For real, this is at least on some level sophisticated and not just an insult on the lowest level and can actually be laughed off and taken as a batch of pride.

But I have gotten enough people who wished me and my family the death by burning in our house or that my mom specifically gets cancer and the likes of that. One even wrote a lengthy tract on how my parents must be siblings for producing the likes of me, and believe me, their choice of words was much less sophisticated.

I reported all this people through the lengthy reporting feature, but I have no idea if any of these at least got a slap on the wrist. In the end I am not so petty that I want to see them punished, personally, BUT this kinda behaviour is clearly crossing the line and shouldn't go totally unchecked and scott free. This peeps might be normal, nice ones in real live, but if you get this unhinged in the spur of the moment, you should at least got to shown the mirror and have a stern talk down.

I assume they cannot confirm if they were banned due to data privacy.

Question: What about blocking? When blocking do you block the conversation with the blocked individual or you also never get in the same match with that person?

It's not toxic to play killer, camp or to use NoED.

It is toxic to insult someone for playing a game however they want as long as they don't break the rules that have been set by the owners of the game.

The community doesn't care about definitions, unfortunately. This is something I have realised in the last 2 years.

Tunnel / camp will always be triggers for insults. Same with constant crouching on the survivors' side. Somebody said I should consider it a dance instead of being offensive. Yeah, right. I don't like it. I learned to live with it.

  • NOED. After Eruption got nerfed I started seeing it more often. It is definitely a surprise if people do not look for totems but if it triggers when there is an attempt for a save it only gets you one more sacrifice towards the endgame. Can NOED take you further than 2 kills? It is possible. But it is such a cheap solution. When I was a beginner killer I remember using it several times and the community despised me for it. Nowadays, I wouldn't equip it, at all.

  • I rarely notice it. I usually attribute it to certain killers e.g. Skull Merchant. When there is one DC I usually let the last survivor go.

  • You don't team up with your friends in the morning.

SWF groups are typical on Friday nights or on the weekend.

I agree during the day and sometimes in the morning some matches are really chill.

  • No issues, honestly. Burst is "visible" as survs often start walking away from you so you know what will happen. DH eliminated lunging attacks. These two perks together are not annoying as DH.

Absolutely. A bit respect does not hurt, especially for people who try to get hooks without a full camp or tunnel since minute one. When i see a hardcore tunnel compound 33 blight on coal tower for example i don't drop my item just because i hope i get the hatch as "trade". No way. Take for what you sweated for.

I had a match with a Pig and I wasn't able to do a 4K as the 4th survivor found the hatch. I never got angry for this - honestly, 3K is perfectly fine.

Now the surv was t-bagging constantly while waiting at the hatch. Another surv in the endgame chat said: "I rooted for you till you started hitting crouch repeatedly..." Then he said "gg" to me and we were off to our next match. Probably the best I felt being a killer and playing fairly.

  • I see a lot more Wraiths now and I will go back using him soon.

For me it is a form of sportsmanship. When i see a bubba for example which does not camp and really goes for chases and i am able to make it to the exit, i simply drop my item for respect and kind of "GG".

I am that Bubba usually and it feels great to get that at the end. Lately, however, I have noticed a lot of nodding instead or players asking you to hit them before they leave to give you additional points. Some tend to add "killer" to their "gg" for you to understand this includes you, as well.

Ive told people to apologise to their families for being utter disappointments. Still haven't had a ban so i guess you can get away with that 🧐

I find this a rather sophisticated remark as opposed to the others I received or read. 😌

  • I stopped playing due to the increased toxicity but decided to return and purchase Skull. I played a little then encountered the same behaviour on both sides (SWF bully squad + constant tunnel / camp). Since 6.7.0 matches have been great. The removal of DH helped a lot. It feels better to play as a killer as the enemy team coordinates their actions better. I find playing the survivor side a tad bit more challenging but I never used DH (I never could properly learn it) so my builds mostly remain the same. I close endgame chats immediately. No arguments, no rage, just having fun as much as possible.

  • Thanks a lot! This is very useful!

  • Unfortunately, as much as "ez" can be perceived as rude it is not enough for someone to get banned. I usually do not read the endgame chat for the very reason of avoiding such remarks. Threat or otherwise - it's "just" words you can avoid seeing. But when the gameplay itself is toxic that is a different matter. What I can suggest is to close the chat and just move on.
