I love playing Freddy if I want to toy with SWFs.
Remember Me, Surveillance, Rancor and NOED.
Just have fun, smack that obsession. Slow down and control the game with Surveillance and in the end just lol if they try to open the gates and you just slap them down.
Sadly mostly all survivors are dying before they can power all 5 gens...no Rancor the obsession...no NOED...no Remember Me...but fun no the less! -
I cannot count how often teammates killed a survivor with stupid and greedy unhooks.
If you are not sure, go for the rescue when the killer is chasing someone else.
-
Looks like latency issues. Dedicated servers should fix this.
Just chill and let the devs do a good job.
If this kind of things happen after dedicated servers we need to look into it. -
Moris are strong, they should be for a rare and costly one time offering.
Stealth, map knowledge, good looping-skills, instaheals, BT all are counters to Moris.
Just think of it like a fully optimized tool box. It helps you complete a gen insanely fast and progress inside the game. But a tool box can be reused multiple times, obtained during a match and helps you with more than one or max 4 objectives.
Yes a Mori can end your match after the first hook, but in my eyes, incompetent teammates are the most broken aspect of the game. They can let you die on the first hook! Happens ever so often and each time I just ask myself why?
-
You can bring any items you want.
I would never dodge because someone bring an item.
I would doge if I cleary see they are SWF all geared up, with flashlight all looking same and all with toxic names and I just feel not like playing against this right now.SWF are not the problems, but with some group you just know, this will be no fun and you have to ask yourself, am I maso enough right now to enjoy this?
-
Monstrous Shrine can be reworked, that now all hooks don't get destroyed due to a sacrifice.
It still would be weak but provide some convenience. -
Wait for dedicated servers. They are planned this year.
If they are here and we have a stable connection and the issue is still there, the devs can look into it and fix it.
Right now there is absolutely no point in wasting money, time and staff on a fix that will be obsolete In a few month. Just be patient and have faith in the devs. -
It's truly funny and the camps in survivors are split in half.
One side is acting like their life blood is getting taken away, the others are saying they don't even use DS.
So either DS was so overpower that too many rely on it or it was in an ok state and nobody really uses it.
In both cases a change was necessary.
If it's a core perk in every survivor build it is clearly too strong and needed adjustments.
If it wasn't that strong and barely someone took it, why will it be missed?
Are the survivors really upset or is it just the human mind who entirely dislikes any form of change, be it good or bad. -
I didn't intend to bait!DexyIV said:Yeah but these posts just bait people into complaining, and there's always one up in these forums. Yet people wonder why no one takes posts on this site seriously XD
Some of you even add good suggestion, tips and helpful comment!
I wish you would drop this negative attitude and start helping each other out.
It's a game we are playing and it suppose to be fun!
I often help overwhelmed survivors and killers after the game and give them tips, point out great things they did during the match and encourage not to give up.
I feel truly sorry if you think this is bait or ill intend. -

but that uses all my pwerk slots and I still don’t have all the pwerks I need to counter EVERYTHING!!!!
Well you don't need to counter everything, only what you struggle the most with.
If you struggle with everything you need to play more to understand the gamemechanic better and actively try out and figure out how things work and what especially works for you.Happy gaming in the fog!

I love the new DS!
First hook for preserving momentum: check
Tunneling protection: check
Rancor that DS: check check check check
Interesting new obsession mechanic: check
With this amazing changes not only are the killers allowed to stack up BBQ the survivors get a chance to unhook and the injured unhook gets a tunneling protection.
If you are afraid of being slugged No Mither and Unbreakable are a thing!
It encourages team play and a fairer focus from the killer.
Thank you devs! -
If you are concerned about slugging take unbreakable, no Mither ect.Nickenzie said:
Hello, @not_Queen I have a concern as well as some solutions to these issues!
Slugging to wait out the DS timer:
This can be a problem since the core of the perk is to prevent the consequence of someone's actions. However, slugging removes this concept since you can easily wait out the timer in specific scenarios.
Scenario: Let's assume I went after the unhooked survivor and he took me 30ish seconds to down. Now, all I have to do is wait another 30 seconds or more time to be safe to avoid DS.
Solution: Have the timer pause or slow down while in dying state to prevent slugging and to force the killer to pick the survivor up. Yes, I understand that you do not know what survivor will have DS (since they won't be the obsession until after use) but assuming how survivors will farm someone directly in front of you (especially SWF) should lead to a conclusion that the unhooked survivor has DS.
Merci!
There are existing ingame ways around it, use the tools given by the devs.

