I've been dabbling in Coulrophobia Wraith for over a year now but now I can say that it's safe to retire him since Wesker has a larger TR and can be played without addons
Who needs gen regression when YOU are the regression ahahahaha
The build I've settled on is Coulrophobia, Sloppy, Distressing and Unnerving Presence with the Portable Safe addon.
I was uses Nurses Calling for the precise harassment but honestly? The Trapper perk is even funnier to use and it acts as a Wal Mart brand Nurses.
Call of Brine+Overcharge is solid regression for holdingthat 3gen but it lacks the psychological damage that my build offers
Anybody have experience facing this yet? I sure haven't so idk what it's like tbh but I can say is that my survivors are giving up like it's the Attack on Titan chapter all over again
imma tell you this right now, unnerving presence is one of the worst perks in the game even in a big terror radius dedicated build it makes it so easy to hit greats it might as well become a survivor perk.
distressing --> he already has a big tr so it's kinda overkill
sloppy --> might make survivors stop healing all together cuz ain't no one healing through coulrophobia+sloppy but it helps if they're outside the tr i guess.
I'd maybe change the build to starstruck, coulrophobia and two slowdown/aura/hex perks of your choosing but if you like the build you already have then by all means.

damn, I was actually scared they nerfed him somehow but they just made him work the same as every other killer so no biggy.
someday i hope they look back to dredge and give him a more interesting antiloop or buff the antiloop of the remnant itself cuz right now it's too punishing if a survivor holds w cuz dredge gets slowed a lot.

Hello developers and administrators, I took the time to create this account because Patrick said in a live stream that you guys read this, so here I go:
Thank you very, very much for this amazing new chapter! I'm having a frustrating (survivor collision with tbag at the end hurts a little bit) and super amazing time playing as Wesker! It's so fun!!! The voice lines are chef kiss.
I didn't play survivor yet because Wesker is so fricking good!! (And I don't plan going back to survivor anymore hehe)
1) I noticed a huge difference between Wesker power in PTB and Live Servers and I know you guys tweaked to make it better, but why the collision detection on survivors? It was perfect! Plan to return to what it was on PTB or make it more fair? (And thank you so much for the new collision on objects! It's so fun when I bounce and I get a hit on survivors!)
2) I loved both RPD maps, great design but, I just thought when reading about the pallet removal (thanks for removing some of them) more of the super strong pallets were removed from loops! Sometimes it's frustrating when someone just run and drop pallets buying so much time for the other team mates to finish generators far away. Are you guys planning to remove more pallets to make the game less frustrating and clogged on this map?
3) The increase in basekit BT was an amazing tool for solo queues but it's frustrating and infuriating because of the bodyblocks! Are you guys planning to give the player unhooked an option to not have collision?
4) I noticed that Superior Anatomy isn't working with Wesker power when performing a vault action, is this intended?
That's about it, thank you so much for this amazing experience I'm having! You guys did an outstanding job with this chapter / update! ❤️ (Can we get a skin without the overcoat? 😋)
great questions actually, welcome to the forums mr wesker.

unless it's a rework for his power that makes him play differently and not just some tweaks (like ghostface) then he doesn't deserve to be looked at now.
in my opinion myers is pretty boring to play you stand still --> you fill a meter --> you get an instadown, no skill no fun ways to use the power it's too bland even freddy has more versatility than this.
plus going against him isn't the best thing either.
i think they should focus on twins and deathslinger, two very creative and fun powers that are unfortunately nerfed to the ground and now they're left to rot.
thankfully they mentioned looking at twins a while ago but when are they actually gonna address them? idk hopefully this year. but mikey can wait ( a tombstone piece nerf shouldn't wait tho)

