I did, I also read some of your posts. You claim that "all people here" spend all day on the forums complaning about their sides, yet you do the same, that's hyprocrisy for you.
Then you should work on your reading comprehension. In fact, I made a thread a couple days ago about Vigo's blueprint plus key in SWF.
I'm sure you've got other qualities though.

"not ones people will routinely never swap out" It's not to turn the game into a pay to win, it's to give us more flexiblity in our builds, we are stuck with the same perks as always because there's no better option. They don't change old perks to make them stronger and so, the meta will never change.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1767581#Comment_1767581
I don't want to be the "what about x thing", but do you realise that most perks are designed this way? NOED gives you instadown, Hex: Ruin gives you free regression, Corrupt Intervention blocks gens for free, Decisive Strike free escape from Killer's grasp, Dead Hard free distance, and the list continues... Most perks requires no work yet their effects are great, so I don't see any problem with a perk that can be used only 5 TIMES in one match.
By reading your comments, it looks like you only play survivor? The only thing you complain is about KIller's side, and reaching rank 1 means nothing, anyone can achieve that, thats why we have so many unskilled survivors in red ranks with no game sense that complains about everything, get it? :)
I don't think you read my comments if you say that.
So, read my comments.

23 matches, we don't know rank, we don't know perks, we don't know if alone or SWF.
Also, 23 matches out of 20.000 that are played daily.
Completely useless data.
Meanwhile, on the data that shows 80% death rate : "ThATz d0ezNt MeAnnN AnYThIng... DEVZ SaiD..."

I feel you, and I like your post. Here's a highly suggestive and seductive tight hug to make it also creepy.

Every killer i listed was nerfed or changed in response to whining.
Freddy's addons, post rework, were gutted.. the swing chains/jump ropes
How can you say spirit wasn't nerfed? Prayer beads was deleted and collision was removed.
it's a cooldown plus slower movement, so.. yeah in a chase it has an impact
Not sure how you can ignore Nurse but sure, see what you want to see
Following your logic, you can make permanent Iri head plus Mori Huntress as base, then nerf 1 unrelated addon.
So you could say she was nerfed.
Don't make me laugh. All those killers are next to broken, very especially Freddy and Spirit, and just because they changed a few addons doesn't change the fact they're still broken.

good killers rarely use blood lust unless it is at certain tiles like T L walls, bus, or even some main buildings depending on window rng.
for those tiles bloodlust is very helpful as without it a survivor can loop it until the window gets blocked, if these tiles were not like that yeah i would say get rid of blood lust but because these tiles exist bloodlust should not be removed.
For gens i just wanna say the only problem is early game a natural slowdown like what is suggested in the trial start up idea should be in this game as 2 -3 gens can go off before the killer gets a down.
lastly jesus your post makes you sound the survivor version of these killers.
There's a million ways to go around those loops. If you can't mind game, bring bamboozle. And precisely that : good killers don't use bloodlust.

all of them? lol
Nurse
Spirit
Freddy (addons)
Billy
Blight (addons)
Pyramid Head
Doc was changed in response to whining, backfired for survivors
So you think every single killer got nerfed?
... You might be living in a different reality? Freddy got buffed, not nerfed. Spirit didn't get a single nerf.
Phead got a one second cooldown between attacks. One. One second. One second cooldown. Literally has no impact in anything.
The only one we could argue they made worse is Billy. Full stop.
Stop making up things.

Literally never heard anyone say Ruin or Noed should be basekit in all the time I've played this game.
The devs added entity blockers because they didn't want to actually fix the bad map design.
Most killers agree that Freddy was overbuffed and Spirit takes minimal skill or experience to earn easy wins. Infact I hear a lot of experienced killers call her the worst designed killer in DBD.
Exhaustion has been nerfed enough times. I don't see anyone saying they're unfair. The only one people have gripes with is Dead hard as it can act as a reusable health state.
Then you haven’t been listening.
Do you think the map “reworks” have been good so far? And I’m talking about since 2016.

Lol they do exist. For example haddonfield in a house with a basement if both windows spawn at the back of a house or gas haven once garage gen is done and back wall has a window without a door. Those are infinites vs huntress. Certain long low fences on haddonfield with vaults on each end is an infinite without bloodlust vs most of the killers. Because once 1 vault is blocked you can use the other one until the first one is unblocked
Have you considered using the powers of the killers you’re handling?

Go play the basement Badham/Haddonfield house against a good looper without Bloodlust or an chase power and say that again.
I have. As both the survivor looping and the killer chasing.
Infinites don’t exist anymore.

