  • Yep. regarding the base game is at what, 20$? with all the free maps and at least killers to go against, that's pretty cheap for a game with this amount of content. And you don't even need to be THAT patient. I don't wanna imagine how much effort I would need to put into the game to be able to master all killers. That comes one by one and once you managed to master one or two killers you are ready to buy a new killer with iridiscent shards.

And for survivors, they are really just skins. You don't need to buy 5 survivors just because of the skin (the only thing that baffles me a bit that a new survivor almost costs the same like a new skin)

  • Just ask in chat. Eventually there will people that help ypu if you ask for the challenge. They should just 99 the gens so you can complete them (you know that you just need to complete, not 400% gen progress, right?)

I would bring Prove Thyself and Better Together with Bond and Dark Senses, so they can find you and you can find them. The first two perks will help in finding a team that is willing to help ypu if you have to play solo

I suppose that makes sence but if noone is coming for you, I don't wanna be forced to run kindred considering it's situational. I get left on first hook alot

Quote, yes but that's what Deliverance is made for. That's not what Borrowed Time is made for. And I am actually pretty sure that it will be more abused for toxicity then used for edge cases. Like DS is abused to get the invulnerability mode "I unhook into your face! Grab me and eat the stun, nuff time for me to unhook anyway". People would just jump from the hook into the killer face to make sure BT will not run out before they get hit.

  • @laurelstroodle @Waffleyumboy it is just harder for survivors to take the game hostage, it is more like bug abusing now. At least I know of certain spots where you can land on where the killer cannot hit you anymore.

The mori spamming is actually reportable as during the "mori charge" the bleedout timer stops progressing. So you don't get slugged for x minutes but for like more than 15 if you time it correctly. The game will end anyway but takes massively too long. Mori spamming should be fixed, at least by making the bleedout timer progress while charging the mori.

That's from ingame. And I still have the word "radius" on Focus Lens and Power Bulb addons. You don't see that ingame? How could that be?

No add-on says "Increases Flashlight Beam" only. Thats just text to tell you whatever effect follows after that text affects the flashlight's light. Like "Increases Flashlight Beam's radius".

Radius and width is the same thing. Remember basic Geometry. Flashlights produce a circular light beam. Radius of a circle is the distance between the middle point to the circle's line. Width/Diameter is the line from one side to the opposite side.

High End Saphire Lens: Slightly increases the flashlight beam (second effect)

And about "radius" and "widens", that's what I thought (or hoped). But why not consistent descriptions?

  • @PigNRun said:

    1) Deactivation time of Blood Fury: That small "stun" you get once you lose your power. That animation when you put your kanabo/club on your back and the blade materialises on your hand.

    2) Increases duration of Blood Fury: Your power lasts longer.

    3) Visual brightness: The blind effect the killer gets upon being blinded is brighter (basically useless)

    4) Beam's radius: You can technically blind the Killer easier. When you aim your flashlight, your beam is wider. Like having a bigger cursor on your desktop.

and what means "increases flashlight beam"? And what is the difference between "radius" and "wider" description?

  • does anyone use them?

  • @IceCreamPrincess said:

Depends on the build i go for legion, i would equip it for the knowledge gain. Because you wouldnt be able to chase after the people caught in the range of killer instincts new radius, its more as simple information gathering.

Pair it with cooldown reduction or increased time FF time and it has a place, albeit not particularly powerful. Knowing the pretty much exact position of survivors you aint chasing is useful to an extent for future planning

I find it super difficult to make any more use of the killer instinct than chasing them, because all the gen and totem auras are gone and since you don't have any range information with killer instinct it also doesn't help me after the 4 second stun to relate the info I just got to what I see after the fatigue

  • Most of level 4 challenges I managed to get in one or two matches. The spinechill was a bit lucky, but with key and Spinechill, Lightweight, Empathy and Alert I was able to know where the killer is so still being able to work on gens. For the 4 pallets I just needed a styptic agent. Decided to risk to take the hit, don't throw before the swing starts. Just once I got the stun before I was hit, for the other tries I had healed up after the hook or used the styptic, enough free stuns available.

The one I needed several matches for was the 4 basement sacrifices. Ruined by hatch escapes, DCs or simply gate escapes. I tried 3 different killers in about 12 matches I think. Got it on infiniite Myers then on first try then, but got lucky because the first guy DC'd while on the hook, that still counts.

yeah but... here we get into the definition of tunneling, if you unhook someone in the killers face, its not tunneling if they go after the injured person, of course they are going to and its on the unhooking survivor that this is now happening.

