I’m on Xbox but killer still takes really long while survivor is very fast. Then I end up getting matched against ranks 8-15 while I’m a rank 6 or 5
-
@Mtom912 said:
Is the point meant to be there are more rank 1 survivors? Well yeah rank doesn’t mean anything half the people at rank 1 on both sides are potatoes, rank 1 is extremely easy to get on both sides
Stop calling me bad :(

Enduring made DS useless (before the stun time increase) so it was changed.
Oh ok, sorry, it’s just I don’t use enduring. Also when were the stats of your bubba games gonna be shown? I remember you talking about them and I got pretty excited to see the results

Enduring doesn’t affect DS.
They nerfed it?

So... you're point is...? All you're doing is stating the obvious. I try not to be toxic, because I just don't get enjoyment from the game in that way. However, others do. You get good with the bad, as in all things.
But you can't deny a lot of survivor perks are second chances. From Exhaustion perks like Lithe, SB, and BL for being out of position, to perks like BT, DS, and Kindred, to punish the killer for making certain desicions, to perks like Inner Strength and Second Wind, which punish the killer for not chasing you.
Then there are items that fix mistakes for survivors, like instaheals and keys (I consider keys the get out of jail free card except if they're going for the achievement).
Killers have moris, but I wouldn't consider that toxic, only in how it's used.
Some people have grudges, and some people don't know better than to camp.
Something you may consider not toxic could to the killer, then again, you're being vague in that statement. Vice versa too, something the killer may not consider toxic, like slugging, could be perceived as such.
I think I know what you're trying to do, to unite people together against toxicity, but at the same time you're just pitting people against each other at the same time. People might see that you are just saying "It's not survivors fault they're toxic, because killers are too!" which is just unproductive in the long run.
I mean killers also have second chance perks like noed. They can completely counter the counter, which is DS, by using enduring. People can use insidious to counter borrowed time. You want to stop getting looper? Just slap bamboozle, enduring, spirit fury, and brutal strength and you can just counter a survivors only way of getting distance
-
I really like the stealth killers, especially Michael, because you’d be doing a gen and you turn around and it’s a nearly 7 foot man staring at you. I also really like Trapper and Demogorgon
i hate going against people like wraith and legion because they’re just not exciting to go against

I'm actually doing the same exact thing, I'm not unlocking all the crap perks like 3rd Seal, Unnerving, Coulro, etc. I've been through that on the PS4 and I've learned my lesson on the PC, only unlock the good shiz or you're screwing yourself over.
Frankly I didn't know the problem you just mentioned was even possible with the Bloodweb changes.
Some perks can be really good with specific people so sometimes the “shiz” perks like coulrophobia can be part of an anti healing build, or maybe a terror radius based build with unnerving and overwhelming presence, coulrophobia, and distressing to see down everything. Idk, just some thought to give instead of keeping only upper tier/meta perks
-
I’m starting to like stbfl a lot more because of demo and his shred. I’m also really liking iron will, hope, and lightweight.
-
On Xbox, it’s either Myers, Spirit, Huntress, Trapper, and Pig
-
It has to be either the Demogorgon with his intense roar, Freddy’s where he just gives a clean little tap with his fingers, or Michael’s. It’s so basic but you can feel the evil the way he examines his blade, especially with the prestige knife so you see all the shiny blood.

Please see above reasoning.
I mean you want more free escapes as a survivor? Would you also like me to carry you princess style at the start of the trial open the door and let you out onto a soft pillow?
Seriously your failures result in a harder escape be happy you get a chance. If a lot of killers had a chance they would remove the hatch unless 2 gens are completed. This should seriously be a thing still.
Survivors get rewarded for failure yet killers get punished for doing a amazing job. Yet you can't be happy with your pathetic excuse of a chance while a killer has a punishment for his success.
I just want NOED removed, is that too much to ask for?
-
And that also means more people from Stranger Things will be coming back! More players=different tactics. It’s also more players=shorter wait times

