Please give us Claire and Leon as survivors with Mr. X as the killer and the RPD station as the map. The other STARS members could be legendary skins for the survivors.

Why the hell did you pay actual money for this killer after everything literally everyone said?
I bought him on day 1, that's why. There was no way to tell how he'd perform prior to that point.

If trickster is so garbage and terrible that you have to turbo tunnel to do anything with him
why the hell are you playing trickster?
Because I paid actual money for this dlc and want to get any use out of it?
-
@ReverseVelocity said:
Have you tried not tunneling?
Trickster literally only can tunnel, his entire mechanic is based on that. And it's not my fault if the other survivors don't want to stick around until the very end of the match to eat hits for their teammate.
-
@Harold_Shipman said:
They have played with 3 perks up until that point for that single use. If your main gripe is that this perk is preventing you from getting your single kill then maybe the issue isn't the perk.
The issue is BHVR's lack of awareness on how broken certain perks can be if used during endgame. That's why threads like this one are being made, my only hope is that they actually read it and maybe consider some changes. Weak killers like Trickster already struggle massively and to degrade them even more like this is anything but fair.
-
@DawnMad said:
Yeah, making camping have no counterplay in endgame is definitely a more fair idea.
What else am I supposed to do as a weak Trickster during endgame? There's no alternative, I can't even apply enough pressure to eat any of their Decive Strikes early due to how weak the killer is.
-
None of the given advice is remotely applicable to a killer like Trickster. Do you have any idea how long it takes to down someone as him? I merely happened to down and hook a completely different survivor when the final gen popped and that person literally got a free escape just because they had DS. Now that is blatant injustice.
-
Survivors simply have far too many second chance perks, there really need to be more nerfs to those.

I main deathslinger so I can tell you for a fact trickster is too weak.
deathslinger's spear is powerful enough that it gets around most loops
trickster on the otherhand his power cannot be used at most loops far too often I'm playing trickster and I can't stop but thinking "they would be downed by now if I was playing deathslinger" and it's true. He's too slow and his power is too weak.
The knives need to be buffed to justify his slow movement speed
I actually play Deathslinger to recover from the mental trauma of having to play this garbage killer we know as Trickster. Getting 4Ks right away but the moment I try to play Trickster I only see zero or one-kill scenarios. He might very well be the weakest killer ever released in the history of DbD, I dare say this 5th anniversary might turn out to be the worst of them all. Just one failure after another.
-
I don't get the people who seriously think he's fine after these lackluster changes. It still takes 2-3 gens just to get your first hook if the survivors aren't complete potatoes, at that point the game's almost as good as lost for Trickster.
-
Didn't take a fortune teller to saw that one coming. His entire design/kit is inherently flawed, who even creates a killer who has to hit 8 projectiles while being 110%? This makes no sense, you're better off playing Deathslinger or Huntress - period.
-
He still plays terribly; being forced to hit 8 knives while still being a 110% killer definitely puts him below Huntress and Deathslinger in terms of accessability. Those two only need to hit you once to get the damage done whereas Trickster still wastes tons of time on loops if survivors hug walls or keep crouching as you attempt to hit them. The laceration decay needs to be reworked completely, either force survivors to pull out the knives themselves or make regression so unbelievably slow that he doesn't get punished for losing/dropping chases.
Right now there's no alternative but to make him a 115% killer.
-
I don't think it'd be very ethical to ridicule Freddy like that, he had to endure 3 years of being utter garbage. If anything he should be allowed to remain strong for an equal duration to even out things, anything else would be bad karma.
-
Doesn't really affect me since I never used his blood pools anyway. Dream pallets all day.

