Iron Will should have downsides.

Iron Will is the only perk that has no Cons for Survivors. IMO it should have a downside like making Footsteps louder or some crap. Maybe even code it when injured your survivor makes breathing noises like when healthy. Currently it just dead silence on a chase when injured, and loud af chase music hides the footsteps.

  • No, it's fine the way it is

  • It just needs a 30 second timer that resets when you heal.

  • Wdym only perk that has no cons? Survivors have plenty of passive perks that bring no cons.

What's the con to Bond? What's the con to Botany? What's the con to Lightweight? Urban Evasion and Fixated? etc

Iron Will is fine, survivors are allowed to have strong perks too

  • The only perk with no cons for Survivors?

    Dead hard?

    Unbreakable?

    Any Means Necessary?

    Borrowed Time?

    We're Going To Live Forever?

    Spine Chill?

    Prove Thyself?

    Lightweight?

    Alert?

    Bite the Bullet?

    Bond?

    Built to Last?

Do you want me to continue?

  • It just shouldn't remove regular breathing.

  • There are plenty of perks survivors have that don't have downsides to them.

Iron Will could probably be reduced to 75% at T3 since we've been getting conditional perks that also reduce your injured sounds by 100% as well and why would you ever run those over iron will?

It does set a really high bar for other perks when iron will does it for free. I agree should be more like 50-75 percent.

Agreed on that. Currently Iron Will overshadows every of those perks and IW is one of the base character perks..

Unlimited complete silence while injured also just doesn’t make sense, it may not be overpowered but neither are many of the other perks that get balance changes..

  • Another way they could balance it is by adding an activation requirement, kind of like Rookie Spirit.

If it said "Stun or Blind the Killer to activate Iron Will for the remainder of the Trial", that could be interesting. Having a way to choose when you don't have sounds would be fun for messing with the Killer's head.
