Just because most survivors are bad doesn’t mean I don’t want to prepare for the ones that efficiently crank out gens
Yeah, sure, do you bro! Prepare for defeat, I'm sure that is written somewhere in The Art of War.
-
You lost me at tru3talent.!
-
I am all for No Ones Even Dead yet getting nerfed.
But I also think DS should deactivate when you touch a genny.
You are not being tunneled if you are doing gennys.

Except it’s not that time anymore, the math is clearly in the favor of survivors. If they all split up and do gens most killers literally can’t move fast enough to down them all before the gates are open.
Now granted most teams are bad, they waste time stealthing or trying flashlight saves so against these teams noed isn’t needed. You really don’t even need 4 perks against these teams so why not bring a perk for when you do face a death squad
That is kind off my point. Most teams are bad, in relation to the highest skilled killers.
And if you actually run into those seal teams swf, they will just have done the bones anyway.
But, for me, it is simply a crutch for people that are consistently losing.
No one is ever going say, "Wow, you hit me once all game. Great job using that Noed."

Correct, people are using NOED to CAPITALIZE on the fact that nobody does the bones. NOED would be far weaker if survivors actually did bones or at the very least made a mental note of where they were. I personally don't use NOED, so I am perfectly happy trying to get survivors to actually cleanse dull totems
I'm with you that sometimes survivors can be like this. I don't personally care about noed myself either, because we do bones, and if it does pop, we usually destroy it in 30 seconds.
However I will never view a killer that runs noed consistently as being as highly skilled as those that 4k consistently without it.

Nothing like deciding not to complete a secondary objective that gives a lot of bloodpoints, then complaining about getting punished for it
C'mon dude. A killer is not using No Ones Even Dead yet to teach survivors to do the bones.
The use it, praying that one totem is hidden so well it doesn't get cleansed and maybe they can get some kills at the end.
Like @GrannyonAcid mentioned, some of us come from a time where it was embarrassing to be a noed killer.
I'll take the lose and avoid using this perk myself.

You answered your own question. If it is just pixels then why bother t bagging when you or a teammate are tunnelled?
That's a good point, and if I was a killer I would just laugh it off.
It just magnifies that his tactics are silly and they are wasting a lot of time.
But I never said it didn't have a meaning, just that it is silly to get tilted about it. Like I ain't mad you tunneled me, but I don't respect it either.

On behalf of Killers, I must apologize for the lack of consideration. No more will you be chased, hit, hooked, downed or otherwise inconvenienced while playing your Generator Repair Sim game.
You missed my point. I have played plenty of killer, you do not need to tunnel one guy off the hook with 5 gennys to go.
Play how you want, but if you do, that is when you may, may, see me tbag.
But thanks for your sarcasm!
-
Why the obsession with tbagging, I mean who cares? It's a pixelated character squatting.
I myself only do it if you are straight tunneling me or a teammate. And I mean as soon as unhooked, only to just start chasing me again and again. You will get my tbag if you chased me for 5 gennys and a noed cleanse.
But that must be what you want, right?
Why else would you spend the whole game chasing 1 person. Probably thirsty by now with all that sweating.
As killer, I couldn't care less about a tbag. I play my game with my strategies, and know I will eventually probably kill you.
If you get out, I'll be breaking pallets for two minutes.
-
@xTalon32 said:
Okay, so now we as survivors are annoyed that killers guard gates and gens? That makes perfect sense.
Let's just remove killers from the game, then we'd have no issues at all.
I know. It's so silly. Like people getting mad over tbagging.

That’s funny but I don’t see why someone would ever think that’s hacking, that’s a sprint burst glitch cause it’s happened to me and someone I’ve seen play before, and we’re on Xbox so it’s obviously you can’t hack on there.
Yeah, I just assumed he may have thought that. He never messaged me back after my gg. But is was so funny to see.
-
Why tho? I mean what is the purpose, to eliminate the opportunity to take a kit for your friend?
-
I have never seen a hacker on PS4.
I have seen many glitches. Once my friend had balanced, jumped off the rock, and kept his 150% speed for most of the game. It was hilarious he was zooming all over, a wraith just keep chasing him.
I'm sure he thought we were hacking, but just a weird glitch.
-
I guess this is fine, but god forbid you tbag him while he does it, then you are greatly effecting the fairness of the game.