If we're talking about a hard time limit, though, I wouldn't want to see that. I could easily play doctor or hag and guard the three closest generators for ~20 minutes or so.
I myself love the Hag and play frequently Doctor to farm points. I have become pretty good at controlling the map, that I can consistently pull of the 3 gen strat, but then the game ends in a stalemate.
The survivors refuse to do the last gen and I would only lose to leave the gens.
In the end the survivors either DC or hide so long until I found one and slug the player only to play hide and seek until he bleeds out. Then the game evolves into a run for the hatch. If the survivor is lucky he get the free escape if I get lucky we have the hatch standoff. Similar to the 3 gens, if I leave now, I risk to lose the game. -
Peasant said:
Toxic squads are a pain when you're new. But eventually, you'll learn that they are usually more bark than bite. These groups tend to be predictable and have easy counters to boot. Let's focus on the flashlights for now.
Flashlights can be used for only the following:
- Flashlight Blinds
- Shoulder Saves
- Burning The Wraith
- Burning The Nurse
- Burning Phantasm (Hag) TrapsKnowing this, let's move onto counters.
The Wraith can only be burned while he is in the spirit world. Just uncloak before charging the flashlight person and you'll be good.
The Nurse can be denied the ability to blink while the flashlight's light is on her. So to counter this she can just start charging blinks early. Alternatively, if the survivors got cocky she can always just lunge at them once they're close enough.
Hag, unfortunately, has no counters other than maybe using a Minty Rag to manually teleport to traps being affected.
So for general flashlight blinds/shoulder saves we have 2 types of counters available, perks, and knowledge.
In the perk area, there are several perks that make using Flashlights harder or riskier.
- Lightborn increases your base resistance to blinds and helps you recover from a successful blind faster.
- Overwhelming Presence makes using flashlights consume 80%/90%/100% more charges than normal when used within your terror radius. (Provided you can regain control before the blind is complete you can move your head to chew through their durability.
- Franklin's Demise lets you just knock a survivor's item out of their hands and also removes 0%/5%/10% of the item's base charges. (If you can get a lucky pallet lunge you can sometimes lock their item under a pallet. When this happens I strongly encourage you to never break that pallet regardless of the consequences just to make these "bullies" realize that they need killers in the game.)So if flashlights seem to be a common thing for you, consider grabbing one of the above perks.
In terms of game knowledge, the key thing to know about flashlight blinds is that in general, they require timing and space to pull off. For example, if you down a survivor next to a wall, or just near a wall in general, try to grab them while facing the wall. By doing this you make it harder for the blinder to get in position to blind you. Additionally, if you suspect that there is a blinder lurking nearby and you have no perks or walls to help, do a quick circle around the downed survivor and see if anyone is nearby. If you do find anyone just give them a smack and usually they run off to heal.
To summarize countering flashlights without perks:
- If a wall is nearby, just face the wall while you pick up the downed survivor, the closer you are to the wall the better.
- If a wall isn't nearby, spend 10-15 seconds quickly patrolling around the downed person making sure that nobody is hiding just around the corner to blind you. That's all I got. Good luck!
I agree with you, that flashlights can be dealt with, without add-ons and perks.
But in your elaborate post you listed alot of reasons to prohibit the use of last second switching.
If you are a player that has trouble with handling flashlights, toolboxes, keys or medikits, you appreciate the info and chose your build accordingly.
If you don't see any flashlights and you decide to switch Franklin's for something different only to be switched in the last second it feels just cheesey and unfair. Not a good start into a match. -
Peanits said:There's a couple pretty big differences between survivors searching the map for a totem and a killer searching the map for a lantern. If a survivor needs to cleanse a totem, only a quarter of the team stops progressing on the main objective (generators). If a killer needs to search for a lantern, the killer needs to divert their entire attention to search for it. They basically need to stop killing just to go look for it. While the survivors need to avoid the killer while finding a totem, killers are free to roam the map. While a killer can protect a totem, survivors cannot, the killer could easily down them if they tried to block it.
With the asymmetrical nature of the game, I don't think 'hex' perks would translate well to 'lantern' perks. Killers do not have time to spare, they are constantly on the clock. Survivors have the luxury of slowing things down and remaining undetected while searching for a totem, but a killer does not. If the killer stops to look for it, that greatly reduces the amount of time they have to do their objective and gives the survivors more time to do generators.
Should not be the clock reversed?
Why is the killer on a clock and not the survivors? This would put more pressure on the survivors, what directly would increase their horror and terror.
By limiting the survivors time you would directly determent how long a match can go until it's over.
All of a sudden it's not just all about genrushing, but also, who is gonna distracting the killer and maybe we need to sacrifice someone for the survival of the team.
It would shift the tone of the game more in a dark and grim environment.
What are your thoughts on this? -
I think the biggest divergence comes from the different values players have.
Some play for the prestige of having rank 1.
Others avoiding ranking up, because a higher rank means longer queue times, limited viable killer-pool and much harder matches.
BP are predominantly the most valuable aspect for beginners and intermediate players, because they want to get the perks and individualize their characters. Veteran player in the contrary are less depended on BP.
And some just play to have fun. Playing a roleplay fantasy. Trying to achieve a personal goal. Trying out wierd perk builds, whatever makes you happy. (Please, just don't troll!)
In my opinion all these ways to play are viable and deserve some form of legitimacy and only because you define your wincondition different then some else's, you still have no rights to dictate others how they should have fun or that someone need to shut up and not voice their spin on a beloved game.
There don't have to be one single perfect and legitimate way to play.
DBD is fortunately a game that can be played and enjoyed on so magnanimous different ways and don't strangle your choices during the match.
I think that the devs and other players would agree with me, when I say, let's create a DBD where all these playstyles and preferences are equally viable and noone has ever be talked down for their preferred way of enjoying the game! -