Allow all survivors 150% speed and I think it'll be a very balanced game, no?
Nope, they should also make it so they can completely freeze the killer. Oh, and also, take away all the killers perks and make it so no generators have to be done.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/89768/what-do-killers-survivors-consider-op
To answer your title, anything that can be used to kill them.
Ya, why do killers get a weapon? They should buff survivor, making it so they have a gun and can instantly kill the killer anytime they want
-
I enjoy the concept seeming that all I get in my bloodweb is monsterous shrine 1. But I think the speed boost would be a bit much. Maybe if you made is so it increases your lunge by 0.1 of a second maybe up to 4 tokens it’d be better. Maybe if it just made is easier to get bloodlust? I don’t know exactly but I’d love changing the killer meta

- You can use Spine chill
- You can use OoO
- You can gentap when killer is not chasing someone
- On Rotten Fields map you can see the corn moving, on other maps the grass
That's the problem. Survivors just think they should be able to work on gens non-stop if killer is not near. They should start to play tactical and not gen-rush because that's what this specific Addon punishes excellently.
My question is who the hell runs OoO? Unless you’re in a gen rushing swf, OoO does nothing but punishes you, and if you are against one, then the game is over by the time you reach a gen.
-
I mostly agree with your list but I want to know what you would buff for Plague? I’d say she’s fine where she is.
-
@Snapshot said:
Why exactly does Prayer Beards need a nerf? There are plenty of perks to counter it.. And in a chase inside Terror Radius it does not make a difference
Because the only perk that can counter it is spine chill out of the one hundred and something. It also allows free grabs. But you can go to the “Spirit is not OP” discussion and see people argue over prayer beads.
-
@lynelmane said:
I've seen this SO much lately, people saying that spirit needs a nerf to her ability. She doesn't, actually.
The only thing I agree with is that prayer beads needs to be changed to pink rarity. Otherwise, she is fine.
Spirit is a different killer than the rest, and people don't like that. Survivors want to be able to escape 100% of the time, which is not realistic. Nerfing a killer because she's not easy to counter is quite childish imo.
Spirit has a visual queue for when she is phasing. Her hair stands up. She has a kind of idle animation for standing still, and when she phases the animation resets and the hair stands up quickly. Some also say that the glass on her body gets shiny. If you pay attention, you'll know when she is phasing.
The best counters to spirit are Iron Will and being immersed. If you hear her phasing, get off your gen so she cant grab you. If you're in her TR, wait until she's gone before working on the gen unless she's in chase.
Her mindgaming isn't as easy as people think. It doesn't work a lot of the time and survivors just get away because i've wasted time standing there, hoping they mess up and walk towards me. If you're being chased by a spirit, DO NOT stop at a pallet to heal yourself. She can phase around it and hit you. Just keep running until she's got you or you've lost her. Unless she wants to tunnel you, just loop her until she gets mad and leaves.
If she's phasing right in front of you, walk. Take a sharp turn and walk in another direction, behind cover if you can find some.
You can call me a whiny killer main if you want, but please try to learn before giving up and wanting to take the easy way out by calling for a nerf.
Yes especially when perks like Spine Chill, Lightweight, Quick and Quiet, Dance with Me, and Iron Will can make Spirit suffer
-
Survivors: Iron will with lightweight
Killers: Infectious Fright with Monitor and Abuse

Game isn't over till all four survivors escape or die. NOED is usually active for about as long as Haunted Grounds in my experience, but you don't any people complaining about that perk.
Recommend running Remember Me / Blood Warden / NOED / whatever perk you want just to see how powerful investing in the lategame is, especially if you play well normally.
It’s because with NOED you wouldn’t know it’s a thing until you’re downed and facecamped with it to secure a kill while Haunted Grounds tells everyone that you’re exposed

It's a comeback perk if the killer struggled, and a perk to increase endgame difficulty in general. I'd say adrenaline is just as bs
Then run blood warden, because if you needed an insta-down perk which also gives a speed boost, then you aren’t in the right rank

I hate her mom jeans and playing her gets you tunneled because killer will assume you have D-strike. So i have 2 reasons to hate her
But it’s not her fault that she’s from the 70’s and also I’ve never been tunneled just because of that, is it common?
-
On my Nancy, I've been using inner strength, ds, head on, and quick and quiet which has been so much fun, especially on swf.
-
Why is Laurie so low?
-
I’m glad that Michael is at least at the top of D
-
I prefer inner strength because I find self care way too long while you can do it in 8 seconds with inner strength or get healed by a teammate at a much faster rate. Plus, many people like to run sloppy butcher and that BUTCHERS self care by making it feel forever.