Sorry I don't think this OP perk will ever happen. as killer you can slug anybody you want. and it will not be penalized. For example many times survivors group up, to body block, to help eachother so on so as soon as the killer downs someone he goes for the next, as long as there are survivors around. And this would simply make his aura revealed to all as long as the KILLER doesn't run away, or ignores the rest of the team dancing around him and picks the survivor up. Come on. let's be serious.
Same way we can ask for 24 meter aura reading around every gen which was not finished or currently worked on. Basically it would reveal every survivor in 24 meters if they just touch the gen also to stop the regression. It would reveal all survivors around when the killer chases them off the gen also. How silly would that be, right? He would see those who try to come back and resume the repair too. That would make survivors have complete control over the perk also.
So no, I don't think you will be able to use slugged survivors as aura reading beacons, plus it's part of the game, or the devs would make the killer pick up automatically if that would be unsportsman behavior.
As I said. the guessing game is also part of teh game, and not knowing what the killer is doing next is also part of the game. Because by this suggestion you are asking to know exactly what the killer does at all times almost.
the suggestion is fine it's not op as you make it seem to be. why should a killer have a ton of aura perks that can constantly give info on survivors but survivors can barely have anything similar?? i can maybe see the range being reduced to something like 16 mr otherwise it's a balanced perk but still I don't see it being used much it's too situational and kindred is just better.

As a main killer I question myself this everyday
I really avoid to play with the Artist because most of the games I got 4k so easily or people just dc when I down them with crows on the first chase, it doesnt make any sense Artist be a 4.6 tbh comparing that Hag is a 4.4 with similiar power to counter loops, her crows are very opressive if used in the right way to counter windows/pallets
she takes ages to down anyone with her power, first you have to hit a crow then wait for the cooldown then use 2-3 other crows to hit and if you miss you get a lengthy cooldown and if you hit you have to do the process all over again for a down especially when survivors can repel crows by jumping in a locker.
her power is not reliable and forgiving as that of a huntress and it feels like you have to run Festering Carrion and thick tar on her everygame to get a chance. if they somehow make you able to use her crows often with less cooldown i can see her being 4.4 but in her current state she already is hurt by w holding a lot.
-
as a survivor he's one of my favorite killers to go against and as a killer he has a decent antiloop plus a variety of good addons so he's fun to play.
without shock delay addons he kinda struggles a bit and that's the only issue i see with him but in general doc is in a good state and the focus now should be on killers like twins, deathslinger, sadako.
-
i don't like leaving a killer untouched (except the ones i really found not suitable/fun for me) which are only a few thankfully.
i like to experiment with most of them depending on the mood. however i found that I like trickster and nurse the most due to their different playstyle
as much as i hate playing against a nurse and call for her to be nerfed but playing her and not having to go through the normal pallet/window looping cycle feels so good. i constantly can be in chase and not have to deal with broken maps or w holding. it's pretty funny since i thought I'd never touch her after i tried her once and she was too hard for me but she's definitely worth it.

it spawns way too often.. the worst part is you can’t even solve it without the chains stopping you every half a second. It’s so frustrating. 😂
dodge 3 chains and start solving it and you won't get interrupted.
plus the box actually takes a decent time to respawn then 90 seconds to start a chain hunt again (slightly less with addons)
there are 4 survivors constantly moving everywhere on the map why is it so hard that the closest one just solves the box when they're by it? whether he gets use out of his passive or not is in the survivors hands unless it's a hoarder pinhead maybe.

As killer, do you like playing him? Or you don't mind him or can't stand him, etc. And why?
yeeees, very very much. since huntress is not my cup of tea and deathslinger unfortunately being nerfed to the ground he has been quite fun to play for me.
his voice lines, his skins, his laughs and his skill ceiling playing a killer with such personality definitely add more to the fun of playing him.
unfortunately there are some frustrating stuff about him, his knives spread his recoil and slow movement but he'll still be my most favorite killer.

as if a swf would have done any better unless they're comp.

She is overrated and is simply countered by predropping and hold w, power takes too long to recharge (which should change and get a buff) and her nerf made her even more predictable, going against the description of her own bio. spirit is a victim of ######### killer design. she and nurse should not have been a thing in the first place.

