I'd rather they make a perk that lets me kill myself.
-
This forum is just the same few killers over and over
-
They should create a perk to go along with I'm gonna farm you forever.
You start the trial with 1/2/3 other survivor(s) already hooked.
-
I have trouble with survivors running across the map after an unhook. No, you're not the most important thing on the killer's mind the whole match.
-
You're supposed to have fun giving me my 4k.
-
The forums is killer dominated. Disagreeing with them here is similar to going to a religious place and disagreeing with the folks there.
-
Give it the same treatment as DS. When you are unhooked, there is a 60 second window for it to activate if and only if the final generator is completed within this time window. If the final generator is done while you are still on the hook or otherwise incapacited, the perk remains inactive and is effectively a wasted slot.
-
That's what it was a couple of years ago. Now it seems like swf is the way survivors are balanced
-
Whatever nerfs it may get in the future will likely disproportionally affect solo players than swf. It's like swf is the way the game is balanced
-
DC

You're supposed to let killers farm you. What were you doing looping him?
-
I only joined the forums a while ago and already quickly realised it's mostly killer dominated

You are why people refer to survivors as entitled, whiny, pathetic, and other derogatory terms. You would rather disconnect like a petulant child than allow anyone else free points.
Entitled. Little. Pissant.
Similarly why should players spend time to let you farm points off of them?

I dont understand the hate, i play both killer and survivor, he is fun to play as and not hard to beat. Just mend yourself and get out the gate...
Right away, an example of not understanding that players can have fun regardless of winning or losing.
-
Seems like a lot of people still don't understand that players can have fun regardless of winning or losing.
Legion's mechanic is inherentlt unfun to play against, whether you win or lose the match.
It's not fun looking at all time bars you need to fix on top of the generator time bar when facing legion.
-
Anything that gets me 4k consistently is balanced. Those who don't, they need buffs.
-
If they make Thanatophobia not work with Mend Self, then they should nerf Mend Self to require a 120 second channeling duration.
We need to stop generators being completed within 10 minutes.
-
If I play a killer without add ons and don't get 4k, that's a bad killer and needs to be buffed. I'm rank 1. Therefore, if I'm not better than 99% of the playerbase, it's because I'm handicapped playing a weak killer.
-
BBQ & Chili is a newbie killer. New survivors won't know it reveals everybody's auras (beyond a certain distance) and end up sabotaging their own teammates.
-
I dc against any match i'm not having fun in. Don't force me to spend my limited free time entertaining you and your ego.
-
Players have been treating 4k as a normal for a long time. For 50% of games to end in 4k, surivival rate for each survivor has to be around 15%. I can't imagine that being satisfying for survivors.
The strange thing on this forum is that killers aren't satisfied with pipping - they demand 4k be the norm yet at the same time demand that survivors to be satisfied with pipping and not actually surviving.

So basically what you're saying is, you have to go into the trial hoping that at least one survivor isn't as good as the others so you can catch them with ease? What if all 4 of them were DS flashlight clickers? Is it still my fault for getting gen rushed?
You lobby dodge them. We get to pick our opponents.
-
Everyone is testing out the killer. There's really nothing to test on the survivor side.
-
It should fit her backstory of trying in vain to save people. Therefore her kill animation would be to pray for the survivor, and after 1 month (real world time) of praying animation, the survivor dies from sickness.
-
The increased chance for unhooking yourself is op. The perk should have a downside. If any survivor fails to get unhooked and gets sacrificed, then all other survivors (hooked or not) immediately get sacrificed together.
-
ESP does not trigger distortion. Unless you're using distortion to find out if the killer legitimately triggered aura reading effects
Some of the most blatant ones are those that
1. Teleport the survivor to them. Not teleport themselves to the survivor.
2. Spend more time looking at solid walls at face-range as a killer and strafing into stuff while tracing things behind those solid walls
-
Based on it working vs doctor's madness, I think it might.
Although this killer majority forum would probably want otherwise.
-
People can have fun losing. No point staying in a match that's not fun.
-
Playing as a team is tricky at lower levels. If you want to rank up fast, you have to focus on pipping which may involve do scummy things to your teammates.
.
Empathy
Helps you find out where the killer is, and if your teammate is leading the killer to you
.
Bond
Helps you lose the killer by running past your teammates doing gens or totems. Killers would likely change target, especially for those doing active totems that are not Haunted Ground totems
.
Kindred
Turns your team into swf for coordination of saving you when hooked
.
Small game (if you are not familiar with where to find totems)
Farm those totems. They provide points for pipping
.
.
Other tips include
Escaping without getting downed gives bonus points. If you have to, sabotage your teammates in order to escape unscathed. This means if two of you are being chased, and you're ahead, throw down pallets to block your teammates so that they get hit instead and divert the killer's attention.
.
Do totems. Totems also give points
.
If you need to go somewhere and are not sure if the killer is going to intercept you, fast vault over a window near your teammates to draw the killer's attention, then move off to where you wanted to go

