I think you are talking about Eruption perk.
Yes, I would decrease the effect where you can't do anything productive at all but I would increase the gen regression.
-
Update: It is possible that it works well since I think I was using Pentimento together which confused me into thinking it doesn't work while it is posible that Undying covered the Pentimento totem instead of the token based one.
-
Update: No, it works probably well. I am so stupid and I played these perks with Pentimento so I bet the Undying covered the Pentimento stack instead of my main totem. So I missunderstand the situation lol. Sorry about that.
I tested a match where I didn't play Pentimento and the tokens were all fine when the Undying was destroyed.
-
Yea, I am pretty sure most people wants this perk to be reworked, since you can't really buff a perk that has bad effect in the first place.

Yes but it dose not slow down recovery speed
@K139K05 said:
Yep, Cauldrophobia decreases the healing speed for downed survivors (if you try to get them up). But healing a downed survivor doesn't trigger skill checks, so the second part of the perk is kinda pointless against downed survivors.
Thank you! I was thinking about using it on Twins to deal with fast healing so I can pick up someone xD.
Ohhh I didn't know you can't get skillchecks when you healing someone from the ground.
-
Its still pretty good, but I don't find use out of it every game or in most games really so I don't use it.
-
Yes, happend to me as well once. There is one hook upstairs in one of the rooms where you can't hook them.

Pretty sure it's bugged with all token-based hexes as it seems to not work with devour hope either.
Wait, really? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my devour hope Demo :(

I'm on the console version so I've never had a public chat about results other than via DM, but the screenshots I always see are this awful litany of words.
I know it's like an echo chamber, but it's so memorable that I'm worried that a large player base might be all of these players.
Yea people seems to cry and tell you nasty things just because they lose in video game lol.

That looks like a fun build actually! Not sure what the survivors are on about.
Yea I got lucky and got Lary's hospital so Oblivious was even stronger haha.
-
Update: I reported this as a bug since this is not how this should work. Udying always should transfer and keep your tokens.
-
You can't tag devs unless they are allready involved in the discussion btw.
Now back to the question, I think with every big update they could make some older outfits for shards as well.
-
At least boons will be safe from Mikaela for now... 😎
Good luck!

So are you conceding that this perk is only worth the one totem stack it gains?
It could probably lose all the other effects then right? Just make it a flat 30% reduction to repair speeds and forget the rest?
The main power level part I think is the slow gen speed. Then the healing speed is nice too. The rest is side bonuses for me.
-
@Seraphor said:
I like the idea of reigniting broken totems. But I don't like what Pentimento does. It's just badly designed. It disproportionately hurts solo survivors than it does SWF. This makes it yet another factor hurting solo queue, and is what contributes to the inconsistent value as a killer, those games where you get 4 stacks of Penti versus those games where you just can't seem to keep the totem up long enough to get any value out of it.
I'd much rather if it was something like a 5% speed penalty to all actions including; repairs, healing vaults, cleansing, etc. for each reignited totem.
5% would kill this perk and trow it under the bus.
-
Because money and FOMO (fear of missing out).
-
@CakeDuty said:
People have suggested that before, but the downside to that is basically 60 seconds means that killers get to camp a whole hook stage for free and there is nothing the survivors can do about it, cause all gens are blocked.
I'd rather the perk got some kind of secondary effect or it revealed the auras of all survivors for like 10 seconds. Killers will get 40 seconds of gen blocking + encourages them to leave hook cause they get to know every survivors current position. Atm if the obsession is your 4th hook, then you just get no value out of that aura reading.
Oh yes, that would help too. Something like "Now they can't do gens + now you also get this" to reward not camping the 4th person.

against solos on a good map for her if she has rusty shackles and dried cicada? yes
any other scenario? no
"Jump scare" addon is pretty strong on her that's true. I usualy don't run strong addons on her, just some brown / yellow ones.

