and the vial)
I hope they don't make other challenges like Dwight the brave and Dwight the fright on the near future.
Although I didn't have that much problem doing the Dwight challenges, the fact that it had to be done all in one match, with no indication of how far you got when failing, was a real turd.

I haven't played it at all in recent years, but I used to really love the Dead Space games.
Trapped all alone in outer space with a bunch of feral, grotesquely mutated creatures with blade hands, that can pop out of any surface any moment to dismember you or eat you, knowing that you'll probably be alive to feel most of it, and some of your only human company being a double-crosser, a murderous religious zealot, and a bunch of space station employees who get killed before your very eyes. Spooky.
Ah! Forgot Dead Space.
I left out loads of popular zombie games too.

Ok guys, i sincerely lack the skills to create a proper banner for a new killer, so i am only going to explain my idea.
With the release of piramid head we really need a new original killer. So listen up and if you like it vote it and bring this to BHVR attention
Welcome the Hive! This killer is based on One of human most common fears; Bugs!
Let's set a template for the lore. I imagine this killer being a wicked scientist, studying the possibility to train bugs (especially wasps and bees) to create weapons. Like a killer wasp who can be trained to recognize a particular human (maybe with feromones or something like that, who knows?) And assault him, killing him maybe with tons of stings or who knows... Devs are sure much better than me with lore.
Let's go with his power. The hive is now a resurrected creature which body became a whole hive for several kind of bugs. Maggots, worms, bees, wasps, flies... And so, he should be able to use them at his own will. Let's say his power is similar to the one the plague has. He can unleash bugs on either survivors, pallets or generators. He must be close range, let's say 2/3 meters more than what he needs to do a basic non lounge attack. He can cast his power once every 30 seconds.
If the targets is a generator, he will unleash tons of maggots that slow down the repairing, increase speed at which gens regress and make skill checks harder to complete. If a skill check is failed, maggots attack the survivor, causing random (but rare) screams of pain/fear, but cannot damage the survivor anyway. Maggots on a generator remain until the gen regress of 30% OR it gets repaired by 50% more than it's actual state. They only last for 45 seconds on a survivor unless he does an action like we do when doctor puts us on insanity 3.
If the target is a pallet, he unleash termites for 30 seconds. If a survivor use the pallet to stun the killer within 30 seconds, or if the killer has to break it, both the stun and destroy animation last 30% less. Not too shabby, especially if it stacks with same effects from Perks
What if he use his power on a survivor, then? He can unleash flies/bees/wasps, depending on the numeber of generators completed.
0-1, flies. Survivors infested by flies emits a faint noise, which can be heard if the killer is close. (Useful if the survivor is sneaking). Also, if injured, the survivor is also broken. it lasts 20 seconds. Then they go sleeping..more on that later (broken lasts till healed)
2-3 gens bees. They make the survivor suffer and make the same noises of an injured survivor (or increase the volume slightly if already injured) but without the blood loss. They also give you broken status and major blood loss if already injured. Their effect lasts 30 seconds (broken last till healed) Then they go sleeping.. more later
4-5 gens he unleash killer wasps. If a survivor cannot get rid of them in 30 seconds, (timer stops if survivor is in chase or hiding in a Locker) they deplete a whole health status to the survivor, and then go sleeping.
Bugs cannot be cleansed if sleeping, unless you heal with a med pack or get healed with a med pack.
Bugs can infest another survivor if he tries to heal the infested survivor.
You can't see which bugs infest another survivor, but with high volume you can hear different buzzings if they are not sleeping.
To clean yourself from a non sleeping bug you have to perform an action like you do with doctor. Off course you need skill checks.
If you get hooked you get rid of any bug, sleeping or awake.
Now about perks; the hive punishes severely survivors who cooperate.
Perk 1) Hive Mind. You can see the aura of Survivors doing any coop action within 20-25-30 meters.
Perk 2) Hex infestation; if a survivor suffering from any negative status effect is injured gets healed by another injured survivor, the healing speed is lowered of 10-20-30%, and the one who is performing the healing action gets the same status effect and cannot be healed for the next 5-10-15 seconds.
Perk 3) creeping fear; if a survivor is put in the dying state, until he gets hooked or healed by one health status, you can see the aura of any survivor who's 10-15-20 meters away from the dying one.
About the weapon of this killer... I think a short spear, like a stinger, would be wonderful.
Now tell me my friends, what do you think about this? Any suggestion is well received
EDIT, HELP I DON'T KNOW HOW CAN I ADD POLL OPTIONS. I'm getting crazy and feel so stupid ahahhaha... If any dev may help me, adding a poll option with Yes and one with no, i would be so grateful. Thank you! And please comment me how to do it by myself
I like the idea of an insect-associated killer, but with your concept I have a couple of perk issues:
-'Hive Mind' is far too op. It works as a combination of Discordance and Nurse's Call.
-'Creeping Fear' would encourage slugging and camping. Also, imagine a dying survivor simply crawling toward healthy survivors and giving their position away. It would be a nightmare.
-
Overall? Plague.
-Didn't like the killer apperance design. Not frightening. Looked like a mixture of an Egyptian goodess and Evil-Lyn from Masters Of The Universe.
-Jane is far too noisy. Her only interesting perk was Head On.
-The map was uninspiring.
-
Hallowed Blight.
-
This is the thing I don't understand: the need for completion.
"I don't like it, I won't use it...but I must have it."
I was pretty much like this until I realised that I was playing DBD just to get progression toward new skins. Skins I would never use. And the challenges I were attempting made for gameplay styles that lacked any enjoyment.
And the other headache-inducing exercise was attempting to complete achievements to gain trophies. Although I did manage to get platinum, I have since ceased trophy hunting. I mean what I am getting out of it? Definitely not fun, that's for sure.
But again, regarding crowns, it's not the grind that irks me: I just feel they look bad.