Do you know that the mending time is delay time for the legion?
Let's assume a legion frenzy surv A and B and then C, but keep chasing only C.
A and B are going to lose 16 seconds each to mend and be wounded, the survivor C do not care because he is chased.
If you allow to mend in 4 seconds A and B do not lose any time and are back on gen immediately, C still not care.
It is a HUGE nerf. It is like if someone propose pig start with only 1 trap instead of 4 because pig's trap are "boring".
Yes, everything killer does to you may be boring, this is not the whole point. Does anyone like to be catched by the traps of the trapper? Does anyone like to be stormed by crows? Doea enyone like to be in madness tier 3?
you're right my idea might not be the best but something still needs to be done.
i wish for both sides to have fun while playing the game and if a killer design is so bad it gets constant complaints then maybe something is wrong?
i am not saying "nerf legion cuz they're boring" but i feel they can change mending somehow without making legion bad. they might even give them further buffs to compensate.
-
this should be the rework for tombstone piece not judith's.
judith's already has enough downsides and tells for it being in use so you can work around it but the piece is broken.
-
i think the mend timer should be made 4-5 seconds and rework the filthy blade addon to do something else. so they get to keep their slowdown but it isn't as effective and boring.
-
if they gut range and recharge (giving them a new purpose or greatly decreasing their numbers) and make her m2 special then sure.
-
it's pig, she just sucks addons or not so either you still wanna play her and you can get over her weakness or you find a better killer.

No need to fix it's fine and oni could use other buffs as well just watch otz video were he gets no hooks before all gens are done so I think oni should start as 120% movement speed m1 killer. If otz can't get hooks before gens are done it just shows how weak oni truly is and is needing buffs agains't survivors who know the counter play don't let him get hit.
otz is really not that good. he may have very good game knowledge but when it comes to gameplay he struggles with most killers that are not m1 (huntress, nurse, trickster, oni, billy, blight..etc) and every time i watch him play he does the dumbest ######### and loses to an average group of survivors. just yesterday he got dominanted as plauge (his best killer) and got 4 outed when he should have gotten at least a 1k.
anyway am shocked that people are trying to defend a bug on one of the most powerful killers in dbd?? like if you want that many blood orbs you can use the addons that give you more but nah bugs are fine as long as it benefits a killer it seems.

trickster and nurse
they're a break from the usual gameplay loop every other killer does.

they try, it makes sense to not have your whole company alive only because of one game.
but unfortunately they always fail, dbd is their only successful project ( rip deathgarden) and they struggle to properly handle that project.
if dbd dies bhvr dies with it. so they're trying not to let that happen.

Hello everyone, I would like you to help me with this question, I have the game on steam and on ps4, but on ps4 I have much more advanced progress, I would like that what I have on the console could also be on steam, is it possible? because as I mentioned I already have an account created on steam but with fewer things, thanks
unfortunately cross progression does not exist between console and pc right now only steam - stadia - epic games i think
so you'll either have to stick to console or start fresh on pc :( .

it's just a match, the guy didn't want to play a game with a huntress that could hit axes across the map, is that so hard to understand? He has the right to do so, he got a 5 minute ban for that and I'm sure he did something better with his time other than stress about a sweaty killer with buggy hit boxes.
I get why he dc'd and I get how it ruined your match, but when that happens you can always find the huntress, get killed by her and move on to another match that, hopefully, no one dc. No need to let it get to you.
huntress able to get a cross map hatchet = sweaty killer???
maybe he should have saved that dc for a nurse game but doing this against a huntress in the beginning of the game screams skill issue.
I think with how often dcs are now they might very well be increased in the future you people deserve it with how much of babies you are.

There are so many people that exaggerate things on this forums, that if survivors can't find anything to complain about a killer, then that killer is trash.
I literally heard complaints from survivors about every single killer in this game, i don't think that's a reliable way to base a killers' strength on.

