You're making assumptions about people you've never spoken to a day in your life. I think it's stupid that this has been an issue for as long as it has but thinking it has something to do with "survivor bias" and refusing to believe positive change can come from complaining about these issues helps absolutely no one.
And my point is, this has been brought up hundreds of times before on this forum during this games 6 years.
Killers having issues with epilepsy and flashing light macros has never been addressed by the dev team.
Yet, a single post on the ptb feedback about how a player having epiletic issues with sadakos Mori flicking images, the devs immediately address in spades and jump patch that ######### out in a week.
I'm telling you to give up. BHVR doesn't care at all, and they can prove me wrong if they wish.
-
Gens blowing up is good. In high mmr, this is the only way to get failed skill checks to happen, pushing a survivor off a gen.
If the issue is too much for you, there's a perk for it

Can you save the cynic bs for once? Maybe it might have an actual chance of being addressed if you do that.
Cynic? If they actually cared they would have addressed this already. It's been complained about before, and like I said, they're only doing it now specifically with sadako because it also affects survivors.
Behavior wants to let survs clicky clicky because they like bullying
-
Lmao like behavior cares about killer players and epilepsy? They're only adjusting the static from sadako because it also affects survivors 😂😂
-
No but killers should push survs out of the way when moving if they collide. You really think it's reasonable for a Claudette to shove oni or nemesis 5 meters out of the way? Give me a break
-
Skipping the death hook is fine, but you shouldn't be able to skip a Mori. Moris are rare, and vindicative for killers to perform and enjoy their win.
Would you also be fine with killers being able to leave when the exit gate opens? Or is it wrong for the killer to not be forced to watch you tbag at the gates?
In B4 "THE KILLER CAN JUST STARE AT A WALL FOR 4 MINUTES!!! D'x"
-
I have a different but similar idea. All of your hexes spawn on one totem, but that totem relights the same number of hexes you bring.
For example, you bring ruin and devour, one totem lights at the start of the trial with both effects tied to it. Once cleansed, the totem relights on a dull totem 1 time since you brought two hexes.
This would encourage survivors to spend time breaking dull totems every match, reducing generator speed, as well as adding built in protection for your totems.
Booned totems would not relight as a hex.
Edit: i also think cleansing the totem would give a 30 second grace period of the perks deactivated before they relight on the next totem

Spirit propaganda -kinda
-
Dead hard immediately after a pallet vault. Using a tstrike misses the survivor and doesn't even break the pallet. Literally infuriating

Spirit propaganda

Yeah ######### 6 years and not a simple primitive feature like this in privacy settings

Not if it's true.
Shoulda known you'd be in on it too

Play Spirit if you’re struggling. She’s great for getting fast downs.

Can we not bring any of that into dbd please? Some of us use this game to escape that #########
-
Yikes dude. Killer is hard but it's really not that bad
-
Nice, no need for the speed though. A terror radius is fine for a common.
-
Not to burst the narrative here, but it's easy to tell you've reached high MMR.
When youved 4 KD enough times in a row and start seeing stacked survivors that are all aggressively efficient on gens, master loopers, and bringing only the strongest perks, while making the most out of those perks, you're in high mmr.
It's even more apparent because when you start getting destroyed by those teams you get easier survivors.
I know it's so cool to discredit someone's opinion but, maybe reliase that if you personally don't understand what high MMR is, that doesn't mean nobody understands it either.
That's the most narcissistic ######### I've seen on this website.

So you had some jerk survivors. For this you will punish next survivors you faced? Seriously?
Yes. The moral of the story is well over half of all survivors will rub it in your face when they win. So no mercy
-
Yes, let me go easy on survivors who will then proceed to let it get to their pea brain egos and teabag me in the exit gates "gg ez git gud bad killer xD xD"
Unfortunately, survivor behavior has led to no mercy, no matter what 😑

you'd be surprised how many replys I get telling me to stop crying it's funny sometimes.
Because that's crying.

You'd think there wasn't DC penalty at all in this game

i have no doubts you scream a lot
And im sure you're raging on hook while being hit 😂
-
Because it's hysterical
-
Keep iframes, only give the dash forward as a reward for avoiding a hit
-
While not that mechanically complex, he feels super rewarding to master his tstrike, and finding good perk synergizes with keeping zombies on gens is really entertaining too.
It's probably a mix of good chase oppression (-kind of- being able to ignore pallet and window loops) and letting zombies take care of gen pressure with the right build, not that they are always reliable for that.

