  • I still say she is saying “stop right there, criminal scum.” That’s me, though.

It an ancient dead language, and honestly doesn’t matter. I would rather not know what she is saying because it leaves room for imagination.

  • Just depends what you want or expect from the game. I stopped caring about rank long ago, I just play who I want to and do what I want to. If I get kills, great, if I get destroyed, whatever... it is what it is.

I honestly don’t play as near much as I used to. I took a break from it for awhile now and it honestly did me a lot of good. I suggest you play some other games and let off some steam there. When you come back you’d be surprised how you see things as opposed to how you did then.

  • Variety is the spice of life, or in this case death.

Playing as or against the same killer over and over results in redundant and boring gameplay. The same strats, the same chases, everything. A blinking nurse or a charging billy is what you will see.

Not all killers need to pack the power of these two, but many need some sort of boost to make them VIABLE to use. The skill ceiling is only so high with some killers just because they lack map pressure and/or good chase powers. You can be the best trapper in the world and still get stomped by average survivors. This when it becomes a problem.

  • I let a person survive.

Although I generally do not play serious if a disconnect or two happens. I will farm a bit and let them go. It’s not fun for me to chase a team a man down and it’s not fun for them.... UNLESS they want to be pricks about it, then it’s a quick game

  • It would be amusing if the traps could slowly chase survivors. Hear the chattering of the teeth as it wiggles towards you and then SNAP.

Yeah I know it’ll never happen, but I’d go Trapper main forever if I could just witness that happen.

  • If you manage to get haddonfield the perk is absolutely #########. There are a ton of crows that hang around the outskirts of the map. While yes if you are paying attention, you can get their location while they circle the map, it’s hard to see those outside areas behind fences and inside houses.

Granted, this is a very niche situation, but it’s fun to use there nonetheless. I did it once just to see, but I never kept it.

More killers to be rank 1 viable.

    This.

  • Some maps just aren’t for Billy. A great example of this is Lerys. So many turns and windows, it does not click well with him.

Open fields are a Billy’s playground. Anywhere you can abuse his chainsaw dash to pressure gens makes him on par with the nurse in those maps.

  • Wow. You put some serious thought into this. Impressive.

  • Honestly depends on your play style, which from what I can see is quite varied.

As stated before, he’s an excellent blood point farmer, especially if you use an addon that boosts deviousness gain. Many people in the lower ranks just flat out hate playing against him because of how irritating he is.

So if you want to terrorize low ranks and get blood points, he’s your man.

Oh, and if you really want to ruin their day, run noed. The salt is quite spectacular.

NoED and Hex Ruin are being abused and overused its no fun trying to do trials if they are 89% gonna be fails , I have honestly gotten so tired of hex ruin and quick hook killers I have to DC if i enter a match and in 3 minutes half my team is dead ,no show from load crashes or the gens are screwed by hex ruins atleast make the totems easier to locate and not waste valueable play time hunting the map and likely ending up dead on a hook right off the get go !

Wait... what? Quick hook killers? Unless you are making a tunneling argument (which is something I don’t care for either)... what is this garbage?

You legitimately expect us to NOT hook you quickly? This game is a race against time. We aren’t going to give you a head start. If I find you, I will down you and I will hook you. Be it 20 seconds into the game or a full minute. Tell you what, I won’t hook survivors quickly if you all just stand around and hide for the first minute of the game and do nothing, okay?

If you are also at a point where you can’t find totems, learn placements. Use small game (if it still works on totems, haven’t played survivor in awhile). Most games see ruin destroyed in the first minute, so you must be blind or your teammates are absolute idiots.

  • No, noed is not broken. Survivors are broken.

  • You killed survivors. You did something against their made up rules that you didn’t follow. That’s why they whine.

In all seriousness, just ignore them like others have told you. I don’t even bother to have conversations with survivors after the game. It’s an annoyance I can very easily live without.

  • Asking survivors not to do gens is like asking a killer not to kill. That is the entire point of the game.

  • So you want us to leave the hook when the exit games are opened and chase other people? If we aren’t running need you want us to chase others who will easily flee out of the gates before we can down them? Or watch your teammates body block you as you run safely away and we get nothing for our efforts?

Hate to say it, kiddo, but if you are caught at the end of the game then you are going to get camped. That’s just how it is. I won’t camp during the game unless someone REALLY pissed me off, but this is common play. Sorry we don’t cater to your tears.

  • Looks like you used a translator, but I think we get the idea.

Yes, killers are not balanced. This is a common problem in this game. We all want it, trust me.

Or just play either huntress or leatherface you know?

    Or just stick to Billy/Nurse.