@thesuicidefox Yet again you miss the point.
I never told you, that I disagree with pipping is the games win condition.
Humans are different and when the majority is playing for other reasons the wincondition can be altered and changed.
Often games changes in ways the devs original never intended, players finding playstyles, exploits in the game mechanic that enhances the gameplay and are expression of skill. If such an exploit is too powerful or game breaking the devs usually interfere.
One of the recent example for this is the Moonwalking Legion. 360° from survivors or voice was also never a thing the devs had planned.
If you work with humans you need to be flexible and need to have the ability to compromise.
If no one is playing for the pip, because pipping is not rewarding but punishing for most of the players then there need to be some adjustments.
If the majority of players play for the kills or for BP and this motivation is the major driving force for their in game decisions you need to alter the game around this.
Again you are so stuck with your thinking of what is the correct way, the correct terms that you miss OPs question.
Why killers slug for the 4k?
Because the majority of the killers have other values than solely pipping.
Because humans are no machines.
Emotions, personal pride and gain are deeply ingrained into the human psychology.
If you truly want to understand why people playing the way they do, you cannot hit everyone with the same hammer!
If everyone is playing for the BP or 4k then the game has to evolve further.
Either by putting a higher emphasis on pips or a shift in winconditions.
I personally don't like slugging, it's unintuitive and boring for the slugged one, yet sometimes necessary.
I am all for it to explore new possibilities how to play the game and how to maximize the fun for everyone.
Change and adaptation is a good and healthy thing and I hope you will learn this one day and stop repeating yourself like a broken record and start to embrace the variety of mankind and new possibilities.
I wish you all the best. -
Once again you don't understand.thesuicidefox said:@Cymer said:
Rank is meaningless, not entirely correct, ranking up is disadvantageous. You get longer queue times, more unfun matchups, less killer variey ect.Because both killer and survivors in your rank are playing for kills/escapes and not the pip. PIP IS THE WIN CONDITION AS DEFINIED BY THE GAME. Any other "win condition" is purely imaginary and of your own accord.
If you are lower rank killer you aren't playing for pips, and therefore you run into survivors that aren't playing for pips. If neither side is playing for pips, then they have to be playing for kills/escapes. If they are playing for kills/escapes the game will be less fun for the other side because they will just use a lot of OP stuff and lame tactics to get what they want. Even though it's not actually a win.
When you get players that play for pips (high ranks) then you see less OP stuff and fewer lame tactics because kills/escapes are not as important. It's actually way more fun, and if more people realized this there would be more players at high ranks and thus shorter queue times. But we have a whole group of killers and survivors that have this almost antiquated perception about what constitutes a win in DBD.
The question was, why killer slug for 4k?
I offered you all my answer and the truth is, not all killers play for the pip. They define their victory different.
You need to learn that it not always matter what is the "correct" win condition.
You need to realize that we are living in a world where everyone has a different perception and define fun and victory for themselves.
If there are killers out there, who are slugging for the 4k because they want the feeling of utter annihilation of their opponent or to maximize their BP, you have no right to tell them how they define their own fun nor tell them how they should play.
If you would write a guide to DBD, how to play the game and "win", then you are absolutely right to advise the reader to focus on pips and just play constantly to climb in rank.
But this was never the question!
Slowly I wonder if you purposely misunderstand or refuse to understand your fellow players and are in to stir a commotion.
Is that the reason you are jailed?
Just try to understand the community to whom your are talking. Understand that their are different approach how to play and enjoy the game and help to create a game that let's as much player play as they like on a way that is fun and enjoyable for everyone.
Please stop discussing about the definitions of terms like wincondition or power role ect.
I know you are smart enough to understand what the others try to say and work with us in a positive and constructive way to create a game, where we all can have fun! -
All I read killers are all in for the 4k!
NOED is a noob perk that rewards bad play!
Totems are too difficult to find or no time to cleanse them, because my teammates are bananas.
If the survivors get all the gens they deserve the exit gates.
How dare a killer camp a hook in the end game! Let us safely unhook and go!
But if we fail as survivors and the hatch spawns let us have the hatch.
No that's not like securing a kill!
Camping is toxic hatch is not!
Just wow to all these double standards!
If you think, the killer should let the last guy get the hatch and not slug for a 4k. Why don't the same survivors let the killer have one NOED hook and just leave the game and move on to the next match?
What is the difference? -
There is an entire thread from AlwaysInAGoodShape where he shows how important a good start is.
How crucial the first hook is and how much DS can cost you the momentum, especially on non obsessions. -
I think he means it only can be used once when you are not exhausted and if you used it, you would get the exhausted condition.SanChello said:Are you saying that it only causes Exhaustion or it is reusable like Sprint Burst?
This would prevent SB or DH into DS into SB or DH ect. -
I think the biggest disparity is coming from a unanimous understanding of a victory.
For some a victory includes a pip, for other it is a 4k and also others just want to maximize their BP.
Letting someone escape is against the 4kers and against the BP-players.
To me BP is more valuable than a pip.
Rank is meaningless, not entirely correct, ranking up is disadvantageous. You get longer queue times, more unfun matchups, less killer variey ect.
A simply BP modifier attached to ranks would be more than enough to motivate player on both sides to rank up. -
No Mither, Unbreakable, Tenacity and Adrenaline.
Survivors have plenty Anti-Slug option but are unwilling to use them
The hatch forces the killer to slug to prevent the hatch to spawn and not risking a standoff.
I personality dislike the hatch, because it feels like a free win.
Slugging in general is too rewarding. If you run a slug build you can save yourself as the killer so much time, that can be used to pressure, hunt and slug the other survivors.
As a survivor I despise slugging. It's uninteractive and unfun. -
I am sorry that you refuse to understand and just repeating yourself.thesuicidefox said:@Cymer said:

