Disagree.
Stranger things was cool because it was unexpected. Featured two survivors and the first non-humaniod killer.
Everyone is waiting for 13. It'll be cool to see how he would look like in the game but there's not much to be surprised about
I agree and the new map will just be another reskinned forest while Hawkins was unique.

I don't like chases, I'm pretty meh at looping so i try to stay out of view as long as possible.
-
Damm, i wish we had a full bot mode, i want to play killer so much but I'm not into being bullied.

Guys we should be celebrating. Hawkins is no more!
I like Hawkins :(
-
Twins, Spirit, Bubba, Doctor, Hillbilly, Oni and Legion.
-
Meh, the three og maps are bottom tier for me.
-
Dwight, Claudette an Quentin having a quiet talk in a corner.
Kate and jeff making music together
Jane, Ace, Tapp, Ash and Adam in the " adult corner", Yun-jin is also older but i dont see her getting along with them, maybe only with Jane.
Leon, Jill, Bill, Cheryl and Ash sharing their killing monster experiences.
Cheryl having a father-daughter relationship with Felix.
Mikaela, Cheryl and Zarina being besties.

I only read "I want things for free, if they are not, remove them".

Technically speaking, none of the killers with Hexes who aren't Hag should be able to do it either, so it's probably just a gameplay versus lore thing.
One acceptable answer is that Mikaela teaches the other survivors how, though, and since the new guy seems like he's very smart and able to understand how things work easily, it's not a far leap of logic that he figured out how to make a new one himself.
I like this idea quite a lot, maybe most wouldn't understand how she do it and he would try to go by logic and ended up creating a different one instead of one of hers.

That's the best bit about multiverse ideas: whether it's a mistake or not, because we don't know how fauna is on other Earths then even mistakes or errors still works in lore.
I think a better explanation would be that the crows are attached to the entity, using multiverse to explain everything oversight is kinda lame
-
I hope not, these maps are too ugly

Jeff + Kate
Non romantic ships count? I don't ship any of these character romantically, most for me are platonic :(

I think this is part of the reason it's a bad idea to write overly detailed backstories for characters in this game. I hate when movies and stories explain everything. I love the mystery of the unknown. I love when things are left up to interpretation. Horror especially is a genre where filling in the blanks with your own fears is super effective.
Some people may prefer to debate whether a character was a villain or a victim, and that was sometimes possible with the old short lore, but ever since Huntress the length of the text just grew and grew. I'm honestly surprised so many people read the lore. I find it tedious. But I think my opinion is often not the popular opinion, so... eh.
Anyway, more on topic, I know most sadistic killers are male, but there have been a few sadistic female killers. Where's our Elizabeth Bathory? It seems way past time. I don't really care that the writers fall back on tragedy and torture as an easy way to engage the readers, it's a pretty standard horror trope, but I would like to see a Bathory-esque killer. Give her some spider traits (black widow, not tarantula) and boom! Winner.
I agree to an extent, I don't mind the character bios being long my problem is with the archives, they are giving too much information about anything in general, I preferred when the old lore focused only on the characters and what happened inside the entity.

Not a fan of outdoor maps, i wanted another indoor map since Hawkins is leaving :(

I mean, it's millions of different survivors ontop of the millions of their "versions", so it's both, on an absolutely massive scale. There's the tried and true Survivors/Killers that are more common, and then there's "Fresh meat" that The Entity tries out but may not anchor onto.
Lorewise the Trials that Players play are only a subset of the Trials that are going on. There's millions of other Trails happening with distinct Survivors/Killers that are unknown to the Player in addition to the millions of other "variants" of those Survivors.
Keep in mind this is also attempting to create a lore-friendly reason for there to be 4 Bills in the same lobby.
I think we can agree to disagree, for me it's not an interesting concept but i can see why a lot of people might like it.

I mean, most cosmetics are simply put in for Players to flaunt "fashion" regardless (or to flaunt prestige).
Anyway, how does upping the threat level of the Entity to a multiversal cosmic force cut down on the cosmic horror aspect?
The idead is just not for me, having mutiple versions of the same person for me it's a boring worldbuilding and story progression, i'd rather have millions of different survivors trapped instead thousands of versions of the same person.

So how can a flamethrower fit and not a rocket launcher? Especially the type of flame thrower he is using? People have wanted RE for awhile but if some say a rocket launcher doesn't fit than the entire franchise just doesn't fit. If it does fit then a rocket launcher fits. I mean they were part of RE all the way back in 1996.
A burning mechanic would fit similarly to madness, deep wounds and sickness and also there's been a lot of concepts for killers with a fire related power.
The rocket launcher just sounds like it's way over the top, seeing pallets and survivors burning wouldn't look too out of place compared to a missile going right beside you.

Haddonfield, Swamp (2 maps), and Red Forest (2 maps). They should have been finished with the next patch but for whatever reason for the last 3 patches (RE mid-chapter, Hellraiser chapter, Tiktok Witch mid chapter) they released no realm updates.
If the chapter coming this tuesday on the PTB has no map updates or a new map then something weird is going on with BHVR's map team.
Tiktok witch lmao
-
I just want to se more realms reworked, o would love to see what they can come up with haddonfield.
-
I think just removing a few and changing rarities of other would be fine.
Remove bloodpoints offerings that are below 100% and lower their rarities, remove luck offerings.
Mist offerings don't make that much of a difference so remove the weaker ones and lower the rarity of the stronger ones.
Give both shroud of separation and union for both killers and survivors.