Demo is trash tier. People don't complain about Demo because it's hot supreme garbage.
Blight and Nurse are the only killers that can handle really good voice communication SWFs without getting bullied. And people absolutely complained about many other things about Blight besides his addons. We had people complain about Blight stacking slowdown perks. We also had people complain about hug tech before BHVR said they will eventually remove it, and if that ever happens, we'll still have a bunch of complaints about his collision because a lot of survivors truly don't understand that the hits Blight gets from hug tech can often still be gotten using his intended collision mechanics. We also sometimes have people complain they see Blight too much. We also sometimes have people complain about Blight mechanics that were removed from the game a long time ago, because they have no idea how Blight works. And we still have people complain that Blight should get nerfed because solo q survivors think he's "unfun".
demo is b tier his chase is pretty strong but not exactly anti loop (that doesn't make him trash) and his map mobility is decent. people don't complain about demo cuz he's actually a good example of a "balanced" killer
no oppressive anti loop but doesn't fail miserably in chase either. also he's cute and cuddly.
Blight and Nurse are the only killers that can handle really good voice communication SWFs without getting bullied
well you're not facing that kind of swf in 99% of your games but players like to exaggerate the existence and power of the swfs they face, if you're decent at killer you will consistently win with no trouble (especially after this patch) except that 1 in every 100 games where you might get a decent team.
it's a combination of mmr not properly portraying the skill of the players and also most survivors being bad anyway it's not too hard to reach high mmr in dbd.
pretty much the only thing holding killers back rn is map design (except the ones that just suck by design like ghostface/freddy)
We also sometimes have people complain they see Blight too much
well yes, variety is needed which is not common in high mmr unfortunately.

@PapiFelixPSN said:

Her range needs to be removed. That's it.
Nurse gets 2ks at high MMR. She doesn't make it a living hell
nope that's not enough it's a big step tho but all her addons need to have the billy treatment cuz the strongest power in the game should not be made stronger
so no range and no recharge rework these addons to something else even if it were meme addons
make her attacks special like million other people suggested, it's a fair nerf that yes would hurt her build variety but wouldn't hurt her power.
high mmr is easy to get to in this game, neither kills or escapes require much skill or are an indication of it so you'll have goid nurses playing against casuals 99% of their games so nurse easily dominates that mmr.
nurse must and will get addressed, bhvr can't turn a blind eye on this topic forever
what infuriates me the most is the justification to twins's nerf that i mentioned but they just ignore nurse cuz appearntly she isn't a monster at high mmr lol.

I really don't understand why people do this. I don't disagree with the OP that games against her can suck because of your team, but at the end of the day she's a fair killer. You can't nerf a fair killer
she's not a fair killer by any means and yes you can nerf her and no one will feel bad about it except her mains, if they nerfed twins for being "monsters at high mmr" nurse should be nerfed as well cuz she makes that mmr a living hell something even twins can't come close to.
gut her addons, remove her perk synergy force her players to play her with only her basekit then we can talk about her being "fair"

@Coffeecrashing said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3111392#Comment_3111392
That’s an impossible task. Survivors only think a killer is fun and fair, if the killer is so weak that it’s garbage at high MMR.
I get matched against so many survivor bully squads, and if I play anyone besides Blight or Nurse, I’m basically asking to be a punching bag for those bully squads.
i mean, there's huntress, oni, demo, blight (without his bullshit addons) good survivors usually don't complain about those
it's impossible to create a killer everyone likes but those guys i think kinda come close to that.

This week seems too fast for them to get out an update. And since they kill switched Clown today, I don't expect them to release an update this week for balance and then another one later just to fix Clown.
Next week is the earliest, but I don't expect much, if any, balance changes. It will probably just be a hotfix for matchmaking incentives and Clown. If there is any balance changes it will probably just be something small like reverting the Thana buff.
So probably next chapter or next mid-chapter is my guess.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3091529#Comment_3091529
I do agree that the devs take WAY too long to update stuff. However, a week is really not much time to determine what is wrong. They've also mentioned in the past they want to avoid nerfing things too fast, like they did with Freddy when he released (which I'm pretty sure was also 1 week after his release and then everyone agreed it was a mistake).
you are right am just talking about at least short term changes to make solo q matches more tolerable then we can wait and see if any further changes needed but i totally understand that they need time to fully understand the situation and I'll be waiting.