Dude what are you on about. Killer IS the power role. 1 individual with large power against 4 individuals with low power, kind of like quantity over quality to a certain sense. The killer IS the power roleNo its not. Power role means you have total control over the game. Killer does not have this. They are merely an opposing force to survivors, NOT the power role. The fact you think killer is power role says everything about why you feel the way you do about mechanics such as hatch. Killer is not "in charge" of the match in contrast to a REAL power role in a game like Sims where you can control literally everything, and are basically God.
Just because the game is asymmetrical does not automatically make one since a power role.

Thank you.You guys don't know what a "power role" is, you just toss out the term willy nilly to describe the killer's role in the game.
POWER ROLE means you have total control over the game. Which is why I point to Sim game because that's a power role. You are GOD in those games.
Killer is not GOD in DBD. They are the opposing force to survivors. If you were to describe their "role" it would be the "aggressor" since they are the ones acting on survivors and survivors ultimately have to react to what the killers are doing, ie. the "defender".
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical game.
4 survivors vs 1 killer.
There is a power disbalance between 1 survivor and 1 killer. In the spirit of the game 1v1 the killer should always win and the survivors have to work together to overcome the greater thread.
Because in theory the killer should overpower a single survivor in a 1v1 scenario he holds the so called power role. -
Roleplay?
I sometimes tunnel the obsession for rp reasons.
You want me to be obsessed with you alright.
I hunt you down. Check for DS if yes I will slug you, play with you, defend my prey until I finally kill you or bleed out/DC. That's what obsession means!
Often combined with BBQ to hook everyone once for the BP and then solely focus on the obsession.
When I am playing like this I don't really care what the others are doing. If I get a 4k. Or if I pip.
I am just there for the rp. -