Its up to the unhooking survivor to wait for a better moment to go for it.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/940444#Comment_940444

But you are not buying the team a couple of seconds, infact, you are wasting time, 2 survivors are doing gens or healing or whatever, meanwhile you do nothing but a pointless unhook, if you helped those 2 survivors with healing or the gens you would have bought the team way more time.

it is tunneling if the unhooker offers the replace but the killer ignores him. Tunneling means to get one survivor out of the game as fast as possible. If there is that one doing the unsafe unhook, you could simply hit the unhooker before and after the unhook and take an easy exchange. If you want to tunnel, you go for the unhooked and bring him to death hook, which might need another chase if you don't know about BT is active or not

  • @ZoneDymo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/940409#Comment_940409

Well getting unhooked and immdiately rehooked because it wasnt safe just gives the killer more points for no reason plus you (the unhooker) is wasting time doing that, much better to finish up gens or opening a door.

There is at best as much reason not to unhook as there is to unhook.

If they are going to be dead or stage 2 right after anyway, well then handle that as is best.

I also think Fibi is right there. Like above, the unsafe unhook should reward less, but not 0 BP. 1000BP for a 4 second action is the best reward you can get and therefore abused a lot. But regarding the dying person on the hook, it is always worth trying to get the exchange on the hook. If the killer decides to tunnel it is not the survivors fault.

  • Puppers always requests that the trapper just needs to start with all of his traps and once he is down to 0 he is able to pick up, up to a maximum whatever addons you use. Actually thinking about it, ALL traps might be a bit too strong, because his traps are a bit stronger than hag traps. At least in chases they are kinda insta downs.

So at least maybe make 3 traps from start basekit and further increase with addons, so you don't even have to change the addons. Everything else: I think also he is pretty balanced. Strong power, needs a decent amount of skill to set up properly and has possibilities to be countered.

Just at the moment he is totally depending on Ruin or Corrupt Intervention, and you don't ever play with your maximum amount of traps as some of them are initially placed in regions you never go. And you cannot afford to walk to all of the spots, neither to get all of the traps back once the gen in the area is finished and renders the traps useless.

  • Depends on the rewards as well as on the progress. I will again just buy it if I'm through with Tier 70 or far enough that I notice I got all I want from the rift. But as I finished tier 70 during level 3, I'm pretty confident that I will finish the next one as well

  • I also needed a lot of tries, finally made it with Myers and Tuft of hair on Suffocation Pit. Not the best map, no basement in the middle. But I could defend the gens on the basement side (with Pop) and once Tier 3 is up, the chases were quite short, allowing me to get to the basement each time.

But I also was lucky on that one, because one DC happened after the second down. But that guy was already on the hook, so it counted against the challenge. (For what reason do you DC on a hook? Afraid of kobe?! I'll never get that...)

@Adeloo Gratz to the challenge :) And for future challenges: Don't force it, that just causes frustration. Just do the build/killer from time to time that you feel most comfortable with to achieve it and go for normal games. If you notice, it is possible, go for it, otherwise just play the game.

@joker7997 I wouldn't suggest a slug build XD that raises DC chances ;)

If everything awarded it post game and you didn't reach your max the amount of bloodpoints would be the same right?

It just feels like an unnecessary limitation to me

Could be just a personal opinion cause i always thought the game was too grindy

Nope. If you have 1000 BP with 50% ingame bonus and 100% postgame bonus, it makes 1500 x 100% = 3000 BP. If both is a post game bonus, it is 1000 x 150% = 2500 BP

It would be just the same if you would reach the maximum without ingame bonus. But that is what I said not what ingame bonus is good for, it is for those that struggle with reaching the cap

  • It just doesn't make sense to use it any time you could use it. You need to be healed when you sit on a gen that has no pallets left near, you need to be healed when EGC is active and you need to go for the unhook (unless you don't want to let someone die) as well as it might be needed at the gate, to pull the killer away from the gate so someone else can go for it.

And when your team isn't ready or near to get you healed? The game is stuck. You wait until you find someone, probably getting found by the killer first. Sure it is better to get the team heal up, but if that doesn't happen you are screwed. Seen that more than once, with too altruistic survivors getting downed one by one, coming in for the save not as a team. SWF should never run SC but as solo I wouldn't call out a witch hunt (unless it is not used on every possibility)

  • I think at least the addons that increase the stalk needed (Moris, Infinite) would need to add that cap back again.

