Competition is a good thing, However DBD is the gold standard when it comes to the asymmetrical genre! After all it invented it.
Others will try to add there own flair to it which is a great thing for the genre as we are all fans of it so lets support and grow I say.
But in regards to changes I feel this has been a long time coming and Behavior have been playing close attention to current meta, so it's time for a shake up not to mention all the feedback they have received.

i stick to those that are chill. Doesn’t matter if they are competitive or not, but being able to play the game for fun and not constantly blaming the game, the perks, the devs or crying cheats/hacks when they got outplayed is a big plus for me :)
also I like content creators that are informative without being know-it-alls or being condescending to people (in their chat or in their game as teammates/opponents) that don’t know everything about the game and do minor mistakes.
….. but that’s just me and I know many people actually like more drama etc..

As a Legion main I'm just enjoying having fun with them right now. I know they will get nerfed just a matter of time which is sad.

The only thing I hate in game is if you're at the exit gate wasting time just to tbag. If you know everyone is safe. Just leave. That's toxic to me. Because I value my time. And would like to move on.
And it just sets the double standard. People have no problem hanging out at a exit gate for 2 minutes just to BM and waste time. But complain to all hell about being camped, etc etc. Because it's boring. But somehow sticking at a exit gate for 2 minutes is not.
Yeah just leave why hold game hostage. You won GGZ let's move on to our next game

As a Killer Main I can say it's not toxic. How TF is it Toxic if it's your objective as a Survivor? I swear peeps make up rules to suit them.

I think OH Tofu made a great video on this topic. MMR isn't the real issue it's the meta perks being used and we are losing to those perks. Well IMO I agree but everyone is entitled to there own. It's a great watch I recommend it. stay safe have fun.

People who say things like that tend to be sad people who are too toxic to have real friends. Usually, their circle of 'friends' is a group of toxic people who always try to hurt the others in the group so they can feel better about their bitter, empty lives.
Since they tend to be the ragdoll of their 'friend' group; they take their vile personalities online, where no one can easily punish them for the sewage that dribbles from their mouths.
And for bonus irony: They are usually the ones who believe 'It's not my fault if you get offended' when they say offensive things or 'Everyone is a snowflake' if they get punished for their very anti-social behavior.
They frequently demand that people should be allowed to say anything they want with no fear of reprisal, as they are very much aware that they are horrible people who would get punished by anyone with a shred of decency.
The best thing to do is just laugh it off and walk away. When they don't get the outrage of offended reactions they desperately crave; they just get more angry as the gnawing void of their lives becomes louder. 😁
Yeah just report it and move on I guess. Don't want the post to come across like I'm complaining. Just want to shed light and call out these individuals. I can handle the spice if it's directed at me but don't go after someone just because of a charm or if they identify a certain way.

That is an option for anyone, except for console players -- they do not have any chat at all and its all good, everyone else can just turn the chat off and not deal with... people.
Exactly very true. I personally love engaging with people I call out good plays and whenever I came across good teams or amazing survivors I call it how it is. Firm believer in positivity whether win or lose you always learn and grow.

Funny story last night was playing as Pinhead and thought I brought engineers fang, every time I kept hitting with my chain I kept saying ######### aren't they injured immediately thought was playing against a group of hackers. Only to find out I brought Larry's Blood instead. How that happened beats me lmao

DBD is my main game however I do enjoy Hunt: Showdown, Back 4 Blood, Midnight Ghost Hunt & a variety of story driven games. Currently playing through Control right now loving it what a game!

The only thing that annoys me with DC as a Killer Main is it makes game unfair for the rest of the Survivors who are willing to play. I then can't play my game as it feels like a cheap win to me personally. I would suggest if your going to give up at least give up on Hook that way the game can continue as per normal. But yeah just a suggestion anyways.

Yeah something different and would bring that hopeless vibe to being a survivor. Again i understand the point is to have that 3rd person perspective, I'm just saying as maybe as a limited time event to bring variety to the game i feel it could be fun

I personally enjoy the MMR system, its give harder games requiring me to get better at the game (well that's how i look at it) i get stomped alot of the time when using my 3 go to Killers. But that's part of growing i feel.

We all play to win its normal, competition brings that out in us which is fine. People just have to chill and hold themselves accountable for there behavior, I understand your not in control of other peoples behavior but you in charge of your own. Be civil, be nice to others I live by the age old saying if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything. I control what I can the rest I let go not gonna lose sleep over it.

I've always wondered how the game would flip if point of views would change. Let the Killer have Third Person View and Survivors have First Person View. Switch it up a bit maybe even for a limited time mode