Why are new killers released that nobody plays in the first place?

Personally? I don’t like leatherface or the huntress. I go by how a character looks and feels when I play them. I am not out to always 4K, not out to rise to rank 1 (though I have been there plenty), and have nothing to prove. This game is just fun for me and a change of pace from what I usually do.

That makes your point invalid on a personal level, but it is very valid point to many others. There is no draw to bring people to this killer due to the fact she lives in the low/middle tier of the killer pack.

  • Puking in survivors is more of a judgment call for the plague.

I only hurl on them if I:

    A) Intend to commit to a chase, intend on putting them in the broken status and then dropping them in one swing.

    B) Just to get the disease moving on them without striking them. Survivors seem to be reluctant to take the disease off unless they are injured, so if anything it just irritates them.

I don’t hit them with vomit, hit them, and then lose them. I don’t want to give them that added benefit of healing at the fountain. You will either take the disease off when healthy or run around and risk me hearing you while you cough... If that happens, I will then choose option A.

Just really depends on what I want to do. Either way you are wasting time or spreading the disease.

  • Funny, I always thought toxic pricks existed just as much before as much before as they do now.

I am the exact opposite. I laugh at the negative coments and love to make them angry.

I camp and tunnel when I see fit or when I feel like it and try to make every game miserable for every survivor I get to catch. I always have a good time, that's what important to me.

To each his own, my friend.

  • Vigo the butch?

  • It’s not really a “cure” for anything. It’s not like the Entity sat through medical school to figure this out.

This is a warped reality where it decides how things work. The vomit stream is one of the Entity’s “gifts” to those it bestows killer status upon, so it decides what effects that power will have. It simply decided to make a counter to the power it created to give the survivors hope, which just feeds the entity further.

  • i just think the Entity doesn’t allow it. Its realm, its rules. I have on more than one occasion said that four survivors, or just David, could take out a knife wielding twerp of a killer in Legion.

Now if you want to go toe to toe with Leatherface, Michael, the clown, or any of the other oversized brutes, best of luck to ya.

  • Herman also began to enjoy his work a little bit too much. He was experimenting with mind control and it is easy to assume that he did not care about the health of his... subjects.

The crazed headgear may something that he himself rigged up as a contraption in an attempt to exert mind control and terror over the people he worked over.

The entity “may” have had something to do with it, but honestly I think Herman did a lot of it himself.

It’s not just meant for breathing. Stridor also increases the sound effects of survivors whimpering while injured. It’s a direct counter to Iron Will

I agree with you though. It isn’t worth a perk slot and can even throw off killers by making it seem as though survivors are closer than they actually are.

I’m not sure if it effects survivor sounds while vomitting. Does Stridor effect sound while intoxicated by the gas by Clown? If it does then I’d assume it also would with Plague.

Hmm, wasn’t 100% aware of that. I have only used it a few times personally and I have never been a fan. Guess I never paid attention.

It would be very hard to tell from a clown if Stridor would work. Unless your random toss hits a random survivor, you are generally in a chase and the effects of his gas are very short term. Plus you have to consider distance from you to that survivor. Just be tough to gauge, but a good question for thought

  • In all honestly, two people got away in one game. It’s gonna happen through a hatch or the exit doors themselves in any game you play.

What does it matter? They had to use a key to get away from you, so you were clearly stomping all over them. Just laugh it off, say gg, and move on.

  • Gretzky? We have a hockey themed killer now?

In all seriousness though, yes the effects will stack. The addon will explicitly tell you if it can be stacked.

  • Leading your target is the only way to hit them properly. Unless they are running in a straight line, this is how it must be done.

Are you fully charging it? You won’t gain as much distance if you just do a quick shot. There is a long stream that comes out of the center that actually counts as the projectile. It can be hard to see with the other stuff spraying out of the corners.

Plus, DBDs hitboxes have always been off. I have puked on survivors that I know I had no business of hitting and missing those I specificially aimed for.

  • If you have any sense in your head and have basic looping skills, the doctor is not difficult.

What amazes me is that you believe that his “zap” screwing with your skill checks is a leg up on other killers.

You have clearly not gone against a good nurse, billy, hag, or spirit. You want to see a leg up on some of the other killers? Look no further.

  • It is meant for breathing, not effects of the vomit.

Regardless of how the last person answered, he’s correct. It’s not worth a slot and is overall pointless.

Mm. Yes, all four murdering one poor soul. David King and Jeff would not stand a chance.

It has always troubled with the legion of the idea of one teenager taking on full grown adults, even some as jacked as David.

Yes the legion has a knife (or a ruler with a compass point taped to it), but he or she could easily be overpowered.