  • Offerings add post game as well, and not all players and all playstyles and all killers have it equally easy to max bloodpoints, so I think it is ok to have some ingame speedup to make more use of your post game bonus

  • The reason why I started with watching twitch is Panda and Puppers. Monto was the first DbD content creator I watched on youtube tho, shortly followed by Panda

  • I used to get rid of selfcare as it happens too often that you can't finish healing in critical situations, and if you do you screw the team. But unlimited healing resources are not that bad actually. It is a good perk for people that are not god loopers, same reason why some people cleanse against Plague. Lack of map awareness or simply not that good in chases end the chase super quick and that doesn't help the team either.

And I always wish I had brought selfcare when I meet scratched mirror Myers :P

  • I also don't like the lore very much. It quite confusing because it is written so stuttering sometimes. On the alchemist it somehow fits, as the lore itself is kinda like that. But on MacMillan... would like more insight. And you just get very rough information. I hope there is more detail coming step by step with the new rifts. If this is all to the entity and Alchemist, I would be sad. As Trapper / Claudette seems to be finished with that :(

they stated clear as day; “we want everyone to have the ability to complete the pass, that’s why casual players should be able to complete it by playing an hour a day (70 hours total).

im not a casual player, who has gotten nearly all challenges done in the tome and has had to put in over 200 hours to get to where he is on the rift.

Congratulations on having absolutely nothing useful to say, have a great day you lost this one

How is that nothing useful to say? It is the 500th post and as it is just about cosmetics, noone forces you to play DBD. That's what he said.

And it is about 1 hour pure playtime, the current queue and other stuff you do outside trials makes it about 2 hours per day (I also said that in 10 threads already). I finished level 3 within one week, and another week later I finished tier 70. For level 4 I also needed one week. I play about 4-5 hours a day, so if you calculate that back, it should totally be possible to achieve with 2 hours a day. Not sure what you did to reach 200 hours, I reached tier 70 without level 4 around 140 hours

  • How is that a carry? First you don't care about unhooks and manage to do 1 gen (the first one was a team gen). In the meantime your team manages to do all the unhokos and another gen. Then you have a long chase that us casued by the Pig trying to mindgame safe pallets, while your team does another gen. Then you disturb your team finishing the last gen, causing a down. Really don't get your evaluation. It was a normal game against a medium killer, your team did mostly better than you state

  • sure that's ok. That's why it works like this instead of character bound BP

i guess most of that kill rate must come from yellow ranks were survivors just know to right in a stright line because in red ranks i doubht every killer gets around 3k per game.

well, they said new nurse on PC only and red ranks only is above 60%

If she is so bad that should mean something

I don't say this game is survivor sided. I know devs said the killcount/ratio now is over 50%. that's why I think killers don't need buffs. The problem is how unenjoyable the killer side now. There are so many safe pallets and strong windows, it makes survivors can loop like brain-dead. I feel like it's quite unfair.

I don't get how you can braindead loop most of the maps and still get 60-70% killrate

  • There are several threads on rift progress I'll sum up the result:

You need 60 minutes of pure gameplay per day to get the rift done. Regarding spending bloodpoints, queue times (while you could spend bloodpoints as well) and everything else, it would be more realistic to say 2 hours per day to get everything done. Assumption: within these 2 hours you play at least once survivor and once killer, to get the bonus XP. And that this time is sufficient to get the challenges done.

Thats it. 2 hours a day. If the challenges are not done then, maybe a bit more.

Side note: This is actually the average BHVR said to be played among all players. So it is fair to take this as base. Making it less grind and less or easier challenges would make the above-average players play for some days and then sitting there "when do we get new challenges?" And that not every below-average player gets the whole rift done... it is about cosmetics. So not a neck breaker.

And regarding your challenges. Yes, some are hard, but some are just finished by playing the game. Actually level 4 is even easier than level 3 after the changes. For level 1 and 2 you had less than 1 day per challenge to complete, but they were easy enough to finish multiple per day. For level 3 you had 1 day, level 4 1.5 days per challenge. On level 4 I had several challenges finished within one match, like the 2 grabs (scratched mirror), 4 gen kicks (Surveillance + Pop) kick 8 gens/pallets or 2 matches like escape with Claudette, 25 weapon hits (with Legion) or 5 heal states (Medkit + Botany Knowledge). These give you plenty additional time for the harder ones.

