Then that’s on you for taking that risk to progress the game. Healing undoes killer pressure. That progresses the game. So you are not being tunneled. They are just reclaiming pressure back over someone actively trying to undo their pressure. Having DS still up in that situation would be stupid.
Why is it stupid.? Because I like to heal midchase when some silly killer is trying to mind game me, and they suck at it.
Game respects game. If you're gonna tunnel me, least you can do is be good at it and get me down quickly, so I don't get bored and have to try and heal, and can keep my DS.
-
I'm more old school with her, ofcourse old prayer beads and MDR were so much fun. Grabs for days.
My most ran Combo was dirty ubawaki and bloody hair brooch , extra speed and quick activation, took me to my very first rank 1 ,years back.
Now,I just run whatever she has in her war chest, which is still substantial after a number of years.

If you're healing, you're not being tunneled. If you are being tunneled, why are you healing knowing they're pursuing you? If you're healing and then they came back and chased you, that's not tunneling. That's them finding a person to chase again because you decided to stay right where they ended up finding you.
Because I run a fast medkit and heal mid chase. Doesn't mean I'm not being tunneled if a steal a few seconds here and there in chase.
-
I thought it was already a bored game😎
-
I heard the ban was for too many Spirit threads😁
Welcome back my friend!
My next killer session will begin with a 7 Spirit games salute!
-
It just returns it to an abusable mechanic again.
I believe you should be able to self heal until fully healed tho.
-
Only time I bag is if you are a straight tunneler.
If you can't take your eyes off my ass, least I can do is make it dance for you.
-
I am not sure if you are aware, but creating a forum account automatically boost your MMR into the highest level.

No reward or progress system is perfect, I do agree that in moments like this there should be some kind of compensation but how or how much? If you have better ideas then spit it out, I bet the devs would love to hear and read ideas. I personally would have no idea tbh
I just think they should remove the depip. Rank is meaningless, a reward given for time played, so who really cares if you got your ass kicked one game? Are you not still playing, providing competition to others? I don't see the need to equate an ass kicking with some negative effect on your rewards.
Take the L, move on and keep grinding towards the rewards.

That's what I hate about it. 50/50 to me. Is you go in to every match with an equal opportunity to succeed or fail.
But their system loves to just give you curb stomps. Then the next day throw you in nothing but death matches of survivors with 6k + hours who know how to survive. Paired with second chance perks.
Exactly, I think that was always their plan. Then tell us Rank is meaningless so we can't flood the forums with screenshots showing the problem.

I don't think it is. I think it's MM throwing the first available killer to a group. Regardless of sbmm.
Yeah, I have no doubt. But in theory, it does seem to keep a pretty close 50% win rate. Even if some of those games are curb stomping.

There is, its called ranking, 95% of all multiplayer games with a "ranked" mode has it too. Its to showcase your progress in the season which is a nice motivation for the player and since we finally got a decent end season reward its ever better of a reason to depip now.
But it is not for ranking anymore. It is for rewards only. Hence, depips should be removed. You are offering a reward for folks to show up and play the game, then using the stick when things go badly. For instance getting facecamped at 5 gens results in a depip, how does that showcase your progress?
-
That is a 50% win rate tho

Nerf dead hard.
Nerf COH.
NERF UNBREAKABLE.
WATCH SURVIVORS STOP CLICKING AND THINKING THAT THEY ARE SO GOOD AT THE GAME.
WATCH SURVIVORS STOP TRYING TO BULLY KILLERS.
WATCH SURVIVORS CRY.
And I'm all for it.
This game has been survivor sided for far too long. I think it's time the tables turn. 😘
YOu do realize escape rates taking a nose dive would lead to killer nerfs, right?
If the kill rate hovers around 50% with these perks, what do you think it would be without them?
So, in theory, it survivors have so many second chances, and viable tactics and still die at a 50% rate, killers are actually doing ok.
#########, I average 2ks a game as Trapper, what is your average kill rate?
-
Agreed, and once again get rid of the stupid ass depip. It makes no sense in the current game and only ads insult to a bad game, often outside your control.