I can't seem to spot claudettes
-
Each time a survivor hits a great skill check, he gets to keep his finger. Otherwise it gets blown off and he loses 10% action speed permanently. Lose all 10 fingers and he can't do anything that involves hands
-
They are suffering from a sudden onset of stomachache
-
I have crows instead
-
It's hard to prove anything with the current infrastructure short of them detecting what software is being run when you're playing.
If you have a big enough screen, you can play in windowed mode and quickly tab over to buffer some movie or video to eat up your bandwidth, then tab back to fight the lag monster
-
It's a symptom of a problem.
People can have fun winning or losing. There are certain elements of the game that some players find extremely unfun and not worth the time.
Basically there are two groups.
1."You should stay in a match you're not having fun in so that I can have fun"
2."Why should I stay in a match I'm not having fun in so that you can have fun?"
-
Nurse.
Apart from triggering dc's, I feel dirty playing her. Great for farming and ranking.
-
Nurse should instant-down anyone within 4 meters of her path of travel, and at her destination.
-
Should be around a minute or so based on no information
-
A gen can be done in 80 seconds, minus the time it takes to find one without overlapping with another survivor. By taking away all the time leading up to anything, with that same logic, a survivor can be downed in 1 second with instant-down skills or add-ons, or 3 seconds without.
-
Nurse = dc

Why are you all so goddamn obsessed with tru3?
i see threads posted about him every goddamn week, he is good but it is getting tiresome
like, its the same trend every thread
if he ######### up
"OMG survivors are overpowered!!! genrush is real, nerf gens and let us have easy 4k!"
if he has a good game (like most of the time)
[S I L E N C E]
This forum has just a handful of usual posters. You'll of course see a common trend of topics and posts
-
Legion is unfun to play against as survivor.
Legion is unfun to play as when survivors just dc on me.
-
My weekly ritual is to do long distance jogging/running
-
Each time a survivor wants to start a gen, he needs to complete a soduku puzzle. That would stop gentapping.
-
Make the skill check zone tiny and appear in rapid succession in one of the four corners of the screen without any notification. If the survivor fails this skill check, that brand new part explodes out of the generator and kills the survivor due to the shiny new sharp parts.
-
Change Ruin so that the effect is in play without having an active totem. Then add an additional effect that when the exit gates are powered, it would turn into an active totem as a decoy for the NOED totem. Whenever that decoy totem is cleansed, the exit gates slam shut again and all generators have to be restarted
-
Killers are more fun and better for farming bloodpoints on a per-match basis.
Many people prefer to play killer. There is a big shortfall of players playing survivor in order to make up that 1:4 killer:survivor ratio for quick lobby times. -
It is a symptom of a problem. In summary there are elements of the game that both sides find not worthy of spending that amount of time in a match.
It's a matter of whether both sides are having fun. Why waste time letting the other side farm you when it's not a fun match (regardless of winning or losing).
As a killer, you can filter your survivors before the game starts, and dc if it does not turn out the way you expected it to.
As a survivor you can only decide after the game has started. -
Run to an ally doing an active totem or opening the exit gate. It's sure to lose the killer
-
You can see the general mindset of killers.
"Let me farm you, or you don't play at all."
Pretty much sums up the selfish mentality of the few frequent posters here
