i usually get when i play killer haddonfield, RPD and badham constently an i dont make threads cause of it
Haddonfield is still disabled, right?

Lucky, all I get is swamp and midwich.
I hate playing offerings, but if I see either of these maps again...
-
Suddenly start to suck at the game
-
I think killer may be more difficult to get one's desired win conditions met, however it is easier to rank up, as opposed to solo que. Which can often end in depips because of tactic or teammates that you have no control over.
-
A lot of perks, "reward" bad game play. They are just perks, on really skilled and experienced players, they become potent. On less skilled inexperienced players, they give you maybe 4 seconds of chase time or perhaps 1k

My man Ace, in F tier?
Too crazy

Welcome Back!
-
I agree with @HaunterofShadows , Trapper is a lot of fun.
-
The worst is when they spam the unhook action repeatedly and never rescue you.
Because then you can't even die.
The solo q life.
-
I get those occasionally, or accused of SWFing frequently, although I solo 98%.
There are sore losers on both sides.

I never said I wanted him banned, but I do believe that those with twitch shirts are obviously held to a higher standard, as i believe bhvr recently stated
Sorry, cancel
-
Why care?
You went to his chat, he told you to f off, sounds like the situation resolved itself.
You really want him banned for something he did on his own platform?
Seems petty.
People disagree all the time, don't subscribe or watch him, and you never need see him again.
-
Fair enough.
But you can see them and still pip.

As a killer i dont use noed often specially with the new dms. Most of the time when i get destroy is because survivor dont loop but the second they see me they start running in a straight line i could be 20 meter away or 10 meter it wont matter. Because i dont play nurse or blight i have no counterplay against that so i just quit and surrender and i say gg in the chat.
When im survivor and only 2 survivor are left the thing you need to do if you want to win you play sneaky and you dont get chase while reparing gen its going to be a long match but you will win if you dont get spot. Bonus you get a free hatch sometime so you dont even need to do good in that match and the game can reward you anyway.
I can't help myself. I do gens until killer comes, then do chase as long as I can.
I can't do sneaky, although I know it would serve me better

Nah, it just reflects your played match.
You don't find it a negative when you depip?

Killer can DC they only have 5 second of queue time XD
Perso i feel like i always have a chance when im survivor but when i play killer a lot of the time depending how the survivor are playing im like well i have no chance i surrender and i DC. If i had a surrender button after 2 minute in a match if i believe im going to lose i would use it 100% of the time. I probably think like that because i play a lot of tcg so i know when im beat and accept it
See, I feel the opposite.
As survivor you pretty much know when a game is a lost cause.
But as killer, you can snowball at any point in the game. Maybe they finished 3 gens in 1 chase, but a little timely slugging and you end up with a 4k with 2 gens left.
And there's always the noed come back,

Yea you had a very good point because I play both sides and see the pain of both sides. I mean I like the thought of the reward through playtime system but the Pips just make it more difficult, not to mention you have to earn more Pips as you "rank" up.
I totally agree. And with the grind already being terrible, why make us grind even more ?

I've made a ton of posts about this and even offered simple easy suggestions for fixes. Right now it's a skill based system that determines how far you get in a non skill based system. It doesn't make sense and should've been reworked completely when grades were made.
It should just be a simple bar on the screen. Each grade takes longer to fill up, so it takes longer to fill the bar at gold than it does silver and so on. Each match gives you an amount of points that goes to that bar. The more you do in a match, the more points you get, the greater the bar fills. But you get a base amount by just joining the match, so even if you get tunneled and camped immediately, you still get something.
Even if you played and got tunneled and camped in every game, or had 4 man escapes every game playing as killer, you'd still get something, and would eventually get to iri 1 by just playing enough, regardless of how your matches went.
This would completely simplify their systems and actually make it easier for Behavior to manage. No more emblems or pips to worry about. Just simple point bar. People reaching grade 1 too fast? Adjust the points required to fill the bars. Taking too long and not feeling rewarding enough? Just adjust the amount of points required. It could be fine tuned and tweaked very easily to meet the standards they're looking for, and would be a long lasting system they wouldn't need to completely change later.
Thanks.
Well thought out!