Yeah. I don't know why my game ALWAYS crashes when the killer uses a mori. Or when survivors switch to a key. What a weird thing.
Are you on PS4? It happens a lot to me as well!
-
@Orionbash said:
I can't believe we had a survey about fairness and the focus was teabagging rather than on Freddy.
Or DS, or Noed, or doc not losing blood lust when shocking...etc ..etc.
We can't really be talking about tbagging here, can we. I mean who is so concerned about a pixelated character crouching that they would suggest it greatly ruins the game.
Get some self esteem!

being big doesn't also mean good, there's a bunch of smaller youtubers like fungoose that are much more helpful than many popular ones are,noob3,puppers,monto are just doing funny montages while others also teach you about the game, also the killer job is to kill survivors by all means neccesary.
Yeah, for me it's fungoose. He is educational and committed to teaching people the game.
Plus pretty damn good at both sides

I prefer the tenseness that is solo with very little info. Just kills me when my team is deadlier than the killer!
No I get it. I just prefer less frustrating games than the rando grabbag
-
That's actually called t bagging., lol.
Seriously tho, that is why playing with randos sucks. Some games you get an awesome one with skill and game knowledge.
Other times tho....please.
No thanks, I'll kill while I wait on my swfmates.

Another rank 20, killing it!

If they’re actually a good team, then that’s good practice. I want to achieve a level of play that can beat the worse death squad teams out there.
Also, most SWFs just are not good and you may not even realize it is a group. I’m hearing there’s more and more potato survivors making it to the highest ranks.
This exactly! Glad someone said it.
Swf is what makes this game competitive, 4 randos is an easy 4k.
I am a bit old school I guess now, come from a day when killers took pride in winning following the supposed "survivor rulebook".
Now everyone just wants a 4k with the least amount of effort. These are the groups that will make you better. These are the groups that will cause the most amount of growth in your time as a killer.

So when Survivors play with 3 perks all game it's skill, but when Killers do it it's a crutch?
It's a crutch when you play a perk admitting you are going to fail to keep all 5 gennys from being done .
If you play it now and again, or the occasional meme build, well that is for fun.
If it is in your everyday build, well then you must constantly have survivors finishing gens on you, or why would it be an everyday perk.
If your referring to adrenaline, that you play because you are consistently completing your objectives, not consistently failing to do so.
If it makes you feel better, I think DS is a bs unbalanced perk.

What's with the upper and lower case letters? I have seen this a few times and don't get it.

@Fibijean said:
I've seen really good killers slay with total meme builds. I don't think that killers are anywhere near as perk-dependent as many people seem to believe. Good perks help, sure, and buying the DLCs is an easy way to get them, but I wouldn't call that pay-to-win (especially since you technically don't need to pay for any of those perks if you get lucky with the Shrine).
Yeah I can get to rank 13 or so playing without perks or addons.
And maybe higher if matchmaking didnt put me against 4 man red ranks.
But with that said, survivor is much easier, and allows much more room to experiment at higher ranks.
-
@GrannyonAcid said:
You never are required to tunnel and camp. You choose to do so because you're unable to accept that you might lose a match. I get what you're saying. But I'd rather let all 4 people escape and know that I made the game extremely difficult for them over killing all of them.
This is me right here as well. I have been a rank 1, I know that sometimes you just get outplayed.
I have never camped, rarely tunnel, and laugh at the possibility of running No Ones Even Dead yet crutch perk.
I 4k often playing as fairly as I can.
If people get out, then I know I have at least made my presence known. Then ggs and move on.
-
Another No Ones Even Dead yet crutch perk post!
Moving on!
-
The one I have the most medkits on currently
-
Yeah I hate this as survivor. I won't crawl to the hatch at all. Just lay there and wait til death.
If you wanted to give me the hatch you would have dropped me on top of it.
Gg, then I move on
-
Not another No Ones Even Dead yet crutch post!
-
@Deadeye , I know you're right. Some folks just want to ruin another's fun.
I like to kill em with kindness. I have sent gg wp to facecampers who have actually apologized by the end of the conversation.
But others want nothing more than salt
-
@Dzeikor said:
Keys are just as annoying as moris, you can pretty much escape as soon as the hatch spawns completely skipping the late game of a match and the collapse,I am hoping this will be adressed soon since its not fun for either sides.
Both are annoying, and both counter the other. Change them both or leave them alone. At least a key you can see in the lobby and dodge before the game loads in, if that is your preference.
-
Guess it would save me from getting farmed by randoms.
But I dont run BT anyway. If I have to I'll take the hit for ya. But I always try to save when the killer is not around.