I feel like people hate it because it rewards poor performance. I'd just make it so that survivors know the killer has noed when the last gen is popped rather when a survivor is hit. It would give extra warning to the survivors. Also that the NOED totem would be revealed in a small radius so you would have to spend 10 hrs finding it.I don't understand that poor performance part. I you pick NOED for a specific late game play-style what is poor performance about it?

The reason why so many are complaining about SWF isn't the SWFs themselves. SWFs are known to often use voice, what can give you an advantage over players without voice.
The devs will not react, because voice is something every player in theory has access to
You could in the pregame chat invite random players into your discord to use voice if you want
To set this up and join is easy and fast done. With the ready button the survivors as well the killer can delay the start of the match until everyone who would like to join voice has done so.
This fact alone is the reason why there will never be an official support for voice, because it is already here and everyone can decide to use it or not.
Another thing that people dislike and associate with SWFs are an increased level of toxicity towards fellow survivors outside the group and towards the killer.
Is it to show off in front of your friends, peer pressure or increased confidence because you know that someone potentially has your back.
Sorry no one wants to get bullied. That's why you also see so many posts about camping and tunneling.
Both tactics can be viable, but more often they are not. If I don't intentionally run a "camping build/basement build" I only "camp" when the survivors are swarming the poor guy on the hook. As with everything in life perception is everything and experience negative situations lingers on longer in our memories than good or neutral ones.
TL DR: no one likes to be bullied, left out or get the feeling of an unfair advantage. -
I don't like the almost mandatory slugging.
-
If NOED is such a big issue why aren't all survivors running detective's hunch?
-
Spooky Myers on Lery's, Monitor and Abuse Hag/Hag traps, Hex: Devour Hope, good Nurse, silent Spirit and Rancor, NOED to a degree are for me the only scary/horror elements left in the game. Especially the red headlight of a killer breaks alot of the immersion for me. I wish I could turn it off and quiet down the music. Silence can be often more frightening.
I hope the next killer would play heavily with horror and perception aspect of the survivors. Like distorted view or some sort of tunnel vision or creeping up darkness during a chase. It would be also cool if with more and more bloodlos your vision would get grey and blurry and sounds get muffled until almost mute. Only the killers heartbeat can be heard. (and lullaby in Hunteress and Freddie's term as well Pigs roar) it would be also cool that only other survivors could heal you. To not be completely in the dark the nearest survivor not in a chase could have a pulsating legion aura in white to find them or some sort of indicator. To invoce feelings like finally reaching a bonefire in dark souls.
There is a lot that could be done to make the game more horror and Les m1 simulator with friends and occasionally parkour and "hanging" around with 'THAT GUY' who is clingy, smelly and unfun. -