It's not pessimism, though. It's just understanding the tone and aesthetic of the game- not everything should be added even if you could make it work mechanically. Even if it could be cool in theory!
Other games in this genre could make this kind of thing work tonally but DBD just isn't the right fit.
I agree with you, it's doesn't fit the tone of the game at all and nemesis wouldn't look more intimidating with a rocket launcher just straight up silly. It's hard to give him another power without making him busted, the best ideas I've seen were probably throwing survivors or putting parasites into zombies, but if people really want weapons the only one I think would be better to translate it into the game is the flamethrower.

I find that poor worldbuilding with the scale of IP's that they are attempting to access.
Literally just make The Entity a multiversal being on an infinite scale that can try to reach into other Universes. And the Cosmetics simply become permutations of the archetype of a being The Entity has either grown a taste for, or that has imprinted itself into The Entity.
I kinda prefer the way it is, some cosmetics are pretty risiculous so for me it would take away the cosmic horror and turn it into a bloody fashion show.
-
Mcmillam or Autohaven, repetitive gameplay and boring aesthetic.
-
Let him do the spiderman swing whit his tentacles, everyone is saying guns but i think having a rocket launcher would be too goofy.
-
The possibility of getting rpd makes me want to play more ;-;
-
I'll miss the map and the lack of future content, but not that much since the characters will still be ingame.
-
Yun jin
-
Yunjin is the best one for sure
-
Miss the blight theme, but it wasn't a bad event

I mean, i'd rather if they removed all faces instead of just removing claudette's

It takes longer to bless a hex than to destroy it, that was a change put through from PTB to live. So if a survivor is blessing your hex, congrats, he wasted 14 extra seconds.

Not really, they would still be strong.

As Leon main I love my yuis, they are S tier team players vs some survivors I plain refuse to match up with do to constant experience I have with them.
Now that you mentioned Yui players are generally pretty good

Nea is looking too good on that skin :(

I prefer the free shards they gave last year tbh. On that event they made some full sets cost 9000 so you could buy an entire one just with these shards, or even a full character if you want. I don't like playing Doctor neither Mikaela, and the BP gain is so insignificant that it's just better to use a BPS or a Pudding/Cake instead.
Ah, I also almost forgot about the pumpkins. You know how good they are just for the fact I barely remembered about them.
they could also have lowered the price for the blight skins like last year.
-
The rift, skins and pumpkin kicking are pretty great, what is lacking for me is more bloodpoints and the atmosphere.
The atmosphere in the lobby is good and in trials is pretty lame, aside from the pumpkin there's nothing indicating that an event is going on.

This is kind of hard to believe in my opinion and the idea that you can meet yourself from different timelines in a pace out of the timeline is kinda mindblowing. I always imagined the interesting meeting that could happen here: Dwight commenting himself on his stupid costum, Heather meeting Alessa, Ace playing against himself...
Damn if that was all only fanfiction material...
The archives can also back that up a little, there's an entry from the observer's lore a while back that mentioned some memories that belong to another claudette, he seemed surprised when he seen it and said he would look more into it. If the observer can easily search in the fog for memories and seemed taken aback by that it might means it never happened before or it's a pretty rare occurrence.
Edit: and also for outfits, I think the only canon ones might be the blight skins.

@Gwinty said:
I also think that Blight only zoomed in on Pyramide Head and Nemesis and then injected them with the serum. Same for most other killers as I do not believe he would go thorugh the trouble of catching and capturing them more then absolutly needed.
Nemesis is sure an interesting upgrade with that serum and Pyramide Head probably does not care much about it. However it fits quit well in Pyramide Heads theme of self-harm and guilty when you read through Blights law. Pyramide Head would hunt Blight I think...
That said I think those skins are "kind of canon" because the entities realm is a weired place after all. It can capture many versions of the same Killer or survivor and add them to its collection as we see with Heather and her skins, Ace different versions and so on.
To think that an eldrich being like the entity is limited to a single timeline would be kinda outrageous. Xp
In a past stream when asked about mutiple survivors exitsting the devs answered that there's only one version of each person at a time in the realm.

In my opinion the only two maps that don't have to be reduced are Coal Tower and Dead Dawg Saloon aside indoor maps which are "special" without considering RPD.
And maps shaped like "I" like Azarov's resting place and Suffocation pit should be reworked because the only way to win in them as a low mobility killer is taking one side for a 3 Gen unless you're facing potatos and it's boring "3 gening" that maps everytime you spawn in them.
I play both killer ar survivor and hate these two maps with such a passion.
-
Imo cheryl has one of the best screams ingame.
-
The realm is more like a dimesion rather than an afterlife.
I think they are still afraid, but since they got used to dying so much their fear now is pain rather than death.
( I'm not couting with the memory wipe thing, it contradicts a lot with old lore so i don't acknowledge it)

honestly this is the one and only cosmetic i will largely question the canon of. I'd be very suprised if some Scottish chemistry nerd managed to sneak up on or subdue a penance demon from a separate dimension.
I think only the first collection were canon, some descriptions of the newer ones were pretty weird.
-
Ghostface, i like playing against stealth killers
Pig, matches agaibst them is usually great when they don't tunnel
Ph, i like the cages and trying to dodge his ranged attacks.
Demo, don't know why
Trapper, it's fun guessing where his traps are.
-
Depends, they got back to current time or the monent they got taken?
-
They probably watch the survivor being sacrificed and the entity takes them back to their areas.