Not my point. I do well with most of the top/mid tiers, when I'm not against a 3/4 man sweat squad all using Meta perks. My favorite matches are a good solo 4 man team as they feel the most balanced. Freddy and Spirit are the only killers I (somwhat) enjoy to play that can reliablly down fast and pressure the map. I do extremely well with Blight and am decent with Huntress though I find her rather boring.
My point is that for this experiment its obvious that a lot of survivors are going out of their way to troll killer be it with stacking BNPs or bringing stypics every game. Therefore I'm throwing my rules aside and picking up (what I believe) to be the 2 most annoying killers to play against. I've had a lot of toxicity in the endgame chat too.
I would love to play the same game as you then. Literally all my matches I got paired with ranks 16s and 9s and they were all 3 or 4K. In one of them 2 of my teammates got downed instantly even when I flash light saved both of them. Went down instantly again and put out of the game with 3 gens left. I ran around the killer (doctor) for 2 gens and 90% of the third. I was hit on the hook from first state to struggle, then when the Nea opened the gate I let go and she escaped.
Those are my games. We must be playing entirely different ones.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/207795/the-bloodlust-experiment
I'm frutstrated that the devs are telling me not to play the fun but weaker killers in red ranks anymore. I always have played "fair" don't tunnel or go out of my way to kill one survivor straight off. Don't use moris outside of final hook for a rift challenge, etc
With this bloodlust experiment I've started playing Spirit and Freddy again. Even Doctor is now impotent on most loops because it turns out BL1 is what made it worthwhile to slow for the pallet/vault stun. Bad decision devs.
You need to buff the entire killer roster outside of meta killers if you even consider removing BL1
Honestly, if you can only do well with Spirit or Freddy, it’s a you problem.

The pain I’m feeling in this moment can’t be described.

boy, you certainly sound like the voice of reason and levelheadedness by comparison. Truly all but you are zealous fanatics.

"you people" who, exactly? You're projecting a lot for someone yelling about how others need to "Shut up and learn to play."
You people who spend all day on the forums crying about everything that affects “your side”.
I have made threads and posts criticising things for both sides. That’s balance, when you play both and understand both perspectives.
Have you seen the million pages crying and whining because they are testing a miserable mechanic? They’re doing a miserable test and look at the number of posts crying. I have never seen this level of entitlement when they nerfed exhaustion or have persistently nerfed maps on the map reworks. People swallow it up and try to adapt.
I’m a rank 1 in player for both survivor and killer, meaning I invest a lot of time in both, but I have to admit and it’s sad, killers are by far the most entitled and sad-looking side at this point.

nice strawman. If you're actually being serious, this perk was already bad, and they responded by nerfing it. Thats not the same as expecting it to be whatever god-tier effect you are projecting killers demand of it.
But that’s what you people want. It’s so sad to read these forums and not find many reasonable grown up people. You want everything handed to you for free. You think Spirits with Stridors and moris are balanced. You want NOED and Bamboozle as base kits.
It’s gotten ridiculous at this point. Unless it’s a sweaty tryhard SWF team, that needs a separate topic for balance issues, 99% of randoms are guaranteed 4K.

Thats been the responce to every killer nerf ever. But when survivors have to have the same treatment the devs always make workarounds for them. How much "better" are killers supposed to get? Every time they adapt and get better something else gets nerfed in its stead. Oh ruin is too tough? Ok we will rework it for you, oh whats that? Pyramid head is too oppressive? Heres a series of nerfz for him its ok hes still op but we will fix that soon. Oh Billys chainsaw is overpowered? Heres a stupid limiter on it that makes him less fun to play.
That 1 second cooldown must have hit you really hard on Phead. They can almost blink once before they get hit now.
-
Actually most of the matches I get the Pig she 4ks. And at least she gets 2k.
She performs very very well.
-
I completely agree. At this point there are way too many perks for only 4 slots.
-
@MrPenguin said:
I've been playing survivor all day today, its very noticeable. Me and even my rando teammates are running loops or just holding w much longer and kills are way down.
You must be getting extremely lucky then. I got 3k and 4K games only todays. I’m rank 1 and all my randoms were rank 10/16+
-
It depends. If you get hit constantly , run to the corner of the map, and heal every time, you are useless and should be in jail.
But it’s a perk that gives you so much freedom and independence in many situations. Example: having to save someone and everybody else is dead or out of reach. Self care can save you both here.
it depends. Used right is still a good perk.
-
I love how chill and relaxed your matches seem to be people. I must be playing a different game. It’s either la Spirit, a Bubba or a Nurse every game and failing a skill check is the least of my issues.

Let's not mention most of the maps getting reworked to be better for killers, and more dead zones on average on autohaven and Macmillan maps. Do some people even read patch notes lmao.
The dead zones on the reworked maps are a literal nightmare. In the Macmillan estate some spawns have literally no pallets.
-
Anybody who relies on Bloodlust to get kills, there is only one possible answer to you: learn to play the game. It really isn’t that difficult.
-
I mean there's way worse spots than this.
How about, you know, waste 5 seconds instead of 5 minutes and break both pallets with the chainsaw instantly.
-
While I understand your logic and it is well thought, this would create some inconveniences.
- It would really hurt stealth. When you hear the terror radius you have that chance to hide/get away. What would be the chance with faster general speed?
- The chase system is extremely wonky. Very often I lose the chase when looking directly at a survivor when in the middle of it. You would get sped up way more often than current bloodlust.
- It would negate plays like when you have to open the gates. Make it impossible to open one in time.
-
I’m playing killer this weekend.
-
I don't think DS is a balanced perk. Just like many other things killer have that aren't balanced ( I just made a post about the Spirit, she definitely isn't balanced). However, my issue with this is DS is one of the few things that helps RANDOMS (not group of friends) not getting tunneled and have even more miserable experiences.
If you remove DS, SWF will still find other ways to abuse you, and you'll punish randoms even more, and randoms already have 80% death rates and have arguably one of the worst possible experiences you can have in this game.