This is probably one of the actual non reactionary and sensible responses to this thread. If this community eventually learns that acting with kindness as a whole would bring much less toxicity to it as a whole, we would have a much healthier forum as well. However I do worry that people haven't learnt how to separate their frustration and how they act upon it, it can make them do things that are considered bad manners in the game and then they try to rationalize or justify it.
It's not so much an issue with the game as it is with how people deal with their own emotions.
Yes, I agree, perfectly stated. We have to remember its just people playing a game.
-
I'm glad they removed the need to reque with your swf after each match.
-
It's not just killers, it's both sides that have toxic people.
This game has also created an atmosphere where both sides have been conditioned that toxicity is going to be in like every third game or so. Then when they see it, they bring that reaction in to the next game.
I also think we have gotten out of hand with what we label as toxic. I mean if we recognize, tunneling, camping, moris, as legitimate tactics.
So must we recognize body blocks, hook sabos, loops as well.
The best thing we could do is just play the game for your own win conditions. And respect the other person right to do the same. Don't like their tactics, send a gg and move on.
-
Well guess Freddy isn't as ez mode as some have stated.

I think that's the point of scared wraith.
I even open the gates to get the points before survivors do
The point is to depip the survivors as well?
I thought it was so the killer could depip.
Doesn't make sense to depip the same survivors one is trying to get away from playing.
-
Play fair is all, we have won a few as 3v1.
Sometimes if its really early. I'll let them get a genny done and then it's game on.
-
Me as well, I'm on PS4 and I am curious if they are really as bad as some people are making out.

I've actually found that being positive toward inititally toxic survivors makes them rethink their toxicity about 90% of the time! However, I don't camp/tunnel/slug(unless necessary in regards to slugging), so I don't normally get angry survivors, even when I play Nurse and Plague.
Some people got mad at me for not letting them farm when I used a Streamers, but I just told them sorry and that I was just doing my job. They all agreed and said gg! Sometimes you just have to be the bigger person.
I'm with you, I rarely get angry survivors. I also prefer to play as fair as possible, without cucking myself ofcourse.
I always send a gg, and compliment those that were really good.
I do the same as a survivor. Killer always gets a gg wp. Regardless of if I win or lose, or I liked your tactics or not.
I can't tell you how many friends I have made this way. I usually end up with new swfmates . So funny to have a killer go all sweaty on you, just to be swfing with them the next day. Or vice versa, ofcourse.

Freddy and spirit are boring to play as aswell. No satisfaction to down survivors cuz it's ez af
So people want to buff other killers , so downing people with them, becomes easy af?
I don't get the logic to that.
All killers should be the same strength, strong killers are boring, buff weak killers to make them strong killers, that will then become boring?

They complain because there should be no "weaker killers that get less kills". You should be able to win just as well with every character. Lately devs have proven they want to maintain a balance between killers.
I agree, I like playing Freddy and Spirit. I have mained spirit since she came out, when if you remember, everyone said she was trash.
I think the devs are trying hard to balance this game. But they did give us killers that can overcome the same constant complaints of gen speeds, map size, loops, swfs. In fact like 25% of killers can overcome these tactics without a need to 3 gen or run gen slow down perks.
But as the game has changed, they have introduced new killers, new powers, it only is natural that some are stronger than others.

I’m only putting down the whiners that exaggerate all the things they don’t like as though they happen every game. You should feel bad if all you have to do is whine about the game. A lot of us love all the aspects that get whined about constantly.
The quality of killer you play against improves as you get out of green ranks, and then again when you get out of purple ranks. Maybe get better, and your experience will improve.
If you want to play swf, go ahead, but quit whining about solo queue. Solo is where the best players play. Swf is a crutch.
Dude I haven't whined at all about solo. Just those that farm me in front of killer who then send a message saying killer tunneled, no you farmed me.
Plus your whole post was an insult to all of us that swf, some weird rant about how great solos are compared to swfs.
I'd argue that it's the individual skill that defines a player, not if they swf or not.
I respect all of you good solo players that join our lobbys and escape with us. But there are also many that farm you, self heal in the corner, camp the hatch and such. Just being a solo doesn't make you any better then the next guy.

They said their reason. They're boring. Everyone has their own reasons for their opinion, and the strength of a killer alone should not dictate your entire attitude and opinion. People criticize the devs for doing just that with the Nurse rework.
I understand they said they were boring. But that may come with also being powerful.
I mean how can you balance a killer like Spirit with a killer like trapper. My point is that there are killers that can compete in the top ranks, and win. There are killers that will struggle, because their power is not as strong.
If you pick a weaker killer because you find them more fun, then expect less kills.
There's a reason a lion hunts water buffalo and a coyote hunts smaller game.

You can't say the game's fine just because a good few of the killers are fine.
But shouldn't they be different tho. I mean different power is going to provide different strengths and tactics.
My point was why hate on these killers, when they have they have the strengths that most killers are asking for?
