RPD gets offered up a lot because of that one achievement. No idea why people would willingly try to do that for a meaningless icon and a small increase to a worthless number but there it is.

'Cheevos and challenges are the things I still play this game for... The RPD one can actually be done (unlike the killer Adepts).

  • I use Stake Out with Hyperfocus and Fogwise. It's great when doing gens as it ensures you land great skill checks - seeing the killer is an extra I can only appreciate.

edit: Hunch I find useful when I use totem blessing perks. I need this aura reading ability to ensure I do not waste time running around looking for totems.

  • Looking forward to your next post. 😉

  • I have encountered a cheater only once. He was "flying" and easily avoided the killer in the chase. The Huntress opened the gates and asked us to report. The cheater confirmed having cheated - this was his only sentence in the endgame chat.

  • Around 30K. I'm planning on using them to purchase the new characters of the upcoming chapter.

I’m working on finishing every tome and at least P6ing all survivors

    I only play with friends.

Honestly, tomes are good as they keep me engaged. Initially, I said completing them for survivors would be enough. Then I started doing the killer challenges and realised not all them were as difficult as they sounded. A couple of months ago I managed to complete entire pages and now I have one tome fully completed.

There are challenges I'll never complete (e.g. endgame sacrifices or hooks) as I'm not interested in the corresponding playstyle but I know I'm looking forward to the next and last page of the current tome tomorrow.

And as it was said above: experimenting is great! I started playing with killers I never wanted to. I thought properly hitting survivors with Nurse - and even with Hillbilly - would be impossible. I managed to have 3 or 4K with Twins. I only bought them because I had a lot of shards to spare.

I'll soon have a pause as the game is taking the toll on me.

  • Not really. My MMR will go down anyway. It is already a match failed. But I stay there at the hook and wait for the survivors to approach and do the save. Sometimes they return the favour with free hooks. By playing this way we can truly "gg" each other instead of resorting to toxic behaviour.

Truth be told, you have to stand in the distance otherwise they do not believe you'll let them save the individual. The community just got used to camping.

Isn’t there a breakable door attached to one of those rooms with the decent window? And while ur spawns a weak pallet once that’s gone there’s really nothing else. They could vault back and forth but I’ve still see killers catch people there.

Yes. But they manage to climb slowly so the entity does not block it. Anyways, I hate that part and I'll just leave the chase.

  • @StickySlasher30 said:

I understand your complaints about Gen Speeds, but you as a killer complaining about Midwitch ?

Midwitch is the most killer-sided map in the game. The map has 24 pallets, but only 2 of them are safe and dont have counterplay

I lost on that map only 2 times, and it was because I wasnt seeing very well

Come on what about the vault location in the back upstairs? That's pretty annoying without Bamboozle.

Against a good team you can lose anytime.

As for gen speed: same here, my matches tend to be short. And if somebody makes a mistake the rest of the team are there immediately. If basement is involved less so, of course.

  • This looks great!

  • Being in-sync should be alright as long as there is no bullying. If I see 2 or more flashlights I immediately assign my Lightborn.

4-man SWFs often do their job and the match is finished. Endgame chat is usually blank.

The boring part is when there are 2 friends and as you said there is a likelihood of DC-ing.

I had a match with my Clown against two 100 prestige level survivors. They wanted to do some bullying with the flashlights but I managed to take down both. One simply stopped playing the other DC-ed. It was quite pathetic.

  • @Rickprado said:

I've voted for the debuff, but i think BNP should have their % lowered, or just protect the gens from SOME regression (like 50% less regression applied to that gen over 100 seconds).

Crafting a pallet from nothing would turn some maps into a living hell for most of the killers in the game.

I agree with this. BNPs should receive a percentage modification.

  • Yellow bottles can work great if couple with the Cigar Box.

Yeah I HATE looking at the ground. Thats why I play as The Walking Menace

The pure dread a survivor feels from looking at a full bloody Nurse slowly walking towards them...

They know I could just blink through that window... but blocking it with Bamboozle makes them question themselves more.

    "Is this really happening?"

    "Why isnt she blinking?"

"Oh my god ######### just blink!"

"What a min- wha- is that Bamboozle!?"

Once a Survivor knows theyre up against The Walking Menace, they know 2 things. They can run, and they can hide.

Haha! It was a good read!

I'm awful with Nurse and sometimes I resort to walking / using basic attack. Survivors just stand in one place as they don't get why I do not blink.

115ms,very thin hitbox, short of stature with freddy's lounge.

This should be more than enough to require some nerfs to him.

BUUUUT he also has 2 charges, that can help him vault or simply destroy loops.