Stats with zero context.
Killer uses x addon and wins while using x addon more than brand new fresh player without the addon. Killer never ever uses other addons.. must mean x addon op and not the only decent thing available. urgh, me go bam bam with nerf hammer.
Nailed it on the head.
-
There's no pink med kit tool box or flashlight because there are pink addons for those items instead. You have anti hemorage "insta heal", the brand new part, and the odd bulb
-
Take balanced landing, iron will, lucky break, quick and quiet and a good med kit. Take yourself to dead dawg, Ormond, crotus prenn, rpd and silent hill even. All have high enough drop offs that offer an easy way to break chase afterwards.
-
All i want is 360 getting killed or the killers fov gets increased. Either
-
I love playing against my main. If you know nemmys well you can bait their tstrike at pallets and windows, making a killer that people often say is "oppressive in chase" becomes completely mindgamable.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
Yes, please.
Not even because of the reasons you gave but because there's this one particular, infamous EU Pig main that's also a known groomer that seriously has it out for me and has sent his community to harass my socials before because I... use a filter to help colourblindness...
I'd do anything to have a decent game where he doesn't bring the most bullshit add-ons and facecamp/tunnel me w/ a mori at 5 gens for not having functional eyes.
Change your steam name if it's THAT bad
-
All i want are two RE skins for Jill. S.T.A.R.S Jill and Sheva Alomar
-
Some are really not meant to be good on their own, and are meant to be parts of build with good synergy.
I feel like bad perks are meant to inspire you to make creative builds.
For example, power struggle on its own is trash. But combine with tenacity, flip flop, maybe boil over or unbreakable (all but one pretty much trash perks on their own too) and you have a build that can sometimes give you a cool second chance effect.
Truly awful perks with no combo potential usually work their way into getting buffed, you just have to be patient and voice your concerns to the devs.
-
Survivors flashlight spam with malicious intent to hurt your eyes, and taunt you. They know damn well that anyone on the other end could have epilepsy, but they don't care.
-
@Waterfall said:
Good point these killers man blaming everyone else except themselves for losing. Survivors at least lose with a quiet dignity and elegance befitting of the highest breed. Killers these days are the worst gotta say it.
That's sarcasm right? Because no matter how "fair" i play, it's pretty routine for survivors to tell me to off myself
-
In B4 "EVERYONE WILL USE SPRINT BURST AND THAT'S SO MUCH WORSE"
If that were true, everyone would be using sprint burst now, instead of X4 dead hards a trial on average in high mmr.
Don't use that stupid argument as a reason to not nerf dead hard. It's wrong
-
Not a great goal honestly
-
Flashlight squads are entertaining. They typically don't splurge gens are more in favor of aggressive altruistic plays.
They also bring some fun interaction and character into the trial.
That's just me though. I used to hate these players when I was newer. Now I'm better at killer.
-
I'm blind by resident evil fanboy bias but i don't have much trouble on it. One because I have the layout speed run memorized, and two because I typically play nemesis and pyramid head, killers that can deal with god pallets
-
Been stated already but classic nemesis phase 1 or 2.
-
I am playing killer. Just not in the day time. Ques are too long.
-
I'm a hardcore resident evil fan, and i am blessed with being able to navigate rpd with a blindfold.
Having that baked in map knowledge has given me SO many hits from meeting survivors on predicted paths.
I even can take huge advantage of chases as survivor if i have lucky break.
I've been accused of wall hacks a few times on trials with rpd
-
Easy. This game was always meant to simulate your ideal horror experience. I'd play nemesis, versus all 4 resident evil survivors, everyone decked out in meta, i have rpd badge and ink ribbon eruption+oppression+pr+enduring, on rpd. One kick ass showdown with my all time favorite media franchise.

Luckily, with Empathetic Connection, the survivor becomes the boon. The survivor no longer needs to waste time hunting for totems and blessing them. Throw in Botany Knowledge and the Killer doesn't know how everyone is keeping healed.
That's true I suppose, but I still don't think that build could be as efficient as coh, which let's survs heal themselves.
Also, empathetic connection would need more than one perk to be viable
-
Nearly all god windows are gone after first use (breakable walls).
God loops are identical because of the pallet being consumable.
If you're having trouble with survivors tbagging you at safe loops, play a killer with consistent anti loop or stack chase perks.
-
Tunneling and camping are being looked at right now. But it's true, coh gets little to no value if you tunnel survivors one at a time. Not only does no survivor ever benefit from healing speeds (there's never any healing at all) the survs only waste wime setting the boon up.
Why spread pressure if the boon resets that pressure for everyone you're NOT chasing? Oddly enough, the boon thunder has always been my cue to play dirty.
-
So that's what you do? Go around threatening f tier killer players on the end game chat?

When do I whine about Survivors doing something to make me not win?
- I've said that Dead Hard should have TWO activation keys; one for distance, but no immunity, and one for immunity, but no distance. Never said it was OP.
- I've said, many times 'genrush does not exist'. It's just whiny Killers angry Survivors do their goal well. And whenever I use to ther, it's because it's an accepted term, not because I believe in it.
- I've said, MANY times 'Survivors don't win after 5 gens pop' and, conversely, the Killer has not won until he kills every Survivor reamining in the trial.
So sure; go off with 'I'll get you later!' fist-shaking, but it won't happen.
Also; there's no 'constructive criticism' about NoED, because the only complaint about it is Survivors claiming they won 'because 5 gens popped' and then being mad the game does not enforce this stupid rule they invented.
Chill. Sounds like whining and bias to me
-
There's plenty of anti camping and anti tunneling perks. Take fewer meta perks and fill your build with guardian kinship and kindred if you have to
