I don't think its a problem. Survivors need to realize its michael and figure out what he is running. If he gets to tier 2 I always assume he has the infinite add on with tombstone. Sadly lots of people have bad game sense and don't care what he is running and just run around like crazy.
If you play more stealthy and don't feed the beast he is very very easy to shut down.
That is just my thoughts tho. I love playing against Michael since you need to figure out what you are facing.
Basically, you get screwed over by Solo Queue teammates a lot more.
I know that add-on is incredibly mediocre and #########, but ######### hell man, the amount of times I got screwed over by it because I was playing solo queue is ridiculous.

They are changing it.
How exactly?

Personally as someone who runs Iron Will 24/7, I like this change. It makes mindgaming the Spirit much more easier.
I'm still not a fan of her personally, but at least I wouldn't feel like I got hit with cheap shots now if I have means to screw her over.
-
Idiot (Male Zombie)
Moron (Female Zombie)
Sometimes I use them interchangibly, and I only call their name when I see they're walking face first into a tree over and over.
-
Makes no difference to me. I never use shards. 🤷♂️
Though I might wait until later if I wanna get the skins. I do play Deathslinger a lot and it looks pretty neat.

Literally no one is forcing you to play. It's not a job, you have no deadlines and you don't get anything from stressing you out about it. Just play when you feel like it.
Hard to feel that way when you just wanna get to the good part of playing the game by bypassing the insane levels of grind the devs put into the game.

I'm feeling burnt out from the game in general. I think I'll play for a bit during mid chapters and then just play more until a new chapter comes out.
The way solo Q is now, and how sweaty people played during the event surely didn't make it better.
Took the words right out of my mouth.
I might take a break from the game in general after this, not just the event.
-
Yay. So I know if I'll need to watch youtube videos in the background.
-
Kindered.
Lets the others know if the Killer is camping and gives you a TON of information for Solo Survivors.

The only perk with no cons for Survivors?
Dead hard?
Unbreakable?
Any Means Necessary?
Borrowed Time?
We're Going To Live Forever?
Spine Chill?
Prove Thyself?
Lightweight?
Alert?
Bite the Bullet?
Bond?
Built to Last?
Do you want me to continue?

"Unpopular Opinion"?
Have you been living under a rock the entire event?

They shouls just give us the damn bots already. They already exist anyway.

Honestly I'm willing to let go of custom icons if it means these ######### gets locked down.
I know not everyone plays the game seriously, but no one loves playing with cheaters
-
Variety for me.
I like to spread my points evenly (except on Survivor, where I put it all on Zarina)
-
No, you shouldn't make it easier to pip. But Killers shouldn't be ######### over with the pipping system either.
I don't like the Pipping system myself, I think the embems system forces both sides to play in a way that can sometimes be detrimental to them. But this isn't how to fix it.
-
@Snowbawlzzz said:
How prevalent do you actually think cheating is on PC?
Just another player looking for something to blame his losses on other than himself
I'd say it's pretty goddamn prevalent.
It's not every game, but you shouldn't see a cheater once every week.
-
There's always a crown on the map. By that I mean there's only ever one crown present on the map. There's never two crown totems that is present at the same time.
If you bring a cake, it should let you know if the crown has moved or not.

I don't use add-ons in my matches because they make me too reliant. Frankly all i see is a bunch of add-on addicts here.
Odd flex but okay
-
Look, I play a lot of Killer more often than Survivor even though I consider myself someone who plays both sides...
But choosing what realms you go to as Killer? Or banning the ones you don't wanna go to?
Please no?
Even though I groan everytime I see ######### Ormond, banning that realm just means banning that entire map altogether. And that's just unhealthy for the game.
-
Oh to us PC players that is 100% problematic as well.
It's just stupidly easy to cheat in this game. And not get banned for it because EAC is complete ######### garbage.
We wish they're doing a better job for it too because unlike you lot, we can't turn off crossplay with these #########.

