I know some more changes can be made.

Even if it worked, you have to be the sole survivor which makes it not useful during the match when BBQ is at play.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1271406#Comment_1271406
I still don't think it would be too powerful. You are sacrificing a perk slot for it. I just know 3 charges is gone in no time so I don't bother running it. It needs more or be unlimited before I would use it. It's a cool perk, but too weak for me with only 3 charges.
Having Distortion be an unlimited use perk would be completely unbalanced. Just think of the streamers who are constantly getting sniped.
-
@TheOneTrueTristan said:
I think Distortion has way more utility in the fact that you can figure out if a killer has aura reading perks in the first place so that you can play accordingly. For example, if a stack gets eaten when someone gets hooked far away, you now know the killer has BBQ without becoming a victim to it. Now you can try and preserve stacks for when ya need em by getting in a locker or getting closer or just let it eat a second stack.
I guess you're whispers suggestion would be fine but I feel it would become a slippery slope of determining what should and shouldn't trigger Distortion. Also it would have to be one or the other. No way is a perk getting not only another trigger, but more stacks AND replenishing stacks.
For the stacks, it would be one or the other. Both would be too powerful.

To be fair, exhaustion add-ons for Huntress are bugged and don't even work right now.
I completely forgot about that. I had been bringing Berus Toxin and Flower Babushka for several games. Thanks for reminding me.

@SambaSaw said:
You bring in a mori and exhaustion addon and say that they were bad. A few well placed or maybe lucky placed hatchets and there u go. You would have lost if rank 3 had decent teammates
They were an swf, all running teachables separate from their character.
1. Meg
2. Dwight
3. Nea
4. Claudette
I already mentioned the mori purpose.
Besides, I was able to stop chasing and practice my shots because half the team was dead by three gens.

@ohheyitsbobcat said:
To be fair you are almost devotion 2 so I'd hardly call you a rank 18 killer. Seems more like you just haven't played in a while or only play survivor which can still translate to skill on killer just from general experience.
I actually hadn't played the game for the past two months. I got into survivor and then swapped to killer for the Archives, but also because I've only gone against around 10 Huntress' in the two years I've been playing on console.
-
He's not a bad Huntress at all; he's more of a nephew to The Huntress.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
Actually it does...the highest ranked survivor got the most score.
It would've been a lot lower, but I purposely kept the game going to ensure I got the 4 kills in a game achievement (Blood On Your Face).
-
Ngl, the mask wand weapon are quite poor. The body, however, looks really good.
-
The Legion
-
Huntress:
Iron Maiden
Shadowborn
Whispers
Corrupt Intervention
Different from the basic build, but still extremely effective.
-
It'd be more painful to get hit with a stick twice, impaled on a rusted meat hook, beat on it, pulled off of it, then get hit again and bleed out of my ass for 1 minute until my wooden stake disintegrates, and then have it happen all over again.

well then let it not have a boost at all then
The boost can really come in clutch when it activates. Removing it also completely removes the vault build from the game.

I highly doubt that they would even answer that question
They don't answer most questions...
It's more like a Q/S (Question and Silence)
-
More suspense
Predator buff
Shadowborn buff = Huntress buff
Fog offerings actually making a difference
I'm all for this.
-
The worst thing about Dead Hard is it doesn't work 40% of the time.
Foreign killer? Won't work
Lag? Won't work
Dedicated servers being dedicated servers? Won't work
Cheater? Won't work
Even if it happens to activate, you can still be hit mid-dead hard.
-
On the next Q/A stream, just ask if the killer will have a mask, no mask, or wear make-up.
Mask = Jason
No mask = Candyman
Make-up = Pennywise
And it has to be one of them because it's a "classic license."

Demo - The Demogorgon is decent. I'd put him in the same tier as The Hag. Demo can teleport anywhere if portals are placed, and they can't be destroyed instantly. They also give away a survivor who is close. It's teleport, however, is not instant, as is the Hag's, but you get the undetectable status effect for a couple seconds. The most important part is his successful attack animation though. Essentially Pig ambush, but a teenage girl on steroids.
Oni - Essentially Billy 2.0. He is better in chases, but his power must be charged, making early game a slog. The dropped blood orbs also give him valuable information that The Hillbilly doesn't have. It's more a matter of preference.
Deathslinger - The Deathslinger is incredibly weak compared to his female counterpart, and is therefore less able to score kills, but he is great with NOED if that's your thing. His meh range and stun time from a survivor breaking free really slow him down though, and if you're playing on an indoor map, then you won't have a good time.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Deathslinger. He's just too weak, and on indoor maps with line of slight blockers such as the 40 walls and many drop points such as the boiler thing in the game, he just doesn't have a lot of pressure
The Demogorgon and The Oni are the best of the two, but Demo is more for fun while Oni is more for power. It's more about preference, but if you're going to get The Demogorgon, then I recommend buying the bundle.
-
I would say Zubat and Scott Jund are of the best.
As you can see, everyone here recommends Umbra, and with good reason.
CowsIAm is also a decent Huntress, but he doesn't main her. He is also nowhere near serious if that's what you're looking for; he's more about the laughs.

NGL; if they kept his coughing sounds when the power hit cooldown, it'd be funny as hell.
Not worth how bad the idea is overall, but funny as hell.
I'd love to see Cows play that.