The complete chapter is available on ps store ๐

Are you on PS4 or XBox?
The complete chapter is available via the console stores.

Killer can be a little irritating at times.
-
A skin which is a new character ie Lisa

It's always been this way, trust me.

I also have a weird tendency to tunnel bunny fengs, and I have no idea why. I think its literally killer preference. I hate killing Dwight's, if there's a Dwight and hatch spawned I spam my power until he escapes lol
I think it's because someone is wearing a rabbit costume thinking "Me's a bunny" with cutesy blink face.
Well no. You're getting butchered.
-
Well if there is enough people mentioning their willing to purchase a skin for an expensive price...it shouldn't be too long until it's released.
-
Well I haven't had many opportunities to play this week, but in the matches I have had, there have been quite a few Lisas.
If people are buying at that price...the price will remain. After a while they could put it at a sale price for a limited time once it shrinks in popularity.
-
Myers for the add-ons.
-
I believe thats the same ๐

Bah. Got her Adept and used her with Blood Pact to get the Healthy Obsession trophy.
I have no intention of using her again.
-
All good considering.
Welcome to the DBD forum.
-
As a killer, I understand many survivors are doing those soul-destroying Tome challenges. For that reason, if the last survivor has been a good egg and doesn't struggle, they will be taken to the gate, struggle out, open it and get the escape.
If however, the last survivor has been a toxic little swine...there is a hook with your name engraved on it.
Exception: if I am going for a killer adept or a EGC challenge...you're deader than dead.

His lunge is exactly the same as everyone elses ๐คทโโ๏ธ
It's a meme ๐
-
Some people do it because it's an easy way to get the needed Benevolent rank for some of Tome challenges. Unhook one, then get hooked and die.
-
If they do, I would rather they were just Legendary Skins for killers like Legion etc
-
-Spine Chill (the best)
-Self-Care (What???)
-Borrowed Time
-Empathy
-
My opinions on the chapter:
-I won't use any of the perks.
-Once I get the Adept, I will rarely touch the killer. This is same for others like Oni and Deathslinger.
-The map looks great but playing it is a ruddy headache.
