That was a very dominant performance.
I'm on PS4 and I must say Blight is my least liked killer. I just can't get the hang of his rushing. I'm also lousy with Oni and his blood fury.
-
Good. I did the same at the start of April. Had a full month off.
Only go back when you miss it.
-
On release, Trickster's Adept seemed ridiculously tricky (no pun). I had a month off DBD, and managed to get Adept after a couple of matches. I had the "I'm gonna do it!" feeling.
It was a tough one. But I thought I was going to have issues with Blight and Deathslinger, but got them with ease.
I did have trouble getting Adept with Pyramid Head. Someone asked if they could try on my PS4 and got it first time!
Adept Nurse on PS4 was also a chore.
I just wish killer adepts were 4K and not based on points.

100% and 100%.
All trophies unlocked on PS4.
-
I'm not entirely sure.
Brought the game on disc on release...purchased all DLC except Trickster chapter (unlocked with shards)...got both clothing dlc packs (charity/head cases)...and have quite a few skins...
Whatever it is...it's too much.

Im not on console but yes, i only play her when a challenge forces me to play her...
I'm the same with Blight, Oni and Deathslinger. They're all 'challenge only'.
-
The issue with killer skins is, whilst many look great in the store, the actually player being killer can't appreciate them in action. That's the nature of first-person.
-
I am looking forward to the Haddonfield update. Currently, the map really doesn't feel authentic.

Honest question - don't take offense - but why do so many people watch these DBD streamers instead of just playing the game themselves? To each their own, I'm not saying it's "bad", I just never understood why someone who's interested in a game would rather just watch someone else play it when they could be having the fun instead.
Thank you. Finally.
Complete agreement.

Bare chests...Big butts...spoons...just going for a nap.

In Aptil/May, I took an entire month off DBD and this forum. The main reason was the behaviour of a high quantity of the community. Just eye-rollingly predictable in terms of toxicity.
I came back and found myself enjoying the game again. The rift is certainly far more realistic for casual players with the reduced amount of XP needed for a fragment.
I did admittedly find myself getting a little stressed yesterday. Was doing the new challenges, but survivor queues were so long I ended up attempting the killer challenges. I then I was getting matched up with a load of childish losers.
A break does help now and again.
-
Catching that survivor who has been looping, tea-bagging and flashlight clicking...with tier 3 tombstone Myers.
-
Quite tired.
-
I mainly play as Claudette and David. I also use Tapp.
Everyone else is just extra.
-
You must have eyes in the back of your head.

Unfortunately Demogorgon would very likely not be an option due to being licensed. But he would be perfect for a Licker or a Hunter skin.
Thinking of other possibilities:
The Licker could be best suit The Hag from the originals.
Iron Maiden would work with Wraith or even Trapper.
At a push, HUNK could be a skin for Legion, running around with his combat knife.
-
Wait till later when the new challenges are released.
Heads will spin with some of the unorthodox player behaviour.
-
Agreed.
Even though I have achieved all the Adepts, some killers (Blight/ Oni/ Deathslinger/ Pyramid Head/ Trickster etc) I wouldn't have touched again unless there is a challenge that forces me.
When I saw those Oni challenges last pass, I was concerned because I am pants playing as Oni.
If the challenge is really ridiculous, I will play nice and farm. Grab challenges for example.
-
Deathslinger.
He wants to catch me and cash me in.
-
Blight.
I hate that guy.
-
Unpopular opinion: I didn't enjoy the film.
It wasn't as bad as fellow overrated horrors like Mama and Hereditary, but it still didn't hit the spot.
-
Manhunt.
-
PS4 player since release:
To be fair, I never truly mastered it.
I only play as Nurse when challenges force me to.
-
I prefer licensed. I enjoy finding little familiar touches in the maps and having add-ons associated with the franchise.
Saying that, some of the DBD originals has some rather good backstories, eg Clown, Trickster and Wraith.
-
When playing DBD? Absolutely not. It's one of those games where sound is a mjor part of the game, listening out for survivor actions and perks eg Discordance and Tinkler.
-
One major issue is that with each new survivor OR killer, 3 new perks have to be cooked up.
As time goes on, effective perks that don't conflict are going to be more difficult to think up.
That's why we are now starting to see new characters with one reasonable perk and two useless ones or two which are basic tweaks of older perks.
-
I play occasionally with one particular player and sometimes his mates. The last time was a week or so ago, just to help out with some of his remaining Rift challenges.
Also, when I do play with someone else...I don't go around purposefully antagonizing the killer. These butt-plugs who dash around teabagging, bodyblocking and flashlight clicking are truly damaging the game. Behaviour like that can put people off playing. I have never understood the mentality of these SWF teams who's sole purpose is to gleefully annoy until the killer quits.
-
Dead Hard. Borrowed Time. Decisive Strike. Adrenaline. A green or above flashlight with extended battery add-ons.
It's all...so tiresome.
-
Mark Dice.
-
I know one thing: it's a pain up the bloody backside.
-
Wholeheartedly agree.
The generator grabs are especially glitched.
-
I'm not sure if it's her. We'll jugs have to wait and see.

I like the way The Clown stomps out of his caravan, annoyed that he's been woken up with a hangover by Kate's guitar strumming.
-
Pig.
She has a stalk mode, a rushing attack and a slow-down power. Her perks are handy, especially Surveillance, which makes up for her lack of mobility around the map.
-
Claudette and Wraith.
-
No, I started with the original Resident Evil back in 1996...but DBD did influence me to watch Stranger Things.
-
If there isn't a realistic bounce mechanic, I predict much online screeching.
-
Yesterday, I had the distinct misfortune of having to watch a video of someone calling himself "Mr Beast" (I was looking after someone who was feeling ill).
I imagine that "Mr Beast" and his lackeys are a general representation of a SWF team.
-
Knightmare.
-
Clementine.
-
I like 2 and 3, but idea 1 is a bit of an issue: if a survivor cleanses, the Plague is given an audio notification and a fountain turns white. This gives the cleansed survivor's location away and leaves them vulnerable. The Plague will likely locate them before they could heal. That could be a real pain.
-
The only time I get pretty frustrated as killer is when doing Adepts or challenges.
-
I've got all the challenges done. Every single one to date.
However, in part 4 of Tome 6, I had trouble with Risky Repairs (complete 2 gens in killers terror radius in single trial) and the 5 malicious emblem one.
Risky Repairs relies more on luck rather than skill or simply playing the game. Malicious emblems are always a pain in the backside.
Don't get me wrong, occasionally you get a challenge that is difficult.
-
Michael, Laurie and Pig.
-
I hope not.
The outpouring of simperfaction will blow the Trickster reveal out of the water.
-
Clown. Simple, effective and realistic.
-
The same applies with subsequent skins for licensed characters.
It's all red tape. You really think BHVR don't want to include 2018 versions of Myers and Laurie? Or Hoffman and Kramer as legendary Pig skins? We all know things like that would sell...cells.
It's down to the licence-holders.
-
I am old enough to remember when the original Resident Evil came out on the PS1, so it has a special place in my heart. 4 was also a fantastic edition and I enjoyed 7 too.
Saying all this, I think 2 would be the best game to base a DBD chapter.
Leon & Claire, Mr X and the RCPD Police Station.
And have some legendary skins like Chris, Jill and mutated Tyrants etc.
-
Doesn't it allow more if you have a million and put in a bloodpoint code?
-
I obviously don't want this, but I would like to see basements that are unique to the map or even better, unique for each killer (but that could act as a killer spoiler in the early match).