Yeah you don't even need to loop. Shift W and drop pallet.
I don't know who thought it is good idea to making map with a million pallets.
Fair trade for shelter woods tho,
-
I love the Game. I just throw pallets at will and get 3 gen runs minimal.
-
I've always found this move just leads to being tunneled, really only effective at EGC or if they are truly a God tier looper.
-
My Ace is not even represented.
And, no he will never just be, Other.
But, I guess I am a pretty kind player, perhaps all Ace mains are, hence why we didn't make the list.
Makes sense

So I decided to try a new build with Head On, Quick And Quiet, Blast Mine, and Flashbangs and the killers I went against were not happy with it.
I had this one Bubba on The Pale Rose who I kept stunning with Head On and Blast Mine. Safe to say, he was not happy and camped me. Then I had a Artist who tunnelled me because of Head On. Then I had a Nemesis on Eyrie Of Crows who also camped me.
It's like I'm not allowed to have any fun in this game without getting tunnelled or camped. 😑
Well to be fair, plenty of games I'm not having fun but still end up getting tunneled and camped😄
But in all seriousness, if you do these plays, you're going to get a lot of the killer's attention, I'll be on the gens, keep em busy!

Pro tip: take DS, I am hard tunneller and I would kill you extremely quickly even before knowing what perks you had.
Exactly why i run DS every game. Im still surprised more people don't.

Since I grew up with the atari 2600, I get the nostalgia vibe.
But, any interest in the Ash vs the Evil Dead game? I was wondering if others were feeling that game?
-
Idk, but my experience is over a 2k average running only Trapper.
My current love.
But ofcourse he suffers verse Swf, and boons as well. The truth is this game favors experience. But if you are not having fun, perhaps gaining that experience is not worth it for you.

True lol. I don't think I'll ever get over how many "They said this !!!" posts we get. Like folks are incapable of thinking for themselves.
And they take that ######### as gospel as well. Quoting them, posting their videos, telling their friends, writing it in the Christmas cards....X said this, so it must be true!!
Hope you are having a good day my friend!

how "sided" game is, will be usually considered by capability of those sides.
No one thinks "nurse is bad" just because her kill rates are low, because her capability is greatest of all killers.
Same should be applied to survivors, doesn't matter if there is plenty of bad players or not, survivors are capable of absolutely destroying pretty much every one of killers if they played properly, "situation" can not change how capable those characters are.
Well, you might have read, where I agreed with that?
So, I think we are just saying we agree?
And acknowledging variables?

Everything has a time and place. It all depends on when you're doing it and what the circumstances are. Can't really answer those questions that broadly. I can give you example though:
The 4 man SWF I play with has about 10k hrs between us. There isn't much we haven't seen. A Trapper tried to basement camp last weekend. I managed to trade hooks with the first player to get my Deliverance active. He then hooked me and camped me in the basement. My teammates did another 3 gens and I used Deliverance right before I went into struggle. Then I went into a locker with DS active as the last gen popped. He waited out my DS and I died while my teammates escaped. 4 hook stages total and a 1k for the basement camp strategy.
Point being, camping and tunneling are totally viable in the right situation against the right squad. But as your MMR increases you're going to encounter teams that force a tactical change on your part. It's good to be able to play other styles as the situation dictates.
This exactly.
Well said.

I mean, that's survivor problem, nothing to do with killers.
I don't think I said it was.
I was referencing Budhhas comment of how the game is survivor sided, which is not the case in every situation

I do not understand, is playing survivor supposed to magically change reality? I play tons of survivor and still believe the game is survivor sided at higher levels because I am not biased as hell.
I agree, at higher ranks, and more so if swfing.
But as a solo q main, it all comes down to teammates, and at least half of them are clueless, and that makes for a lot of frustration.
It is so, you can feel the difference when you have good situationally aware mates or dolts, the game just flows differently.