Its really the same for Killers too. He could hook everyone but didn't get a single kill and he will depip. The Pip system is flawed and like others said doesn't work with SBMM. I only can play on the weekends because of my jobs I work during the week so I can't reach past silver if I'm lucky, so I usually get stuck in ash and get little BP
Definitely goes for both sides
-
@Tiufal said:
So you can depip, but you cant derank. Whats the problem? Do you want it even easier to get your Iri 1 rewards?
Yes, if it's solely an indication of time played, why not?
Depipping adds negative connotations to the experience.
-
@Taingaran said:
Depipping is a relic of the old system and is no longer needed. I hope the developers will not need a few years to understand this and remove it))
Well said, so agree

dunno, who cares about rank rewards
I'll always take some bloodpoints. Add to my item collection
-
You do get used to it, and for some reason camping doesn't bother me as much as a straight tunneling. I guess because I feel you can counter a camper.
Now, I'm all for tunneling as a tactic to swing momentum, take advantage of bad plays.
But, I'm not a fan of tunneling as a strategy. Like you go into a game, knowing you will tunnel the first person you see out of the game.
But, if it means that much to you, well, thank you, next.
-
Congratulations my friend!!!

Because all the the morons that done everything they could to cheese their MMR rating up seem to now be doing everything they can to cheese their MMR rating down
But how does that factor into rank rewards?
-
@espooked said:
getting iri 1 survivor is so hard like a killer can end your game so fast if they wanted to and u gotta freakin sacrifice a goat to gain a pip. I should get a pip if I max out boldness points alone
Well, if nothing else, you shouldn't be depipping, IMO.
-
@Barbarossa2020 said:
Because we need a numerical value in order to grade ourselves.
Yeah, but it is now only about rewards, so why depip us
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Agree. Just hide ranks and disable depips, hate getting depip because of something out of my control.
Like teammate DC early is very popular lately.
Ranks mean nothing anymore but BP reward so why even keep depip as a possibility.
I know. It's meaningless, but still it adds a bit of insult to a tough game
-
@BenihimeWrath said:
I actually posted a thread about this a few months ago asking why killers were punished more for not being able to complete their objective (Hooks/kills) compared to survivors who could still easily 2 pip even if they died, failing their objective entirely. Even though the emblems/pips basically mean nothing more than who plays the most.
That is a very good point
-
I hear you, but on the opposite.
I had 4 killers DC the other night, in a row.
Like why even que up if you're going to DC the moment the game becomes a challenge?
-
You win some and you lose some.
Don't take it so personally.
-
It's the new DC penalty

Never heard of them.

I haven't had many AFK killers, but I have had quite a few DC. Then accuse us of SWFing, when I only play solo, except the occasional Duo with my lady, who is not very skilled and we are drinking bourbon as well.

You are welcome 😊

I 💯 agree.
Nothing should be basekit, except cypress mori.

Same thing happened to me just earlier today, and boy was I tempted to let the survivor I finally found bleedout. But so much time had already been wasted I opted to hook. Slugs will eventually die; if survivors hide, they can sometimes hide indefinitely (depending on the map, killer, perks, etc.). OP had every reason to let that survivor bleed out.
I hear you.
Good on you for being the bigger person.
Both sides have ######### that is ignorant to the other side. I play how I would like to verse. It seems so simple to me.
If you don't like it, don't do it to others.
-
So you did exactly what you're complaining about?

I just started recently using it since high ranked players are toxic they ignore totems and gen rush so it's the only way to get a sacrifice against red ranks
NO, I understand. Completely. But it may cause your MMR to rise by getting kills because of it. Where not getting those kills would lower it and be a more accurate representation of where you should be.
Although, it's hard to know for sure with the ratio of survivors to killers, you may still get red ranks.
-
With the amount of gen slowdowns being stacked, Prove Thyself can be a welcomed sight at times!
-
I just play normally, pressure gens, get more hooks, hopefully get my BBQ stacks.
Then wonder why I didn't leave that first chase much sooner.
-
Lose Noed, it may be inflating your MMR with kills at end game.
-
It's a great perk, still super strong during the end game.
If a Killer wants to straight tunnel you out, well odds are they can do it.
But, it does give you another chance to get away, perhaps someone else will take agro

very valid points, i guess it was a quick judgement call i made. I was having a rough night it was getting to end of stream so just wanted to get a win no matter the cost. But this is good criticism and i appreciate everyone's input. In future i will attempt to do better thank you all appreciate your time.
Certainly understandable, sometimes you just need a win!
-
Nothing in game is toxic.
But being forced to bleed out because you lack confidence to get to a hook sucks.
Why not try to hook some one, and if they wiggle out , win one more chase?
Or, do you lack confidence that you could?
Is a 4k worth, waiting for two people to bleed out?
Guess, that is subjective.

Reminds me of that one Meg in old Shelter Woods, long ago.
I was using Prayer Beads, and she somehow managed to leave the gen in time.
Yeah, sometimes, you just get a six sense for those things.