You become the obsession. The killer has 5 gens time to kill you. If you survive that long you get almost a guaranteed win. There is a huge risk and huge reward attached and don't rob the momentum of a killer.
I understand your concern.
To me, having a requirement for DS indirectly imply a multiple stacking and activation possibility for the perks. For every safe unhook or cleansed Hex, that would definitely be too much. Just imagine 16 DS in a game at max!
There are some late game playstyles on both sides and by making DS you shift the power towards the end game yes. But it would be a gamble. Will you or your team even reach the end game? Will you survive until the end of all 5 gens? Will you get caught? Does the killer have Rancor? You are taking huge risks and ifs and in that case the reward is justified. -

Interesting idea. I am all for it, because it would open different playstyles and combos. How would you balance around the fact, that you can run up to 10 weak perks vs 4 strong ones?
10 "weak" perks may offer you enormous synergies if combined in that huge amount.
Edit: could you post this next time in wishlist? Is more convenient so the devs can better filter for new ideas. -
I admire all your wish to help, but you are all no part of the dev team.
I don't intend to start a fire with this post.
All I wanted to know, are the thoughs of the dev team on that matter.
I don't want to bait anyone into an anti or pro SWF rant.
I simply wish for an official statement so I can let the entire voice issue rest.
If they are pro voice I can accept that fact or move on to an other game.
Aslong I don't have this official information each time I face a SWF (as killer or survivor it doesn't matter) I have the feeling that they are playing unfair.
I don't like that feeling, all I can do is go and inform myself on the matter.
Fortunately BHVR has this forum and the dev actually read and answer here sometimes.
If this is the wrong approach to get my desired information, then please @not_Queen and @Patricia just delete this thread and inform via pm or email how you prefer to be contacted, what rules I have to consider.
I know in the past I had make some post against the free advantages of a SWF, but this should not matter here.
I truly believe that the devs and the entire BHVR team is doing their best within their possibilities. They created a game that I enjoy, engaged and invested, otherwise I wouldn't be bothered to posting here.
They are doing great work and a big thank you for that!
I think all is said, what needed to be said so please, if you are not a member from the BHVR dev team stay out.
Thank you for your efforts.
Best wishes
Cymer -
@not_Queen could you please clarify if the devs are pro voice or they are against voice, because it is against their initial vision of the game but they can simply not do anything about it/proof it?
-
Killers get more aura perks? Survivors all got free aura-blocking closets! No perkslots needed. Jeff also has an aura blocking perk.
-
I am aware that voice is white listed by the devs. What I want to know from a dev if they actively encourage voice not they can't do anything against it because the lack of proof.
I want a statement from the devs if the encourage voice or if they are against it.

What would you say if you play perfectly outplayed the survivors by protecting the correct gens and pushing the survivors in a strategic beneficial situation and all your work and effort goes down the drain because of a hatch mechanic.
Even from a survivor point of view you can argue, you did everything for your team, bodyblocked, unhooked, genjockey but at the end the other player just lets you die so he can get the hatch and did nothing the entire game.
It's not only on the killer side.

Your suggestions would mirror the effects of other games that features play with friends options. You not only get to have benefits you usually gets some disadvantages to balance your advantages. DBD is so far the only game I know and played that only gives benefits to playing with friends.Zarathos said:So here are the facts a team with voice comms on average will have a larger advantage then a te of randos. Making saves, locating and cleansing totems, maximising gen repair efficiency and relaying killers position mich easier.
Some killer will circumvent these advantages i. e. Billy nurse will reach an area before a team can relay the killers position. Spirit is inivisible as well whilst phasing.
The common weaknesses of swf only exist if the team choses to play into them. Overaltruism is less likely to occur if the team plays smart and plays to win. Distracted by small chat mid game is done if the group is casually playing.
In conclusion the strengths of swf is overwhelmingly superior to normal randos. With this in mind I would advise a reduction in gen repair dependant on the number of queued swf players. Any randos will be unaffected but the % reduction will increase if more then two people are swf. This serves as a debuff that helps offset the advantages of swf.
Swf teams will lose to good killers but whats required to win relys to heavilly on the swf messing up. A killer thrives on chaos. If a team is co ordinated they can recover much faster and kill your momentum with ease. As a result swf should face nerfs limited to those playing it. The goal is not to make swf unplayable but apply consequnces to an otherwise absurdly powerful advantage. -
Just make it a late game perk like Adrenaline or NOED.

