If you're having skill problems, I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems and the witch ain't one.
In all seriousness, I don't think it's that bad. Healing against Legion is a waste of time anyway, so now they're just getting tricked into wasting that time just because it's less time they're wasting. And you have plenty of time to take out the totem while they're mending (which is not boosted by healing circle). I don't know if you can snuff out totems during frenzy like how you can kick gens, but if you can then all the better. Legion also got a nice buff with the Third Seal and Blood Favor changes, and Thrill of the Hunt might be worth looking into if you're that concerned about boons.
One of my favorite replies yet! π€£

Can't lie!
I do love writing, "Just do bones " almost as much as I disliked reading it every thread.
What's good for the goose and all....

How long has he been streaming?π
I believe 16 months or so
-
I like chill smaller streamers, figure the big guys don't need my support. But, currently, I am watching Brutha_Bone. He is a great streamer, chill and positive, but mainly a survivor main. He does play killer on occasion, has a fun community.

As many people have stated, keys still have the aura reading add ons. It's only gonna be a second chance at hatch after the killer closes it.
Yes, but I don't think that is what we were referring to in our discussion.

@Barbarossa2020 said:
"so I ask again, what is the point keys now?"
The same as Mori's.
Nothing really. Surv's wanted a "unfun" addon nerfed, Killers got the same.
That's a little simplistic, don't you think?
Moris still allow you to avoid possible DS, unbreakable , flashlight saves, flash bangs, pallet stuns, hook sabotage, body blocks, etc.
What do keys now allow you to do?

You lost me at Slinger main

My mindset is:
"Did I get enough bloodpoints this game?"
I don't really care if I get a 4k or a 0k as long as I get enough points and I had fun.
Though for some people winning is the goal.
Me as well. I do understand that for some tho, that 4k is a win. I just have played too long to care anymore. I'd rather get into another game.
-
Honestly, at this point in the game, slugging for the 4k makes no sense. Do you really want to raise your SBMM. So you can get into those sweaty ass games. No, 3k is just fine with me.
-
God, I hope not. If you are worried because one survivor found the hatch and escaped, I mean damn, perhaps you are taking this "game" a bit too serious.

If the description is right she does not lose the traps. If she lost the traps this would just be a meme common addon. Instead it's a busted iridescent addon, and the thing is that it replaces an ambush addon wich makes me thing that they will buff her basekit.
That would double her traps, and place them on at the beginning . Wow, that would be strong. And the pig would know exactly where to start looking for survivors. Unless they chose to rush gens until someone is in chase. But Wow, seems strong. I'll say it backwards...woW!

I would expect she would start with zero traps in her inventory. Its also Iridescent, so of a rareity where you cant use it every game.
Fair, but I have like 300 iridescent on some characters, so that really depends on the player
-
Does she lose traps in her inventory, if not, why wouldn't you run this?
-
No. I don't imagine they do. I just like a normal 10 15 minute game. Win or lose, gets some chases in, few saves and heals and a genny.
That is fun, win or lose. I am not a fan of niche gameplay I guess.
But, to be fair, I'm not a fan of survivor teammates playing around with me , pointing at gennys, spinning, hook spamming just for shiggles. I prefer to just play the game.
-
Only time I bag is if you are a straight tunneler, other than that I don't know.
I guess it allows them to feel superior for a second.
Or someone did it to them when they played killer.

Why? Donβt leave π₯Ί
I just got bored with Spirit after playing her so long. I am currently playing killers I have less experience with.
Keeps it a bit more fresh for me
-
I mained her for two years, so doubtful I will play her again.
Probably keep her retired, maybe play Trapper more tho!
-
I hear you my friend. I have four years in myself and I think I have played like twice this month. Just not feeling it right now.
Games have been all sweaty and I like to play more chill.
Good run tho!
-
My build is DS , Kindred, Bond and windows
-
In high level play, the game can snowball quickly if survivors are not careful, so that is why they hammer gens.
But, most people don't play at a high level as evidenced by solo q.

In this specific case unfair, so unfun.
Fair enough!