His playstyle is just closing in the distance with Huntress and using his power or doing the Pyramid Head ability where they hold the power just enough to force you off a loop or close the distance for M1

And I don't think I've seen people praising Pyramid Head as beign a fun killer...

These 2 playstyles are just Artist playstyle, boring holding M1 or get wrekt by the killer,NOT HEALTHY OR ENGAGING AT ALL!

But there's more, unlike Boretist and BoreHead,he also can push you so off a loop into god knows where to freaking get a guarantee down.

    And there's more!

You can't even pre drop pallets because he's just vaulting over and if you're not away enough,he'll hold his power as pyramid does until he gets a hit.

He's a slept in killer,he's Blight power, but the killers nowdays only know how to camp and tunnel so they won't find his tru3 potential, sad but happened before, though I don't know which killer was considered weak but was actually very strong...

The hitbox issue only appears in case of survivor vaulting but requires good timing on your part, too. This is nothing compared to Huntress's axes.

He is somewhat fatigued after the vaults. Survivors can continue their loop. I am annoyed if you pre-drop as I don't like to use his power for vaulting (in a way it can be considered wasted in certain situations).

I picked him up and enjoyed the first couple of matches. Then MMR skyrocketed and met some tough survivors.

In fact, I can occasionally dodge his dash which can be pretty great if it results in him vaulting. This is a key moment during the chase when you need to realise you can't circle back in but instead continue elsewhere. His dash is awesome BUT! there is a lot of room for error.

That's the problem, something that is entirely RNG Based shouldn't really benefit or be a disadvantage towards killers/survivors

RNG, yes. I can take my best build and be prepared - hell, even an offering. The RNG is just something that can give me a bad result.

  • Rest in piece!

I'm wearing your charm proudly during matches!

  • I understand the mobile version has shared inventory which is pretty great.

  • BP you can get later but depipping is very annoying. Void the requirement for that match. Or, make is easier to get a pip because of a 3-member etc. party.

  • Are you at an iridescent rank? Check post-game where you received most of the negative points of the available 4 categories and that will be a clue.

  • I can see my team mates find it annoying, too, as we keep failing each match.

  • His clothing does not change much I think throughout the movies but the masks were always slightly different.

Yes, just a little more than a week from now.

  • I see.

Well, just had a match with a Pig who started hitting every hooked survivor. When somebody approached he kept doing it and reluctantly engaged in a new chase. When 2 survivors died he was after me - he let me wiggle out of his grasp only to pick me up at the gen. He was trolling the team all along.

On a side note I found out Soul Guard is pretty neat. We were cursed because of Pentimento so I was able to get up 3-4 times during the match.

How is it a bad idea??

A sound to know theyre about to get obliterated will still end up with them being obliterated

Also you can usually tell VERY easily if a Myers is using 1 of these of both add ons

So nothing changes in the end. What is the point then?

Those survivors are always the ones that complain about the killers being too good as well lmao. Guess what they were meant to say was 'stop practicing before you get better'.

I like your way of thinking. 😍

Steam takes really bad screenshots, you actually need to enable a setting where it gives you the most quality as it isn't on by default to save storage space. A meme add-on is something you use to mess around with. It doesn't really help at all and usually hinders your experience. One example is that Trapper add-on where bear traps only injure survivors and, to compensate, you only get extra bloodpoints for running it.

What's a meme add-on for survivors? A flashlight can certainly be very useful.

  • I wouldn't say bad - I would say their value is not always in line with their rarity. Some killers have great common / rare add-ons and terrible ultras.

  • @EEP said:

I made a comment today that I wanted to shake things up a little for survivor's. I'm a survivor main and had really crappy games lately so I decided to play killer today and just goof off. Chase survivor's try to scare them maybe a 1 hit and leave them (just a few bp for me) and just have chill fun rounds. No kills. But a few survivor's (after it was clear I wasn't trying to kill them ) have decided to repeatedly blind me. Seriously there is no need for that no reason at all when I'm being chill. Just relax and have fun guys.

I like the idea and often do that. Take some streamers or surv pudding with me. As long as the match isn't terribly short I can get some nice BP especially when it is late in the evening and there's a guaranteed 100%.

Today's example: I took Nurse with me. I'm generally bad with her. I need that specific add-on to know when she lands. I made a lot of mistakes and had long chases but still managed to do 2K without tunneling or camping (2 survs met the basement).

Then one Claudette who escaped said I was bad and I should stop practicing. This is after I said "gg".

    People will remain people. 💀

  • Why are the icons so strange? Low-res?

    What's a meme add-on?

  • @sulaiman said:

I get some matches latly where the killer seems to cheat, like wallhack, because he knows where survivors are, even though they should not be able to (no perks, person has keept out of side, and stuff).