If you go by killrate alone Nurse would be the weakest Killer.
I'm not saying that she shouldn't be buffed, just that other killers have been waiting longer.
I just don't get why a killer like Demogorgon, who definitely is in need of help but still performs far better than Plague, is higher on their list of priorities than a killer who's been constantly struggling with issues caused by dedicated servers and some inherent design issues which make her predictable and weak for many survivors.
-
@SunaIIanu said:
It's not true that the Devs forgot about her for two years, she was buffed in the Patch 3.6.0 about a year ago.
That buff apparently didn't help her or else she wouldn't be the least picked killer with the 2nd lowest killrate in the game. Two years of being forgotten and ridiculed.
-
@Northener1907 said:
Plague can get power if survivors cleans. And when they do they, Plague is really strong. If they wont, Plague turning m1 killer.
So possibly devs thought, survivor will clean for free heal. But survivors usually smarter than this. So i dont know how they buff Plague. Because she is already strong but she cant use her power if survivors smart.
Her power is quite overrated if you ask me. Competent survivors will make sure to cleanse in remote corners without any nearby objectives so that the poor gal has to waste a ton of time to get her power while gens get done right and left. And even then, survivors either hide or hug walls at long loops to deny her power entirely. She cannot hit anyone as long as she has to slow down to channel her own power while going after them. Her power only works on wide open maps.
-
@Azshhh said:
I'm pretty sure they've forgotten she exists as an actual playable character at this point lol
You might be right, their art-department has long forgotten her as well. It's been over 14 months since her last original cosmetics came out, meanwhile all she gets are lazy recolors of pre-existing outfits locked away behind premium passes.
-
Well, seeing constant kpop fancams on twitter threads can be quite the horror indeed.

Key abuse lol.
Keys obviously need to be reworked/nerfed but using them as they've been meant to be used for the past few years is not "abuse."
It is clearly an ingame exploit via altered key-spawn values so I intend to report any survivor who escapes via keys they found from chests.
-
I've seen more keys being used for easy escapes than ever before this week alone. It's absolutely appalling and makes the killer feel cheated, especially if there are still several survivors alive which makes this just even more unfair.
-
I just had to endure another game with survivors finding a key just for them to use it right away to get them and a pal outta there. All of that invalidated the herculean effort I put into the game by playing Trickster, and this broken mechanic robbed me of my chance of even pipping. This should NOT be possible, especially if there are at least 3 survivors still alive. Change this immediately.
-
- Delete/rework keys.
- Buff multiple killers.
- Delete half of the pallets on The Game.
-
Sadly camping is a necessary evil for many killers who struggle to keep up with broken map design and insane survivor perks. Take Trickster for example, you literally cannot get kills on him without actually camping and tunneling someone. This is one strategy which he absolutely needs to even function.
-
These buffs are completely missing the mark. As long as he's stuck with 110% movespeed there's literally no reason to pick him over Huntress or Deathslinger. He's forced to hit 8 projectiles to do the same thing as these two other killers who can deal immediate damage with just one hit. All he'll excel at is wasting his own time and getting genrushed. Also why can't he still store his own power (Main Event)? This is flatout terrible.
-
If you somehow manage to go down against the weakest killer in the game then you really deserve to be sacrificed, even if it has to be done by facecamping. What else is Trickster going to do? He's unable of scoring kills any other way in his current state.
-
Being hit by Trickster's knives should force survivors to mend in some way to remove the blades, the passive regression needs to go. Dropping a chase or extending it for too long just to play your inefficient minigame punishes him so hard while gens are popping right and left. Even Plague still leaves an impression if she can't fully commit since she still infects you with her power. Trickster meanwhile excels at wasting his own time.

Good, so people can keep calling me like that, just because they are mad and I'm German.
Makes it also extra-easy to get people banned by reporting them immediately after.
-
Fun fact: the other n-word which refers to a member of the nationalsocialistic party is surprisingly okay for the chat-filter. But the second you mention "facecamping" your message gets censored.
-
The thing is, why would you ever want to play a 110% killer like Trickster if your whole playstyle is reduced to m1 attacks? I think his greatest issue is how he has to commit so damn hard to get any value out of his knives while wasting tons of time during it. And even if he manages to lodge 8 knives into someone's back they still get a speedburst from it - why is that even a thing?
He should be a 115% killer at least, his power comes with far too many handicaps. It's beyond me why the devs haven't reacted to the overwhelming negative chapter feedback so far.
-
Nurse is the only killer who unironically makes me kill myself on hook. There's no point playing against this busted killer once their player has figured out how she works. She desperately needs a rework which removes her ability to blindly blink through objects.
-

Well, SWF use 3rd party tools like discord to bypass the handicap of lack of information. Do you think that people who play with discord are cheaters as well?
Yes, I do.

That's extremely lazy of them. The community has spoken and they need to listen. Is it really too much to ask for them to refine their own model? This is an insult to the person who spent all this time on creating the skin. That's like robbing them of their reward.

Monstrous shrine hands down super OP hard enough already to kobe and hook timers are too short.
Monstrous Shrine should be reworked into affecting ALL hooks on the map. I think then it would finally serve a proper purpose. No more kobes due to reduced luck and overall faster hook progress.