With the obsession that the forums has with Scott Jund I would find it unlikely this wasn't inspired by that.
Is said person quitting?
Oh please tell me it is true, and we won't have to deal with his minions constantly regurgitating his opinions.
-
I agree with you on DH being strong.
I personally don't run exhaustion perks.
But with the God damn stacked gen slowdowns , I can understand why people might want/need a bit of help to prolong chase.
-
Just shows how OP killer is.
Just started the game and you can still get 3 hooks.
Imagine them at 10 hours.

True but I never 99 because I find it's the best move majority of time. No one gets caught at gate, everyone can focus on protection, and if timer does get super low just leave. No reason the killer can't have one kill for ######### sake.
I totally agree, It seems people become obsessed with getting all 4 out. 3 out is a win and the killer deserves some fun as well.
-
There is a time and a place for it. If it's all you know how to do, well, sounds like a get good problem.
But, I agree with others, most people that understand the game, know why and when it is appropriate and don't throw shade over it.
-
I have been playing Trapper mostly, nothing more BS than cornering a survivor and having them Dead Hard through a perfectly set up trap.
But, of course, plenty of games where they sprint burst into it, so there is that.
-
As others have stated, there is a difference between playing for points and playing for kills. Quickly killing everyone does not allow for a large accumulation of bloodpoints, and honestly it shouldn't.
-

The 99 door thing is to make sure EGC doesn't screw people over if they take a long time rescuing everyone. This goes triple if some wildcard decides to bring in Blood Warden.
Of course, whoever 99s the gate has gotta make sure that they or someone else is not too far from the Gate so they can immediately open it as someone is desperately trying to run from the Killer toward that gate.
Yes, no doubts. There is a time for it, but I feel so many people do it without the understanding when it is appropriate and when it is not.
I still feel I die more because of 99 gates then I see them save people.

Had a match last week where I'm injured and deathhook and Meg 99 door AND walks away from it with the killer heading straight at us. I died at entrance of gate since I had to go open the door first. Switched to another game after that I was so pissed.
Yeah, that was me yesterday. I was done after that. So frustrating.
I don't get the 99 doors thing, if you do it, stay by door to open it.
In my case, if she opened doors I could have ran out and if she took a hit , definitely would have made it.

I feel like that's probably spirit. You don't need to be right up on them. As long as you can hear footsteps and grunts of pain. You can get in the ball park. And folks have dropped iron will for COH lately.
Blight. There's definitely nuisances to using his power to get hits at loops
Yeah, I would agree with you on Spirit. I am a console, so Blight doesn't appear too easy to me.
-
Honestly, it's the best compliment you can get as a survivor. It means you probably had a long chase and wasted the killers time significantly.
I honestly had a 5 gen run yesterday, which is rare for me. I got hooked after 3 gens, got hit on the hook, saved, DS'd him, and ran him another 2 gens. Then camped, saved at EGC and slugged until bleed out as my team tried to save me.
Ultimate compliment. Means I was living rent free in their heads and still got to record the game to show my lady. Whom feigned interest.
-
Oh God, don't get me started, I'm beginning to think you only get one hook state anymore.
And, for the love of God, stop this 99ing doors BS.
Especially when there are only 2 of us left. I do a long loop to give you time to open the door, somehow make it back and the fking door is 99. While you are now on the other door.
What is the logic behind this move?

I'm not that guy but I think nurse is easier, because unlike blight she can deal with lot of bullshit survivors do.
That is fair, I don't believe she takes as long to master as many others do.

He also put Nurse on C tier and Clown on A tier, so yeah 🙃
Do you disagree with Blight being the easiest of the strong killers?
-
I have heard Hexy refer to him as the easiest of the strong killers,
-
I only drop my item when I respect a killer's game.
I don't care about living at that point, I usually appreciate the skill and probably had a fun game.

My solo q games, beg to differ, but ok.