Apathy is disregarding everyone who's worked through the achievements and throwing ######### to their face telling them now they aren't worth what they used to. You keep going to the same point on how these achievements are bullshit and i AGREE that's exactly why i don't think it's fair to change the requirements. If you don't want to go through that just don't do those achievements, THE WHOLE POINT of achievements is the sense of achievement and being able to show them off to other people.
Worth what they used to be? They still remain the same worth as they are now. It's the same as getting Evil Incarnate before Myers got a lot more perks to work with for endgame and early game. Because FUN FACT, THE DATE AND TIME YOU GOT YOUR ACHIEVEMENT IS ETCHED ONTO YOUR PROFILE FOREVER!
It's completely fair to change the requirements so it's more fair and accessible because even the DEVELOPERS THEMSELVES has admitted they wanted to change the achievements to be more fair but they are not able to due to console parity.
I agree, the whole point of achievements is a sense of achievement.
But I don't agree with just showing it off to everyone like you're somehow better at the game than someone else just because you have those achievements. It's a personal checklist, nothing more.
Your apathy comes from the fact that you don't want other people to have an easier more sensible time enjoying achievement hunting rather than pulling their hair out for one achievement.
-
I had a Kate have the equivalent intelligence of a molerat basically throw the game away against this Wraith we played against because she (who wasn't on any hooks) ACTIVELY REFUSED TO GO INTO A CHASE WITH HIM!
All of us could've escaped if she ONLY GAVE US TIME BY BEING CHASED EVEN A LITTLE BIT!

Do they mod there stuff too?
No, but they're notorious for using stretched res to give them a huge advantage.
-
For as long as the devs allow people to mod their games, in the same vein as Stretched Res, people will abuse it to give themselves unfair advantages.
It sucks but until the devs do something about it we're kinda ######### to hope they go away on their own
(They won't.)

But it's the same for everybody. It's not like you are limited to survivor or killer, I don't think you can use "fair" . I'd understand changing how the new adept killers achivements are gotten, but not the ones that people have already worked to get. Imagine studying hard to finally get your university diploma and the next year the director decides that everyone gets one just for attending class, no serious company would hire you, and in the game nobody would give a ######### about the achievement you have.
If nobody gave a #########, then why are threads like these a constant topic in this forum? You may not, but don't project your apathy to other people.
Again, I reiterate that as someone who did work hard to get all of these achievements. I am part of the example you're putting out. Except it's a game, so realistically it should only matter to the person who plays it.
People play this game and grind for achievements for a sense of satisfaction, that's something everyone does when playing video games. Also, the achievement realistically isn't "hard". It's just BULLSHIT.
Previously, 4 kills counted towards getting an adept completed. It doesn't matter if it were through moris, slugging the survivors until they all die one by one, what mattered was 4 kills. Do you think the people who got it with 4 kills felt they needed to do the achievements again when they are now forced to get it by forcing a Merciless Victory? Getting 4 Iridescent Emblems on a broken system?
That should all it be for an achievement. It's comparable to the Survivor completing their objectives and escaping from the Killer. It's the Killer killing survivors in the most efficient way possible to get a 4k.
But now Killers are expected to juggle every Survivor and make sure they're alive long enough to farm Emblem points off of them. But be careful, if you lose your gens too quickly, you would miss out on Gatekeeper.
Oh you wanna use your instadown power? Sorry honey, your Chaser will suffer now.
Oh a Survivor DCs or suicided on hook? That's going to be rough on your Devout emblem, sweetie.
Ah, a Survivor uses Decisive Strike? one of the most common perks in the game? DARN! Guess you're not getting that Malicious emblem!
Imagine if you had to do all of that as Survivor.
You have to unhook enough teammates to get Iridescent Benevolent.
You have to do enough generators and totems to get Iridescent Lightbringer.
You also have to chase the Killer for long enough for Iridescent Evader.
Not to mention not going down ######### once to get an Iridescent Unbroken.
You can keep telling me how "It's supposed to be hard!" or "You don't have to do it!" but it's a game, and people are allowed to play it however they want. And when something as simple as an achievement is so ######### that the discrepency between the same type of achievement is so obvious, it gets really frustrating.
You may have your apathy, but I wanna play this game in a way that is fun to me. And chasing after achievements are one of those things. I just wish it wasn't bullshit or broken.
-
I want the rainbow perks to come back to be honest.
It's boring seeing Purple all game.
Also ######### Perk Tiers.
-
@vacaman said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2370827#Comment_2370827
But why? Achievements is a thing that has literally 0 value if it's easy to obtain, the whole point is that it's hard to get, it has no other value.
It's not about it being hard.
It's about it being fair
If Survivor adepts are as challenge and bullshit as Killer adepts are, I wouldn't be as annoyed by it. It's just the fact that Killers needs to go through so many hoops with a broken emblem system that makes it bullshit when Survivor just needs to escape.
-
I feel like I could just record myself playing a session of Solo Queue and you can see me getting robbed every game.