Were you this vocal when killer's were the ones eating it?
yes of course, you'll always find me asking and promoting for healthy changes for both sides i actually love both roles in this game (killer more than survivor ngl).
you'll find me complaining about nurse in one thread and asking for twins and deathslinger buffs in another
i am not asking for killer buffs to be reverted or survivor meta to be back (screw dh and iw)
my complaint is that solo q wasn't properly equipped to handle the new changes and i just don't want it to take ages for obvious problems to be handled for the enjoyment of both sides
obvious problems like how 5 seconds bt is clearly not working properly as an anti tunnel and should be upped to 8 seconds
or thana making matches miserable cuz buffing it was somehow a good decision when gens already take longer forcing survivors to run prove to be able to do gens and how the increased gen times also indirectly buffed camping ( i was hoping for a basekit corrupt instead of making the boring objective for survivors even more boring)
and ds should be back to 5 seconds imo but otr duration should be decreased a lot as well.
also calm spirit, sole survivor, sabo and self care nerfs/buffs weren't done properly tbh.

3 months for people to calm down and either leave, or adapt.
Another 3 months for a new meta to settle and for the devs to see what the numbers look like now.
Seriously, this Chicken Little-ing is completely ridiculous.
NO, devs waiting months and years for stats to tell them what to do is what got dbd to the boring state it was in for years
they absolutely do not need to wait this long for obvious needed changes to be made and you should not be encouraging them to.
they buffed killer but didn't anticipate how solo q would be hurt by this? they talk about solo q buffs then put it on the back burner cuz appearntly a mori rework and other useless changes no one asked for are more important?

You are creating new safe zones for survivors. What if the killer is planning to get a 3 gens and hook 2 survivors in the middle of it ?
With your patch, he has to leave the area instead of protecting gens and hooks he worked for, giving the remaining survivors free unhooks where they don’t even have to take a hit for.
What if the killer is a basement / territorial killer : Hag / Trapper having a basement build. You are forcing them to leave their house unprotected. Not everyone is playing facecamp Booba you know.
What if the killer is a basement / territorial killer : Hag / Trapper having a basement build. You are forcing them to leave their house unprotected.
these killers are already hated by the community for these exact strats and they don't even need it to be viable it just a dick move to get easy kills
both hag and basement have managed to skip balancing to this day.
basement is a boring archaic mechanic that only had a purpose when hooks didn't respawn yet it remained untouched ever since and now only results to encourage camping even more, you should not be rewarded for basement camping/trapping
as for hag she also a relic of old dbd when the devs didn't have "disable killer power in hook proximity" in mind and is considered a boring killer by both sides for her campy uninteractive playstyle
these points do not give a reason on why op's suggestions wouldn't work
trapper and hag do not need basement.

Title.
Without his passive he is a bottom 3 Killer, and a Killer should NOT be carried nor relevant because of something that requires no effort on their behalf.
Huntress has to hit hatchets, Trapper has to plan where he places his traps, Leatherface has to be careful not to hit things with his Chainsaw, Blight has to learn map collisions, etc etc
Pinhead? His power just exists for free, and it is an extremely unfun one at that.
Very poorly designed Killer.
nope, pinhead is actually a very well designed killer
you want every killer to have a decent chase power and map pressure, one without the other is usually not very good and he has both but neither his chase nor map pressure are overpowered in any way
the only problem i see with pinhead are hoarder pinheads that always go for the box holder and spam chain hunts making the game miserable
but other than that pinhead's passive pressure is in the hands of the survivors only ways he make can make use out of it is if survivors let it or if it's a pretty skilled pinhead that can predict box spawns but even in that case he can't always guess it right.