Does toxic even have any meaning any more in this game
-
Hires!
-
I don't understand.
So only one side should be allowed to use map offerings?
-
Since I don't run exhaustion perks, it doesn't seem worth it

Thank you. As a person that mained Spirit for a long time, I agree. I rarely used the stand still mindgame, so it's whatever.
Luckily, I retired her long ago. I just have too many hours on her to play her again. But, I don't see the big deal, run glasses and they'll be fine.

I dont think that will happens if sbmm work as it should be.
If a killer sweat, his sb will be increased to a higher one and you would be still in lower one. SWF will have their sb increased too. But I cant tell how sbmm work for SWF.
I heard that your time in a trial also count into sb. Im afraided that killers slug me for 4mins to increase my sb, when I could die earlier.
I didn't think of that. Which would also mean, dying on hook asap would lower it then.
-
I honestly bought this game on steam and just started playing on computer, to see how MM works. And it has been horrible, I am matched with people with hundreds of hours and I can't even use the controls. I am horrible on Keyboard and Mouse as I have 0 experience.
Which is a struggle in itself, knowing the game, but not the controls is quite frustrating.
However, I assumed this was going to help Noobs avoid these situations and it doesn't seem to true.
I was a fan of SBMM at the beginning, but I have not felt the same since it's release.
-
I feel you. I was the most chill killer I could be for the last year or so, and even I have begun to sweat again, just a bit. But, if I wanted to win more games or returned to caring a bit more about the results then I would indeed be sweating more.
As a solo q gamer tho, I have not enjoyed this SBMM. I was kinda hoping for style based, chills with chills and all that. But even this is a sweatfest. I think what is going to happen, many will just decide to SWF, which in turn will make killers sweat even more which will continue to increase SWFs.

We've actually got 2 point systems on the forums.
One is probably what you are referring to - which is reputation points, which we don't actually use. This is done when your comments are liked or other interactions etc...but as we do not implement much with these, they don't really mean anything at the moment.
The other points we have, is warning points - where a certain amount of points will give you a forum ban. But again, we tend to use our own escalation procedure instead of just basic points.
Thank you. Do we see ban points, or no?

I remember a conversation with a mod about this before. They're the forums automatic warning system that it uses whenever someone gets a comment edited or deleted, alongside being jailed or tempbanned. They serve no purpose as the mod team use the whole escalation system of warning jail tempban perma ban
Damn, so the higher the points the closer one is to a ban??? Ouch

If everyone had your mindset I'd agree, but alas they dont.
That is a fair statement. Took me awhile to get there
-
Tunneling is not a must, it is a choice. Especially nowadays with MMR.
It is really done because one is applying an arbitrary number of kills to define a win.
Play for fun , play how you would like to verse , and the game does chill out a bit.

Yeah, I prefer just running around. I was never a huge fan of camping in first person shooters which is why I got into Overwatch, even their professional players do not check corners because of how wildly inefficient the bush wookie lifestyle is in that game.
That being said, when I am playing to win on Freddy, lol. I wouldn't leave it for the world. But for a Klondike bar? Maybe.
Fair enough!
-
Unfortunately, everything appears to encourage tunneling these days.
Just put it on the list .

No, I am countering their camping. Big difference, this is the alpha Chad Park Ranger method. I am out in the open and have a 32 meter terror radius. The true camper is squatting in a bush like a coward. Think about it.
I thought about it. Play how you like, but I was referencing OP.
I'd still rather go and chase then stand by a hook. But, I'll play how I like. The beauty of DBD.
-
Tell me you're a camper without telling me ......
-
Not sure if we will ever know the answer to this, as BE treats us like mushrooms.
Keeps us in the dark and feed us #########.
-
So true, and many still claim, killer is the harder role.
-
Just some more fun interactive gameplay.
-
Killers just don't have as much free time to spare for toxicity, or we'll lose another gen!
-
Yeah, I saw this the other day and I am on board!!!
-
You know it's going to happen again, so!
-
I can understand some of this frustration, I am also a long term player, and it looks like I may need to to take a break myself. I also enjoy this game, but the constant sweat fest is just getting old.
Honestly, my killer games are about the same, perhaps a few more good SWFs than normal, but at least as killer, I control the flow of the game and how intense I want to play.
But, in solo, you are at the mercy of your teammates skill level and decision making, funneled through the intensity and tactics of the killer. Which at times, just doesn't seem worth it anymore.