I wholeheartedly agree that the entire legion should be on the playing field. They are strong as a unit, not as an individual. A mori would actually show the full power of an entity driven group of psychopathic teens.

I can just never take the legion seriously because of their current state.

  • You’ve never gone up against a high ranking billy main, have ya?

  • A mori with all four of them involved would be interesting. All four legion members ganging up on the survivor would actually make Legion look like a credible threat.

  • Sounds to me like a lot of speculation. You checked every chest yourself, every single chest? All of them? Up until the very end of the game?

    I somehow totally doubt this.

  • I rather enjoy using the plague. Yeah, she has a lot of shortcomings with her craptastic map pressure and wonky power, but overall she is fun to me.

I think it’s just because you flail someone in the head with an incense burner. For some reason that is absolutely hilarious. She could’ve gotten a knife, a club, an axe, or any Babylonian weapon.

Nope, you get an iron censer on a chain. To me, that’s comedy.

Plus she looks cool as hell.

  • I just don’t care. I generally don’t respond to any negative comments because it just feeds trolls.

I don’t camp or tunnel, and I tend to gravitate towards games where everyone will have a good experience.

That being said, no matter what you do, someone will always be whiney or crying in the end because it was unfair they died first. Oh well, they can get over it because I don’t care.

  • Those said skilled survivors would all be forced into broken status for the entirety of the match. They would also be coughing, vomiting, and emitting green gas, making them into beacons saying “HI KILLER I IZ HERE”

No matter the skill of the survivors, at least one of them would not be able to outrun or outwit you to avoid getting one good smack to begin a slugathon.

  • I have noticed this. Barfing on objects and all will net deviousness points, but the climb, to me, is rather low. I can get a perfect 4K with her and my Hag, but the Hag always comes out on top in terms of BP gain.

Maybe I am just not paying attention correctly, who knows.

  • Slow. If the clown is slow, who to you is fast?

I play plague and hag. Due to the hags height and steps it takes to move forward, it looks like she is running like a lightning bolt. We all know that this is obviously not the case as she sits at 110%.

When I am playing the plague, I feel like I am crawling. She also towers over survivors, now being the tallest killer in the game with her hat on (a title formerly taken by Myers). It feels terribly slow... but she is at 115%, which is faster than the Hag.

What you perceive and feel is not always true. The clown is just an absolute mammoth of a person, but in reality he’s right up there with speed.

  • Rank 1. That’s your issue there. Been an ongoing problem for awhile now

  • He’s honestly not OP. He’s just a complete snooze fest.

  • Perhaps she is saying STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM...

    Oh, wrong game.

  • The Entity’s control is honestly irrelevant. The killers are not going anywhere unless it chooses to release them.

Besides, people tend to miss the part where each new sacrifice brings more power to the Entity. Just because it has lost control does not mean it will not regain it.

  • In truth, there is nothing the entity cannot do in its realm. It is its sandbox and it is free to create, alter, and design things the way it sees fit.

Each change seems to have a purpose behind it. Large killers for fear, small killers for surprise and stealth.

So yeah, it probably has altered heights, though Myers in the reboots is REALLY big anyway.

  • Then the survivors are idiots. Plain and simple.

  • @White_Owl said:

I think at a certain point they should not stop (because DLCs keep players engaged) but at least slow down a bit and work more on the core of the game, since new killers suck a lot of resources.

This is a very true statement. This game has bugs abound, a ranking system that nobody really cares about, a bad match making system, graphical glitches, bugged lobbies, and the list goes on and on.

If they took some time to iron out some of these flaws, I feel the experience would be better for everybody involved.

  • If you put a good person on a wraith and a good person on the nurse against a competent survivor group, I can almost guarantee different results.

Not discounting your comment, as yes skill truly does matter, but some killers just have a greater advantage and ability to counter survivor antics.

  • Addon reliance is not a good thing. These are used to spice up gameplay and enhance your abilities, not define you as a hag main.

If you are aware of space coconut, then many of his trap tactics are very valid. Continue practicing these locations and the effects that come with them.

Hag is not a chaser. You do not need perks to help you with a chase. Your design is to foil loop attempts and punish those who try to abuse them. Your success wholly depends on the traps you make and the mind games that you play.

Basically, this all boils down to practice and you learning. Timing strikes and patience to beat 360s will not come at the advice of others, but through a great deal of practice.

  • Why don’t we have lighting just strike and kill all the survivors when the totem activates?

Seriously though, noed is fine. I don’t use it, but it is easy to counter provides survivors do what they “should” be doing.

If they spend half the match tea bagging and clicky clicky, then it’s their own fault they fell to it.