Wishing death on someone's family because they brought a Game map is a bit much. You know, just a tiny bit.
Happens to me all the time, their favorite way of cursing my family is to wish corona upon them.
-
I kinda can understand the killer's frustration, after all you brought a map offering for the most survivor sided map in the entire game.
-
After 20 games of failed attempts I tried renaming myself into "Slug Me for Mission x2" and similiar things. It took me FIVE more games to finally find a killer who was willing to read and cooperate with my name. Thank god this abhorrent grind is finally over.
-
I've stopped counting a long time ago but I'm probably at 20 attempts or so. This mission is absolutely absurd, none of the killers I've encountered did bother to slug. Heck, all they do is tunnel and eat a DS until that person is dead. No slugging here.
In the rare case when a killer does slug it's usually me who's lying on the floor, so much for getting this damn mission done.

Well Ink Bendy gameplay wise, just chases after you if he spots you in Chapter 3, morphs into a giant monster in Chapter 5. I thought powerwise, he would've been similar to Demo, . But it was the creator's/Themeatlys' first ever game, and I'll admit coding is difficult, so when the next game comes out, hopefully he does more than Just chase you blindly.

I rewatched Markiplier's video of him playing Power drill massacre, and I'll admit, its scary as hell. Even rivaling Outlast, Amnesia, and many other big horror titles like RE, and Silent Hill. Puppet Combo is still working on it I think, and hopefully finishes it, it was impressive how scary it was.
I'm not sure if he'll ever continue work on "Power Drill Massacre", the game is rather old at this point and he's been doing multiple other projects since then. He also did release another game with the same killer which is "Night Watch". Not sure if it's a pre- or sequel, though. One thing's certain, Puppet Combo is an expert at scaring people - and he's getting better and better at it.

Ehhh cheap and some expensive ones. Im thinking Nemesis, Piggsy, Someone from Outlast, Frank West (he’s not a killer but id love to see him in the game), Necromorph, Someone from one of Puppet Combo’s games, hell maybe even a Death Claw from Fallout?
I'd looove to see the killer from Puppet Combo's "Power Drill Massacre". He's extremely creepy and the screams he makes during the chases are absolutely bonechilling. Also definitely one of the scariest indiegames in existence.
Another great crossover would be the killer from "The Murder House" (another Puppet Combo game) where the murderer is a bloodthirsty maniac in an Easter Bunny costume. He'd make for some fine cosmetics for The Clown if you ask me.

Playing on a custom server will only increase the chance of encountering hackers and cheaters who would be able to get away with their nonsense since there'd be no actual authority to deal with them.
-
I'll be honest, the only way the devs ever gonna get me to spend money/auric cells on a new release is to give us licensed content. If they give us original characters, I will only use iridescent shards on them. My main reason for even getting the game over 2 years ago were the licensed killers and it still remains my main reason for playing the game. Without them I wouldn't even have bothered playing DbD.

Are you joking? This the norm for solo queue players. It's a literal rainbow of different ranks and the reason I only touch survivor for rift challenges anymore.
I guess this proves that all my killer matches feature SWF groups who happen to have cohesive ranks similiar or equal to my own.

We have dedicated servers now. So checking the logs for inconsistencies should be easy. The whole video evidence thing made sense when the game was p2p. But now?
My last hacker report via support ticket was in 2020 when we already had dedicated servers and they didn't bother looking up any gamelogs. Even when I presented image evidence through screencaps (with one of them even showing the culprit ADMITTING that he's cheating) they still closed the ticket after stating that they wouldn't do anything without video evidence. The sheer incompetence is appalling.

Seriously.
Just had a survivor disable player collision and was running right through me, as well other survivors who were taking protection hits. Thought it was lag or Dead Hard at first
The hacker did some pretty nasty stuff, for instance they were able to spawn any item they wanted while increasing its properties. The flashlight they had contained the power of the sun and the blind itself lasted half a minute. They also kept warping throughout the map while hooking and unhooking themself in the air. They also had access to perks despite equipping none. It was simply disgusting. After 3 minutes of this I simply went into a corner and stood there until the match was over.

Representation normalises people in cultures and changes the views of people. When enough people want a change, it will happen, be it through democracy or a revolution.
I'm still surprised changes to characters like Varus (LoL) and Tracer (Overwatch) were still omitted in those regions I've mentioned. Looks like Riot Games and Blizzard don't have the balls to do this.