Current Ruin is easier for me to deal with than old Ruin, but the effect it has on boosted randoms is about the same. I hate getting pushed off of gens with current Ruin because I just know the randoms aren't gonna notice my gen that's almost done and are gonna let it go down to 0.
Nothing sucks harder than seeing a Gen that was 99 go back to 0 because your teammates won't commit and is scared to go back to that gen even though the KILLER IS CHASING YOU!
-
@kisfenkin said:
Making it give tokens for finishing gens would be more in line with BBQC, but I think it should be combined with Borrowed Time. That's all it needs, both perks in one.
Before the uninformed forum poster points out that 'you have to safe unhook, blah blah blah for WGLF,' They only added that because farm forever was ruining the game. Every solo queue had at least two solo players that would chase after a killer and unhook right in front of the killer for the blood.
BBQC gives the killers an enormous advantage. WGLF should do the same for survivors.
That'd make BT completely redundant as a perk.

As long as Bloodlust exists - yes, safe Pallets are a good design. You need those with Bloodlust, you need Pallets which need to be broken.
Personally, I think there should be no Bloodlust, very few safe Pallets on each Map and a huge number of unsafe Pallets. Unsafe Pallets are playable by Killers, they are fair. The better player wins.
And IMO it would be a better design, because good Survivors will be rewarded. Everyone can play a Longwall-Pallet, but playing unsafe Pallets is more difficult.
I pretty much agree with this.
It rewards Survivors for chaining loops better but gives them little room to feel safe around a certain loop.
-
Why did my friend's dad leave him?
-
Depends.
If it's Shack Pallet, sure. Since while it's one of the safest pallets in the game, there is stilll potential of getting hits from it before it gets dropped.
But stuff like the pallets near Gideon's Basement, or the SEVERAL god pallets in RCPD.... No... Just no. It's just free distance for the survivors.

I am salty I lost to OP items that are SUPPOSED to be rare, yet i see them every game on both sides. Many people agree that a bloodhunt just isn't needed right now.
"MANY PEOPLE"
Dude. No one here agrees with you. Everyone wants this bloodhunt. You're the very odd one out.
And ######### hell, no one thinks these add-ons are rare.
Everyone most likely has over 10 of each other if they play this game for over 1000 hours. Again, a bloodhunt won't change that.
-
All I'm saying is Deathslinger and Huntress probably could shoot anywhere and won't miss.
Trickster would still somehow get bullied though.

The bp economy will never recover from a bloodhunt immediately after an anniversary event. The way i see it, after the bloodhunt is done its gonna be ultra-rare add-on city for weeks.
What game have you been playing?
It's been keys and BNPs and Moris and Fragrant Tufts of Hair in Rank 1 for me.
That has ALWAYS been the case. A Bloodhunt doesn't change that. Because both sides will always bring their best add-ons. You denying this just makes you look like you're just salty you lose to these add-ons and items.

I'd prefer if tokens remained related to altruistic actions, as per the theme of the perk. I'd be fine if it just added dying state pickups as tokens. Maybe heals.
I'd rather say for DEFINITELY since healing a Survivor is part of your objective. And I'd rather make it on par with BBQ in terms of getting stacks.

I agree and disagree.
I hate too that they didnt gave him some kind of sprint ability and especially is epic roar "S T A A R S", I Would love to have him scream that when he starts a chase to make it actually abit scary. These 2 things are very important to me and makes me feel pretty sad that they didnt implement these very simple things into him.
But tbh you can see the "intelegence" of him by kicking and protecting gens or hooking and trying to mindgame in chases etc, these aspects of basic Dbd gameplay makes the Killer look smart which is a good trade off. Giving nemesis a weapon would be abit weird in dbd tbh.
Deathslinger.

Here's my biggest massive pet peeve whenever I play Solo Survivor:
Myers & Infectious + Fragrant Tuft
I'm sorry but... Infinite Tier 3 is just the most bullshit thing to play against as a Survivor. I know the counter to that is "not get stalked" but that's hard to do in Solo Queue when you try your best and your teammates let him have it anyways
-
@vacaman said:
It's the same for everybody. I don't know why complain about achievements. If they were easy they wouldn't really be achievements, that's the whole point. I got almost all killer adepts and it would be incredibly unfair to make them easier when many of us spent so much time trying to get them.
Fun fact:
So did I. I've gotten every achievement in the game. And I'm of the opposite opinion. It shouldn't be this bullshit. Make it easier or at least more fair compared to getting a Survivor adept.

Due to running all patches through Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo for certification one patch a week is prolly the fastest they can do changes, as they have for some time now done all updates across all platforms all at the same time.
If it were only going through Steam there could be multiple patches within a week if necessary, but with the consoles it can take more than a week to get those certifications done.
Trickster's chapter was pushed back a week solely because of such a delay I believe.
Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo continues to be the bane of crossplay.