I never said the killers deserve a 4k.
What I am saying is: if you as the killer dominate the game. Successfully pull of a 3 gen strat by carefully protecting the right gens, outplay the survivors and bait them to do all the gens far away it feels just unfair when the just can take the hatch.
At this point it doesn't matter if there are 3 or 2 survivors left. They won't touch the gens and just wait over 5 min without doing anything until one of them is the last alive so they can take the hatch.
Why after all these years are there no mechanic in place to prevent such scenarios and force the survivors to play!
A survivor don't have to complete a single gen aslong the entire team manages to get 2 gens. Usually you achieve this after the first chase.
All you have to do from.there is sneak around and avoid the killer until you find the hatch and the circle the hatch and hope the killer gets the other survivors.
Survivors won't attempt to unhook or to pick up slugged teammates they want them to die.
My last 5 games where like this. Is simply not fun to play for anyone!
And there is nothing I can do against it. I am forced to wait it out or let them win.
That's why I wish for a time limit for survivors. -

No, stupid. Adrenaline is the survivors NOED. It doubles the amount of hits u take to get down and NOED halves it. Stop complaining about the hatch. Slug for your 4 man or stop thinking your entitled to a 4 man. Honestly. So you say Adrenaline is survivors NOED, what is DS and hatch? and do you think really that slugging is the solution? No Mither and Unbreakable is a thing.

I just finished a game where I had to search around the last 3 min to find the last person. 3 gens to do. They let one guy just die on the first hook and then just hide. They didn't touched any gens. Thanks to surveillance I am 100% sure about that and after finding one guy and slugged him. I searched the map for 2 min until the poor man bleed out on the floor and the other one just hide to get the hatch. Both only played for the hatch.
This isn't funny. Can't there be a mechanic that punishes the survivors when noone is touching a gen for over 2 min?

As a killer your survival depends on other three guys that might be literally braindead? No.
NOED rewards you if you fail as killer, the hatch compensates for having a bad team.Tell me in which game, when the whole team fails, one players is rewarded for their braindead? CS? TF2? Battlefield or CoD? Something else?
No. Hatch is a free win for one survivor, and completly denies the well-earned 4k for the killer.
With all respect, if you can't finish 5 gens in 2019, where all gens can be easily finished in 3-4 minutes, then you deserve to get on hook.
Killer should be able to close the hatch, and after 1 minute, if the survivor won't complete one gen (which would reopen the hatch), his aura should be permamently revealed to the killer. End of story.
Which would lead to the very situation the devs try to avoid: survivor hiding for ages, since it's too risky to approach any generator, and with the hatch out of the picture, there's nothing else to do. No thank you. If you're so hellbent on getting your 4K, play Freddy, or use Deerstalker.
Simple.
@thesuicidefox : yeah I understand even the possibility of the hatch standoff is a sign of somewhat poor design, but I can't see a way around it (which doesn't mean there isn't one).
However, what do you think about this: the only thing that I find really stupid is the BP reward for a Hatch escape. If anything, braving the remaining 1-2 generators when you're alone should be rewarded, instead of being lucky and stumbling upon the hatch. That extra 2K BP makes no sense at all. I'd very much like to have it removed. That's exactly what happen. The survivor don't even attempt to do gens if there are only 2 left. They are pulling straws to see who dies and who gets the hatc

@AlphaJackson Sarcasm - you need some in your life.

Well if you win as the killer you get to hear: You camper! You tunneling! You use NOED! Ruin XYZ! You are bad!
If you lose as killer as the killer they say: EZ! You are so bad! Worst killer ever! Uninstall!
Just ignores the kids and have fun.
And if you want to try out a build or playstyle that's fun for you, go for it and don't let others tell you how to have fun.
If you want to get better I would recommend you Tyde Tyme or Ardetha to watch, 2 YouTubers with educational content on the game.

All the animations would need to be redone and how would you balance such a thing? Just imagine 8 toolboxes on a gen!