Clown running at mach speed to inflict Deep Wound.

Prove Thyself greatly reduces the coop penalty but doesn't completely remove it, that's why the bar is still red.
Yeah, I've read some of the earlier comments. It's going to take sone getting used to though. I'm so accustomed to the light grey bar that the red will throw me off a bit.
-
Apparently he isn't bad at all. Many players hate playing against them but like playing as them. That means you like them.

Nope, that's the point. That's why @Waffleyumboy confirmed that 3+ survivors turn the progressbar red, also on old PT
I also think that the description clearly states that you should get 15/30/45 percent depending on survivor count, but it was confirmed confirmed in another thread that you only get 15%
The boost should be 15% for every other survivor on a gen.
-
@DelsKibara said:
Pretty sure it's intended. If you're working at a generator with another Survivor, the both of you are given a penalty to your repair effectiveness so instead of 1 charge per tick (a tick being 1 second and a generator takes 80 charges to complete), it becomes 0.85 charges/s with 2 survivors, 0.7 with 3, and 0.55 with all 4. So that is why they show up as Red. Because you are slowed down when repairing the generator together.
Yes, but Prove Thyself is meant to restore the lost .15 charges when on a generator with only one other person, but it seems to only restore .10 charges, leaving each survivor only putting in 0.95 charges.
-
@Huff said:
Just here to say I notice it too. Thought it was just a visual bug or something, but it does seem odd.
It doesn't just look visual. When using it I've noticed that rather than the basic repair speed increase, it seems to have been bumped down to how long it took two survivors to repair a gen without the perk (before the co-op speed nerf).
-
I' not entirely against this, but I think you should have all perks that are unlocked on the character reset back to tier one. This way you would still have the perks, but not be overpowered from level 1.
-
I never bring OP add-ons and a mori into the same game. So many people will do this and use the "having a bad day excuse." If so, then sorry, but don't release your grief on other people.
-
This was a great movie, but I don't think PETA would take too kindly to smashing wooden pallets over the head of a dog.
-
The people just need to fuel their ego.
-
F-tier killer. Kind of no point.
-
Data miners have proven that it is licensed. There is no purchase amount labeled in Iridescent Shards.
-
I had an idea for a perk that would fall in line with Iron Will and Lucky Break. Call it whatever, but it'd be neat to see a perk that would reduce the movement you make while injured. It wouldn't be too useful on male characters, but female characters could definitely benefit from it.
-
Xbox and Playstation could play together, but any other platforms and it would be unbalanced.

No. Get rid of Spirit along with Laurie, I hate DS.
Spirit and DS are hated, but Freddy is just annoying. It doesn't help when most people play scummy with him anyways. I just went against a hard tunneling Freddy...going for the adept achievement.
-
The problem is changing them will lead to backlash no matter what. Survivors will get mad if moris aren't treated properly, and killers will get mad if keys aren't treated properly.
There really isn't a win-win situation when dealing with the two of them.
-
Judging by the pricing for other official DBD merch, the plushie would cost anywhere from 25-40 dollars.
-
Personally, I believe Deliverance is the most broken perk in the game. If you combine it with Decisive Strike and Dead Hard then you've essentially become untouchable.
-
Cloaky boi can just run around a day and tire every other killer out or just stand still.

Honestly no. I know when the killer DC's they become a bot on mobile. (While on mainline the game basically says "WELP, THAT'S IT. MATCH OVER. SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR OFFERINGS. SEE YOU IN THE NEXT LOBBY.")
I assume if all survivors DC the match continues to play out as normal, just with everyone as bots. Now I'm curious what happens if all survivors + the killer DC. If Dwight-Bot fast-enters a locker, but no players are in the game to hear it...does it make a sound?
That might just be a no contest situation.
-
Deep Wounds in itself is a good concept, but the delivery is flawed. It's just so easy to heal, especially with two other survivors.
The most impactful part of it is the screen darkening if your timer gets too low.
-
I would have to say Legion. Fun to play as but grueling to play against.
-
I exit the match because I'm on PS4 and end game chat doesn't exist

If you mean the PC tutorial bots, no. These are semi-intelligent. There is no real notification when someone disconnects on mobile though. They just "Become a bot".
Even if we had survivor husks (Same concept, but no AI. Rather than becoming a bot and doing stuff they simply suddenly go AFK until sacrified) it'd still be better than what we have now on PC/Console because it eliminates "Tactical" disconnects to screw the killer out of achievements/perk procs, or to give hatch.
Do you know what happens if all survivors exit a match.

Even with Jumpscare Myers it's the worst out of the 3 good maps. The top level is so open it's really easy too spot him.
Yes, but it's an indoor map, and most of them don't care. However, they do seem to prefer Hawkins.
-
Survivors:
Claudette
Nea?
Adam
Killers:
Doctor (by new players)
Legion
Spirit
Freddy
Leatherface (kinda of a split between the community)
-
I feel the only change to Deathslinger should be his range, but to give him a slower reel would be terrible on maps with walls like Hawkins and Lery's.
-
I know some people who like this map. They're called Scratched Mirror Micheal mains.
-
You can't just delete a killer, people payed for them. Besides, if you're going to delete a character, then make it Freddy.
-
$1 for every dedicated hit and you'd be a billionaire? Dude. You need to get outside. Breath in that Corona.