From what I’ve seen, perk builds do not hard counter really good spirit players.
Lightweight? Iron will? Spine chill?
-
IMO, I think that ghostface should be lower and that Myers should be higher. I’m not saying Myers is SS and GF is D but Myers does better when comparing abilities such as one shot for everyone instead of only 1 or 2, with the increased lunge and vault speed, while also being base speed. I also think Bubba should be higher because he might not be the best, but better than wraith and legion because of his multiple one shot and instant pallet breaking. No hate tho, I see why you’d choose the tiers that each killer is at.

Some other killers have a stealth ability that totally denies Borrowed Time, so we should be fine here.
Ya but wraith and pig aren’t played at purple or red ranks often enough for it to be a big thing
-
@Dreamnomad said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/88930/borrowed-time-no-longer-works-against-freddy
It's actually better than that. If Freddy hits the survivor going for the unhook they will be put asleep. If the player unhooking has borrowed time, but is asleep then borrowed time will not trigger in the first place. So Freddy counters borrowed time on both ends. Before the unhook and after. And to answer your question, yes it was intentional. Oblivious also has interactions with Diversion, Stake Out and Object of Obsession.
So it’s a nerf to all of those except OoO?
-
@TAG said:

Counterpoint: Borrowed Time didn't need to be incidentally buffed twice. This is just dialing it back for one specific Killer. :P
Ya but on Xbox all I see are Freddies and spirits
-
My main is just Michael and Bubba, but that’s mostly because I don’t have any other dlcs
-
For killer, I always like stbfl and for survivor I like lithe a lot

If you do know that they can be very powerful doesn’t that warrant at least one higher tier than what you have them at right now? Also yeah Myers is same tier as ghostface which is somewhere in mid tier. I do wish they would give him his multi stalk back. Or maybe give him a small speed boost while in tier 3 (like bloodlust 1 by default?)
He does have multi-stalk

myres is slow as f, pig helps slow down the game by a lot compared to the others u mentioned, huntress u can dough her hatches so she is mainly an m1 killer and trapper isnt that good. Myres might be b tier with right add ons and perks but not a tier at all
You talked about gen-grabbing spirit, but forgot about Myers being able to grab you off as well? What about Fragrant Tuft of Hair? That gives infinite tier 3 and makes everyone one shot with longest basic attack lunge+increased vaulting speed. There’s also the tombstones, which can kill without even hitting them?
-
I’d rather have Jonathan for Steve, just because him and Nancy are so good together. But if there could be children, I would’ve wanted Steve and Dustin

how dare you suggest survivors should do something other than gens, looping and flashlight blinding 24/7!
but yes i agree, NOED is fine. the only change i think should happen, if any, is you know they have NOED as the totem activates, and not after someones already downed. but even as it is, its fine
Don’t forget pointing and teabagging

Survivor and killer do similar things but have different skillsets. It's normal to have different ranks.
If you wanna record a game and ask for tips, I'm willing to help, but there's probably better people around.
I would suggest watching OhTofu, he does coachings on videos that people send him, it will probably help you more than I could.
This is his latest one.
He also has a full guide on billy that's pretty good if billy is your guy
Nah I prefer big boi Myers

PS4 meta is the same as PC. Please stop spreading the misinformation. He probably isn't red rank which is okay, but in no way is Myers top tier on PS4 or Xbox. Platform literally only matters for Nurse but she's still the best, it just takes a little longer to master her on console but once you do same effect.
Console meta is very different than the PC killer tier lists I see. I’m a red rank survivor and see billies, Freddies, and huntresses. Then I would see the occasional Myers, ghostface, or plague. I’ve only seen rank 20 nurses on console because playing her is actual torture

I completly disagree with your Tier list.
- Myers is no where near as good as Spirit. He should be A or B Tier.
- Huntress on D Tier? Ahm... woot? Her Chase potential is one of the best in the game. A good huntress is somtimes even better then a good billy. She is definitly S or A tier.
- Wraith is not B Tier.. he is at best C Tier, but i would rahter put him in D Tier. Putting him on the same level as Freddy is beyond my comprehension.
- Said that, i would put Freddy in A Tier.
- You underestimate Plague
Everyone underestimates plague for soem reason