The spinechill escape unhooked challenge? If you wanna be useless, the challenge makes you useless. It is about trying builds, like I gave examples on the above ones. Run it with Sprintburst and Lightweight for example. When Spinechill shows you the killer approaches: vanish. You can still sit on gens and escape. Other idea: run Empathy / Alert, so you see where the killer is and if your gen is safe to work on. It is not an insta success but raises your chances. Just think a bit about your possibilities, the challenges are all doable. And one challenge per day is, on average, definitely possible.

EDIT: I play above average, since the rift came out, I raised from 2 hours per day to 4 hours per day. I needed one week for every level to finish. So 28 days in total instead of 70. With average 'expected' time I would have needed 56 days to finish the challenges (sidenote: I have the 6 traps challenge still open, not tried yet)

  • @RealRuin said:

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this challenge. I'm tier 69 so I don't need to do it, but it's actually affecting my killer games. Some matches are over in 5 minutes because:

A: Coordinated SWF with prove thyself, toolboxes, BNP. 99 each gen so that everyone gets the challenge.

B: 2 gens get done without a person being on them when they pop. said person runs into me and suicides on hook.

BHVR needs to think about what people will do to get these challenges done and what they will do when they have failed a challenge. So many DCs with the spine chill challenge as well.

When I did the four sacrifices in the basement challenge, I just snowballed with huntress and iron grasp + agitation'd them to the basement on their death hook. It was fun and it was a challenge. But other people who aren't as good, who are trying to cheese the challenge as much as possible, Are camping to get the challenge done.

It's the same on normal Dailies. It depends on the players. Grind them or play normal and get them. Wreck the game when you are done or when you failed is simply bad behaviour, which they probably do without any challenges as well.

For the basement challenge I also had to struggle. First tried with wraith just because I wanna clear his addons to do a prestige. Had a bad time getting the challenge but still kept playing to get as many kills possible. Then tried Demogorgon with portals and Make your choice. Way better but also did not finish that properly. Either by second hook death when I didn't manage to bring him to basement or simply didn't manage the 4k etc. Thought about hag or trapper but I dislike them, so first wanted to try Myers wit htuft of hair. Got the suffocation map and thought "great, no basement in the middle" but managed to protect the gens on basement side until I reached tier 3, so they 3gen'd themselves. Success on first Myers try. I spent a lot of time for that one but just tried to find the optimal build, without ruining gameplay. Many people don't do that, even if they had the time.

  • I think I cannot say I mastered any killer in a way of optimal power usage. With every killer I have from destroying matches to underwhelmingly bad matches with some kind of gauss probability. But somehow I managed to have an overall positive performance and most stable results with Myers.

Next behind that is probably GF, Pig and Spirit.

And I want Demo to be on that level next :)

omg, why not reply only if your going to have some sense, i say it feels annoying, and i personally can hit greats on ruin, but for lower ranks they run to find it because they feel annoyed, not because you can't push through it.

Also try not to use emojis if your trying to be serious, it just makes me not care about your opinions even more, i hate emojis if people are trying to be serious because my mother use to use them to guilt trip me, but other than that dont use them if your being serious.

Just two notes ahead: 1) your title says nerf and OP perk, not "just a change, maybe even stronger" 2) Emojis are not unserious, just because of your own personal experience. They actually can replace the lack of emphasis of written text, you can lose a lot of meaning when not hearing a voice. I think it is a bit harsh to prohibit usage just because you dislike it.

To the topic. I really don't think Ruin is "the most OP" perk for killers. Just thinking of Pop. There are up to 8 hooks before the first survivor is out, which makes up to an additional 2 full gens that need to be finished. Ruin is never gonna reach that amount of regression, even if the whole team misses every great skillcheck.

And I also dislike the idea of making that perk super comfy for low ranks. This actually pushes players to train hitting the greats or they will learn about totem spots. If they don't, they will never get better. And if they don't wanna get better, they can still tap the gens.

I'm also not sure if people really hate it because of the progress not being seen. I'd rather assume it is about "I missed the great and get punished and the great is super hard so it will happen again and again" and not about the 2 seconds after that point. Would be an interesting poll to be honest. So while your suggestions would actually make the perk more comfy for your assumption, it could probably be even less comfy if my assumption is closer to the average, because the punishment is even bigger. Did you already do a poll I miss or how did you come to the assumption "The reason why people hate it is..."?