yeah no did you even see good survivors play against spirit with that bug? they knew her location better than she did theirs.
it made it possible to play safe at pallets and such with no way for the spirit to hit you at most loops.
if that bug stayed it would be just as bad or worse as spirit not hearing any sound.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1762939#Comment_1762939
there are mind games with spirit at pallets, she can hear your location not see you so its a 50/50 even when injured at pallets which is what a mind game is at loops. is the killer faking going this way or will he commit? it's the same with spirit however you have to make a guess without visual info which makes it more of a 50/50 since you can often react to most normal mind games.
I see good survivors play against her. And I'm a good survivor myself. If the killer isn't a potato and has the experience, there's nothing you can do. Especially as I said if she's carrying Stridor. And no, that bug didn't influence the actual chase. It might have influenced the pre-chase, you hear whereabouts she is and you try to remain out of sight, but once the chase starts that made zero difference.
She can hear your location and therefore know exactly where you are. Let's drop the cynicism. An experienced killer with a Headset knows exactly where you are. It's a guaranteed hit.
-
Now that you mentioned some kind of buff for the survivors, it would be interesting if there was a punishing mechanic as such :
If you remain within X meters of the hooked survivor after X seconds, survivors gain a "bloodlust" that make them repair/heal faster. So for example if you just hook camp somebody, after 20 seconds survivors would repair a 20% faster.
This has zero negative effects if you don't camp.
-
What do you mean with "sabotage chests"? What does this achieve?
-
@Axe said:
Just rework her kit already imo. Spirit whole kit relies on sound but removing that would drag her down to maybe C tier or so.
It would make it a true mind game/guessing game. As it stands, there is no possible mind game for anything. As people usually say, "After the first hit, count the seconds. If they go down before you even reach 10, it's a Spirit".
This is not a well designed killer as it negates any input from the other party. You play against yourself pretty much.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
If you do that, you would need to buff her other aspects I think. Like the charge time, movement speed, cooldown etc. It could make for an interesting mechanic that would be down to pure guesswork from both sides but eh...i don't think this is the way to go about it. Her biggest issues are that survivors don't have any info against her, not that Spirit has too much info against the survivors. I'd rather they made a big change to something on the survivor end than the Spirit's, and you give her some tiny adjustments to her numbers to compensate for the survivor "buff". Like she has the phasing sound back like before when it was bugged, but they slightly increased the duration of the phase to compensate for that change. I think that would be better.
I'm open to people's suggestions about ways to rework her, but I don't think that "bug" influenced anything honestly. You could sort of pin point her location... so what? she could still know your exact location at all times. If anything, that helps before she even spots you and you can try to remain unseen. In an actual chase that bug has little meaning.
-
As everyone has already mentioned, if you need Bloodlust to catch survivors, you need to re-think your strategies.
-
None of them would ever escape the entity. If I have to pick one however, Laurie would be a good bet. She’s very resilient. She’s got aura reading abilities plus can basically fight out of the killers grasp.

I’ve played against this a ton in the last few weeks and in my opinion, not a big deal. I got to know where the hatch was too. Most of the time, my worst case scenario is one escapes through hatch.
Here’s a game yesterday. Cannibal against two keys and a killshack hatch offering:
It's actually a huge deal. If you team up with other survivors and already know where the hatch is going to spawn, it can be pretty much a guaranteed escape if you bring one or more keys. It forces you to tryhard and sweat even more. Also keep in mind, you brought an A tier killer. Imagine weaker killers or less experienced killers.
It's unnecessary, and it's unfair.

I think you crossed the line of what is griefing tho so doing so over and over maybe it is bannable @Sonzaishinai
I know sometimes when we are in a group we get entitled. It happens to me as well. When I’m playing with friends we believe we must win. There is no other outcome that feels right. Anything that gets in the way of winning the match is considered death penalty worthy for us. Reportable. Bannable. You and your group get to do whatever you want, but there’s some rules the killer must follow. I know how it goes.
But, sometimes life isn’t what we want it to be, and I’m sorry to burst your bubble: your opinion doesn’t matter to anyone but you and maybe your mom. That killer you played against (including myself, including any other killer) doesn’t give a rats behind about what you consider fair.
I don’t think a SWF squad that makes it their only mission to ruin the killers experience is fair either, and I never complained about that.