Well, to each their own. I can't win with Dredge. I win most of my games with Sadako.
I'm a Myers main, actually, but Sadako is one of my primary side killers.
Legion is pretty good, too, or was, even before the buff. I don't know if I'll 3-4K 90% of games anymore since Ruin was so central to my Legion builds. Ruin/Undying/Thana/Pentimento was a monster.
Who do you main? Most of the people I see hating on Sadako are addicted to killers with strong antiloop and/or M2 instadowns and can't play with anything else. You probably don't even think that Michael is SS tier.
i play almost every killer except ( huntress, billy, spirit)
but i guess the one i enjoy the most is trickster and I've also been enjoying nurse a lot, because these killers are a break from the usual chase loop every other killer has to do.
michael is also one of my favorites and the one i go to when I want to warm up even tho he's one of the weakest fellas but I don't care for that.
my problem with sadako is how the devs treated that license with such disrespect.
it felt like a rushed chapter just to get a popular license into the game and draw more players but completely ignoring the meta that their game is in and how it affects her she's neither unique in what she does or is she effective in doing it. then the very next chapter has a killer that's her but better and with mecanics +design never before seen in the game which felt like a such slap to the face for the people who enjoyed her.
unless she gets heavily buffed to be able to function in current time dbd she's just another killer that will never see play except by the few people that like her already.

I mean I honestly can't blame them.
Sadako is such a unique killer that really doesn't play like anyone else, and nowadays people just want to pick something up and immediately do well with it.
Its why killers that take a long time to get good results with aren't played nearly as much, Billy, Twins, Hag are others that come to mind atm.
there's absolutely nothing unique about sadako she's the most basic killer in the game even more than trapper. there's not a single thing she does that others don't already do and far better.
you guys really need to stop with these delusional arguments.
and your suggested playstyle would take ages to accomplish anything or it wouldn't even do anything in the first place since survivors don't bother to take the tapes when it's actually better to let her use the tvs lol.
you're dedicating your whole gameplay hoping for her near impossible mori to happen i Don't see how most people would wanna play like that when there a lot of other killers that don't require such effort to have a chance to win.

Not at all. Me and Sadako are doing just fine. She's one of my favorite killers.
I don't get why so many people think she's bad. Maybe it's just that I mostly play Myers, Ghostface, Legion, Pig, and Clown (and Sadako!), but I feel exhilarated when I play her. She can take a 99'd gen back down to zero multiple times every match with the right build, and she can catch survivors off-guard just enough to get hits. I kick some serious ass with Sadako. I tunnel relentlessly with her and pressure gens as hard as I can, and it works well. She'll suffer some from OTR and basekit BT, but I'll also have an extra perk slot to do something about it now that I don't have as much of a reason to run BBQ, and she'll benefit more from the faster chases more than most of the rest of the roster. She'll also get free hits out of Spine Chill getting killed, and Dead Hard will no longer be a threat.
Unpopular opinion time:
I think Dredge, by comparison, feels clunky, and I can't consistently win games with him to save my life. He's like a worse Sadako, not the other way around. He's not undetectable most of the time, his teleportation is extremely slow, no mori ability, no basekit Whispers, fully visible at all times. His antiloop is easily counterable, and his mindgames only work on survivors who don't know how to play against him. His perks suck. His addons are better than Sadako's, but that's it, and at least Sadako's best addons are brown and yellow.
Sadako could use a buff, but so could a lot of killers. Get rid of her lullaby and/or slightly increase condemned buildup. Also, give her some green, blue, and red addons that aren't awful and actually synergize with her power.
I've never seen so much copium in my life.
it's like how legion mains relentlessly tried to tell how pre buff legion was actually not the worst killer in the game, but at least they actually had a point.
however sadako mains are on another level lol.

For other Killers to verify and eventually drop the perk if it is malfunctioning. Since devs don't seem to care as much with reports for cheating or bugs unless they are so obvious and exploited that they get forced to check.
ok it'd still be nice if you reported it and recorded a video that the perk is not working correctly, would actually be more helpful than just saying "nO onE cArEs" there could be bugs that the devs are unaware of.

of all killers you chose to make a post complaining about clown!
WHY? you can go 100 games without even seeing a clown