  • Not completely sure about this. God loops is one thing, sure. But The killcount at the moment is totally killer sided. It should be 50% and every killer is above to far above that mark. The loops are the only real thing survivors can use to stay in game. And some of them are even just good if the killer only chases straight ahead, like the disturbed ward. Most pallets are safe, but the windows can be cut for example. If a killer uses the shortcuts I'm almost always catched pretty fast.

If you would buff killers and nerf maps, I'm pretty sure every killer goes above 70% (just a guess). At the moment I have the feeling that I need to find god loopers that can hug walls or have perfect timing to make the maximum rounds on a loop, so that they can stretch a chase decently. Or someone going for the god loop of course. But beside that, normally I need to mess up myself for a long chase.

  • @Aztreonam78 Yep, just finish the gens. Tips to achieve:

Most important: tell in chat. I did that and my brother as well, we did the challenge each in 2 different matches to help out each other and we both needed just one match. In my challenge match I even had another survivor that said "have the same challenge, let's do it together". Ask in chat that they just 99 the gens so you can finish them.

Second: which also might help to make the others willing to help you: Bring Better Together and Prove Thyself. In addition like said above Bond and then whatever you like to survive for 4 gens (exhaustion perk? Spinechill?) So you find everyone early and see if they already work on gens and everyone else finds you working on gens, knowing a Prove Thyself is waiting there, so joining makes sense.

  • And another thing to the rank / skill / matchmaking stuff. 1) The ranks don't reflect skill, 2) matchmaking doesn't work so even if 1) would work, 2) screws it up anyway and 3) I don't know yet but counting up to 2) would look silly. Anyone has a 3)? XD

New rank reset made it easier for bad people to get to red ranks I guess

This is just the first iteration, after 9 days. So I would assume that can't be a factor yet.

I just got the feeling that many survivors just get frustrated more and more for no reason (just regarding on the type of salt after games and the amount of negative posts here in forum) and that's making them act strange like "I just go get the unhook, don't care tunneling, want the points" or "Legion agaahn / Iri heads agaahn / dream pallets agaahn Im just gonna hide until the hatch spawns".

No problem with potatoing around, that happens sometimes so I don't blame around. But when I see people doin bad stuff on purpose, being able to see that seconds before it happens, then I think these ones have been giving up at the loading screen.

  • @AAAAA said:

I mean, there's stuff like this, but on a small scale. Footsteps without a cause on Ironworks, the screaming TVs at Lery's, etc.

How about people crawling out of the suffocation pit and getting pulled back under the earth? :D

And: "on Hawkin's lab with the Golden Toolbox only being visible during EGC" ... What? Did I miss something?

  • @FriendlyGuy said:

She's still one of the best killers in the game, IF you are good with her and use CD addons. Sadly she's even then very unfun, because of the cooldowb bar you need to stare to.

I think the audio cue she has is really the worst audio cue ever. If it would be more noticable it would really help with that one. Having your eyes on the bar every 2-3 seconds is just so blinding

  • The idea of the new rank reset isn't too bad. The problem is the ranking and matchmaking. It would be actually great for queue times if all players are red ranks :P

But you can get to red ranks even if you are not that good. I always reached red ranks and just tried last season to get rank 1 before the change because I never got it since the emblem system. Got it, but I wouldn't really call myself a red rank survivor, compared to what I see as killer and on several streams.

The ranking system is too depending on performance of other players, like getting rewards if the killer loves to eat pallets with Enduring or the lovely non-tunneling killers granting you the safe insta unhook without BT.

And matchmaking just puts you against rainbow survivors anyway. You can't really optimize reset while the other two parts are broken

  • So that's final? I think the con is a neck breaker

  • The dark senses challenge is a bad example as it is just a bit too hard as a challenge. Just lower the requirements, 3 gens on level 3 were fine. Other than that I think there should be a "challenge" if you complete challenges, not just grinding.

The only way I would see for option 3 with alternatives would be to design the challenge hard on purpose (and then just once per level) and give more bloodpoints if you manage to achieve the master part.

Oh. Styptic is ridiculous. You have 8 seconds to get hit. If you use it after stunning the killer you'll get hit after the 8 seconds, if you use it before you have to force yourself to take a hit. I mean I guess it might be somewhat useful for this challenge but it's worthless otherwise. I got the two confused because they both start with S.

As for killers walking through pallets, there are very few you have to walk through. If anything all can be avoided just by slight path alteration only increasing your walking time by like 1 second at most. I only get hit by a pallet 2 or 3 times per game and usually it's different survivors.