The Twins are pretty fun to play IMO. The worst part of them is constantly getting DSed as Victor
Or when you can't pick up someone because you are 20m+ away and they group up and heal with medkits :(

I like Dredge a lot personaly, but If I have to think why people don't like him as much: He is mid at best. He has okay antiloop, but not great one. He has good mobility, but it is map dependant so it is overall okay as well. His nightfall is good but without addons it takes a while to charge up usualy.
Overall he is "avarage" probably. I like him tho.
-
He is frustraiting.
On the one side you have the ability sometimes storm Survivors and eat their health states fast, that is fun and feels good when it happends.
On the other side you can be looped for a long time and it feels boring, tedious and frustraiting. Some buildings and loops destroys him. It's annoying to hit them with 1-2 knifes per loop when you have no other option. Also I hate when they are 1 blade off and I run out of ammo or they manage to put behind themselfs 100 objects.
Also most Survivors hate him since he can have 0 counterplay in some cases.
-
They are cool <3

@Norhc said:
Twins aren't destroyed by anything, really. Their "strange" gameplay and appearance is why so few people use them. Hag just is boring and a punching bag against bully squads.
Oh Trust me, they can be destroyed very easy with right tools.
-
Because Its 1vs4? It's not 1v1.

...

...
-
I thought it would be like automatic system, where after that 4 weeks period it would be unlocked for shards too (non-licensed content of course). Oh well...
-
I don't want to be a party breaker, but that is not a lot of matches in total to make something out of it. But keep it up!
I love stats.
-
Yea it should.
26 seconds of not being able to do anything at all just because you play Solo Q is too good and unfun.
Buff a bit the regression ammout to compensate and make it more worth it againts SWF groups.
-
If it would be based also on Killer popularity, Twins would have 300% BP at all times xD
-
@fake said:
Why don't you join me in pleading with them to change the blink attack to a special attack?
I am allready in that same team haha.
-
@RaSavage42 said:
Can't wait for BHVR to come out with perk stats per Killer.... LOL
I bet every Nurse I play againts has like 90% chance she is playing these two perks xD
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
I mean, you can win with every Killer against the majority of Survivors.
That depends. I wouldn't say it like that but yes, you can win with every killer.
Maps, offerings, addons, items, killer choice, map rng, pallets, your skill, their skill, number of mistakes, spawns, SWF or not , etc., all matters to determine the outcome of the match.

@Akumakaji said:
I started playing him a lot the last couple of days and I am having a blast with him.
When I played him at his release, I totally slept on his short ranged teleport to shut down loops, because it was worded too complicated for me and got confused by his mortar and pestle add on. Now that I learned how to use that part of his kit effectively, I am having so much fun at loops. Most survivors seem to be totally surprised that he got this power and run into the most obvious laid traps, but a few know how to counterplay and even use it against yourself. Fun!
And since the big update BBQ usage totally broke down, so survivors no longer counter play it by jumping into lockers or hiding behind gens. So I hook someone, teleport right next to another survivor, totally jump scare the poor soul and am back into my next chase within seconds.
Glad someone likes him a lot too!
Fun fact: Its always so funny when you teleporting to one locker and someone suddenly gets grabbed by you haha. Never gets old.

@HectorBrando said:
Probably because of the PTB.
Nah, it's probably because Survivors have bonus BP almost all day + most people probably got used to the last mid-chapter killer buffs.
-
@fulltonon said:
Because he is playable unlike sadako, and little more skillful/fun than dredge.
Then how about Artist? Or Cenobite? Artist is very strong and Cenobite is pretty decent.
-
It's situational and situational perks are usually not popular nor meta.
-
They are silence about it so far. Not good. Also according to someone with some sources when it was first discovered, it was around Artist realese, so almost year ago at this point. It was not fixed they say.
Sad times.
-
I stopped at Sadako.
-
@Leachy_Jr said:
Artist didn't get one either. Thank god because they probably would've nerfed her into the ground like slinger.
Oh true. At least something good in the end.
-
Not even Twins changes. Sad.
-
@Tranquil_Blue said:
I would've thought there'd be at least some tweaks to perks or addons.
Yea. Seems like we have to wait another half year for Twins and Sadako changes.
-
Twice a match? Naaaaaah.
Buff it back to 4-5 seconds? Yea.
-
Here you go.
-
These buffs are so overpowered. Also none of these perks are joke. There are far worse perks.
-
Isn't this technicaly a nerf? For anyone with bigger TR it is nerf. Nah, pass.
-
"But that doesn't fit in the g...."
I personaly don't care. I would like to see some original chapter(s) next.
-
Map offerings should be nerfed by a lot or even better, removed.
-
I am no Nemi expert, but I don't think there are that many secret strategies for him. At least at this your point, where you have so much EXP with him. He isn't the most complex killer when it comes to his power if you know what I mean. His skill cealling has Its limits.
Someone like Pinhead or Billy... Oh yea, there must be so much to learn and be perfect at.