However, i just get out of the game and into the next, i dont even bother reporting them anymore, because i dont have a video anyway.

Do you still report without evidence, even though you know nothing will happen?

Yes I did that but they requested attachments so it's not really worth it.

Idea: Reintroduce that sound if he's using an iri (Infinite T3 or instakills)

So please introduce the sound when it comes to all killers and their ultra add-ons?

Also when survivors start with BNPs?

This is a very bad idea.

  • As @TragicSolitude says anonymous mode does not hinder you in the reporting process.

And having a video is great as Behaviour tends to ask for attachments in the support ticket. With a proof this can be properly actioned.

There’s been a weird shift in ideology that shorter games are better. There’s also been a consistent narrative that “the chase is the best part” of the game, yet survivors sure do like blitzing gens in as little time as possible. I don’t blame people for being efficient though. It’s on the devs to stop it from happening. Yet the devs seem to be quite happy to normalise 5 minute games so there’s not much hope for that.

I started recording my matches. Anything under 10 minutes is far from being fun and exciting.

  • @HugTheHag said:

I mean... Nurse is mechanically pleasing. It's fun blinking around and guessing where people went. Unfortunately she makes me motion sick, but I understand the appeal.

Plus, it takes a lot of time learning proper blinking. So far I've been able to win only with the add-on that shows me where I'll "land".

This is why I appreciate when someone really knows how to use her.

  • I see many started practicing proxy camp which will probably be the viable route after the update.

    Except Bubbas. 😅

But Bubbas will always be Bubbas.

What if you are playing against a strong team that made a blunder and you won't win?

I put "GG" in the endgame chat? I'm fine with playing good players. Bully squads are what I don't like.

  • So you assumed OP was a camper? Interesting... I thought he was looking for an opinion as it isn't something he regularly does...

  • Interestingly, it is not the camping that makes it a viable strategy but knowing how altruistic survivors are. Half of the team is unavailable. The other half will definitely go for the save. So, in reality, you look for them if you stay and patrol the vicinity.

However, if you actively look for them and hurt / down a 3rd one the other 2 can escape as the team is still in disarray.

Meaning, you can ask yourself the question: shouldn't I allow them this small victory and continue? If you know you can win isn't winning with more BP better?

I'll give you an example: If I manage to do 2 hooks and down a 3rd survivor I never go and look for the 4th one. I allow this person to do the save. You said yourself: "I have already won." But I want an exciting match and I want to earn more BP.

  • OK I see you are referring to the in-game store but do we have the game's OST available for purchase? And I do not mean one released years ago but the means to have immediate access to the new TR once a new Killer is out.

  • @roundpitt said:

  • @Nazzzak said:

Honestly, bring We'll Make It. My team mates will 9/10 times drop for me to heal them, and they'll always return the favour. I also like to bring a medkit for late game when there's less people available to heal me.

This. Whichever survivor I play with this is a mandatory perk (along with Distortion). It is a good tunneling-repellent. The speed is just great and it lasts for a while so you don't have to do the healing immediately at the hook.

  • @ReikoMori said:

It's a flashlight, why people act like this is beyond my understanding. It literally does the same thing as any other flashlight ultimately.

It's an event-related (unique) flashlight not many of us kept.

The irony here is Meg believed she'd definitely survive with it and only by a fellow mate picking it up could she lose it.

  • I had a match with two players playing as friends (probably). One was simply great at chases and the other used head-on a couple of times. I met them in another match and while during the first I had 2K for the 2nd time it was a 4K with my killer Nemesis. I still suffered from Jane's head-ons a couple of times so in the endgame chat I mentioned my head hurt and they should go to bed. :D

They understood and laughed with me. I like when the chat can be light-hearted as it proves that many of us can take DbD as fun and these are the best games not the sweatfests.

Then at another time I did a 4K with the Artist and I said "gg the last chase was amazing" to a Bill but a player using Nea just said "l2p next". I did some googling and realised what it meant. It, of course, came from a pres 50+ who went down / got sacrificed first in the team. Unfortunately, this is the type of experience I have more than the above.

  • This is a reference to Ash vs Evil, the series. I recommend that you watch it. It's pretty fun.

  • @AnnaEliza365 said:

It's just not fun anymore. Tunneling at 5 gens every single game, and I'm over it. IDC about your opinion on the matter. I'm so done.

Is it 5 years without a break?

Can I get more info? Total number of hours played / achievement you got (maybe all maybe not) / are you a surv or killer main / your fav killer etc.

    I'm interested.

No, not because I will last for this long. I already stopped for a year and I'm planning to do that once more when the last challenge page opens and I complete it.