Usually they don't go for the challenge. Some survivors tend to drop the pallet quite early, especially when waiting at the pallet. And normally you stand there for half a second, then the drop comes and chase goes on. What you think will happen when after two seconds both haven't moved a bit? I will try it as well later today, write if you have success with it.

For the styptic in this challenge, you of course have to use it while standing in a pallet, so you can take another hit to get the free stun.

  • @VincentRedfield said:

Because per the killer bible thou shalt not loop, use pallets, or be stealthy. Simply run in a straight line so you can be downed quickly.

Unfortunately, it seems people just have a narrow idea about it. They want something "fresh and new." Let the devs take a break already. I'm pretty sure the next event will be Winter event mixed in with archives.

That was already mentioned in the second last stream I think. They did not want do do new events anymore and the currency to buy new cosmetics will be achievable through the rift, not through the event. This is how it will look like in the future.

  • I thought about tagging Peanits just to get a short statement if reviving old events is somehow a possible thing as alternative to creating new ones. But this thread is somehow moving into a direction I would not want to direct officials to. And I from my POV would love to ignore insulting requests like that if I was an official, waiting for a post that is at least a bit respectful

I play around 3 hours a day or more probably. There are some times I take a break or play less/more. I'll finish the rift long before I finish the 4th tome most likely(I am currently at level 60 or 61 on the rift iirc).

As for your suggestions, if I were to take hits at pallets I'd die before I got them, and you do know a styptic takes 16 seconds now right?

The syringe takes 16 seconds, the styptic is the "bottled time" one. And for the second hit you need timing of course, but the swing audio should really help. Treat it like a skillcheck :P

And as I said before, try the hiding at a pallet, once you got that early in the game, you can go for the hits. After that one you still have 3 free stuns at full health (if the killer doesnt find you too early before you could heal up after the unhook) + the styptic, which gives you up to 5 pallet hits plus the 3 possible ones while injured if you time it correctly.

And for the hiding thing, there are normally some pallets on each map, that are common paths a killer may walk through. For example on the pier on swamp there is sometimes a pallet you need to pass to get to the gen behind. On most of the "unsafe" pallets of Hawkins you can hide properly and surprise the killer. Just look out for these and just use them when you get the chance. If you can surprise the killer early in the game, it is a good kickoff for the challenge.

  • @Galklife I still would not do it like "after 2 mins I DC" more like set yourself into struggle mode where you loose blood very rapidly and speed up the countdown, and that being visible to survivors and killer, so anyone needs to react.

Another example why the DC option isn't good: if someone thinks "you are potato, you unhooked me without BT before and the killer tunneled me, I stop wiggling and die rather than give you unhook points". You could do the same with that slugging option at some point. Less common as it needs 2 minutes before it happens, but that "legal DC" option is really a bad approach. It fixes rare situations and opens up bad play. Several situations most people complain about in this game aren't fixed that easily, as most of the mechanics have an intended purpose

tbh now i know i was kinda harsh but amount of time on this forum i was told to "play some killer" or "play some surv" is scary, to the point ppl stopped telling me why my idea is wrong (which most likely is about removing unfun parts of the game, or improving QoL for 1 side) i have over 2400h and around 1400h on surv and 1000h on killers, and someone is telling me over 50th time (by now) to play X role because i dont agree with him xd

well 4k assumption wasnt him but in the begining of thread i wrote about this change for times when killers are 4men slugging or slugging for 4k (because only in those cases surv is slugged for more than 2mins) + you wont slug someone for 2 min if you see someone right after downing 3rd person, you have to out of your way to slug someone for more than 2 mins, and i dont like that kind of slugging

slugging for DS or to not tunnel or because you see other surv is good, but going out of your way to slug is boooring

Ok then fine about the previous posts.

Regarding the "give up". I think it should not just be a DC equivalent, then the DC punishment is worthless. I also dislike self sacrifices for no reason (just because "got found first within 10sec") but to add auto struggle cuts the option to give the last survivor the hatch for example. When all of a sudden someone decides to quit while a survivor is approaching the slugged one some seconds too late, it would again be negative to have that "feature". It takes a bit more of a rework, to avoid stuff like that and not open up for abuses

  • I think their main income might be the cosmetics, although I would like to see the numbers. Sure the DLCs boost it, but for the duration of 3 months I still think cosmetics are quite common. Everytime there are new cosmetics, I see them pretty often in my lobbies.
